Abstract

In the daily life, people interacts and shares information through their five senses. But people rarely realizes the importance of each senses, because they often use it unconsciously and because of less information updates. Where actually, the knowledge of five senses is more complex, can be an inspiration and can be developed in everyday life. Five Senses Recreation Center is an attractive, interactive, and educative five senses facility. Not only to learn about five senses, but also to consciously feel through five senses in games. This design uses the data collection and data analysis methods. The result of this design includes the games and interior design concept which supported by the layout, floor plan, ceiling plan, electrical mechanical, section, interior elements details, furniture details, and some interior perspective views.

Abstract

Memahami sensorik manusia di lingkungan sangat penting dalam perancangan ruang interior. Indera memainkan peran penting dalam pengalaman manusia dengan kenangan dan emosi yang terikat didalamnya. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pengalaman pancera indera atau aspek sensorik manusia dapat menjadi acuan desainer dalam merancang interior, dan dilakukan melalui eksplorasi dan kajian literatur terkait. Hasil pembahasan menunjukan rangsangan sensorik dapat ditimbulkan melalui beberapa pengolahan elemen interior termasuk display, pencahayaan, perabotan, musik, dan kualitas udara seperti aroma dan suhu. Semuanya berkontribusi dan melengkapi satu sama lain dalam membentuk suatu orkestra interior yang kompleks. Pengalaman sensorik dalam interior memperdalam pemahaman kondisi fisik interior dalam persepsi sensorik pengguna. Bentuk informasi sensorik  terdiri dari yang bersifat (1) visual, yaitu penglihatan yang merupakan aspek yang paling jelas dalam merasakan interior ruangan dan (2) rangsangan non-visual, seperti pencium, perasa, pendengaran, peraba yang menimbulkan pengaruh emosional dalam pengalaman sensorik di dalam ruang interior.

Abstract

This research was based on the background of the lack of critical thinking skills of students in SMP PGRI 6 Bandar Lampung. This is caused by several factors, one of which is the selection of learning models such as conventional learning models that are continuously applied by teachers in the classroom. Efforts to address these problems, researchers aim to determine whether there is the effect of problem-based learning with cognitive conflict strategies towards students' critical thinking skills better than conventional learning. This research is a type of experimental research from Quasi Experimental design. This study uses the Pretest design - Posttest Control Group. The subjects in this study were VII grade students of PGRI 6 SMP Bandar Lampung with a total sample of 62 students. The sampling technique was carried out by means of class random techniques. Instruments used to collect data in tests of critical thinking skills. For the normality test using the Liliefors test, the homogeneity test uses a similarity test of two variances. The hypothesis test used in this study is the t-test on n-gain data. With a sample of 62 students and a significant level of α = 0.005 obtained t table = 2,0002 and the calculation results obtained by tcount = 2.50791, it can be seen that tcount> ttable then H0 is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that whether there is the influence of problem-based learning with cognitive conflict strategies towards students' critical thinking skills better than conventional learning.
