Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran konstruktivisme berbasis humanistik dengan metode Two Stay Two Stay berbantuan CD interaktif pada materi geometri dimensi dua yang valid; (2) mengukur efektifitas pembelajaran konstruktivisme berbasis humanistik dengan metode Two Stay Two Stray berbantuan CD interaktif pada materi geometri dimensi dua.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan modifikasi model 4-D (menjadi 3-D) dengan tahap-tahap: Define, Design, dan Develop. Jenis perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah Silabus, RPP, Buku Pegangan Peserta Didik, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD), CD Interaktif, dan Tes Prestasi Belajar (TPB).Subyek ujicoba penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X SMK N 11 Semarang tahun Pelajaran 2010/2011 , yang dibagi dalam tiga kelas, yaitu: 1 kelas uji coba soal TPB (32 peserta didik), 1 kelas kontrol (33 peserta didik) dan 1 kelas eksperimen (32 peserta didik). Data penelitian diperoleh melalui: (1) lembar validasi; (2) pengamatan; dan (3) tes prestasi belajar. Data-data tersebut digunakan untuk: (1) mengetahui kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran; dan (2) mengetahui efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran.Variabel aktivitas dan keterampilan proses sebagai variabel independen dan prestasi belajar sebagai variabel dependen. Data diolah dengan deskriptif, uji analisis uji banding, sample t.test dan uji pengaruh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) setelah melalui proses validasi dan revisi diperoleh perangkat pembelajaran berupa Silabus dengan rataan skor 3,82, RPP dengan rataan skor 3,82, Buku pegangan Peserta Didik dengan rataan skor 3,88, LKPD dengan rataan skor 3,75, CD Interaktif dengan rataan skor 3,72, dan  TPB dengan rataan skor 3,73 pada skor tertinggi 4 jadi dengan skor tersebut termasuk kriteria valid; (2) proses pembelajaran matematika konstruktivisme berbasis humanistik dengan metode Two stay Two Stray berbantuan CD interaktif pada materi Dimensi Dua efektif. Efektifitas ditandai dengan (a) Tercapainya KKM prestasi belajar peserta didik= 75 secara individual  80% dan klasikal  75; (b) Aktivitas dan keterampilan proses berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar sebesar 79,1%; dan (c) rata-rata prestasi belajar kelas eksperimen (81,88) lebih baik secara signifikan dari pada prestasi belajar kelas kontrol (70,91). Berdasarkan hasil  perangkat yang valid dan pembelajaran efektif menunjukkan pengembangan perangkat  tercapai. Kata Kunci: pengembangan perangkat, konstruktivisme, humanistik, Two Stay Two Stray, CD interaktif, Dimensi Dua.

Abstract

[English]: This paper describes how to develop a valid and reliable instrument for geometric creative thinking test based on the information processing taxonomy model. Using this model, geometry test can be classified in the level of creative thinking based on the information processing process of the mathematical knowledge they already have to solve problems according to the criteria at each hierarchical level. The development of the test instrument refers to Beyers (2011). A quantitative method was used to validate instruments through experts validation and instrument validation. The results showed that there was five geometry test that can be used to describe the student's creative thinking process at a different hierarchical level based on the information processing taxonomy. The results of this study can be a reference for teachers and other researchers to design mathematical test by paying attention to the hierarchical level of student's thinking abilities so that students with different abilities can solve problems which refer to their abilities. Keywords: Creative thinking,Geometry, Information processing taxonomy, Test design [Bahasa]: Artikel ini memaparkan tentang bagaimana menghasilkan instrumen yang valid dan reliabel untuk kemampuan berpikir kreatif geometris berdasarkan model taksonomi pemrosesan informasi. Dengan menggunakan model ini, soal geometri dapat diklasifikasikan dalam tingkatan berpikir kreatif siswa berdasarkan proses pengolahan informasi dari pengetahuan matematika yang telah mereka miliki untuk menyelesaikan masalah sesuai batas kriteria pada setiap tingkatannya. Pengembangan instrumen tes mengikuti langkah Beyers (2011). Metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk memvalidasi instrumen soal yang melalui tahap validasi ahli dan validasi instrumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat lima butir soal geometri yang dapat digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan proses berpikir kreatif siswa pada tingkatan hierarki yang berbeda berdasarkan model taksonomi pemrosesan informasi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan untuk guru maupun para peneliti lain untuk menyusun soal matematika dengan memperhatikan tingkatan hierarki kemampuan berpikir siswa agar siswa dengan berbagai kemampuan yang berbeda dapat mengerjakan soal sesuai dengan kemampuan yang mereka miliki. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan:  (1) kemampuan awal  literasi matematika dan metakognisi siswa, (2) keefektifan pembelajaran CMP berbantuan OneNote Class NoteBook, dan 3) kemampuan literasi matematika ditinjau dari metakognisi siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian mixed methods concurrent embedded. Subjek  penelitian  ini adalah siswa  kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Ungaran. Teknik pengambilan data dengan menggunakan tes, wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji statistik banding dan uji peningkatan gain. Hasil penelitian diperoleh (1) kondisi awal literasi matematika siswa rata-rata berada pada level yang rendah yaitu level 1 dan 2 serta metakognisi rata-rata berada pada level aware use; (2) diperoleh keefektifan pembelajaran yang ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata kemampuan literasi matematika siswa kelas eksperimen yang sudah tuntas yaitu memperoleh nilai minimal 68 mencapai 90%, kemampuan literasi matematika kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari pada kelas kontrol, peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematika kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol serta metakognisi siswa meningkat; dan (3) setelah  pembelajaran CMP berbantuan OneNote Class NoteBook, kondisi metakognisi siswa meningkat rata-rata berada pada level strategic use.  Kondisi literasi matematika siswa juga mengalami peningkatan pada level 3 ke atas sejalan dengan peningkatan metakognisinya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) to describe the quality of Means-Ends Analysis (MEA) learning in contextual nuances and (2) to analyze students' difficulties in Zalina's problems solving in terms of adversity quotient. The type of research used is mixed concurrent embedded model methods. The population of this study were students of class X MIPA SMA N 1 Gubug, Grobogan. The research subject was determined based on the adversity quotient category, namely quitter, camper, and climber. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, observation, tests, and interviews. The results showed that (1) contextual MEA learning is qualitatively and quantitatively qualified (2) students' problem solving abilities quittered to the point of understanding the problem and achieving the first problem solving indicator, the student camper could solve the problem until the stage of expressing the answer and achieving all solving indicators problem, climber students can solve the problem until the stage states the answer and reaches all the problem solving indicators.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the application of learning using social arithmetic teaching books by Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach based on Open-Ended problem. The research design used in this research is Research and Development with Plomp model. Subjects in this study were students of class VIII SMP Askhabul Kahfi academic year 2017 / 2018. Design implementation is using Posttest Only Control-Group Design. The analysis technique used in the form of analysis of expert validation results and effectiveness test. Post test results on the class performed by the action are compared to the non-action class to ensure, it is done by (1) Complete Test, (2) Different Test, and (3) Simple Linear Regression Test. The results of this study obtained data that (a) the average value of evaluation of classroom communication skills using mathematics learning tools 73.42 (μ> 70) and classical mastery of 76.6% (π> 75%); (b) the average rate of classes using the application of mathematics learning tools with RME approach based on open-ended problem (73.42) is greater than the class that does not use the application of mathematics learning tool with RME approach based on open-ended problem (64.57) and (c) from the regression test obtained tcount = 2.012, tcount (2.012)> ttable (1.99834). Based on the results of research and discussion, obtained the conclusion that (1) Arithmetic learning devices with RME approach developed valid is used based on the expert judgment. According to the results of small large class test, and (2) Arithmetic learning tools with RME approach developed effectively.

Abstract

Critical thinking helps students to study the problems systematically, face challenges with an organized, formulate innovative statements, and design original solutions. This research aims to describe the characteristics of development mathematics learning tools of GI model with scientific approaches, and examine the effectiveness of learning by using developed mathematics learning tools with scientific approach GI model's with character contain to improve critical thinking students'. This research method is R & D using 4-D models developed by Thiagarajan, Semmel & Semmel (1974) but in this research only used of three stages, namely: (a) definitions, (b) design, and  (c) development. Research data obtained by observation method, documentation, questionnaire, and test. All data were analyzed descriptively, except test analyzed by statistically using validity, reliability, level of difficulty and distinguishing test. Hard work in learning is the behavior of students who show serious effort in completing tasks, focus on lessons and try to find information about lessons. The results showed that development mathematics learning tools GI model with scientific approaches integrates between indicators of competency achievement with indicators of critical thinking skills accompanied with hard work character and learning tools with scientific approaches GI models with character contained showed a significant impact in improving critical thinking student.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the ability of mathematical literacy viewed from the student goal orientation in the Osborn Model with the REACT Strategy. The research method used is Mixed Methods with a concurrent embedded model of quantitative method become primary. The population in this study were all students of SMP N 14 Semarang. Meanwhile, the samples taken for this study were grade VII-I students using the Osborn Model learning with REACT Strategy (experimental class), and grade VII-E students using the Discovery Learning (control class) by purposive sampling, while  the subjects of the qualitative study were 6 selected students from class VII-I consisting of two students each in high, medium, and low mastery goal and performance goal. Data collection technique was done through quantitative data collection using tests, and qualitative data collection using questionnaires and interviews. The results showed: that the average test (tvalue = 4.03 > tvalue = 1.669), the different proportional test (zvalue = 2.04 > ztable = 1.64), the average difference test (tvalue = 3.45 > tvalue) = 1.669), and the different proportional tests (zvalue = 4.21 > ztable = 1.78) Based on the results of the study, therefore it can be concluded that literacy ability of students using the Osborn Model learning with REACT Strategy were better than the students who use Discovery Learning and students with mastery goals were able to master mathematical literacy ability very well compared to students with performance goals.

Abstract

The ability to think critically and mathematically is the most important goal taught in mathematics learning. The purpose of this study was: analyzing the increase in critical thinking skills, describing the increase in critical thinking skills in terms of self-efficacy, and describing the increase in critical thinking skills in terms of learning motivation. The type of research was mixed methods research, with a sequential explanatory strategy. The sample of this research was the VII-A grade students of Public Junior High School 8 Cirebon City. Data collection was done by test, observation, and interview. Quantitative data were obtained from tests, and qualitative data were obtained from observations and interviews. Quantitative results are then triangulated with qualitative data. The results showed that there was an increase in critical thinking skill through the ARIAS model; students with high self-efficacy had high critical thinking skills; students with medium self-efficacy had medium or low critical thinking skills. Students with low self-efficacy had medium or low critical thinking skill; learning motivation has a strong relationship with critical thinking. Students with high learning motivation have high critical thinking skills. Students with medium learning motivation have medium critical thinking skills. Students with low learning motivation have low critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study has the purpose of determining the quality of the learning using LAPS-Heuristic model with Guilford approach in achieving the students' mathematical communication skill and their skills patterns viewed from self-regulated learning (SRL). The research method used was a mixed method with an explanatory sequential design. The first stage was quantitative data collection, and it was done using questionnaires to categorized the subject and tests. The next stage was qualitative data collection, and it was done using triangulation techniques such as questionnaires, tests, and interviews. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that: the learning with the LAPS-Heuristic model with Guilford approach is categorized in a very good quality in achieving the mathematical communication, seen from the classical completeness of the experimental class which is more than 75%, the classical completeness is better, the average of mathematical communication skill is better, the n-gain increased in the medium category, the mathematical communication skills in subjects with high SRL tend to meet the aspects of writing information, making mathematical models, and drawing diagrams very well; subjects with moderate SRL tend to fulfill aspects of writing information, making mathematical models, and drawing diagrams quite well; subjects with low SRL tend to have lack aspects of writing information, making mathematical models and drawing diagrams.
