STUDI KARAKTERISTIK SUB DAERAH ALIRAN SUNGAI (SUB DAS) SENGARIT PADA DAERAH ALIRAN SUNGAI (DAS) KAPUAS KABUPATEN SANGGAU

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari karakteristik sub DAS Sengarit pada DAS Kapuas di Kabupaten Sanggau. Sub DAS Sengarit memiliki luas 23.407 ha. Penelitian dilakukan di lapangan untuk mengukur dan mengambil sampel, pada dua titikpengamatan yaitu di hulu dan hilir sub DAS Sengarit. Kemudian dilanjutkan analisis sampel air di laboratorium Kualitas dan Kesehatan Lahan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura untuk analisis sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sub DAS Sengarit memiliki pola dendritic (crystaline rock)dengan bentuk DAS seperti bulu burung. Kerapatan drainase pada sub DAS Sengarit sebesar 0,19,termasuk kategori rendah dan hanya terdiri atas 2 orde. Profil melintang sungainya berbentuk segitiga.Kualitas air sub DAS Sengarit memiliki rata-rata pH 6,59 pada bagian hulu dan 5,86 pada bagian hilir, suhu rata-rata 29,80ºC pada bagian hulu dan 28,96ºC pada bagian hilir, serta kecerahan rata-rata 49,1 cm pada bagian hulu dan 43,3 cm pada bagian hilir. Untuk hasil TSS didapat nilai rata-rata TSS sebesar 15,4 mg/l pada bagian hulu dan 12mg/l pada bagian hilir. Berdasarkan perbandingan antara TSS rata-rata di outlet hulu dan hilir dengan TSS standar untuk pertanian, maka nilai TSS rata-rata pada sub DAS Sengaritbelum berpengaruh terhadap pertanian dan perikanan.  This research aims to study the characteristic of the sub-watersheds Sengarit the Kapuas watersheds in Sanggau. Sub-watersheds Sengarit has an area of 23,407 ha. The study was conducted in the field to measure and take samples on two points observation of upstream and downstream the watersheds of Sengarit. Then continued analysis of the water samples analysis in the laboratory Quality and Health Land of Agriculture, University of Tanjungpura for sample analysis. The results showed that the sub-watersheds Sengarit was dendritic pattern (crystalline rock) to form the watersheds as a feather.  Drainage density in the sub-watersheds Sengarit of 0,19, including the low category and only consisted of 2 orders. Profilr triangular cross the river. Water quality Sengarit sub-watersheds has an average pH of 6,59 to 5,86 at the upstream and downstream sections, the average temperature of 29,80ºC to 28,96 ºCat the upstream and downstream sections, as well as the average brightness of 49,1 cm and 43,3 cm at upstream and downstream. TSS results obtained for the average value of TSS of 15,4 mg/l at the upstream and 12 mg/l in the lower reaches. Based on the comparison between the average TSSin upstream and downstream oulet with TSS standards for agriculture then the average value of TSS in river flows Sengarit not affect the agriculture and fishieries.
