Abstract

Fusarium oxysporum Schlecht. a parasitic fungus that cause leaf wilt disease in plants. Meanwhile, basil (Ocimum americanum L.) is a plant that contains of the active compound in the form of phenols which have antifungal activity. This study aimed to test whether the extract of leaves of basil have antifungal activity againts Fusarium oxysporum Schlecht. and determine the optimum concentration to inhibit the growth of the fungus Fusarium oxysporum Schlecht. Antifungal test is done by using paper disc diffusion method. The study design used was a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 6 replications. The treatment is K0 (0% w/v), K1 (5% w/v), K2 (10% w/v), and K3 (15% w/v). The results showed that the leaf extract of basil have antifungal activity against Fusarium oxysporum Schlecht. Inhibition zone on K0, K1, K2, and K3 are each 0,0 mm, 1,49 mm, 2,46 mm, and 2,01 mm. The optimum concentration of antifungal activity of extract of basil, namely the K2 concentration (10% w/v). Based on analysis of variance (ANOVA), the concentration of basil leaf extract provides significant differences (p > 0,05) on fungus Fusarium oxysporum Schlecht., where Fcount > Ftable is 4,5 > 3,1.

Abstract

Red chilli (Capsicum annuum L.) is one of vegetables that useful for Indonesian people. Red chilli contains high vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and beta-carotene that surpass fruits often consumed by people like papaya, mango, pineaple and watermelon. Red chilli easily rotten so scientist use sodium benzoate to preservate anti-fungi. Red chilli which use sodium benzoate stored in 10oC (freezer) with variate in one day, 5 days and 10 days saving. This research point is to know the impact of sodium benzoate, saving time, saving in the room teperature and saving in the freezer to the red chilli vitamin C level. This research is held in the Politeknik Kesehatan Palembang Jurusan Gizi Laboratory. The decision of the vitamin C level based on the iodin titration. This research used completely randomized design with 8 treatments, 3 replications and 3 saving times till we get 72 trials. These treatments are A1= 0%/100g, A2= 0,07%/100g, A3= 0,09%/100g, A4 = 0,1%/100g, B1= 0%/100g, B2= 0,07%/100g, B3= 0,09%/100g, dan B4= 0,1%/100g which each saved one day, 5 days and 10 days in the room teperature and freezer. This research result show that saving time treatment have real impact to the red chilli vitamin C level is F count 238,57 more than 3,30 in the F table. In the adding concentration treatment sodium benzoate doesn‟t have the real impact to the red chilli vitamin C level that F count 0,023 less than 3,49 in the F table. The temperature treatment doesn‟t also have the real impact to the red chilli vitamin C level that F count -0,0008 less than the 18,51 in the F table. This research higest vitamin C level in the adding sodium benzoate 0,07% treatment which save in the room temperature since from H0 until H+10 the vitamin C level is increassy.

Abstract

Marketing activities in museum stores offer significant opportunities to evaluate distinct strategies and their related performance in a nonprofit setting. Whereas the museum store was originally intended to provide financial support for the institution with which it was associated, it now provides an educational or mission-related opportunity as well. This research identified variable of elaborate product orientation, customer orientation, competitor orientation and sales orientation toward social effectiveness and economic effectiveness. Total 18 museum in Jakarta was surveyed by researcher with interview technique to the museum management. The finding of this research, museum management should combining the variables of product orientation, customer orientation, competitor orientation and sales orientation in order to achieve social effectiveness and economic effectiveness

Abstract

Leadership is an important discussion, especially in order to improve thequality of education, because in the world of education can not be separatedfrom the influence of education, especially related to the formation ofeducational policy. One model that is quite popular in the worldof education is transformational leadership. A leader in education should beable to apply the model of transformational leadership. Therefore,transformational leadership is not only based on the need for self-esteem,but also to improve awareness of a leader to act best in accordance with the studyof management development and leadership that sees humans,performances, and growth as a side affects one to another. This Leadership is oriented toward the change of vision that is the leaders ability to create, define, communicate, socialize,transform, and implement the ideal thoughts coming from himself or as aresult of social interaction among members of the organization and itsstakeholders are believed to be the ideals of the organization in the futurethat must be achieved or realized through the commitment of all personnel.

Abstract

The high costs of maintenance catfish in the pond, making the maintenance of catfish in the narrow land be onealternative maintenance catfish. Among the efforts to increase production of catfish in the maintenance of thenarrow area is to increase stocking density at the pool tarp, and the use of catfish (Clarias sp.) Which issuperior strains, the results of Indonesian researchers. This study was conducted in an investigation on Jl.Slamet Riyadi Lr. Lawang Kidul Darat, Palembang in South Sumatra, in April-May, 2016. The parameters usedare weight, length, and degree of fish life. This research used experimental method completely randomizeddesign (CRD), with 3 treatments, and each 3 repetitions by comparing growth in the control treatment (P0 =100 birds / m2) with treatment P1 (125 individuals / m2), P2 (150 individuals / m2), and P3 (175 individuals /m2). The results showed that there was a significant difference between the treatment given to the growth ofweight, length, and degree of life. P1 treatment gives the best growth of the catfish and significantly different toother treatments (P <0.05). Absolute growth of 8.65 grams, with a length of 5.7 cm.

Abstract

Alcohol is widely used in industry, such as a solvent, as a synthesis in the chemical industry and at the present time alcohol is also used to fuel cars. This study aims to determine the differences in the level of alcohol contained in Tapai white sticky rice and cassava with different doses of yeast. This research was conducted in the laboratory of Chemical Biology Education Studies Program Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching UIN Raden Fatah Palembang in August 2015. The method used in this study is the experimental method using a completely randomized factorial design consisting of two factors, namely the type of fermentation ingredients: (Tapai white sticky rice and cassava) and a dose of yeast (0.5%, 1% and 1.5%) with four replications. Data were analyzed by ANOVA followed by two lines and test Beda Distance Real Duncan (BJND) at the level of 1%. Based on the results of the analysis showed that the alcohol content of the type of material the value of F count = 82.14> F table = 8.29 and yeast dose of F count = 812.14> F table = 6.01. From the results of this study concluded that: 1) There is a very real difference to the alcoholic content of fermented glutinous white Tapai and cassava. 2) There is a very real effect of different doses of yeast against alcohol content.

soil Worm and knowing Waste to own womb very high protein until Soil Worm and knowing Waste can to be used as the good addition food to betoks fish. with fish age betok 4 month Soil Worm Giving and knowing Waste to be expected can to level it growing to Fish Betok. this Research have go to know the influence of Soil Worm-giving and Waste Know in Fish growing Betok (Anabas testudineus) and to know foodwhich is to get it result that maximal in Fish growing Betok (Anabas testudineus). the Research is executed in Laboratory TO MIPA UIN Raden Fatah Palembang . This Research to use it Random Planing Complete (RAL) with 4 Treatment and 6 Repeating. The mentioned Treatment is P0= pelet, P1= knowing waste 8 gr and soil worm 4 gram, P2= knowing Waste 6 gr and soil worm 6 gr, P3= Soil Worm 8 gr and knowing waste 4 gr. show analysiical Result that growing grew highest to long of fish to treatment P3=4,36 cm and lowest 1,96 cm. To highest heavy to treatment P3= 4,76 gr, and lowest 1,5 gr. Its conclusion is Soil Worm giving and Waste Know to fish Betok (Anabas testudineus) influency in long growing and heavy of body betoks fish

Abstract

Curly chili (Capsicum annum L.) is a kind of vegetable commodities which very demand among the Indonesian because of its spicy taste that can be used as a flavoring dishes and has a high economic value. The goal of this study is to determine the effect of bark compost coffee (Coffea robusta) in growing media on the growth and development of plants curly chili (Capsicum annum L.) and severe skin compost coffee (Coffea robusta) which gives the maximum growth of the plant curly chili (Capsicum annum L.). This research is conducted in the Laboratory Science UIN Raden Fatah Palembang by using experimental methods and completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 6 replications treatment namely: P0 = Without the addition of compost the coffee (Coffea robusta ) (control), P1= Adding compost the coffee (Coffea robusta) 30 grams, P2= Adding compost the coffee (Coffea robusta) 60 grams , P3 = Addition of compost skin (Coffea robusta) coffee 90 grams. Data are analyzed by F test followed by a test BJND (Difference Distance Real Duncan). The parameters of this study are plant height, number of leaves (pieces), the amount of fruit, and fruit weight. The results show that the addition of compost the coffee (Coffea robusta) 90 grams (treatment P3) gives a very real effect on the growth of plant height, number of leaves, number of fruits, and also fruit weight. The conclusion is compost the coffee (Coffea robusta) gives effect to the addition of compost and bark coffee (Coffea robusta) 90 grams provides maximum growth and development of the plant curly chili (Capsicum annum L.).

Abstract

The appeal of songket as a small and medium-sized industry or Small Business Menangah (UKM) is not only assessed by the market in terms of its quality and only its quality. More than that, the peculiarities of the Palembang region that are closely related to the history of the Palembang sultanate, which was famous for its glory, were able to provide more value in the marketing of Palembang songket.Unfortunately, this opportunity has not been maximized, so it is only natural that songket is not only able to run in place at the moment, with a minimal amount of production, with the reason to wait for foreign markets to pick up and maintain the local market. Even though the global market is wriggling and there are many outside markets for songket, its time to be captured by songket craftsmen, either through increasing production, marketing strategies or improving quality in terms of yarn types, designs to patterns.This condition is worsened by the lack of forms of promotion carried out by songket craftsmen, so that it requires maximum effort, either through government policy or the company itself to work together to encourage promotional efforts to market the existing songket production, not only can it exist in the domestic market but also be able to exist in foreign market. with this, this paper will improve the quality of songket in South Sumatra.

Abstract

The use of formalin increasingly widely circulated among sellers tahu, because nature tahu easily broken then the sellers know much use out using formalin. Turmeric has active compounds that issaponin. It can be used to minimize the presence of formaldehyde in tahu This study used tahu immersed in 5% formalin solution added a solution of turmeric. The research carried on in the Laboratory of the Polytechnic Palembang Health Nutrition Department. Determination of formaldehyde using a spectrophotometer test. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with a model of Factorial three factors, namely soaking treatment (60 minutes, 75 minutes, 90 minutes) giving a solution of Turmeric (0 %, 10 %, 15 %, 20 %) and storage factor (0, 24, 48, 72 hours). The parameters used are formaldehyde levels and organoleptic test. These results indicate that treatment of soaking time did not significantly affect the levels of formaldehyde in tahu that F count -0.022 smaller than F table 6.94. Treatment addition of turmeric solution concentration does not significantly affect the levels of formaldehyde at 0.864 tahu that F count is smaller than F table 3.16. The storage time treatment also did not significantly affect the levels of formaldehyde in tahu that F count -11.16 smaller than 2.73. However, the interaction between the immersion treatment, turmeric solution concentration and storage time significantly affect the levels of formaldehyde in the tahu, namely 282.16 F count larger than F table 1.75. And the results of organoleptic able to change the texture of aroma and color in tahu with decreasing levels of formaldehyde in tahu. In this study, formaldehyde levels lowest in 90 minutes soaking treatment, the concentration of 20 % deposit 72 hours .
