Abstract

ABSTRACT This article focused on analyze and determine the effect of (1) consumption, investment, government spending, net exports, and inflation to the economic growth in Indonesia. (2) government spending, money supply, interest rates, inflation and economic growth to investment in Indonesia. (3) government spending, money supply, and interest rates on inflation in Indonesia. The form of time series data from the first quarter of years 2000-the fourth quarter of years 2011. This study uses simultaneous equation model analysis tools with Two Stages Least Squared method (TSLS). The result of research concludes that (1) consumption, investment and net exports significantly affect economic growth in Indonesia. With the meaning of the word, when consumption, investment, and net exports increased then it will have an impact on economic growth in Indonesia. However, government spending and inflation does not significantly influence economic growth in Indonesia. (2) Government spending, interest rates, inflation and economic growth a significant effect on investment in Indonesia. This means that the increase in government spending, economic growth, lower  interest rates and inflation will cause an increase to investment in Indonesia. However, the money supply has no significant effect on investment. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efek dari Baliho, Spanduk, Karangan bunga , dan Iklan Koran untuk Personal Branding Calon Walikota/ Wakil Walikota Padang periode 2014-2019 dalam perspektif mahasiswa UNP. Ukuran sampel adalah 180 siswa UNP. Sampel penelitian dipilih dengan menggunakan Metode Proporsional Cluster Random Sampling. Data dianalisis dengan uji statistik dengan menggunakan regresi Linear. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Baliho secara signifikan positif mempengaruhi personal branding Calon Walikota/ Wakil Walikota Padang periode 2014-2019, sedangkan Spanduk, Karangan Bunga, dan Iklan Koran tidak mempengaruhi personal branding mereka.This objective of the study was to analyze the influence the Ballyhoo, Banner, the Flowers Board, and the Newspaper Advertisement toward the Personal Branding of the Padang Mayor/ Vice Mayor Candidates in the period of 2014-2019 from UNP students’ perspective. Abstract

This objective of the study was to analyze the influence the Ballyhoo, Banner, the Flowers Board, and the Newspaper Advertisement toward the Personal Branding of the Padang Mayor/ Vice Mayor Candidates in the period of 2014-2019 from UNP students perspective. The samples were 180 UNP students. The samples were taken by proportional cluster random sampling. The data were analysed by statistical test of multiple linear regression. The results of the research showed that: the Ballyhoo gave positive and significant influence toward the Personal Branding of the Padang Mayor/Vice Mayor candidates in the period of 2014-2019, whereas the Banner, the Flowers Board, and the Newspaper Advertisement did not influence their Personal Branding.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of Single Tuition Fee System (STS) and Service Quality on Universitas Negeri Padang’s students’ intention to transfer to other universities. It also examines the correlation between Service Quality and STS in influencing the students’ intention to switch. The population of this study was 8,314 non-Bidikmisi Scholarship students from the class of 2013 and 2014. The sample size was determined by using Slovin formula, and it employed 400 students as the samples by using accidental sampling method. The data have been collected by using survey method with the questionnaires as the data collection method. This study analyzes the data by using path and correlation analysis. Before the main analysis, this study has conducted some preliminary analysis such as normality and multicollinearity test. The result of the research shows that: (1) the STS has a significant positive effect on students’ intention to transfer to other universities, (2) Service quality has a significant negative effect on students’ intention to transfer to other universities, and (3) There is a significant correlation between STS and service quality in influencing students’ intention to transfer to other universities. Some limitations and future study have been addressed.

Abstract

Islamic tourism is considered to have a very good prospect in the development of tourism in Indonesia, especially in the city of Padang. This assessment came about because of the culture of the people in the Islamic city of Padang. But despite the huge potential, there are still some problems related to the service. Whereas the implementation of good Islamic tourism is with the integration of various aspects of tourism services that exist. That is starting from the promotion of tourism, tourism service itself until the tourists are back again to their respective regions. Based on the background of the importance of Islamic tourism services in the tourist areas above, the activities of community service in the form of Islamic tourism service training is implemented, to provide insight into aspects of excellent service to tourists who make the tourist area more attractive and satisfying . As for the object of community service activities is the actors of tourism that deal directly with the tourists who come to the city of Padang. Namely the managers of travel bureaus, hotels, guides, guides, taxi drivers, and other parties. With the implementation of this activity, tourism actors have a good understanding of the concept and importance of Islamic Tourism, so they can integrate various tourist services to create a good Islamic tourism experience for tourists.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the principal leadership and the teacher competence consisting of pedagogic competence, personal competence, social competence, and professional competence on the performance of teachers in SMK City of Jambi. The population in this study was the teacher of existing productive fields in the SMK City of Jambi totaling 136 people. By using proportional random sampling technique analysis, the obtained of samples with the number of teachers is 94. The method of analysis used is path analysis, where the data acquisition is done through questionnaires, interviews, and literature as a reference for this study. The results showed that the influences of positive and significant the principal leadership and the teacher competence on performance of teachers in the productive field of SMK City of Jambi.   Keyword : Principal Leadership, Teacher Competence, Performance of Teacher.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of service quality and image of the cooperative to cooperative member participation in koperasi Plasma Sawit Bukit Sandiang Tigo Bawan Kab.Agam. The hypotheses were (1) the effect of service quality to the cooperative image,(2) the effect of service quality and  cooperative image to the participation of cooperative members. This research was descriptive associative. The population in this study was a cooperative member of the Koperasi  Plasma Bukit Sandiang Tigo Bawan Kab.Agam, totaling 73 people with the sampling technique was Proportional random sampling. The technique of data analysis was descriptive analysis, classical assumption test: test for normality and homogeneity, path analysis, and hypothesis testing using the F test and t test. The results showed that: 1) There was a significant influence on the quality of service to the cooperative's images, 2) There was a significant effect of service quality and cooperative image on the cooperative participation of cooperative members. Based on the above results it can be concluded that in order to increase the participation of cooperative members in Koperasi Plasma Sawit Bukit Sandiang Tigo Kab.Agam suggested to further improve service quality and image of the cooperative

Abstract

The type of this research is a associative deskriptive. Abstract

This study aims to find: (1). The results of the economic study which has high and low learning interest are taught using learning model two stay two stray higher than the use of conventional learning model, and (2). Interaction between the use of models of learning and students' interest in learning the results of the economic study. This type of research is experimental treatment by block, using two classes of experimental class is a class X.1 to X.2 control class is class, with a total sample of 55 students. Data collection techniques for interest in learning is done by spreading the research questionnaire before learning process is done. As for the results of such study in the form of multiple-choice test given at the end of the lesson. Data analysis techniques in the study include test requirements normality test and homogeneity test, while the results of hypothesis testing includes independent test samples T-test and two-way ANOVA. Results of this study concluded that: (1). Economic learning outcomes of students who are taught by learning model two stay two stray significantly higher than students taught by conventional learning models, (2). Economic learning outcomes of students who have a high interest in learning taught by learning model two stay two stray significantly higher than students taught by conventional learning models, (3). Economic learning outcomes of students who have low learning interest taught by learning model two stay two stray significantly higher compared to using conventional learning models and (4). There is no interaction between the cooperative learning model two stay two stray and interest in learning on learning outcomes of students. Abstract

The working satisfaction has the important for the on-going life of an organization, including the government organization, for that purpose an organization needs to pay attention to the factors which influence the work satisfaction of the employees. The objective of this research is to know and to analyze the effects of the communication variables of a leader, the compensation and the work motivation on the Work Satisfaction of the employees at Dinas Perhubungan Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Tanah Datar. This research includes the quantitative approach. The population of the research is 74 participants by using Slovin Formula 43 samples are obtained. The techniques of sampling is Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. The data was managed by using path technique analysis by the help of SPSS software. The result of the research shows that the leader communication, the compensation and the work motivation has significantly influence the employees’ work satisfaction. The suggestion for this research is to the related stakeholders to give the contribution on the increasing the work satisfaction for the employees to increase the working performance.
