Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is motivated by the lack of ability of student teachers of mathematics FKIP University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa in developing worksheets and media exploratory hands on activity. Based on observations in the course clump of learning (planning, strategies and evaluation) and the implementation of microteaching done by the students, obtained the fact that students in developing a worksheet is a collection of questions and do not require the capability of understanding the concept of the student. In addition, student teachers are still rarely use the media in learning, due to difficulties in designing and creating instructional media. Hence the need for teaching material that can be used as guides student teachers to develop explorative and media worksheet hands on activity. Thus the formulation of the problem and the purpose of this study is how to develop teaching material based worksheets and media exploratory hands on activity. The method used in this research is the development method includes preliminary studies, draft development, testing and development of the final product.The results of this research is a module consisting of four units, units of learning theory, the difference unit worksheets and job sheets, media unit hands on activity and worksheet exploratory unit. In each unit consists of several sub-units that correspond to the unit. Based on the results of expert testing and limited trials showed that the worksheet-based development modules exploratory and hands on activity worthy of media used. Keywords: Teaching Material, Worksheet Explorative, Media Hands on Activuty

Abstract

peserta didik. Peranan media pembelajaran sangat penting dalam upaya peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan dan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik melalui penggunaan media monopoli. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen, desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, karena menggunakan sampel yang sudah ada pada kelompok dikelas V SDN XI Cilegon. Pada penelitian ini kelas VA sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan media monopoli dan kelas VB sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan media replika bangun datar. Hasil uji dua pihak dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 diperoleh thitung= 2,29 dan ttabel= 2,005 maka terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik yang menggunakan media monopoli dengan peserta didik yang menggunakan media replika bangun datar. Hasil perhitungan uji perbedaan dua rata-rata skor gain menggunakan uji-t (uji satu pihak kanan) taraf signifikan 0,05 diperoleh thitung= 3,25 dan ttabel= 1,67 maka peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media monopoli lebih baik dari pada kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media replika bangun datar.Kata kunci: media monopoli, kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis The ability of understanding mathematical concepts is the ability to be possessed learners. The role of learning media is very important in improving the ability of understanding mathematical concepts learners. This study aims to determine differences and increase the ability of understanding mathematical concepts as learners through the use of monopoly media. This research used a quasi-experimental research, design nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, because it uses existing samples in the group of class 5th SDN XI Cilegon. In this study, class VA as an experimental class using the monopoly media and class VB as controls class use the media replica flat wake. The test results of two parties with a significant level of 0.05 obtained thitung = 2.29 and ttabel = 2.005 then there are differences in the ability of understanding mathematical concepts learners who use the monopoly media with learners who use the media replica flat wake. The results of test calculations the difference between two average score gain using t-test (test of the right hand) 0.05 significance level obtained thitung = 3.25 and ttabel = 1,67 the increased ability of understanding mathematical concepts that learners acquire learning by using monopoly media is better than on the ability of understanding mathematical concepts that learners acquire learning by using media replica flat wake.Keywords: monopoly media, the ability of understanding mathematical concepts.

Abstract

This research is motivated by rapid technological developments. More and more effort needs to be done in the utilization of technology results in learning. Teachers are expected to be able to use the tools provided from the school and not be covered by tools that are compatible with the development and turn of the times. Besides being able to use the tools available, teachers can also be used to create media that will be used as an available medium. One of the media used is interactive, in addition to junior high school students using tutorials to make it easier to use. The purpose of this research is to develop interactive learning in junior high school mathematics. The research was conducted in accordance with the research and development procedures consisting of: 1) preliminary study, 2) research planning, 3) development design, 4) preliminary field testing, 5) initial reference trial. In the preliminary stage of the field test, interactive teaching materials was validated by mathematicians, educational experts and multimedia specialists to assess the validity level of the product, which states that it is highly valid. In addition, limited tests were conducted on nine students to see the feasibility response that the results declared feasible, meaning interactive teaching materials learning math tutorial interesting to learn or use. Keywords: Interactive Teaching Materials, Tutorials

Abstract

Video pembelajaran merupakan salah satu jenis media yang mengutamakan kekuatan suara dan gambar. Sejarah matematika merupakan mata kuliah pilihan dimana jenis materi dalam mata kuliah ini bersifat faktual, sehingga dalam proses pembelajarannya dosen lebih mengedepankan metode ceramah, presentasi dan diskusi. Untuk lebih mengefektifkan proses perkuliahan maka akan disusun suatu inovasi pembelajaran yaitu dengan mengembangkan video pembelajaran berbantuan aplikasi sparkol videoscribe. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan video pembelajaran berbantuan aplikasi sparkol videoscribe pada mata kuliah sejarah matematika serta mendeskirpsikan langkah pembelajaran yang mendukungnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang meliputi tahap concept, design, collecting materials, assembly, test drive dan distribution. Kelayakan pengembangan video pembelajaran diperoleh berdasarkan data dari angket yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Penilaian ahli isi mata kuliah mencapai kategori baik, ahli media pembelajaran mencapai kategori baik dan validasi kelompok kecil mencapai kategori baik. Adapun langkah pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan di kelas sebagai berikut: Pendahuluan: membagi mahasiswa ke dalam beberapa kelompok; Inti: Mengamati video, membuat pertanyaan/tanggapan, dan dikusi kelompok; Akhir: kesimpulan dan refleksi.Kata Kunci: Video Pembelajaran, Sparkol Videoscribe, Sejarah Matematika
