Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve students learning behavior in learning geography with the type of cooperative learning teams-games-tournaments (TGT).This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in SMA Negeri 2 Tumijajar Bone Western Onion collaborative and participatory. The subjects in this study were all students of class XI IPS 3 in SMAN 2 Tumijajar totaling 27 students. The object of this research is to improve students learning behavior in learning geography with type TGT cooperative learning teams-games-tournaments, which consisted of the presentation of the class, group learning, games, tournament, and awards groups. Religious studies is a class XI IPS 3 SMAN 2 Tumijajar Margomulyo village, subdistrict Tumijajar Bone WesternOnion. The study was conducted in three cycles and each cycle consisted of three meetings.Results showed changes in students learning behavior in learning geography by learning models kooperatis TGT type that has been pursued through the planning stages (planning),action (acting), observation (observing), and reflection (reflecting) and revision. Results showed that behavioral changes learned at each cycle. Changes in student learningbehavior, (1) attention, active learning, (2) independent in learning, (3) interacting in the classroom, (4) actively participate in learning activities, (5) a relevant answer to thequestion, (6) rapid response to environmental conditions.Keywords: cooperative learning type TGT, improving learning behavior, learning geography

Abstract

This research purpose to describe the distribution and needs of high school geography teacher in District Pringsewu that presented in map form. This research used a descriptive method. Data was collected by interview and documentation. Data analysis by using a map, calculations using formulas and data description. The results in this research are: (1) High School Geography Teacher Distribution Map Per Subdistrict in Pringsewu,distribution geography teacher is unprevalent in some subdistrict(2) Factors that affect distribution of high school geography teachers is personnel certificate of the Government,accessibilityand travelled distance, jobs vacancy (3) Relevance of educational background of high school geography teacher has relevant percentage is 85.18% (as appropriate) and 14.81% irrelevant (not appropriate) (4) Needs for high school geography teacher in District Pringsewu, there is a gap between number of teachers with a number of requirements that must be released.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikansebaran dan kebutuhan guru geografi SMA di Kabupaten Pringsewu yang disajikan dalam bentuk peta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yaitu dengan  menggunakan peta, perhitungan menggunakan rumus dan deskripsi data. Hasil dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Peta Sebaran guru geografi SMA per wilayah Kecamatan di Kabupaten Pringsewu,sebaran guru geografi masih belum merata di beberapa wilayah Kecamatan (2) Faktor yang memengaruhi sebaran guru geografi SMAyaitu SK (Surat Keterangan) kepegawaian dari Pemerintah, keterjangkauandan jarak tempuh sertalowongan pekerjaanguru geografi (3) Relevansi latar belakang pendidikan guru geografi SMAmemiliki presentase yaitu 85,18% relevan (sesuai) dan 14,81% tidak relevan (tidak sesuai) (4) Kebutuhan guru geografi SMA di Kabupaten Pringsewu, ada kesenjangan antara jumlah guru yang ada dengan jumlah kebutuhan yang harus dipenuhi.Kata kunci : kebutuhan guru, peta, sebaran guru.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the efforts of the needs fulfillment on fishermen families in the maja village kalianda. The pressure point of study is one the number of dependents, basic income, employment, family members contributions, BLT contributions fuel , and the level of the fulfillment of minimum family basic needs .The research uses a method of descriptive with the number of respondents are 31 fishing families. Data collection by observation techniques , interviews and structured documentation .Data analysis by the tabulation of the frequency and the percentage .The research results show: 31 families has 5 the average family members, a fisherman who having a side job their incomes increase 18,51%, a fisherman who received a donation a member of the family their incomes increase 14,53%, fishermen who receives the blt bbm their incomes increase 11,51%, the income out of basic work had an impact with increasing fishermen income families as much as 12,21%, and as many as 19 kk the fulfillment of basic needs his family not met.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji Upaya Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Keluarga Nelayan di Desa Maja Kecamatan Kalianda Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Titik tekan kajiannya pada jumlah tanggungan, pendapatan pokok, pekerjaan sampingan, sumbangan anggota keluarga, sumbangan BLT BBM, dan tingkat pemenuhan kebutuhan pokok minimum keluarga. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan jumlah responden 31 KK nelayan. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi, wawancara terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan tabulasi frekuensi dan presentase.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 31 KK rata-rata memiliki 5 anggota keluarga, nelayan yang memiliki pekerjaan sampingan pendapatannya bertambah 18,51%, nelayan yang menerima sumbangan anggota keluarga pendapatannya bertambah 14,53%, nelayan yang menerima BLT BBM pendapatannya bertambah 11,51%, pendapatan diluar pekerjaan pokok berdampak dengan bertambahnya pendapatan KK nelayan sebanyak 12,21%, dan sebanyak 19 KK pemenuhan kebutuhan pokok keluarganya tidak terpenuhi.Kata kunci: kebutuhan, pemenuhan, upaya

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) improve the learning activity, (2) improve learning outcomes.The method which was used was a classroom action research and the  research subjects were students of class XI IPS 1 and the object of research was the Two Stay Two Stray type of Cooperative Learning, learning activity and learning outcomes in geography class. Data collection techniques was done by observing and testing technique. Analysis of the data was done by using the percentage of student activity and percentage of students who can pass the study. The result from this research is: (1) the application of Cooperative Learning Model of type Two Stay Two Stray could improve learning activities, (2) the implementation of the Two Stay Two Stray type of Cooperative Learning could improve the students’ learning outcomes.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan aktivitas belajar, (2) meningkatkan hasil belajar. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI IPS 1 dan objek penelitiannya adalah model Cooperative Learning Tipe Two Stay Two Stray, aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar geografi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi dan teknik tes. Analisis data dengan menggunakan persentase aktivitas siswa dan persentase siswa tuntas belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) penerapan model Cooperative Learning Tipe Two Stay Two Stray dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar, (2) penerapan model Cooperative Learning Tipe Two Stay Two Stray dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, dan two stay two stray

Abstract

Songket is one of the culture from Palembang. The aim of this study is to assess the perception of songket in preserving local culture in Palembang by artisans, public figure, and the society. This research used a descriptive research method with a cultural approach. Collecting data is done  through interview with artisans, public figure, Muara Penimbung Ulu society, literature studies and observations of songket in Palembang. The result of this research showed that   (1) the condition of climate is classified as climate D, (2) songket has been 22 motifs, (3) perception of artisans are learning songket is a tradition from one  generations to the next generations, function and motif can be added as much as needed, (4) songket has changed and developed, that is public figure’s perceptions, (5) public’s perception is motif of songket has increased continually.Kain tenun songket adalah salah satu bagian dari hasil budaya masyarakat Palembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang persepsi kerajian tenun songket dalam upaya pelestarian budaya daerah Palembang oleh pengrajin, tokoh  masyarakat, dan masyarakat. Kajian penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kebudayaan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan pengrajin, tokoh masyarakat, dan masyarakat Desa Muara Penimbung Ulu serta studi literatur dan observasi atas songket Palembang. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) keadaan iklim tergolong iklim D, (2) songket telah terdaftar ada 22 jenis motif, (3) persepsi pengrajin yaitu pembelajaran songket yang merupakan tradisi secara turun temurun, penambahan ragam fungsi dan ragam motif sangat diperlukan, (4) persepsi tokoh masyarakat yaitu songket saat ini mengalami perubahan atau perkembangan, (5) persepsi masyarakat yaitu ragam motif songket semakin bertambah.Kata kunci: budaya, palembang, songket.

Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) investigate the difference of students’ pre-tests before being taught by using interactive-teaching multimedia and presentation, (2) investigate the difference of students’ post-tests after being taught by using interactive-teaching multimedia and presentation, (3) investigate the difference of gain between students who were taught by using interactive-teaching multimedia and those taught by presentation. The method employed in this research was true-experimental designs. The subjects were the VII grade students of e and f class. T-test was used as data analysis. The research results showed: (1) there was difference of means of pre-test between students who were taught by using interactive-teaching media and those who were taught by using presentation media at the first pre-test, but there was no difference at the second pre-test for the similar subjects, (2) there was difference of means between students who were taught by using interactive-teaching media and those who were taught by presentation media, (3) there was difference of means of gain-increase on students’ achievement of those who were taught by using interactive-teaching multimedia and those who were taught by presentation media.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: perbedaan pretes siswa sebelum diajar menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dan presentasi, (2) perbedaan postes siswa setelah diajar menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dan presentasi, (3) perbedaan gain belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dan presentasi. Metode yang digunakan true-experimental designs. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII.e dan VII.f. Analisis data menggunakan Uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) terdapat perbedaan rata-rata pretes pertama antara siswa yang akan diajar menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dan media pembelajaran presentasi, sedangkan pada pretes kedua tidak terdapat perbedaan, (2) terdapat perbedaan rata-rata postes siswa yang diajar menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dan media presentasi. (3) terdapat perbedaan rata-rata gain hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dan media presentasi.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, media pembelajaran interaktif, media pembelajaran presentasi

Abstract

This research aimed to (1) create the distribution map of tourist attractions; and (2) Find out the location and the type of attraction at Pesisir Barat District. The research methods used descriptive research. Subjects were attraction at Pesisir Barat District. The object of research was Geography Information System based mapping. Data collection was carried out though observation, documentation, and interviews. Analysis of the data was digital analysis. Presentation and descriptions of the data were the conclusion of the research. The results of the research were (1) The natural attractions wich was located in the district of Pesisir Barat in 9 sub-districts were 18 attractions. (2) Type of attractions located in the district of Pesisir Barat in the form of 12 beachs, 2 ecotourism and 3 landscapes and 1 agroforesty.Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) membuat peta persebaran objek wisata; dan (2) mengetahui lokasi dan jenis objek wisata Kabupaten Pesisir Barat tahun 2015. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian terapan bersifat deskripitif. Subjek penelitian adalah objek wisata Kabupaten Pesisir Barat. Objek penelitian yaitu pemetaan berbasis Sistem Informasi Geografi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data yaitu analisa digital. Penyajian data dan deskripsi data sebagai akhir dari penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian adalah (1) Lokasi objek wisata alam di Kabupaten Pesisir Barat tersebar di 9 kecamatan berjumlah 18 objek wisata. (2) Jenis objek wisata yang terdapat di Kabupaten Pesisir Barat berupa 12 objek wisata bahari, 2 objek ekowisata dan 3 pemandangan alam dan 1 agroforesty.Kata kunci: objek wisata, pemetaan, sistem informasi geografi.

Abstract

The research was purpose to examine: the using of animation media and STAD learning model (students teams achievement division) in effort to increase the activities and learning results of Geography in class X1 at SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung 2015. This research used classroom action research as the method. By using 3 cycles of learning. The data collecting technique was done by observation, interview, test, documentation, and assisted partner teacher. This results indicated that: (1) In the first cycle there were 33.33% active students in learning with 23.33% of the learning results achieve a minimum completeness criteria ≥70. In the second cycle increased by 45.45% at learning activities with learning results increased to 33.33%. The third cycle increased to 70.96% at learning activities with learning results became 74.19% from all student. (2) It turned out that using the  animation media and STAD model can increase students activities and learning results of Geography.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji: Penggunaan Media Animasi dan Model Pembelajaran STAD dalam upaya meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas X1 SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung tahun 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan 3 siklus pembelajaran. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, tes, dokumentasi, dan dibantu guru mitra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Pada siklus I terdapat sebanyak 33,33% siswa aktif dalam memperhatikan pembelajaran dengan hasil belajar 23,33% mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal ≥ 70. Pada siklus II aktivitas belajar meningkat sebanyak 45,45% dengan hasil belajar meningkat menjadi 33,33%. Pada siklus III aktivitas belajar meningkat menjadi 70,96% dengan hasil belajar menjadi 74,19% dari seluruh siswa. (2) Ternyata penggunaan media animasi dan model STAD dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar geografi siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, media animasi dan model STAD

Abstract

This research was aimed at investigating the problem of geografic education major student as participant of intern Teaching Program on Social Studies Learning in Junior High School 2013, and the efforts made by geografic education major student to solve the problems. The method of this research was descriptive. The population were fourty six persons. The data collecting techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis used table analysis in form of percentage. The result of this research showed (1) respondences stated they were struggling on social studies study planning, understanding social studies, and on teaching social studies. All respondences stated that lack of understanding social studies causes obstacle on learning process. (2) The effort takken by the respondences to solve the problem were discussing with the teammate to solve the problem, consulting with the guide teacher, seeking the relevant references, and finding more information from the internet site.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kendala yang dihadapi mahasiswa Prodi Geografi Peserta PPL dalam pengajaran IPS Terpadu di SMP 2013, dan Upaya yang dilaksankan untuk mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 46 mahasiswa Pendidikan Geografi peserta PPL SMP Tahun 2013. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan tabel persentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) mahasiswa Pendidikan Geografi terkendala pada proses penyusunan RPP IPS Terpadu, memahami materi IPS dan terkendaladalam menyampaikan materi IPS Terpadu. Seluruh mahasiswa menyatakan kurangnya pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi IPS Terpadu menjadi kendala dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran IPS terpadu. (2) Upaya yang dilaksankan adalah meminta bantuan dari teman sekelompok, berkonsultasi dengan guru pamong, mencari referensi yang relevan dan mencari informasi tambahan melalui internet.Kata kunci: kendala, ppl, ips terpadu

Abstract

This research was aimed to know the causal factors of learning difficulties of student in grade X on the geography subject in Miftahul Jannah Islamic Integrated Senior High School Bandar Lampung academic year 2014/2015 with the point of study were physiology, psychology, family, school, mass media, and social environment factor. This research used ex post facto method with descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection were used an observation, the questionnaire, interview, and documentation technique. Data analysis was held by using percentase tabulation technique. The results of research indicated that the students learning difficulties caused by physiology (students condition physic), family, school, and mass media factors. As for psychology (students mental condition) and social environment factors have less influence to learning difficulties on the geography subject in Miftahul Jannah Islamic Integrated Senior High School Bandar Lampung academic year 2014/2015.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa kelas X pada mata pelajaran geografi di SMA Islam Terpadu Miftahul Jannah Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 dengan titik kajian pada faktor fisiologi, psikologi, keluarga, sekolah, media massa dan lingkungan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ex post facto dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisa data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik tabulasi persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan belajar siswa disebabkan oleh faktor fisiologi (keadaan fisik siswa), keluarga, sekolah, dan media massa. Adapun faktor psikologi (keadaan mental siswa), dan lingkungan sosial kurang memberikan pengaruh terhadap kesulitan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi di SMA Islam Terpadu Miftahul Jannah Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci: faktor penyebab, geografi, kesulitan belajar.
