Abstract

Salah satu kendala utama pelaksanaan perkuliahan fisika umum di Universitas Papua adalah kurangnya sarana dan prasarana pelaksanan praktikum terutama pada materi fisika yang abstrak seperti materi fisika modern. Salah satu strategi yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi hal tersebut adalah menerapkan pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media Laboratorium Virtual (Lab-Vir) melalui kegaiatan Lesson Study. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran melalui penerapan PBL berbantuan media Lab-Vir melalui kegiatan Lesson Study pada mata kuliah fisika umum di Universitas Papua. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif melalui tahapan kegiatan Lesson Study. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi langsung, wawancara, dan rekaman video selama open class berlangsung. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Kegiatan Lesson Study meliputi tiga tahap rangkaian kegiatan siklus yaitu Perencanaan (Plan), Pelaksanaan (Do), dan Refleksi (See). Dalam tahap Plan dilakukan diskusi bersama dengan tim dosen untuk mengembangkan Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS), Chapter Disign, dan Lesson Plan. Pada tahapan Do dilakukan pembelajaran oleh dosen model berdasar RPS yang telah disusun. Dalam tahapan See dilakukan refleksi untuk mengkaji pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan oleh dosen model guna mengungkap kelemahan dan kelebihan untuk ditindak lanjuti pada pembelajaran selanjutnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas, kerjasama, dan hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran meningkat serta suasana pembelajaran menjadi lebih hidup. Olehnya itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui pembelajaran PBL berbantuan media Lab-Vir melalui kegiatan Lesson Study dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran mata kuliah fisika umum dibanding sebelumnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan mendiskripsikan hasil belajar dan mengukur perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar kognitif antara peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing dengan menggunakan model konvensional di SMP PGRI Salawati Kabupaten Sorong. Penelitian kuasi eksperimen ini menggunakan The Matching Only Posttest Control Group Design dengan dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes kognitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata tes hasil belajar kognitif pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 63,58, sedangkan kelas kontrol 51,79. Hasil pengolahan data menggunakan Independent Sample t-test, dengan signifikansi α = 5% diperoleh thitung = 4,160. Nilai ttabel=1,677 sehingga thitung > ttabel yang berarti H0 ditolak sehingga disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar kognitif antara kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui aktivitas dan persepsi peserta didik yang diajar dengan pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium virtual pada materi Fisika Modern. Jenis penelitian adalah pra-eksperimen, dan sampel populasi berupa peserta didik kelas XII IPA SMA Tut Wuri Handayani, Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan, sebanyak 14 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran berada di atas 80% dari setiap kriteria yaitu memperhatikan demonstrasi, mencari konsep, melakukan perhitungan, latihan, mengkategorikan, menjelaskan konsep, mempresentasikan, dan mengkreasikan proses. Persentase persepsi peserta didik adalah 91,03%, yang menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik sangat setuju terhadap pembelajaran yang dilakukan.

Abstract

Abstract. A research has been conducted to develop media and physics learning device of Modern Physics based on virtual laboratory. Paradigm of 21st century learning and the curriculum 2013. Subject is class XII IPA SMA Tut Wuri Handayani Makassar at academic year 2013/2014. The development procedure followed the four-D models. Results showed (1) virtual laboratory were valid and reliable; (2) learning tools in the form of Lesson Plan, Students Textbook, and Students Worksheet, (3) activity learners above 80%, of the activity of each criterion are: observing , asking , try/collect data , associate , and communicate. This indicating that learning was able to activate the learners. (4) The percentage of learners perceptions above 90% indicates very amenable to learning is done. Activities and perceptions of learners shows that media-based learning virtual laboratory practical and effective. Key words: Activities, Curriculum 2013, Virtual Laboratory, and Perception

Abstract

Abstract.This study aims to determine the activities and learning outcomes of students who are taught by a model of cooperative STAD using CTL approach on dynamic electrical material. The type of pre-experimental study with a sample of the population are students of class XI SMAN Tugumulyo of 40 people. Results showed activity learners during the learning process gained an average of 82.1% which is at the very good category on several criteria according to which the CTL component modeling, inquiry, constructivism, questioning, learning community, authenticassessment and reflection. On average cognitive achievement of students is 72.6, affective (character behavior) 61.7 (good), psychomotor 85.7 (very good).Thus, after following the dynamic electrical material of learning STAD cooperative models using CTL approach to the integration of the values of character, the study of students on cognitive and psychomotor have achieved mastery and affective well in both categories, as well as the behavior of characters includes discipline, hard work, independent, curious, honest, and cooperate seen increased in every lesson. Abstract

Research was conducted to determine whether there is 1) the relationship between the state of the family of learning achievement, 2) the relationship between the state schools of learning achievement, 3) the relationship between communities of learning achievement, and 4) the relationship between the state of the family, school and community environment against learning achievement. This research is associative quantitative correlational analysis techniques. The results showed: 1) There is a positive relationship between the state of the family of learning achievement, the result of the calculation shows r table> count r ie 0.51 > 0.38, 2) There is a positive relationship between the state schools of learning achievement, the result of the calculation shows r count> r table is 0.39 > 0.38, 3) There is a positive relationship between communities of learning achievement, it is shown from the results of calculations, the count r> r table is 0.51 > 0.38, and 4) There is a positive relationship between the state of the family, school and community environment on achievement study, it was shown from the calculation, the concordance coefficient 0,95 and the value of significance (p) of 0,00 <0.05.

Abstract

  Abstract. Has conducted research on the development of interactive multimedia-based learning tools with the aim to determine the validity, the practicalities and the effectiveness of the learning device physics-based interactive multimedia on the matter waves. Stages of development using the 4D model is modified into 3D, namely define (defining), design (planning), and development (development). Results of the validity of the learning device physics-based interactive multimedia in the category is valid, the result of calculation CVI which is in the range of 0-1 and r 11 larger than r table, so it can be said to be reliable. The results of questionnaire analysis perception of students obtained a percentage of 78.6% results of the analysis are in very good category. Results of the analysis of the activity of the students obtained a percentage of 87.3% results of the analysis are in very good category. So it can be said that the physics-based learning tool developed interactive multimedia valid, reliable, practical and effective to use. Abstract

Abstrak. Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) adalah salah satu keterampilan penting dalam praktikum untuk memahami proses ilmiah dan materi pelajaran sains. Nilai praktikum mahasiswa yang memprogram mata kuliah fisika dasar di Universitas Papua pada umumnya dalam kategori rendah. Nilai rendah dapat dikaitkan dengan rendahnya KPS mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain One-Shot Case Study yaitu menerapkan media laboratorium virtual (Lab-Vir) dalam pembelajaran, selanjutnya mengukur KPS mahasiswa berdasarkan soal KPS yang diberikan pada akhir pembelajaran. Purposive sample digunakan untuk memilih kelas jurusan pendidikan fisika dan matematika yang memprogram mata kuliah fisika dasar yaitu berjumlah 35 orang. KPS mahasisnya yang diukur meliputi mengidentifikasi variabel, mengungkapkan pengertian variabel, menginterpretasi data, mengklasifikasi data, menghubungkan antar data, memformulasikan model, menarik kesimpulan, dan menyatakan praduga sementara. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa KPS mahasiswa secara keseluruhan 70,9 ± SD 11,6 atau berada dalam kategori baik.Kata Kunci: Lab-Vir dan KPS

Abstract

  Abstract. This study aims to determine the application of guided discovery model of learning to cognitive learning outcomes and measure significant differences between the cognitive learning using guided discovery learning models with conventional learning model students in SMPN 13 Prafi. This quasi-experimental research using the Matching Only Posttest Control Group Design involving class VII B as experimental class and class VII C as the control class. The sampling technique was done by purposive sampling. The experimental classes using guided discovery learning while the control class using the learning that has been used in schools, namely direct instruction. The research instrument used tests of cognitive diagnosis. The results showed that the average cognitive achievement test conducted at the end of the experimental class learning at 61.74, while the control class 52.79. This shows that the application of guided discovery learning model further enhances cognitive learning outcomes of students in SMPN 13 Prafi. In line with the results of data processing using independent sample t-test, with significance level α = 5% was obtained tcount = 2.338. t table 1.687 is known so t count> t table which means that H 0 is rejected. This shows that there are significant differences cognitive learning outcomes of students between the control class and the experimental class. Learning physics by using a model of guided discovery learning can help students to discover and develop its own facts and concepts and facilitate learners in the learning process so as to improve the cognitive abilities of physics. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran fisika berbasis media laboratorium virtual, Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS), dan persepsi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah fisika dasar. Metode penelitian menggunakan pre-eksperimental design dan teknik purposive sample digunakan untuk memilih sampel yaitu kelas pendidikan fisika dan pendidikan matematika Universitas Papua. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini yaitu lembar observasi dan penilaian KPS serta angket persepsi mahasiswa yang dinilai di akhir pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase KPS yang diobservasi selama perkuliahan 86,4% ± SD 12,7 meliputi aspek keterampilan menggunakan alat, mengambil data, dan mengkomunikasikan hasil kegiatan. KPS berdasarkan hasil analisis lembar kerja mahasiswa diperoleh 77,5% ± SD 5,9 meliputi keterampilan merumuskan masalah, menyatakan praduga sementara, mengidentifikasi variabel, mengungkapkan pengertian variabel, mengklasifikasi data, menginterpretasikan data, memformulasikan model, menghubungkan antar data, dan menarik kesimpulan. KPS keseluruhan yaitu 81,95% atau kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan persepsi mahasiswa yaitu 78,53% ± SD 4,9 menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa sangat setuju terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan.This study aims to determine the learning application of physics based virtual laboratory, Science Process Skills (SPS), and the perception of students on basic physics course. The research method using pre-experimental design and purposive sample technique used to select sample of physics and mathematics education classes at the University of Papua. Instruments in this research are observation sheet and SPS assessment and student perception questionnaire which assessed at the end of learning. The results showed the percentage of SPS were observed during the lecture 86.4% ± SD 12.7 covering aspects of skills using the tool, retrieve data, and communicate the results of activities. SPS is based on the analysis worksheet students obtained 77.5% ± SD 5.9 includes the skills to formulate the problem, stating the presumption whilst, identifying variables, expressing understanding of variables, classifying the data, interpret the data, formulate a model, linking between data and draw conclusions. SPS students is 81.95% or category very well. While the perception of students that is 78.53% ± SD 4.9 indicates that the student could not agree on the learning undertaken.
