Abstract

Abstract

Motor development in humans will continue to evolve from the womb to adult hood. Daily activities undertaken will increasingly severe and complex in each phase of development. The balance is a major componentin maintaining the posture of the human body to be able to straight and maintain body position. Musculoskeletal system plays an important role in maintaining the balance of the human body. Physical activity can lead to lack optimal anstatic equilibrium. The study wasaimed at Training Combination of Core Stability Exercise and Ankle Strategy Exercisedid not Increas of Core Stability Exercise For Static Balance on Students S1 Physiotherapy StikesAisyiyah Yogyakarta. This study is an experimental study with Randomized Pre and Post Test Control Group Design. Samples in this study were 16 students StikesAisyiyah Yogyakarta which will face semester4 of physical fitness lab and research time for 6 weeks. Divided in to two groups, group-1(core stability exercise) and group-2 (combination of corestability exercises and ankle strategy). Measurement instrument used is functional reach test are measured before treatment(0-session) and after treatment (18-session) on each subject. The result savailable in this study descriptive data samplein both groups; age20-22years, male gender and female, height 149-170 cm and weigh37-78kg. The results test stated static balance data group-1 p = 0,000 and group-2 p =0,025. Data before and after treatment 1 group-normal distribution. Then the data before and after the treatment group-2 normal distribution. Based on the compatibility test both variables in both groups, the test of hypothesis using data afte rtreatment. Variable static balance in the two groups using hypothesis independent sampel t-test p value=0,626. The conclusions available p values??>0,05. This value explained Training Combination of Core Stability Exercise and Ankle Strategy Exercise did not Increas Static Balance Of Core Stability Exercise On Students S1 Physiotherapy StikesAisyiyah Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Women at Air Sugihan are unique. They are able to sustain life under harsh natural conditions. Red swamp water, uncultivated peat lands, ashes from the burned forest as a result of simple and cheap land clearing techniques; as well as debt bondage as a cash-advanced to finance the farm-production activities which then aggravated their SRHR (sexual and reproductive health and rights), substantive health care and access to nutrition. This makes women at Air Sugihan struggled within harsh nature condition for the survival of their families for the sake of food security and for sustainable nature and environmental conservation. Starting from very limited experience to live in harsh condition, women reduce the family burden of living in poverty by sustaining water, land and family-economy.

The main factors that contribute in post harvest processing of medicinal plants is a drying method. Drying is the most important step to keep the compound stability in simplisia especially the compounds that have antioxidant activity. The objective of this research is to know the effect of drying method in gaining of antioxidant activity extract methanol Pandanus amaryllifolius leaves. The drying methods tested were oven-drying at 40ºC, direct sunlight-drying (SML), indirect sunlight-drying (SMTL), air-drying at ±25ºC (KA) and fresh samples without drying as control. In the result of analysis with Kruskall-Wallis test show that the drying method of simplisia can influence significantly of percent inhibition extract methanol Pandanus amaryllifolius leaves against DPPH, the highest percent inhibition were by oven-drying of 64,553%, then followed on samples dried with SML, SMTL, KA and fresh samples respectively of 61,73; 58,81; 56,14 dan 55,13%. Drying method of simplisia can influence antioxidant activity extract methanol Pandanus amaryllifolius, which the optimal drying for the samples were dried in ovenKey Words : Antioxidant, Pandanus amaryllifolius, drying methods, DPPH.ABSTRAKPengolahan pasca panen tanaman dapat menentukan kualitas bahan baku tanaman obat.

Abstract

In this article, we discuss how far EFL textbooks used as teaching materials for second grade students in senior high schools in Poso regency, Central Sulawesi province, accommodate critical thinking skill in the textbook?s reading comprehension section. The assumption underlying this discussion is that an ideal EFL textbook is supposed to meet the needs to accommodate critical thinking skill as one of the required skills in the 21st century. In doing so, Revised Bloom?s Taxonomy and four levels of comprehension were used to examine the questions level and which level of reading comprehension each question falls into. The sources of data were two commercially published and one government-published EFL textbooks. The discussion in this paper leads to which EFL textbook accommodates critical thinking skill in the form of WH questions in its reading comprehension section.
