Abstract

This paper discusses about harmonic characteristics due to different types of voltage sources. Usually, the voltage source is sinusoidal. But in actual condition the load that receive voltage sources through the elements where the output voltage of element as input to the load is not pure sinusoidal, for example voltage source at  (PCC) between transformer and linear load and nonlinear load. This research has been done with Schhafner Power Quality Analyzer and PM300 Power Quality Analyzer, was focused to all harmonic characteristics as power, voltage, current, power factor (p.f.), Harmonic Distortion, and harmonic energy losses cost. The load is Induction Motor with Adjustable Speed Drive (ASD) because the Induction Motor with Adjustable Speed Drive (ASD) is one of electronic device causes harmonics. The voltage sources in this research are sine wave, square wave and harmonic order combinations of 3rd, 5th and 7th which can create from Schhafner Power Quality Analyzer.

Abstract

Abstract

Market coal briquette compartment in Indonesia is estimated still big enough,considering kerosene and firewood which was usually used as small industrialand rural household sector fuel progressively scarce and costly if without subsidy.Coal briquette of lignit made of low rank coal without carbonization process and without binder, so that can become alternative fuel which is competitif, safe, efficient and environmental friendliness. Volatile matter content can be decreased by using special design of stove to burn it by fire tongue on the surface of stove to yield completely combustion. Continueing usage of coal briquette as alternative fuel substitution of kerosene and or firewood especially in rural, can be conducted by given system and sustanable supply  guarantee, quality improvement, economical charcoal burner device of the environmental friendly, efficiently and routine promotion activities.

Abstract

Penggunaan peralihan sensor infrared (IR) pada motor adalah sebuah aplikasi yang umum digunakan dalam industri, antara lain untuk mengontrol motor dan kecepatan hidup dan mati. Sistem ini terdiri dari sensor infra merah yang dirancang dan berfungsi untuk mendeteksi posisi dan kecepatan motor, Sensor adalah sebuah komponen yang terdiri dari pemancar infra merah dan output logika transistor photo dalam bentuk pulsa yang terhubung ke mikrokontroler, mikrokontrolel yang digunakan adalah jenis AT-89551 yang berfungsi sebagai prosessor atau sistem kontrol adalah dengan cara membaca sensor dan kontrol kecepatan motor dengan switching pulsa. Untuk mengendalikan motor, sistem juga dilengkapi dengan rangkaian driver yang berfungsi untuk memperkuat aliran agar dapat menjalankan motor, komponen yang digumakan dalam rangkaian ini adalah mosfet IRF- Z 3205

Abstract

This research was aimed at identifying and describing kinds of sea grass on Laguna Tasilaha Waterworks, and producing Biology instructional media in the form of a guided book used in conducting instruction.This research was carried out on Laguna Tasilaha Waterworks, Banawa Selatan Sub-district, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. Using survey method with tehniques crossing. Futhermore, the result of this research will be developed to learning instrument. Seagrass taken by using plot that placed purposively. The research result has identified that there were six kinds of the sea grass based on two family groups. The first group was Hydrocharitaceae consisting of Enhalus acoroides, Thalassia hemprichii, and Halophia ovalis. The second group, on the other hand, was Potamegetonaceae comprising Cymodocea rotundata, C. serrulata, and Halodule uninervis. The development result produced the pocketbook. It was validated by 88.40% content, design, and media expert, 81.03% educator assessment, 83.26% small group assessment,  and 91.74% large group assessment. Therefore, the average percentage was 86%. If it was converted into the eligibility criteri, it was eligible and can be used as Biology instructional media.

Abstract

Penyulang tegangan menengah adalah sarana untuk pendistribusian tenaga listrik dari gardu induk ke konsumen. Tetapi dalam kenyataannya penyulang tersebut sering mengalami gangguan, diantaranya adalah gangguan hubung singkat. Oleh karena itu untuk melokalisasi gangguan tersebut diperlukan sistemproteksi yang memenuhi persyaratan sensitvfitas, keandalan, selektivitas dan kecepatan, yang semuanya bergantung pada ketepatan setting peralatan proteksinya. Peralatan proteksi yang biasa digunakan untuk penyulang teganganmenengah adalah relai arus lebih (Over Current Relay) dan relai gangguan tanah (Ground Fault Relay), yaitu relai yang berfungsi mengintruksikan pemutus tenaga untuk membuka, sehingga saluran udara tegangan menengah/ saluran kabel tegangan menengah yang terganggu dipisahkan dari jaringan. Pada Skripsi ini akan dibahas tentang perbandingan antara setting relai proteksi hasil perhitungan dengan setting proteksi yang terpasang pada penyulang LM5 di Gardu Induk Lamhotma.

Abstract

Disajikan sebuah metoda untuk penyelesaian aliran daya dengan model eliminasi bus-bus beban sistem tenaga lisrik untuk kondisi beban statis. Mula-mula system beban dimodelkan dengan menambahkan konstanta eksponensial model daya aktif dan daya reaktif, selanjutnya direfleksikan dalam matrik admittansi bus, selanjutnya mengeliminasi bus-bus beban. Model yang diperoleh merupakan model yang telah direduksi dengan orde matrik sama dengan jumlah bus generator, variable – variable dari model reduksi ini hanya sudut tegangan bus generator dan dihitung dengan metoda Newton-Raphson, sedangkan sudut tegangan dan tegangan bus-bus beban dihitung dengan metoda-metoda langsung. Teknik Pemodelan dengan pengeliminasian bus-bus beban ini diterapkan pada system tenaga IEEE 14 bus 20 saluran, 30 bus 41 salurandan 57 bus 80 saluran dengan model konstanta eksponensial yang bervariasi. Hasil penyelesaian penerapan metoda ini terbukti lebih cepat 20.18 % dibandingkan dengan metoda Newton-Raphson konvensional.

Abstract

Telaah surfaktan untuk proses enhanced oil recovery (EOR) dan profil adsorpsi surfaktan a-Olefin Sulfonates (AOS) telah dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis surfaktan yang dapat digunakan untuk proses enhanced oil recovery (EOR) dan mengetahui profil adsorpsi surfaktan. Penelitian ini terbagi 2 tahap, yaitu tahap pertama adalah screening surfaktan, tahap kedua adalah adsorpsi surfaktan dalam batuan sandstone dan limestone. Screening surfaktan yang dilakukan, meliputi: uji pelarutan di mana surfaktan dilarutkan dalam akuades. Uji compatibility di mana surfaktan dilarutkan dalam air dan formasinya diamati selama 3 hari. Uji thermal stability di mana surfaktan yang lolos compatibility dipanaskan 80°C selama 8 minggu. Adsorpsi surfaktan dilakukan di dalam batuan sandstone (batu pasir silika), pasir bangka, pasir malang dan limestone (batu kapur). Batuan direndam selama 168 jam dalam larutan surfaktan S24 (a-Olefin Sulfonates) 0,6%; 1,2%; 1,8%, disaring kemudian disentrifuge dan diukur absorbansinya dengan spektroskopi UV-Vis. Surfaktan AOS 0,6% dalam batu pasir silika dan surfaktan AOS 1,8% dalam pasir malang tidak teradsorpsi, sehingga cocok untuk proses enhanced oil recovery (EOR).
