Abstract

Back pain becames a subjective problem as a respond to complex stimulation. There are so many factors influence like wight of loads, lifting frequency, and the way to lift the loads that is not property principal of ergonomic. The purpose of this research is to analize wight of loads, lifting frequency, the way to lift with back pain case of worker in Bandungan Traditional Market of Semarang Regency. There are 100 population of people in this research. By using purposive sampling method, writer has 32 people as sample. The writter uses explanatory research study with cross sectional approach. Fisher exact analyzing data is used with 0,05 value of accuracy. The result shows that there is a correlation between weight of loads, lifting frequency, way to lift the load and worker’s back pain in Bandungan Traditional Market of Semarang Regency with p value are 0,000; 0,04; 0,02. The writer suggest that the workers in Bandungan Traditional Market of Semarang Regency should property to lift the load ergonomicly method

Abstract

Penilaian prestasi kerja merupakan kegiatan controlling dalam manajemen perusahaan. Melalui penilaian prestasi kerja akan diketahui seberapa baik pekerja telah melaksanakan tugas-tugas yang dibebankan kepada pekerja, sehingga perusahaan dapat menetapkan balas jasa yang sepantasnya atas prestasi kerja tersebut. Unit pemadam kebakaran bertanggung jawab apabila terjadi kebakaran yang dapat mengakibatkan kerugian bagi perusahaan dalam bentuk hilangnya materi maupun aset. Tuntutan kerja memiliki tanggung jawab yang tinggi, para pekerja juga harus dituntut untuk memiliki semangat kerja dan motivasi kerja sehingga pekerja dapat berprestasi yang kemudian akan menghasilkan kinerja yang baik dalam rangka mencapai tujuan perusahaan serta menjaga eksistensi perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penilaian prestasi kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pekerja bagian pemadam kebakaran kantor pusat PT. X Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian explanatory research dengan pendekatan cross sectional, dengan sampel adalah total populasi sebanyak 72 orang yang merupakan seluruh pekerja unit pemadam kebakaran Kantor Pusat PT. X Jakarta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui metode angket pada subyek penelitian. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat dengan menggunakan uji regresi logistik. Hasil uji regresi logistik menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh antara penilaian prestasi kerja terhadap kinerja pekerja (p=0,007) dan ada pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pekerja (p=0,001) pada unit pemadam kebakaran PT. X Jakarta

Abstract

One of the negative effects from activity on coal yard location is air pollutant by coal dust. Coal dust that inhaled can caused the worker have lung function disorder risk. There are two prominent of lung function disorder that is restriction and obstruction. But there are also mixed disorder that compounding between restriction and obstruction. The purpose of this research was to analyze the correlation between total and inhaled coal dust amount and individual characteristic with lung function disorder of coal yard workers at PLTU X Jepara. This research was an observational study with cross sectional approach. The subjects of this study were all of workers in coal yard location by 40 persons as respondents. The result of this research showed that lung function disorder that happened in to the workers was restriction lung function disorder, which was from 35 respondents there were 25,7% were normal, 71,4% with light restriction and 2,9% with average restriction. Result from spyrometer tests showed that there was no obstruction and mixed lung function disorder for workers. The result of total dust amount in 5 locations using High Volume Sampler showed was dust amount is bigger than Threshold Limit Value. Based on Rank-spearman statistical tests, it was obtained the value of total dust amount (p-value = 0.001), and from the Pearson correlation test of inhaled dust amount (p-value = 0.000), smoking habit (p-value = 0.000), age (p-value = 0.533), nutrient status (p-value = 0.101) and exercise habit (p-value = 0.894). The conclusion of this study, there was a significant correlation between total dust amounts, inhaled dust amount and smoking habit with lung function disorder, whereas there was no correlation between age, nutrient status and exercise habit with lung function disorder.
