Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine impact of dividend policy, leverage and  managerial  ownership  on  agency cost. Based on data availability, sample consists of 105 observations. Data collection method is non participants’ observation. The results  show  that  1) dividend policy does not statistically  affect  agency cost  at significance level of 95 percent, 2) leverage  affects  agency cost negatively and significantly at the  level of 95 percent, 3) companies managed by owner managers have lower  agency cost  than  those managed by non owner managers.

Abstract

Corruption is one of problem that exists in Indonesia for long time and becomes parts of human behavior. Corruption in Indonesia is not only happened in government institution but also in private business and university. Recently development, corruption elimination is being done but in fact it still not working as well as expected. This is because every corruption and embezzling comes from money problem. University students majoring in accounting as an accountant to be that has taken auditing subject would be expected much they can take a role in uncovering corruption case. Whereas lecturers as one of information source for them could form their perception. During  the process of studying, students would be expected to change their behavior and give positive perception about corruption elimination efforts which is now being done by our government. For lecturers, they have more information than students have. The result of analysis showed that all of lecturers and students knew about corruption elimination. The result of difference test showed that there were not significant difference between lecturers and university students’ perception about corruption elimination in Indonesia viewed from 4 variables used, i.e. law, moral, pillars of integrity and good governance. But there were different perception between respondents for several question indicator

Abstract

This research intends to study the factors that can affect the product perception and consumer intention in buying organic product.The study is necessary in that it explores at least some of the factors that can affect the product perception and consumer intention in buying organic product.The research results indicated that there was a positive influence of health consciousness towards environment attitude, consumer’s organic product knowledge towards organic product perception, environment attitude and consumer’s organic knowledge towards intention to buy organic product. But, there was a negative influence between environment attitude, health consciousness towards consumer’s organic product perception, and consumer’s organic product towards intention to buy organic product. Keywords: Organic product, Product perception, Intention to buy, Health consciousness
