Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out the influence of Problem Based Learning method in improving students science knowledge. This research was a quasi-experimental research and used nonequivalent control group design. The subject of this research was 40 students from 2 classes. The main instrument which was used in this research was test. Based on the result of data analysis and hypothesis testing results, it can be concluded that Problem Based Learning could give an influence on the students science knowledge in the fifth grade at SD Negeri 2 Kampung Baru Bandar Lampung 2014/2015 Academic Year.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperiment dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 40 siswa yang terdiri dari 2 kelas. Instrumen utama yang digunakan adalah tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 2 Kampung Baru Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.Kata kunci: hasil belajar IPA, model pembelajaran, problem based learning
