Background: The Dengeue Hemoragic Fever cases in Indonesia have steadily increased from year to year. One reason is that the higher number of population causing the increase of mosquito breeding places of Aedes aegypti and larvae. One of the efforts to control the Aedes aegypti larvae is the use of herbal larvaeside the extract of tembelekan (Lantana camara) leaf. Objective: To find out the influence of the concentration of the extract of Tembelekan leaf on the mortality of Aedes aegypti larvae. Method: This study was quasi experimental design applying. After only with control design. The dependent vaiable of the study was the Aedes aegypti larvae mortality and the independent variables were the various concentrations tembelekan leaf extract (1 %, 3 % and 5%). The research was conducted by providing tembelekan leaf extract in various concentrations to the media containing 25 larvae. The larvae mortality was calculated after 24 hours with observation period of 0,5, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12 hours. Data were analyzed by descriptive and analytical ways. As the data were not normally distributed the Kruskal Wallis test was applied to measure the influence of concentration on the mortality of larvae. Results: Based on the results, the average mortality of Aedes aegypti larvae was found at concentrations as low as 1% with the mortality of 16.2 larvae or (64,8%) and the highest mortality was at a concentration of 5% with the mortality of 25 larvae (100%). Based on the analysis results obtained from Kruskal Wallis test, the p value = 0,000 (p<0,05) showing that ther was a significant influence of various concentrations of temebelekan leaf extract on the Aedes aegypti larvae mortality. Conclusion: There was a significant influence of various concentrations of tembelekan leaf extract on the Aedes aegypti larvae mortality. Keywords: Tembelekan leaf (Lantana camara), Aedes aegypti larvae. ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Peningkatan kasus Demam Berdarah Dengue dari tahun ke tahun terjadi di Indonesia. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah jumlah penduduk yang semakin tinggi yang mengakibatkan tempat perkembangbiakan nyamuk Aedes aegypti dan larva semakin meningkat. Salah satu upaya pengendalian larva Aedes aegypti dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan larvasida nabati ekstrak daun Tembelekan. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi ekstrak daun Tembelekan terhadap kematian larva Aedes aegpyti. Metode: Penelitian eksperimen kuasi ini menerapkan desain After Only With Control Design. Variabel terikat dalam penelitian adalah kematian larva Aedes aegypti dan variabel bebasnya adalah berbagai konsentrasi ekstrak daun Tembelekan (1%, 3%, dan 5%). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan memberikan ekstrak daun Tembelekan dengan berbagai konsentrasi pada media yang berisi 25 ekor larva kemudian dihitung kematian larva setelah 24 jam dengan waktu pengamatan 0,5, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12 jam. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan analitik. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi terhadap kematian larva menggunakan uji Kruskal Wallis karena data tidak berdistribusi normal.Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rata – rata kematian larva Aedes aegypti terendah terdapat pada konsentrasi 1% yaitu 16,2 ekor (64,8%) dan kematian tertinggi terdapat pada konsentrasi 5% yaitu 25 ekor (100%). Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji Kruskal Wallis diperoleh p value = 0,000 (p<0,05) artinya ada pengaruh yang bermakna berbagai konsentrasi ekstrak daun Tembelekan terhadap kematian larva Aedes aegypti.Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh yang bermakna berbagai konsentrasi ekstrak daun Tembelekan terhadap kematian larva Aedes aegypti.Kata Kunci: Daun Tembelekan (Lantana camara), larva Aedes aegypti.
