Abstract

Abstract— The purpose of this research is to know that the learning model of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) can improve students' mathematical concept comprehension ability. Mathematics is very necessary to be given to students ranging from elementary to college level to equip learners with the ability to understand mathematical concepts. In general, mathematics learning in Indonesia is still using the traditional approach so that the lesson of mathematics less meaningful. Based on the above problems it is necessary to have a model of learning that is considered appropriate to overcome the problem is the learning model of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) which is a learning model that emphasizes student learning activities in which students are actively building their own personal and group knowledge by integrating three aspects 1) Auditory (2) Intellectually (3) Repetition. Therefore, the learning model of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) can improve students' mathematical concept. Keywords— understanding of mathematical concepts, learning model of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR). Abstrak— Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bahwa model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Matematika sangatlah perlu diberikan kepada peserta didik mulai dari tingkat dasar sampai perguruan tinggi untuk membekali peserta didik dengan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Secara umum pembelajaran matematika di Indonesia masih menggunakan pendekatan tradisional sehingga pembelajaran matematika kurang bermakna. Berdasarkan permasalahan di atas maka diperlukan sebuah model pembelajaran yang dipandang tepat untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) yakni model pembelajaran yang menekankan pada kegiatan belajar siswa dimana siswa secara aktif membangun sendiri pengetahuan secara pribadi maupun kelompok dengan mengintegrasikan tiga aspek (1) Auditory (2) Intellectually (3) Repetition. Maka dari itu model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Kata Kunci— Pemahaman Konsep Matematis, Model Pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR).

Abstract

Abstract—The purpose of this research is to know whether or not the effect of means ends analysis model on students problem solving ability on the material of two linear equation system in SMAN 1 Tungkal Ilir with two linear equations system. Learning is a process of developing the potential and character development of each learner as a result of the synergy between education going on in school, family, and society. In line with the development of Curriculum 2013, in the learning process students are required to be active, creative, and innovative and expected learning process the teacher centered teacher will turn into student centered learning. Based on the above problems it is necessary to model the learning that can be a new alternative to overcome the above problem is Model Means Ends Analysis is a model of learning variation of the method of learning problem solving with syntax: serve materials with heuristic-based problem-solving approach, elaboration into sub- simpler, and students are given an active role in learning to achieve the ultimate goal of a lesson and in learning with Means Ends Analysisini model students are not only judged on the results of the work, but also judged on the process pengerjaanya. Keywords— student problem solving, Means Ends Analysis model. Abstrak— Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh model means ends analysis terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel di SMAN 1 Tungkal Ilir, dengan materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel. Pembelajaran merupakan suatu proses penegembangan potensi dan pembangunan karakter setiap peserta didik sebagai hasil dari sinergi antara pendidikan yang berlangsung disekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat.Sejalan dengan perkembangan Kurikulum 2013 maka dalam proses pembelajaran siswa dituntut untuk bersikap aktif, kreatif, dan inovatif dan diharapkan proses pembelajaran yang mulanya berpusat pada guru (teacher centered) akan berubah menjadi pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa (student centered). Berdasarkan permasalahan diatas maka diperlukan model pembelajaran yang dapat menjadi alternatif baru untuk mengatasi masalah diatas yaitu Model Means Ends Analysis yaitu suatu model pembelajaran variasi dari metode pembelajaran pemecahan masalah dengan sintaks: sajikan materi dengan pendekatan pemecahan masalah berbasis heuristik, elaborasi menjadi sub-sub masalah yang lebih sederhana, dan siswa diberikan peran aktif didalam pembelajaran  untuk mencapai tujuan akhir dari suatu pembelajaran dan dalam pembelajaran dengan model Means Ends Analysisini siswa tidak hanya dinilai pada hasil pengerjaannya, namun juga dinilai pada proses pengerjaanya. Kata Kunci— pemecahan masalah siswa, model Means Ends Analysis.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the CORE learning model assisted  by  Macromedia  Flash  8 on  students'  mathematical  problem  solving abilities. This research method uses Groub Design Posttest-Only Control. The population in this study were all eighth grade students in State Middle School 15 Palembang in the 2018/2019 school year. The study sample was 59 students consisting of 30 students from class VIII.9 as the experimental class and 29 students from class VIII.8 as the control class. Samples were taken using Simple Random Sampling techniques. Data was collected through tests of students' mathematical problem solving skills in relation material and functions. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Independent Sample T-Test t-test. The results of the Posttest analysis mean the value of the experimental  class  is  80.34  and  the  average  value  of  the  control  class  is  73.10. Research shows that there is a significant effect of the CORE learning model assisted by Macromedia Flash 8 on mathematical problem solving abilities of students of Palembang State Middle School 15.
