Abstract

Mahoni wood (Swietenia macrophylla King) contains holoseloluse and lignin. This research has been conducted to using lignin from  mahoni wood for made polyurethane  Isolate lignin is product isolation mahoni degradation with method increasing 4 gram isolate lignin into 150 ml ethylene glycol content 25 gram solution NaOH. The result of degradation used to synthesis polyurethane, then content of LT-PEG with methylen 4.4 difenil diisocyanaate (MDI) become polyurethane.  To identified isolate lignin and product degradation lignin has been conducted to characterized with UV and FTIR method. The result shows that the specified spectra at maximum wavelength at 280 nm and 248 nm. While result from FTIR spectra shows that spevtra at wavenumber 1296 cm-1 and 1249 cm-1 is shows of propile guaiasil group. The function group propel siringile. While lignin from kind at siirngile, while the spectra at 1354 cm-1. The result synthesis polyurethane to characterized by the mechanical properties analysis with Tensile tester machine. It is therefore mechanical properties shows that Tensile strength and Young modulus bigger wuth enhancing lignin of content into polyurethane but percentage elongation increase.   Keywords :  Mahoni wood, isolate lignin, degradation lignin, polyurethane

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the effect of  pyrolysis temperature to the wood vinegar chemical composition by be produced wood vinegar, charcoal, biofuel  etc. The variation of pyrolysis  temperatures were 110, 200, 300, 400 and 500 °C at 5 hours. That pine wood vinegar yield obtained were 13.80%, 16.12%, 11.99%, 15.51% and 0.90 %.  Analysis  DTA (Diferential Thermal Analysis)  showed thermal decompotition occurs at  227, 320.2 and 349.7 °C.  Identification of GC-MS of pine sawdust could provide compounds that mostly derived from acid group and was dominated by acetic acid produced was 31.65%. At distillate of teak smokes was obtained three yield of liquid smokes resulted from conversion of pine wood  wastes can be utilized to preserve fishes.   Keywords :  Pine sawdust,  pyrolysis, wood vinegar, and preserve  fishes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of physical properties and chemical properties of breadfruit flour Toddo'puli varieties. This research is experimental research, object in this research that is breadfruit flour which are made from varieties of Toddo'puli, with 3 times repeat so as to produce amount of unit trial counted 3 unit. Data of research obtained by way observation, documentation and experiment. files analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics. The results showed that the average value of yield obtained was 17.09%, viscosity 4,960 centipoise, moisture content 6,66%, amylose content 0,65%, amylopectin content 36,38%. While for organoleptic test of flour consist of color, smell and texture in a row get average value equal to 2,75%, 2,88%, 3,41%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the chemical characteristics of milk dairy cow in Sinjai District include fat content, protein content, calcium level and phosphorus level. The results of this test will be compared with the requirement of fresh milk quality based on Indonesian National Standard. This research is a kind of survey research, this research is done by taking samples of milk dairy cattle at three farmer groups in Sinjai District, especially in West Sinjai Sub-district namely  Batu leppa farmer group, Batu Pangkaiya  farmer group and Pattiroang farmer group. The results showed that milk protein content of dairy cows in Sinjai District has complied with Indonesian National Standard, but its fat content has not fulfilled the Indonesian National Standard. The calcium and phosphor content of dairy cattle milk in Sinjai District is good enough and meets the standards of fresh milk based on the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of adding red dragon fruit to the chemical and hedonic content of caramel milk. This study used a method of adding 20%, 30%, and 40% red dragon fruit pulp for caramel milk candy with a cooking time of 2 hours at 80˚C. This research is a quantitative study (experiment) using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments, each control, 20%, 30%, and 40% with 3 replications. The research data was obtained from the results of chemical testing (moisture content, ash content, fiber, reduction sugar, and antioxidants) and organoleptic (color, taste, aroma, and texture), data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with DRMT test (Duncan ) at a 95% confidence level. The results showed that the addition of red dragon fruit pulp had an effect on caramel milk candy, the best research on the manufacture of caramel milk was the addition of 40% red dragon fruit pulp with characteristics of 3.54% moisture content, 1.98% ash content, 1.48% fiber content, decreased sugar content 2.18%, antioxidant content 53.77%, favorite color value 4.10, favorite aroma value 3.52, flavor 3.83, and favorite texture value 3.23

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey and ex-post facto yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara motivasi peserta didik dengan hasil belajar kimia kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri Se-Kecamatan Ternate Utara tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Total populasi penelitian sebanyak 311 peserta didik dengan ukuran sampel sebanyak 175 peserta didik. Teknik penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan propotional cluster random sampling. Pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan instrumen berupa angket terbuka dan tes. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan Software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa korelasi antara motivasi peserta didik dengan hasil belajar kimia sangat kuat dengan niai yag diperoleh adalah 0,88. Untuk uji hipotesis digunakan uji t, data yang diperoleh menunjukan thitung > ttabel yaitu 8,23 > 1,97 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 di terima sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat korelasi antara motivasi peserta didik dengan hasil belajar kimia.Kata Kunci: motivasi, hasil belajar.ABSTRACTThe study is a survey and ex-post facto which aims to determine the correlation between the motivation of students with chemistry learning outcomes grade XI IPA of State Senior High Schools in North Ternate District in the academic year 2017/2018. The total population of the study was 311 students with a sample size of 175 students. The sample determination technique is used propotional cluster random sampling. Retrieval of research data using an instrument in the form of an open questionnaire and test, research data were analyzed using SPSS Software. The results showed that the correlation between the motivation of students with chemistry learning outcomes was very strong with the value obtained was 0.88. To test the hypothesis, the t test is used, the data obtained shows tcount > t table that the number is 8.23 > 1.97 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that it can be concluded that there is a correlation between the motivation of students with chemistry learning outcomes. Keywords: Motivation, Learning Achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using seaweed waste fertilizer on the growth of spinach plants consisting of stem height, number of leaves, and leaf length. This study uses Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with media of seaweed waste concentration 25%, 30%, and 65%. Data were analyzed by variance (ANOVA) and continued with DMRT further testing. The results of this study indicate that the concentration of seaweed waste has a significant effect on changes in stem height, leaf number and leaf length which is the best treatment of soil concentration with seaweed waste is a concentration of 75-25% and shows 100% percentage of life.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is aim to know the influence of cultivating-media of combustion-soil a giving compost toward growth reaction, viability, and vegetables production. This research was used a complete-randomly plan that consist of three treatment included P1 with combustion-soil adding by 65.625 g (15 tons/ha) of compost, P2 with combustion-soil adding by 109.375 g (25 tons/ha) of compost, P3 with combustion-soil adding by 153.125 g (35 tons/ha) of compost, and a combustion-soil as a control. This experiment  was done three times until it was gotten 12 units of experiment. The data gotten were analyzed by using multifariously-examination analysis manually. The result of the research showed that the treatment toward P3 with combustion-soil adding by 153.125 g (35 tons/ha) of compost was the best treatment for a high-plant parameter, leaf number, and gross weight. While for viability, P1 was the best treatment with 100 % percentage of viability

Abstract

This study aims to determine the design of onion slicer to facilitate farmers in handling post-harvest, and can also function as a tool that can be used by small businesses, especially fried onion business. The form of this research is the design of tools. The design of shallot slicer through several mechanisms including the manufacture of tool support, installation of material components such as hopper, pulley, v-belt, knife, and bearing. The research data was obtained from the results of testing tools by testing simple tools, design tools with 2 knives and also by designing using 4 knives, this tool uses an electric motor as a driving force to replace human power. Data analysis techniques are carried out quantitatively with statistics. The results of this study indicate that the design of tools with 2 and 4 knives has not run optimally.

Abstract

This research aims to know the formulationsbolu kukus cake by using sweet potato flour and to know the varieties of sweet potatoes in the creation of bolu kukus cake. The research method using Random Complete. The results that it is processed using the techniques of analysis investigated a variety of ANOVA with a further DMRT (Duncan Multiple Rate).
