Abstract

ABSTRACT Effect of Fermentation Cocoa Processing and Non Fermentation on The Quality and Pricing Products on Tunjung Sari Unit Produktive in Tabanan District The purpose of this study was to determine influence how a cocoa processing fermented and non fermented on the quality and price of the product and to determine constraints face on Tunjung Sari Unit Produktif in the processing of fermented and non-fermented cocoa on product quality and price. The method use  observation, interviews and literature study to record relevant information. then analyzed with descriptive and qualitative analysis. The results showed that the method of processing cocoa enough to affect the quality and price of products on Tunjung Sari unit Produktif. Processing cocoa bean fermentation yield account (number of seeds) 120 seeds per hundred grams while non fermented bean seeds acount 118 percent gram, fermented cocoa color to blackish brown in color while the non fermented brown light, aroma of cocoa beans have a distinctive fermentation processing chocolate aroma while the non-fermentation processing does not have a distinctive smell like chocolate, slaty (purple beans) fermented cocoa maximum of 3-5%, while the non-fermented seeds no slaty (purple beans) slaty occur due to the fermentation process less than three days, in the form of fermentation of cocoa beans has a texture that is hollow while the non-textured solid fermentation, the level of moisture content of cocoa beans fermented 7% and 7.5% non-fermented and fermented cocoa beans price of Rp 19.500/kg while non fermented Rp 17.000/kg. Abstract

ABSTRACT Analysis of Rice Supplies in Public Corporation BULOG Regional Division of Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) Rice is the basic requirements that must be met for humans at all times. BULOG as State Owned Enterprises have a primary duty, which is to undertake logistic staple food quality and maintain food stability. The purpose of this study are to (1) determine rice procurement in BULOG NTT, (2) analyze the inventory system of rice by BULOG NTT focused on the economic order quantity (EOQ), minimum stock, maximum stock, and reorder point, (3) the efficiency cost of rice supplies by BULOG NTT which focused on the actual inventory cost effective inventory costs. The method of analysis used in this experiment is a quantitative and qualitative analysis. The study was conducted at BULOG NTT, which is located on Jl. Palapa No 14 Oebobo, Kupang, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Rice purchasing by BULOG NTT started by making a procurement contract with the contractor. The study found that the economical rice booking is 816,65 ton for once, while the amount of safety stock that must be held by BULOG NTT is 35.731,71 ton and maximum inventory that can be managed is 42.813,65 ton. The total cost incurred by rice supplies by BULOG NTT in 2011 was Rp 664.785.013,15 while the analysis of the optimal inventory control cost of Rp 661.160.200,24. So there is the cost efficiency of Rp 3.624.813,01.   Keyword: economic order quantity, BULOG, rice procurement

Abstract

ABSTRACT Financial Analysis of Cattle Production in the Cooperative Integrated Agribusiness in Subak Guama Tabanan Regency The prospects of entrepreneur in  Bali every year  is very bright since there is an increase demand for beef Bali. The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of Bali cattle managed by cooperatives Subak Guama financially and to identify the constraints faced in implementing  cattle fattening. The choice of location in this study using purposive sampling method on feedlot Balinese. Once all the required data collected, then analyzed using investment criteria are: NPV, Net B / C Ratio, IRR and sensitivity analysis. The study found that NPV = 13.115.654,93; B/C Ratio = 1,10; IRR = 2.667.924,53 and Sensitivity Analysis found that  NPV = 7.815.750,31; BC Ratio = 1,05; IRR = 1.355.283,00 if the total cost increase. NPV = -22.677.658,61; BC Ratio = 0,77; IRR = -6.128.301,89 if the gross benefit decrease. The problem faced economic problem and social problem. With the establishment of  the Cooperatives there is  a positive impact for the community Batannyuh village, such as  the number of people who become employees of the Cooperative, and avoiding farmers from debt bondage system, which allows farmers to sell their crops to the Cooperatives, there by increasing farmers income. Efforts can be made ??by  the cooperatives to increase livestock production by seeking manufacturing cows themselves that the cost of purchasing the seeds can be saved. In addition, to increase the income of farmers, the farmer should grow their own forage,so that production costs could be minimized. Keywords : financial, production, agribusiness

Abstract

Abstract Organic Vegetable Marketing Management (A Case Study in P4S Eka Setia Lestari at the Bangli Village, Sub-District of Baturiti, Regency of Tabanan). This study aimed to determine the organic vegetable marketing management, from the aspect of the marketing mix and the constraints faced by the P4S Eka Setia Lestari in Bangli village, Baturiti Sub-District, Tabanan. The choice of location of the research was conducted by the purposive method, with the consideration that this group has obtained organic certification from LeSOS. The data in this study were obtained through a survey to the members of P4S Eka Setia Lestari and in-depth interviews with key informants. The analysis in this study was a qualitative descriptive method with emphasis on planning, implementation, marketing management, and supervision. P4S Eka Setia Lestari produces 21 kinds of vegetables. Marketing channels used were the direct marketing to consumers. Promotion was conducted by advertising. Constraints faced in the implementation of the current marketing management from the aspect of the product, was still facing obstacles namely it still depends on customer orders, production processes which require more time, so difficult to get a customer because organic more expensive, the obstacles encountered were the lack of an effective lines to send the product to the consumer, the constraints faced were the lack of use of technologies such as the internet and the limited budget in organizing exhibitions independently as well as promoting the organic vegetable products through mass media. Abstract

Abstract Analysis of Marketing System Strawberry on Koptan Bali Buyan Berry in the Village of Pancasari District Buleleng The study aims to determine of the function, structure, conduct and the performance of the market. Data used in this study is qualitative data and quantitative data, the data obtained and analyzed. The results showed on the functioning of the market there are three functions, namely market exchange, physical and facilities. Total of marketing agencies that are in the market structure as much as 1 merchant wholesalers, traders inter-city, inter-island trader and 4 retailers. Pricing in the study  by bargaining and how to pay the monthly farmers with cash, the inter-city merchant cash once a month, on the inter-island trader bimonthly cash and at retailers with cash paid on the spot. The performance of the market and the marketing margin is calculated with the farmers share. At first marketing channel marketing margin is IDR 12,000 to the farmers share of 53.84%, the second marketing channel marketing margin is IDR 14,000 to the farmers share of 50% and the third marketing channel marketing margin of IDR 17,250 to the farmers share of 44.48%. Farmers should sell strawberries not only to the marketing agencies that already have the attachment of cooperation in order to obtain a higher sales price.   Abstract Analysis of Promotion Mix Kopi Luwak at UD Cipta Lestari Pujungan Village Subdistrict Pupuan Tabanan Coffee is a kind of beverage derived from the coffee bean processing plants. Coffee classified into the genus Coffea Rubiaceae family. There are three known types of coffee plants in Indonesia including arabic coffee, robusta coffee and coffee Liberika. One of the products processed coffee produced and considered to have a huge business potential in Indonesia even in the world is the civet coffee. Kopi Luwak coffee is produced from the fermentation process through the stomach mongoose or weasel that eats ripe coffee cherries are then removed in the form of feces. This study aims to determine the promotional mix of civet coffee conducted by UD. Cipta Lestari which includes advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations, and direct sales as well as to determine what the obstacles faced by the company in the application of the promotional mix. Methods of data collection in this study using observation, interviews, documentation and literature. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that the company has already carried out promotions through all the variables of the promotional mix includes advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations, and direct marketing as well as the obstacles faced by companies in the application of the promotional mix namely obstacles on promotional costs and shortages of raw materials. Abstract

ABSTRACT Inventory Control Of Raw Material Of Salt Coarse In UD. Petasikan Pesanggaran, South Denpasar Raw material is one the most important factors in the production process, therefore, the inventory of the raw material demands to be controlled, in order not only to avoid surplus and/or deficiency of the raw material but also to make the total inventory cost more efficient. The research is conducted in UD. Petasikan Pesanggaran, South Denpasar with a view to know the production process of fine salt in the company, to analyze the inventory of the raw material and the total of efficient inventory cost. The research makes use of descriptive quantitative method. The result of the research shows that: 1) the company should have gained the total economic order quantity (EOQ) as much as 101.04 tons per one-time booking; 2) the company should have kept at least 7.04 tons of the total safety stock; 3) the company should have done reordering (reorder point) when the total basic commodity reached 14.08 tons, and 4) the company should have gained the total of maximum inventory as much as 108.08 tons. Based on the analysis of the efficient supply of raw material, the researcher knows that the total inventory costs need to be incurred by the company during the period amounted               Rp. 6,375,460.46 resulting in saving of Rp. 2,332,739.54 or as much as 26,79 % of production cost. In  conclusion, the use of economic order quantity (EOQ) method continuously is considerably very beneficial for the company because it can determine the total purchase of raw material economically and reduce the excessive inventory cost. Abstract

Abstract Community Preference in Buying Oranges in Denpasar City, Bali Orange is one of the fruits that are often consumed by people. There are various types of local and import oranges in the market. In determining the choice or making decisions in product selection, every consumer are affected by preference. Preference is the tendency of consumer to choose one product rather than other products. Factors that are affecting consumer preferences in buying oranges are orange’s quality, social aspects, economic aspects, motivation, and continuity.The study conclude that the community preference in buying oranges in Denpasar city can be classified as a lot (7,105). The primary factor that has the greatest role is orange’s quality (19,05%), and social aspect (14,73%) has the lowest against the role of community preferences in buying oranges in Denpasar city. Secondary factor that have the greatest role ini community preferences in buying oranges are orange’s flavor (7,26%), and the lowest role of secondary factor is public knowledge regarding oranges (4,80%).
