Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out the influence of Occupational Health and Safety Program toward the performance of the employees mediated by work motivation. The method of data collection in this explanatory research employs questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentation. From the population of 188 employees, the proportional stratified random sampling method results in 55 employees as the sample. Data analysis uses Path Analysis. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that Occupational Health and Safety Program has positive and significant influence mediated by the variable of work motivation. PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Semarang should improve its Occupational Health and Safety Program to increase employees’ work motivation which in turn will result in maximum work performance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan yang dimediasi variabel motivasi kerja. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Semarang yang berjumlah 118 orang. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionate Stratified Random Sampling dan ditetapkan sampel sebanyak 55 orang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis jalur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa keselamatan kerja dan kesejahteraan (K3) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi oleh variabel motivasi kerja. PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Semarang seharusnya untuk meningkatkan K3 bagi karyawan agar motivasi kerja mereka menjadi lebih tinggi, sehingga mereka dapat memberikan performa yang maksimal.Keywords: Occupational Health and Safety, Work PerformanceKeselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja, Prestasi Kerja

Abstract

Human resources is one of factors has an important role in improving employee performance. The population of this study were 114 employees as respondent.  From the results of data analysis conclude that Leadership Trasnformasional has significant effect on Job Satisfaction of 19.9 percent. Compensation affect Job Satisfaction by 58.8 percent. Leadership Transformasional variables affect the performance of employees by 14.8 percent. Compensation variables affect the performance of Employee by 23.7 percent. Job Satisfaction affect the employee performance by 19.3 percent.  Transformational Leadership  and Job Satisfaction simultaneously affecting Compensation by 60.3 percent.  Transformational Leadership  and Job Satisfaction simultaneously affecting Employee Performance by 27.1 percent. Transformational Leadership, and Job Satisfaction simultaneously affecting  Employee Performance by 26.9 percent.  Based on these results,  the management of PT. Pelindo needs to consider the application of Transformational Leadership Style by division supervisor. Continuous guidance and supervision needs to be done so that employees work better. e needs of employees and the opportunity to move forward should be supported and facilitated.

Abstract

The successful key of CV. Roda Mas Jaya Semarang in the field of tire retreading is focus on customer satisfaction in order to survive and dominate the market. In order to improve customer  satisfaction, CV. Roda Mas Jaya Semarang trying to provide the kind of products and services superior facilities that aims to satisfy customers. This research is a descriptive survey approach. Sample was 15 companies were taken using census techniques. Measurement scale with a Likert scale. Data collection by interview using a questionnaire. Data analysis using Cartesian diagram.The results showed that the level of product conformance to customer expectations by 79.31% in the category are satisfied. This means that the performance of the product CV Roda Mas Jaya Semarang meet customers expectations by 79.31%. Service quality level according to customer expectations by 89.44% in the category are satisfied. This means that the performance of services CV. Roda Mas Jaya  Semarang meet customer expectations by 89.44%.Advice can be given for the company is to improve the performance and speed of the product with specifications in the manufacture of products, as well as timeliness in providing services to customers and compliance with the promised service process.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors affecting loyalty of Tupperware customers. Which estimated factors that affected the customer loyalty were product quality, price, promotion, and design variables. This research came under explanatory type. The sampling technique was a purposive sampling technique, with a sample of 100 respondents who were Tupperware customers at Diponegoro University. The analysis method used in this research was a multiple linear regression analysis.The result of this study using a multiple linear regression indicated that product quality, price, promotion, and design variables were the factors that affected the customer loyalty. Price variable was the most influential factor to customer loyalty, and then followed by product quality, promotion, and design variables. The Adjusted R-Square value of 0.854 indicated that 85.4 percent of variation in customer loyalty could be explained by four independent variables used in the regression equation, The level of close relationship between product quality, price, promotion, and design, and the loyalty was very solid. Suggestion can be submitted to retain the quality of products owned and enchance promotion more known to the public. Price held down so that the public should be more middle class can enjoy the privilege of proprietary products. The design held to be more interesting to make people more loyal to this product.

Abstract

Customers buying behavior of a product is influenced by many factors. Every individual has the desire and taste different. Product quality is a factor that is very influential on purchase decisions, other than that there are many more factors that influence the buying behavior. This study aims to how much influence product quality, price, and promotion of their product purchasing decisions Yamaha Mio motorcycle and know the variables that have a dominant influence on purchase decisions Yamaha Mio motorcycle products to the public in the area of ​​Semarang. Type is the type of research that used explanatory research. Samples were taken at 98 respondents that consumers who use Yamaha Mio motorcycle and make purchases at Harpindo Jaya branch of Majapahit. Determination of the sample with accidental sampling technique. Mechanical analysis of the data using linear regression analysis. Based on these results it can be concluded that: (a) there is a positive and significant effect on the variable quality of the product, (b) there is a positive and significant effect on the price variables, (c) there is a positive and significant impact on the promotion of the purchase decision variables Yamaha Mio. And who has the greatest influence is variable product quality. Hypothesis testing shows that the influence of product quality, price, and promotion of their purchasing decisions Yamaha Mio. The coefficient of determination for the variable quality of the product (X1), price (X2), and Promotion (X3) is 85.4% to the buying decision, while 14.6% Harpindo Jaya influenced other factors. PT. Harpindo Jaya should further enhance the promotion through electronic media and print media so that consumers always remember the product being offered. Prices were terjagkau and still maintain the quality must be maintained in order to remain in the interest of consumers.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Bank is an institution that serves as a financial intermediary. Banks accept deposits from the public money and then distribute it back in the form of loans. This research was conducted to examine the effect of Third Party Funds (TPF), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Return on Assets (ROA) and the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) toward Credit Volume at The Government Banks (study Empyrical of Indonesia Government Banks in the period 2006-2011). The data used in this study is a secondary data obtained from Bank Indonesia’s  libraries. The analysis technique using linear regression, while hypothesis testing using t - test and test - F at a significance level of 5%. The classical assumptions test used in this study include normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation test. Based on the research, it can be conclude that the third party funds and return on assets have a positive and significant impact on the volume of lending. Meanwhile, capital adequacy ratio, non performing loans and loan to deposit ratio are negative and not significant effect on the volume of lending. Simoultaneously there is a significant effect between third party funds, capital adequacy ratio, non performing loan, return on assets and loan to deposit ratio to the volume of loans.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of brand extension and product quality on purchase decisions of Dove shampoo in Semarang. Type of research used in this research is explanatory research with 100 respondents taken using accidental sampling techniques. The techinique of analysis used in this study was linear regression with SPSS for windows. The results showed that the brand extension have a significant effect (partial) on purchase decisions of Dove shampoo in Semarang of 17,5%. The variable quality of product also has a significant influence (partial) on purchase decisions Dove shampoo in Semarang of 31.3%. Variables brand extension and product quality simultaneously have significant influence to the purchase decision of 33.0%.

Abstract

PT. Damatex Salatiga is a company that runs in the field of textiles oriented on profit goals and strive to create competitive advantages. Employee performance is one of measurements, which is often used in determining the effectiveness of the company. A company will not able to improve if the performance of employees is stagnant, nevertheless with the high level of competition in the business world. In order to improve employees performance by increasing motivation and discipline of work. The purpose of this research is to investigate and examine the effect of the motivation and discipline of work to employee performance of Spinning I Department of PT. Damatex Salatiga.This research uses explanatory research approach of 72 repondents that taken with proportionate random sampling method. Data collection techniques is using questionnaires, interviewed and the documentation technique. Data were analyzed using linear regression analysis.Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that motivation has a positive effect toward performance about 14,5%. Employees discipline has a positive effect toward performance about 12,7%.Motivation and discipline have a significant effect toward performance about 19,8%. The higher level of motivation and discipline of work, the higher level of performance.Advice that can be given to the company is the company should be focus on labours by making some reviews of work assignments that have been established and need to be adjust between job assignment with capability of workers. Company should give a spirirt by giving appreciation for theworkers and if possible, recreation program for the workers, thus eventually will improve the performance of their workers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate and examine the effect of product, price, and promotion to the Toyota Yaris purchasing decisions on PT. Nasmoco Gombel Semarang. This study uses explanatory research approach to the 94 respondents who were taken by purposive sampling method.Techniques of data collection using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using linear regression analysis. Based on the results of analysis variables influence product purchasing decision variable at 64.9%. Variables affect the price of the purchase decision variable of 93.3%. Promotion variable influence on purchase decisions 74.8%. Taken together the variables of product, price and promotion influence on purchase decisions of 94.9%. The better the product, the price is cheap, and attractive promotions then the higher the purchasing decision. Suggestion for the company, the company should keep perform periodic evaluation and improvement so that the product in the eyes of consumers better than other similar products. Companies must keep a decent price for the consumer that is based on income levels and competition, keep frequent and interesting promotion

Abstract

Employees performance is not optimal due to several factors, including compensation, motivation and organizational culture. PT. Nasmoco Pemuda is an enterprise engaged in commerce or services. In its development, the volume of sales from year to year has been fluctuating and declining employee performance. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the influence of compensation, motivation and organizational culture on employee performance. Type of research is explanatory research. The hypothesis is that the compensation (X1), motivation (X2), organizational culture (X3) have a significant impact on employee performance (Y). The conclusion of this study is compensation, motivation, and organizational culture at PT. Nasmoco Pemuda classified as good. The test results show that compensation, motivation, and organizational culture have a significant influence on employee performance.
