Abstract

Project scheduling system is of great importance in the implementation of construction project. To create an effective implementation of construction projects and efficient, all sorts of things should be well planned. In planning the construction of St. Elizabeth Hospital Building borromeous package 1 in Bandung , the author intends to carry out the project duration by accelerating simulation takes into account the magnitude of the project costs incurred. Authors applied the method to simulate the acceleration of crashing the project. In completing this final project, the authors use multiple sources of data, namely the curve S plan, budget plan (RAB), shop drawings projects, and interviews with experts. The research methods used in the final project is to design a network (network planning), calculate the amount of labor required, calculate the costs (direct costs) and indirect costs (indirect costs) on any activity that changes due to changes in the duration of implementation, acceleration duration of the implementation of each heading of work, calculation of cost slope, and the determination of cost and optimum duration of crashing as a result of the application of the method .Final results on Elizabeth Building Development projects RS . Santo Borromeous package 1 Bandung, crashing process is done in two scenarios in which each - each carried 11 times simulation. Based on the graph the relationship between time and cost, obtain the most optimal duration, ie the duration of the minimum total cost is the total project duration of 259 days on the job Crashing 10 occurred in the 1st floor with a slope that is equal to the value of cost Rp.1,861,065.00 per days. Shortening the duration of the Structural Work Level 1 for 7 days, from the normal duration Structural Work Level 1 by 77 days to 70 days . This causes a change in direct costs (direct costs) the normal duration of Rp.46.892.151.077, 89 increased by Rp.117.521.52, be Rp.47.009.672.594.89 , changes in indirect costs (indirect costs) the normal duration of Rp.1,484 .832.000,00 reduced by Rp.428.316.923,00 to Rp. 1,056,515,077.00 and the total cost of the changes from the normal duration of the cost Rp.48.376.983.077,89, reduced by Rp.310.795.400 becomes Rp.48.066.187.677,89. Changes in the cost of the total project cost of the project is equal to ± 0.64 % .

Abstract

The increasing of Indonesian population growth resulted the requirement of society in a whole aspects of life increase, including the requirement on transportation. Semarang-Solo highways is one of the thoroughfare in Central Java,  the volume of traffic that increasingly dense making it unable to accommodated by the highway. As a solution, the government through PT. Trans Marga Central Java build a toll road to connects the city of Semarang and Solo along 75.67 km. The development of Semarang-Solo toll road Semarang Bawen segment Penggaron-Bejii section using rigid pavement as early design of pavement. Evaluation results show this design have some weakness, so it needs the innovation of the pavement to minimize the shortage. Through value engineering stage is the stage of information, speculation, analysis, development, presentation and implementation found that alternative designs were selected for use on this highway is a system of precast prestressed concrete pavement (PPCP). Analysis results the system in the design of the project will reduce the execution time for 84 days or 21% of rigid pavement method.

Abstract

Optimization of time and cost is effort to use short time with minimum cost for reaching a job with good results and profits while still concern with quality of project. Crash Program analysis using addition of working hours, is intended to decrease working hours but it is still keeping the productivity number. The direct cost of the project will increase with the addition of working hours, but inversely proportional to the indirect cost of the project. Therefore, the purpose of this final project is to get optimization point between time and cost of the project, in order to get minimum cost to shorten project implementation time. Crash Program is one of scheduling method to shorten project implemention time. By using this program, earned critical path of a project to decide an acitivity that the implementation time can be shortened.

Abstract

Productivity is an important issue in the construction industry. It is directly related to the construction cost and duration of the work. Construction productivity is influenced by many factors, such as material, equipment and labor. Labor is the most important factor, since labor determines how the work is done. Labor productivity is influenced by the work methods, physical fatigue, work environment, capability, and complexity of the work. To improve labor productivity due to the work method, application of the principle of ergonomics is important to consider. This research was held in Yogyakarta included 10 construction projects and involve 30 labor of brick masonry work, 22 labor of ceramic instalation, and 24 labor of wall painting work. The application of ergonomics principles in the masonry work, plaster work, ceramic installation, and wall painting work show an increase in labor productivity by 28.49%, 16.22%, 21.47%, and 26.18% respectively. Compared with the National Standards of Indonesia (NSI) these productivity per job are higher by 10.34%, 57.89%, 12.72%, and 33.33%.
