Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 3 Palembang is unique enough to be studied because since inception of Islamic religion teacher education institutions. The results of this study found that type of leadership visoner is owned by head of Man 3 Palembang oriented management of change and continues over time. Visionary leadership is the key. Head of MAN 3 Palembang has been able to create, formulate, communicate, socialize, transform, and implement the ideal thoughts coming from him and the result of social interaction between members of organization and stakeholders that are believed to achieve ideals of organization in the future. In addition, management of change has been initiated through an internal analysis of the organization by identifying four areas, namely services, finance, human resources and facilities in order to discover the strengths and weaknesses internal to the organization. All of this has been the commitment of all personnel MAN 3 Palembang to achieve my goals and success. Lastly, head of MAN 3 Palembang has been able to implement management changes, so that the organization built quality improvement-oriented leadership, teacher quality, school programs, students final exam results, student achievement and strong school culture.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe in depth between the link of school policy and the school quality improvement. The method in this study is a qualitative method using the case study presented descriptively. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Babat Tomat Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Based on this study it was found that the First, free school policy can help the economy / ease the burden of school costs to be incurred by the parents. Second, the policy constraints of the application for free school educa-tion at SMAN 2 Babat Toman is not very effective, so that the students interest is not increasing, infrastructure is one of the obstacles in the implementation of free school education, how the quality of schools will be increased if it is not supported by facilities and complete infrastructure. Third, the quality of school education free SMAN 2 Babat Toman already realized well with regard to input, input turns unselected maximum, that is the students. Fourth, the implementation of free school education in Banyuasin, the quality of school SMAN 2 Babat Toman Muba Sumsel was not increased. This means that the implementation for free school education quality of school SMAN 2 Babat Toman was not increased.Keywords : free schools, school quality, case studies

Abstract

Education Decentralization is a fact that cannot be denied in the national system of education. Therefore, educational settings are vulnerable towards political policy played by the government that makes the government have a very dominant authority in determining the direction of education including teacher’s duty. As educators, the teachers should have professional competence, pedagogic, personality, social that can make them professional teachers. Therefore, politicizing tendency is not expected to interfere with the professional duties of teachers. As a consequency, the strategies that lead to improve the quality and welfare of teachers are necessarily needed.

Abstract

The battles of ideology after Indonesia’s independence has implied indirectly toward the development of national education which was established by the Indonesian nation. Battles and debates of the concept of Indonesian education system has been becoming public consumptions that never ends. The implication is the double educational system which happens in Indonesia nowadays, and those are the real forms of ideology battles. Consequently the battles linearly impact on the institution dichotomy, educational objective, scientific and curriculum in every Indonesian  educational unit.

Abstract

Isu lingkungan menjadi sorotan di sekolah selalu penting untuk meningkatkan citra madrasah itu sendiri. Oleh karena itu, sikap partisipasi adalah sikap dan tindakan yang berusaha untuk mencegah kerusakan lingkungan alam sekitarnya dan pengembangan untuk meningkatkan kerusakan lingkungan yang telah terjadi.Sebagai bentuk partisipasi aktif MAN 3 Palembang berusaha untuk mengembangkan diri sebagai madrasah berbasis lingkungan, dengan terus meningkatkan kualitas madrasah akuisisi posisi Adiwiyata ditingkat nasional hari menuju diri Adiwiyata.Semuanya dilakukan melalui visi, serta diperlukan partisapasi internal dan eksternal. Madrasah sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang berusaha untuk menjadi madrasah berbasis lingkungan dengan kriteria sebagai berikut: pengaturan, pengelolaan sampah di sudut kelas, membuat slogan tentang lingkungan, tentang budaya sehat, bebas narkoba dan sebagainya dukungannya akan berkompetisi. Pengembangan kebijakan perawatan madrasah dan lingkungan budaya di MAN 3 Palembang dianggap baik, dibuktikan dengan budaya bersih, sehat dan peduli lingkungan. Environmental issues into the spotlight at the school always important to improve the image of madrasah itself. Therefore, participation attitude is an attitude and actions which seeks to prevent damage to the surrounding natural environment and development to improve the environmental damage that has occurred. As a form of active participation MAN 3 Palembang trying to develop themselves as a madrasah-based environment, by continually improving the quality of madrasah of acquisition positions Adiwiyata national level today towards self Adiwiyata. Everything is done through the vision, as well as the necessary internal and external partisapasi.Madrasah as an educational institution that strives to be a madrasah-based environment with the following criteria: the arrangement, the waste management in the corner of the classroom, create a slogan about the environment, about the culture of healthy, drug-free and so its support would be competed. Madrasah care policy development and cultural environment in MAN 3 Palembang considered good, evidenced by the culture of clean, healthy and care for the environment.

Abstract

Persepsi guru tentang pengetahuan manajemen Kepala Madrasah di MAN 1 Palembang, artikel ini dibatasi pada pesepsi guru tentang pengetahuan manajemen kepala madrasah agar dalam melaksanakan tugasnya sesuai dengan komponen terkait efektivitas kerja kepala madrasah dalam melaksanakan tugasnya untuk pencapaian tujuan pendidikan itu. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yakni wawancara mendalam, observasi, dokumentasi, dan tringangulasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data digunakan menurut Miles dan Huberman, meliputi data reduction, data display, dan conclusion/verification. Hasil yang didapatkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang meliputi kepala sekolah sebagai edukator, manajer, administrator, supervisor, leader, inovator dan motivator sesuai dengan hasil pengolahan data termasuk dalam kategori baik. Motivasi kerja yang meliputi motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik sesuai dengan hasil pengolahan data termasuk kategori cukup baik. Kepemimpinan kepala madrasah mendapat dukungan yang cukup dari guru dan para wakil kepala madrasah, dan dibuktikan dalam pelaksanaan kepemimpinan yang bersifat partisipatif. Pada prinsipnya masalah yang muncul di madrasah akan disesuaikan dengan sebaik mungkin apabila penyelesaikannya diserahkan kepada pihak yang yang paling dekat keberadaan masalah tersebut. Kepemimpinan kepala madrasah berhasil dengan baik apabila warga madrasah memiliki inisiatif dalam menjalankan pekerjaannya dan inisiatif setiap individu dihargai. Yang terjadi di MAN 1 Palembang adalah masih kurangnya inisiatif warga madrasah karena kurangnya rasa memiliki terhadap madrasah tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi pasar dan menentukan lokasi terbaik pada perencanaanpembangunan galangan kapal di Kabupaten Bengkalis sehingga selanjutnya dapat dilakukan perencanaan fasilitas, sarana dan layout galangan kapal yang akan direncanakan. Analisis potensi pasar dilakukan dengan mengkaji data-data yang ada dan untuk bangunan baru juga dianalisis dengan metode forecasting. Pemilihan lokasi dilakukan dengan pembobotan sederhana untukbeberapa lokasi yang menjadi target dengan menilai kriteria dan sub-kriteria pada 4 lokasi desa yang dinilai berpotensi. Hasil analisis potensi, pasar utama reparasi adalah kapal Tugboat, Penumpang/Ferry dan Barge.Sedangkan hasil forecasting, permintaan pembangunan kapal baru masih besar terutama tipe kapal Tugboat dan Penumpang/Ferry.Pada analisis pemilihan lokasi, desa Sejangat terpilih sebagai lokasi paling potensial dengan hasil pembobotan sebesar 68,4% untuk komposisi penilaian lokasi atau komposisi rasio 26,9%.Untuk perencanaan fasilitas utama galangan telah direncanakan masing-masing 2 area untuk fasilitas produksi seperti building berth danslipwaydengan ukuran 25 x 80 m2 dan 25 x 100 m2untuk bangunan baru,dan 20 x 80 m2& 20 x 100 m2 untuk kegiatan reparasi, serta juga perencanaan bengkel-bengkel produksi. Pada perencanaanlayout galangan, dipilih layout tipe I dan direncanakan tenaga kerja langsung 38 orang dan tidak langsung 25 orang. Kata Kunci - potensi pasar, pemilihan lokasi, fasilitas galangan kapal

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan informasi akuntansi, sistem pengukuran kinerja dan sistem penghargaan terhadap kinerja manajerial pada perusahaan ritel modern di Kota Jambi. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 61 orang. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari manajer tingkat bawah (lower management) sampai atas (top management). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan informasi akuntansi manajemen berpengaruh terhadap kinerja manajerial, sistem pengukuran kinerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja manajerial, dan sistem penghargaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, sedangkan secara bersamaan (simultan) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan ritel modern di Kota Jambi.

Abstract

The proverbial of “Jeme tue” in Besemah ethnic in Pagaralam hassome philosophical values. These valuesare: 1) Value of Responsibility (ndepat mbaliq, serame beghagih, utang mbayar, piutang tanggapi); 2) Value of Honesty (janji tunggu, kate bertareh; nde ughang, nde ughang, nde dighi, nde dighi); 3) Value of Social Concern (seganti, setungguan; jangan ngehuh ulu mandian; jangan menghentak jambat; dan amu dik pacak iluki, jangan menghusak jadilah); 4) Value of Love (ndek kecik nurut, nde besak peralah, nde tue ngipa;, iluk-iluk la dik beradik, jangan mudah bepengambik dan amu ndak iluk mpung gi undak); 5) Value of Patience (antak ke lemak, nangdung kudai); 6)Value of Maturity (bekenceghan); 7) Value of Courage (takut jangan belaghi, melawan jangan ngalau); and 8) Value of Hard Work (berangkekah pedang di tangan, siangi jalan ke mandian). The values of individual philosophy contained in the proverbs have a very influential meaning to the young Islamic generation themselves, as they are applied in the family and society.
