Data was collected through interview and questionaires were distributed to 100 respondents and was analyzed with SPSS for windows. The conclusions were simultaneously significant effect on differentiation strategy by the value of costumer’s satisfaction 67,89%, F test was 28,4265 and sig. 000, but partially only one ariable that had most dominant variable that can give more influence to increase the costumer’s satisfaction, that was reputation in image differentiation of company, the value of test was 8,694 and sig. 000.

Survey and interview technique were implemented among 100 samples. Data was analyzed by using both one way anova test and structural equation modeling. The result indicated that  business climate, development and training, business technology had a positive influence toward the competitive advantage strategy and business self reliance. Competitive advantage strategy had a positive influence toward the business self reliance and business progress, and business progress had a positive influence toward the business continuity. Abstract

The production of glycerol from biodiesel by-product that was obtained from waste cooking oil has low purity. This crude glycerol contains impurities such as methanol, catalyst, soap and water. Analysis result shows that crude glycerol contains 67.7% water, 16.7% ash with density 1.1217 g/mL. The impurities were able to be adsorbed using bentonite which was activated in sulphuric acids 1.5 M and characterized by SEM-EDX. The purified glycerol after being treated with bentonite at 60 C for 75 minutes was fulfilled The SNI 06-1564-1995 requirement i.e. 89.5% glycerol, 4.3% water, 3.6% ash and density 1.2212 g/mL. From the experiment can be concluded the activated bentonite showed a capacity in adsorbing and removing impurities in waste cooking oil.
