Abstract

Vibrio parahaemolyticus is a bacterium in the same family as those that cause cholera. It lives in brackish saltwater and cause gastrointestinal in human. When ingested, V. parahaemolyticus causes watery diarrhea with abdominal cramping and vomiting fever. Most people become infected by eating raw or undercooked sea food i.e. shrimps. This organism can cause an infection in the skin when an open wound is exposed to warm seawater. This research investigated V. parahaemolyticus in frozen raw shrimps   which sold at sea food restorants at Pangandaran Beach area. The results showed that no one of frozen raw shripms sample were contaminated by V. parahaemolyticus. But 16 of 20 frozen raw shrimps sample were contaminated by halophilic Vibrio. More attention should be paid to food sanitation at the market place, especially during handling, preparation, and cooking of the oysters.

Abstract

Abstrak:       Tujuan studi ini adalah memberi informasi tentang pentingnya pollen substitute sebagai pengganti serbuk sari alami bagi koloni lebah madu, serta cara pembuatan dan pemberian pollen substitute. Pollen substitute merupakan satu-satunya sumber protein bagi lebah madu, dapat dibuat dibuat oleh peternak lebah madu dengan memanfaatkan tepung kedelai, khamir, dan susu skim. Pollen substitute dapat diberikan dalam bentuk tepung kering, cairan serta pasta, dan ditempatkan baik di dalam sarang maupun di luar sarang. Pollen substitute diberikan saat tidak tersedia atau berkurangnya bunga sebagai sumber serbuk sari alami, serbuk sari alami yang tersedia berkualitas rendah, atau faktor cuaca yang menghambat lebah pekerja pencari pakan untuk keluar sarang. Pemberian pollen substitute dapat berfungsi sebagai pakan larva dan lebah dewasa, mencegah kanibalisme lebah pekerja kepada larva, menambah jumlah lebah pekerja, memelihara dan menyiapkan kesehatan koloni untuk menghadapi musim bunga selanjutnya. Kata kunci: serbuk sari, pollen substitute, lebah madu. Abstract:       The aim of this study was to provide information the importance of pollen substitute as a replacement for natural pollen for honey bee colonies, making and providing pollen substitute. Pollen substitute is the artificial high protein diets for honey bees. Beekeepers could made using soybean flour, yeast, and skim milk. Pollen substitute provided in dry powder, liquid or paste, and placed both inside and outside the hive. Pollen substitute might served at the flower dearth, low-quality natural pollen, or weather factors that impede the workers foraging. Pollen substitute  could be as feed of the brood and the adult bees, prevent the workers cannibalize the brood, increasing the number of workers, maintaning and preparing healthy honey bee colonies for next spring. Key words: pollen, pollen substitute, honey bee.

Abstract

Honey has an important role as an anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial agent, make it has high value for therapeutic puposes. North Kalimantan Indonesia is one of the honey producing regions of honey bee Apis dorsata, which colonizing on Gita tree (Alstonia scholaris), Menggeris tree (Koompasia malaccensis), and Pomatodon tree (Canarium decumanum). The aims of this research was to know the quality, phytochemistry and antibacterial activity of three types of honey produced byA. dorsata that colonized on three different trees in North Kalimantan. The honey quality test method was based on SNI 01-3454-2004. The phytochemicals tested included alkaloids, phenolics, hydroquinones, steroids and triterpenoids. Anti-bacterial activity was tested using well diffusion method with honey concentration 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%, against pathogenic bacteriaE.coli, S. typhi, S.aureus, S. epidermidis, and P. aeruginosa. The results showed that the honey tested complied with Indonesian honey quality standard SNI 01-3454-2004, except for water content, acidity and reducing-sugar content. The active compound present in all three types of honey are saponin. Honey from Gita treeat concentration 100% showed the strongest antibacterial activity against all of test bacteria. The antibacterial properties of the honey are probably derived from saponins and low pH of the honey. Abstract

This study aimed to describe supporting factors and inhibiting organizational performance and to evaluate the organizational performance of Semarang City Department of Education in achieving quality. The study used the theory of the factors that affect the performance of the organization. The factors that affect the performance of the organization used in the study include human resources; facilities and infrastructure; management information systems; cooperation; and leadership. This study used qualitative research method of descriptive. Based on the research results, factor that support the performance of the organization are human resources, cooperation and leadership whereas inhibiting factor are facilities and infrastructure; and management information systems. Organizational performance evaluation results indicate that the 9-year compulsory education targets have been met, the drop-out rate reached the national minimum servive standard, a decrease in the number of graduates, reduction in the number of teachers, reduction in the number of students repeating, decreasing dropout, an increase in the availability of the library, infirmary, computer rooms and laboratories, but a decrease in the availability of classrooms in the year 2013/2014. The suggestions given are fulfilling the availability of infrastructure needs, manage and utilize the education management system optimally, improve the education standard that is 12-year compulsory and seeks to reduce the children street in order to avoid dropping out of school, prepare for the exam to increase the number of the graduates and urged local governments to fulfilling the needs of theachers, do more focused on the construction of classrooms and repair the damaged

Abstract

To enrich research related to green product purchase intention this study is focused on young educated consumers in Indonesia. This is reinforced by the recent rise in green business management at several companies, but still less education and public awareness on environmental issues and healthy living. This study investigates the relationship among brand awareness, perceived quality, brand trust and purchase intention toward green product “Ades” mineral water used purposive sampling with educated young consumers as subjects. The survey with questionnaires was conducted to collect the data. By implemented structural equation modeling (SEM) the results indicate that brand awareness has a significant effect toward purchase intention. Brand awareness and perceived quality have a significant and positive effects toward brand trust. Another result in this study shows that there is no positive effect of perceived quality and brand trust toward purchase intention.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin mempengaruhi tingkah laku manusia, mulai dari cara berkomunikasi hingga cara mengajar di kelas. Realitanya masih banyak guru yang kesulitan menggunakan teknologi, menjadikan pembelajaran kurang dapat mengkonkretkan materi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) mengembangkan media interaktif berasis Ispring, 2) mendeskripsikan kelayakan dari media interaktif berbasis Ispring, 3) mendeskripsikan kepraktisan media interaktif berbasis Ispring. Metode yang digunakan mengadaptasi dari model ADDIE dengan empat tahapan yaitu: analisis, desain, pengembangan dan implementasi. Subjek uji coba adalah siswa kelas V SDN Ciptomulyo 3. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara tidak terstruktur, dan dokumentasi.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media interaktif layak untuk digunakan. Penilaian oleh ahli media mendapatkan presentase 85%. Penilaian oleh ahli materi mendapatkan presentase 94%. Penilaian oleh calon pengguna mendapatkan presentase 93%. Penilaian hasil respon siswa pada ujicoba lapangan terbatas mendapatkan presentase 93%. Berdasarkan paparan hasil penilaian tersebut, media interaktif “Layak” atau “Sangat Baik” untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

Abstract

Lagu anak-anak yang populer dan atau tersebar luas di masyarakat saat ini, kebanyakan  tidak sesuai dengan karakter anak-anak, sehingga guru TK dituntut dapat menciptakan lagu. Rumusan masalahnya adalah (1) bagaimanakah kesesuaian hasil karya cipta lagu anak guru guru TK Islam Al-Azhar 14 Semarang dilihat dari bentuk musikologi meliputi melodi, irama, syair, dan akord? (2) Bagaimanakah kreativitas hasil karya cipta lagu guru TK Islam Al-Azhar 14 Semarang dilihat dari sifat dan faktor intrinsik ekstrinsik  kreativitas ? Metode dan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Hasil pembahasan dalam penelitian ini adalah karya lagu ciptaan guru TK Islam Al-Azhar 14 Semarang dilihat dari segi syair,  melodi,  akord dan irama sudah sesuai dengan tema pembelajaran dan karakteristik anak. Kreativitas guru mencipta lagu juga didukung oleh kelancaran menemukan nada, pengetahuan dan pengalaman tentang lagu anak-anak yang menjadikan guru mampu menganalogi  dalam mencipta lagu. Kelancaran, keluwesan dan keaslian berpikir dipengaruhi oleh faktor instrinsik dan ekstrinsik.Children's songs are widespread, not fully understood by the kindergarten teacher. A popular children's songs don’t fit with the character of the children, so that kindergarten teachers are required to create a song. The formulation is (1) how the suitability of the work of children's songwriting teacher kindergarten teacher Islam Al-Azhar 14 Semarang seen from the musicology include melody, rhythm, lyrics, and chords? (2) How does creativity work of kindergarten teachers songwriting Islamic Al-Azhar 14 Semarang views of factors of creativity? The methods and approach used is qualitative research. Results of the discussion in this study was the work of a song written by a kindergarten teacher Islam Al-Azhar 14 Semarang in terms of lyrics, melodies, chords and rhythms are in accordance with the theme of learning and child characteristics. Fluency, flexibility and originality of thought is influenced by intrinsic and extrinsic factors.Suggestions are (1) the creativity of creating songs should be tried by Mrs. teacher institute kindergarten others, (2) providing training create songs for kindergarten teachers, in order to be able to create songs with properly and immediately be able to write notes to the notation numbers , so that they can make their own song sheet music.

Abstract

This research investigates the relationship between Experiential Marketing, Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty of The House of Raminten restaurant. One of marketing approach to create customer loyalty is using experiential marketing through sense, feel, think, act, and relateto build relation to customer that reach customer satisfaction and customer loyaltypurposive sampling. The survey with questionaires was conducted to collect the data. By implementing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) the results indicate that Experiential Marketing significantly influences customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction showed significantly influences Customer Loyalty. Experiential marketing does not significantly direct influence to Customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction plays role as intervening variable between Experiential Marketing and Customer Loyalty.

Abstract

Angkutan barang memiliki perananan penting dalam hal distribusi barang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan. Dalam operasionalnya, pengemudi angkutan barang akan parkir untuk beristirahat maupun untuk mengecek kondisi kendaraannya. Kebutuhan waktu parkir dapat dipengaruhi oleh operasional kendaraannya, antara lain usia sisa ban, jarak tempuh dari lokasi terakhir parkir serta rasio muatan dengan kapasitas kendaraannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara durasi parkir dengan karakteristik operasional angkutan barang yang parkir di pinggir jalan pada ruas Jalan Ki Mangun Sarkoro, Jalan Sumpah Pemuda, dan Jalan Ring Road Surakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan cara pengisian kuesioner yang diperoleh dari wawancara terhadap pengemudi angkutan barang yang parkir di pinggir jalan pada ruas Jalan Ki Mangun Sarkoro, Jalan Sumpah Pemuda, dan Jalan Ring Road Surakarta. Metode analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear berganda dengan durasi parkir (Y, menit) sebagai variabel terikat dan variabel bebas antara lain usia sisa ban (X1, bulan), jarak tempuh dari lokasi terakhir parkir ke lokasi penelitian (X2, km) serta rasio muatan dengan kapasitas (X3). Model persamaan hubungan antara durasi parkir dengan karakteristik operasional angkutan barang yang dihasilkan adalah Y= 177,781 13,104X1 + 0,195X2 + 28,092X3, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi masing-masing varibel bebas dengan variabel terikat (r) < 0,25 dan nilai koefisien determinasi (r2) = 0,029. Dari model yang diperoleh diketahui bahwa karakteristik operasional angkutan barang tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap durasi parkir.
