PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS MELALUI MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL

Abstract

Social studies learning in class IV A at Elementary School 5 Bumi Nabung Ilir was not optimal, the result of students learning were still low. The purpose of this research was to increase students learning result by implementing the problem based learning model and audio visual media. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Stages of each cycle were planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data were obtained through non-test and test techniques using the observation sheet and questions test. Data were analyzed by using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results of this research showed that the implementation of problem based learning model and audio visual media in social studies learning can increase students learning result.Pembelajaran IPS di kelas IV A SD Negeri 5 Bumi Nabung Ilir belum optimal, hasil belajar siswa masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model problem based learning dan media audio visual. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan 2 siklus. Tahapan setiap siklus yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui teknik non tes dan tes dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model problem based learning dan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: audio visual, hasil belajar, problem based learning.
