Abstract

Fly slab is one of the precast concrete slab technological development that has been researched and patented by Ir . Sulistyana in 2011. The concept is how to reduce the mass of precast concrete slab with makes ribs on the concrete slab. To minimize the volume of concrete plate and while maintaining tensile area to makes the style transfer mechanism of concrete to reinforcement or otherwise, are expected to reduce the mass of the structure without reducing strength.Comparative study will be conducted in the final project based on Planning of Building Construction Rusunawa in Surakarta, Central Java 2013. This comparative study is done by compare the results of the structural design Rusunawa existing Surakarta and ready to build using conventional precast concrete massive, with a new structure plan Rusunawa Surakarta with using fly slab as material plate, beam and column structural elements using conventional concrete.Based on the analysis results, showed reduction in the volume of concrete and reinforcement elements beam and coloumn Rusunawa Surakarta structure is 20,25% and 6,3 %. Reduction reaction in the vertical structure of the Rusunawa Building in Surakarta is 16,93%.

Abstract

Tujuan: Membandingkan kadar PIBF serum dan berat plasenta pada model preeklampsia.Bahan dan Metode: Penelitian cross sectional yang dilakukan pada 16 Mus musculus bunting normal dan 16 Mus musculus bunting yang diberikan anti Qa-2 untuk membentuk suatu model preeklampsia. Kemudian dilakukan terminasi pada hari ke 16 kebuntingan dan dilakukan pemeriksaan kadar PIBF serum dengan metode ELISA serta pengukuran berat plasenta.Hasil: Didapatkan penurunan kadar PIBF serum pada Mus musculus model preeklampsia dibandingkan kontrol (33,21±29,36 ng/ml vs 105,76±59,69 ng/ml; p<0,05). Tidak ada perbedaan berat plasenta Mus musculus model preeklampsia dibandingkan kontrol (97,75±50,74 mg vs 116,09±44,45 mg; p>0,05). Tidak didapatkan hubungan antara kadar PIBF serum dengan berat plasenta.Simpulan: Penurunan kadar PIBF serum dapat dijadikan sebagai penanda kejadian preeklampsia. Penurunan kadar PIBF serum diduga berhubungan dengan kelainan plasenta pada preeklampsia.

Abstract

AbstrakDiabetes mellitus merupakan masalah utama kesehatan di dunia dan prevalensinya selalu meningkat. Pada dosis yang tepat kandungan nikotin dari ekstrak etanol daun tembakau (Nicotiana tabacum) memiliki efek hipoglikemik sehingga berpeluang sebagai terapi alternatif untuk diabetes mellitus. Namun, efeknya pada jaringan adipose penderita diabetes mellitus belum banyak diketahui. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak etanol daun tembakau terhadap berat lemak visceral tikus model diabetes mellitus. Pada penelitian ini tikus galur Wistar dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok yaitu kontrol negatif (K-), kelompok tikus model diabetes mellitus (K+), dan tiga kelompok tikus diabetes melitus yang diberi ekstrak etanol daun tembakau 90 (P1), 180 (P2) dan 270 (P3) mg/kgBB/hari per oral selama 28 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat penurunan bermakna berat lemak pada semua kelompok tikus DM yang diberi ekstrak daun tembakau dibandingkan dengan tikus DM tanpa terapi maupun tikus normal (p &lt; 0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian adalah pemberian ekstrak etanol daun tembakau menurunkan berat lemak visceral pada tikus model DM. Penurunan berat lemak visceral kemungkinan disebabkan oleh kandungan nikotin dalam ekstrak yang dapat mengaktivasi lipolisis, menghambat lipogenesis, aktivasi thermogenesis, dan penurunan intake makan.  Kata kunci: berat lemak visceral, diabetes mellitus, daun tembakau (Nicotiana tabacum).

Abstract

Background: Pathogenesis of preeclampsia still a controversial research objects. Progesterone induced blocking factor has protective effects in pregnancy.Objectives: To compare PIBF serum level and placental weight and investigate correlation between both in preeclampsia.Methods: This experimental study used 16 Mus musculus with normal pregnancy and 16 Mus musculus that were injected with anti Qa-2 to create a preeclampsia model. Terminations of were performed in day 16th, followed by ELISA examination for PIBF serum level and placental weight measurement.Result: PIBF serum level significantly reduced on preeclampsia model  compared with control (33,21±29,36 ng/ml vs 105,76±59,69 ng/ml; p<0,05). There was no different of placental weight in preeclampsia model compared with control (97,75±50,74 mg vs 116,09±44,45 mg; p>0,05). There was no significant correlation between PIBF serum level and placental weight.Conclusion: Decreased of PIBF serum level could be used as a marker of preeclampsia. Decreased of PIBF serum level may be correlate with placental pathology in preeclampsia.

Abstract

Objectives: to present data on the characteristics of pregnancy with PPCM and PE. Management of patients with PPCM is almost the same as for patients with acute or chronic heart failure, which uses drug therapy. PPCM and preeclampsia (PE) are two related diseases, although not directly. Both have similar pathophysiological mechanisms.Case Report: We present 25 pregnancy cases with PPCM at Dr. Soetomo Hospital within 3 years. Data were collected from January 2014 to December 2016, consisting of 5 PPCM cases and the other 20 cases were PPCM with PE cases.Conclusion: Pregnancy with PPCM-PE has higher morbidity than PPCM only. The diagnosis of PPCM should be established immediately if heart failure symptoms are found in the third trimester and the patient has risk factors, such as age >30 years, multigravida, obesity, and multiple pregnancy.

Abstract

Concrete is a very popular construction&nbsp; material, widely&nbsp; used in construction. The waste that is in the surrounding environment begins to be used for mixed materials in the manufacture of concrete, one of which is geothermal mud (geothermal sludge) which has pozzolanic properties because it contains alumina silica minerals so that it can be used instead&nbsp; of cement. Waste steel fiber tires used residue from vehicles is an added material that can be used to improve the mechanical properties of concrete. This study aims to determine the effect of adding geothermal mud and used steel fiber to concrete. Planned concrete fc '30 MPa with geothermal mud as partial substitution of 20% cement and used tire steel fibers with variations of&nbsp; 0%, 0.5%, 1% and 1.5% of the weight of concrete. Concrete Variation 4 (1.5% used tire steel fiber + 20% geothermal mud) has the highest compressive strength of 32.13 MPa compared to normal concrete of 30.006 MPa. For the splitting&nbsp; tensile strength variation 4 is 1.8 MPa and its flexural strength is 2.457 MPa while the normal concrete is splitting tensile strength of 1.6 MPa and its bending strength is 2.210 MPa.
