Abstract

Technology improvement the same as periode improvement, especialy mechanical will relevance with several equipment, mechanical contruction etc, from planning, production, assembling arrave operation, maintenance and repairs. In planning process will depand on worked mechanisme but also materials every component spare parts. For it need enough vission about absolute need of materials. Every metal always have mechanisne of charactheristic i.e performance for receive loads of worked, i.e. static or dinamic loads. Static work means permanent loads or domain every time. Dinamic loads means big loads with domains various and depand on time. The research used low carbon steel ST 37 result SMAW with RB 26 SMAW electrode with tensile test, showed it, weld processed very correlation to tensile test result experiment. The best weld correlation to strenght of materials. And the bad weld result correlation with bad weld result.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to fulfill certain tools aids in making cerosine stove components. It hoped this research can force the improvement  of both quantity and quality for the products that are manufactured by domestic industries, espesially the cerosine stove manufacturers. Solution which is choosen for this purpose is by creating a new contruction of simple press tool with excentric system applying human resources as the main generating power.

Abstract

Jumlah penduduk Indonesia semakin meningkat dan tentunya membutuhkan bahan bangunan untuk kebutuhan perumahannya. Bahan bangunan yang dibutuhkan sebahagian diproduksi oleh industri kecil atau rumahan. Salah satu bahan bangunan yang diproduksi adalah batu bata. Pada saat ini kebutuhan terhadap produk batu bata sangat meningkat, untuk itu perlu adanya dukungan dalam bentuk ketersediaan suatu mesin yang dapat meningkatkan produktivitas sejalan sejalan dengan peningkatan kebutuhannya. System ekstrusi yang digunakan dalam mesin pencetak batu bata dapat meningkatkan produktivitas industri kecil batu bata untuk menjawab kebutuhan pasar bahan bangunan.

Abstract

The better performance of hard machining comparing to grinding operation for machining process of manufacturing product id the background of research reported in this paper. This research is focused on producing the mathematical formulation for tool life (Tc) and volume of material removal (Qc) in which both formulations are derived base on the extended taylor formula. Moreover both performances are used to determine the optimum cutting condition using ginting and nouari (2006) method. The AISI 01 steel which was hardened up t 60 HRC is the work piece inthis research where as the ceramic made of  + tic is use as cutting tool. The data collection was done by factorial  And the data analyzed by multi linear regression method. The result of research shows that optimum cutting condition at 95 m/min cutting speed, 0.09 m/rev feeding, and 0.25 mm depth of cut. Furthermore from the curved which correlating three parameters V-Tc-MRR plotted base on ginting and nouari (2006) method shows that high speed machining can not be recomended on hard machining under dry environment . From all aspect resulted from this research it can be concluded that dry machining can be carried out on hard turning of AISI 01 steel using ceramic cutting tool made  + tic.

Abstract

Turning hardened tool steel using ceramic cutting tool can make advantages over traditional process use grinder. It is can increased productivity and reduced power consumption and can use without coolant. The aim of these studies is to define optimum cutting condition using response surface method (RSM). This study use ceramic tool Al2O3 + TiC (CC650) with specimen AISI O1 heat treated to harness of 60 HRC and use CNC turn for machining. Measurement of flank wear use microscope and helped commercial software. Result these study are Optimum cutting condition is 95 m/min cutting speed (V), 0.09 feeding (f). And 0.25 mm dept of cut (a). And it is not recommendation use for high speed machining.

Abstract

Measurement of roughness use Portable Surface Roughness Tester SJ-201 P/M. Result these study are: The smallest roughness is 0 53 μm, at 84 m/min cutting speed (V), 0,045 Rot./min feeding (f), and 0.35 mm dept of cut (a).
