Abstract

This research aims to find out that do price, brand, and product quality influence consumer’s purchase interest of Isuzu Elf car brand, and also to analyze the most dominant factor in influencing consumer’s purchase interest of Isuzu Elf car brand in PT. Karya Zirang Utama Semarang. In the research, research population refers to all consumers in PT. Karya Zirang Utama Isuzu Semarang. The samples of the research are 44 respondents by using purposive sampling technique. Based on the research’s result, concluded that regression equality is as follow: Y = 0,130 + 0,249 X1 + 0,279 X2 + 0,359 X3 + e. According to statistic data analysis, the indicators in the research are valid and the variables are reliable. On classic assumption test, free multikolonieritas regression model, heteroskedastisitas is not happened, and it is distributed normally. The sequence is individually from each variable, and the most influential variable is product quality variable with regression coefficient 0,359, then brand variable with regression coefficient 0, 279, whereas the lowest influential variable is price with regression coefficient 0,249. The model equality has value as F counts 31,348 and with significance level 0,000, where F counts bigger than F table (2, 85) and with smaller significance level than α (0, 05), while value of T table 1,685 because T counts > T table then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It shows that variable independent in the research influential partially of dependent variable that is purchase interest. Karya Zirang needs to maintain the product quality and able to create new products with better quality, in order to can compete with another brand of diesel car

Abstract

In the last two decades, tin mining in Bangka Belitung Islands has operated in controversy, between groups who oppose the idea of unconventional mining and those expecting the mining to be carefully performed. This is as well as prioritizing sustainability principles. Amidst the controversy, the unconventional mining methods conducted by local people have been preserved. This writing has observed the miners’ perspective of their profession. This study used quantitative methods to explore the miners’ knowledge, context, behavior, and expectations of the politics of tin mining policies and its practices. The data analysis used was frequency table and Kendall’s Tau-b correlation by applying SPSS version 20 Program. This study found that miners were generally aware that the tin wealth in this region provided great contributions to the economy sector. They also realized that their mining broke the regulation and understood that the benefits they gained were less than that gained by businessmen. The miners’ behaviour also showed awareness that mining damages the environment. A behaviour of hesitation was shown in whether they were ready or not to change their profession, the easiness of finding another job, and whether the mining situation that they worked in should be forbidden or firmly dealt with. Nevertheless, the miners hope that recent conditions can be maintained rather than restricted. This study concluded that there were inconsistent political policies at the implementation level, strengthened by the weakness of law culture in society.

Abstract

Pendidikan mempengaruhi aspekaspek kehidupan manusia mulai dari segi ahlak, moral, pengetahuan hingga penghidupan seseorang di masa depan. Oleh karena itu pendidikan seharusnya menjadi salah satu prioritas utama dalam pembangunan, karena tingkat pendidikan masyarakat sangat mempengaruhi kualitas sumber daya manusia di suatu negara yang berdaulat. Sebagian diantara masyarakat Indonesia mengalami kemiskinan yang cukup memprihatikan sehingga terjadinya mata rantai pendidikan yang terputus. Oleh karena itu dengan adanya kegiatan IbM (IPTEK bagi Masyarakat), penulis mencoba berinisiatif untuk membuat sebuah wadah pembelajaran yang disebut Rumah Pendidikan dan Revolusi Mental bagi mereka yang kurang beruntung karena tidak memiliki orang tua, putus sekolah karena kekurangan biaya dan sebagai tindakan preventif dalam rangka menurunkan gejala vandalisme dan kriminalisme di Desa Balunijuk, Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, Indonesia. Rumah Pendidikan dan Revolusi Mental yang penulis sediakan dibuat dengan beberapa kluster kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh peserta dengan jumlah maksimal 20 peserta dan batas waktu efektif dua bulan. Metode observasi lapangan, wawancara dan survei langsung digunakan untuk mendapatkan gambaran deskriptif kualitatif dankuantitatif serta uji Wilcoxon dengan aplikasi SPSS versi 22 untuk mengetahui nilai kemampuan ilmu komputer sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan para peserta. Program ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia masyarakat perdesaaan dan memberikan kontribusi terhadap literatur pendidikan dalam bentuk publikasi ilmiah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengembangkan sebuah model untuk menganalisis kinerja perguruan tinggi swasta (PTS) yang dilihat dari aspek perolehan jumlah mahasiswa pada sekolah tinggi dan akademi di Semarang. Dengan masalah penelitian yaitu : bagaimana meningkatkan kinerja perguruan tinggi swasta melalui keunggulan bersaing? Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ketua program studi maupun pejabat struktural pada sekolah tinggi dan akademi di Semarang sejumlah 113 responden. Alat analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) pada program AMOS 17.0. Hasil pengujian dan analisis model menunjukkan bahwa tiga dari empat hipotesis penelitian dapat diterima, orientasi pasar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing, dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0.281, invoasi program (H2) berpengaruh postif tapi tidak signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing dengan nilai koefisien regresi 0,208 sehingga hipotesis ini ditolak, adaptabilitas lingkungan (H3) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing dengan nilai koefisien regresi 0.460, keunggulan bersaing (H4) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perguruan tinggi swasta, dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0.546. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa diantara ketiga faktor yang mempengaruhi keunggulan bersaing (orientasi pasar, inovasi produk dan adaptabilitas lingkungan), didapatkan bahwa adaptabilitas lingkungan merupakan faktor yang paling dominan pengaruhnya terhadap keunggulan bersaing. Implikasi manajerial yang dapat disarankan oleh penelitian ini adalah kebijakan yang menitikberatkan pada penerapan adaptabilitas lingkungan dan orientasi pasar pada perguruan tinggi swasta

Abstract

According to data compiled by the World Economic Forum, Indonesia's competitiveness is still below the competitiveness of other ASEAN countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam and Thailand. The cause is the indication of the relatively low level of innovation. Increased innovation is determined by the human resources owned by the organization. Innovation is an output from organizations that utilize input resources in the form of knowledge (knowledge), information and experience. Therefore, the key to success of an innovation lies in the knowledge and quality of human resources. Human resources here can not be separated from how the leadership of an entrepreneur in managing the business they digelutinya, so have a competitive advantage, especially in the era of the ASEAN Economic Community (MEA) today. The purpose of this study is to know and analyze: (1) the influence of entrepreneurial leadership on innovation capacity, (2) the effect of innovation capacity on competitive advantage, and how (3) the influence of entrepreneurial leadership on competitive advantage. The research respondents are 60 micro business actors in Bangka Regency spread over 5 districts, including Merawang, Mendo Barat, Puding Besar, Sungailiat and Belinyu. Collected data is processed by path analysis method (path analysis). The results showed that the entrepreneurial leadership variables influenced the capacity of innovation, as well as the variable capacity of innovation and entrepreneurial leadership variables also had an influence on competitive advantage in micro business in Bangka Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of services available at the health center of Mranggen in order to formulate a strategy to improve the quality of health services of Puskesmas by analyzing the importance and level of performance in six dimensions of service quality (Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy and Accessibility) to produce performance (performance) that can satisfy customers. The data analysis of this research was conducted by qualitative descriptive method, to answer the problem formulation about how to improve the quality of health service of Mranggen in accordance with the quality standard set by the Government, then used "Importance-Performance Analysis" with Cartesian diagram, the number of samples of this study 75 respondents taken from three Puskesmas available at Puskesmas Mranggen. The result of the research shows that the dimension of Responsiveness is the main priority to improve the quality of service because it has the highest importance of 81.3%, while the performance is still low with the level of conformity of 71%, while the next sequence based on the level of conformity is Assurance dimension, Accessibility, Tangibles, Reliability, and Empathy. Thus the whole health center Mranggen considered good enough from the level of customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The quality of public service performance has a broad impact in various parts live, especially to achieve public welfare. Therefore the efforts to improve public services must be conducted continuously by  Dinas Penanaman Modal Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu dan Tenaga Kerja (DPMPTSP NAKER) of Pangkalpinang. The Efforts to improve the quality of services must be conducted jointly, integrated, programmed, directed, and consistent by paying attention to the needs and expectations of the public, so that the services provided to the community can be given appropriately, quickly, cheaply, openly, simply and easily implemented. The purpose of the Community Satisfaction Index Survey preparation is to find out the performance of DinasPenanaman  Modal Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu dan Tenaga Kerja of Pangkalpinang which will be used as a basis for making and establishing policies in order to improve the quality of public services.The Survey of Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) is made refers to the provisions of  Peraturan Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi Republik Indonesia Number 14 Year2017 concerning Guidelines for Preparing the Community Satisfaction Survey of Public Service  Providers Units of at least 9 SKM Elements. The respondents of the survey were the people who were applying for licensing at DPMPTSP NAKER of Pangkalpinang amounted to 224 people. The Community Satisfaction Index Survey is collaborating with University of Bangka Belitung through the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), which is formulated through a cooperation agreement with the service provider of Dinas Penanaman Modal Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu dan Tenaga Kerja of Pangkalpinang.Based on the results of the IKM survey with 9 elements, obtained the value of the service element which has the lowest value is the element of Requirement (U1) with a value of 3.193 and the element that has the highest value is the Cost / Tariff (U4) of 3.767. The community satisfaction survey in the DinasPenanaman Modal Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu dan Tenaga Kerja of Pangkalpinang with a weighted NRR of 3.374 was converted into the public satisfaction index at a service unit of 84.36, which was categorized into B or good.Keywords: Community Satisfaction Index, Public Satisfaction, Public Service

Abstract

This research discussed domestic tourists' perception of tourism destination in Pangkalpinang, Indonesia. It has been formed a perception index using PCA with determined indicators such as accessibility, supporting facilities, the prices of snacks and security. The result indicates that most of the visitors have good perceptions of tourism destinations in Pangkalpinang. Nevertheless, there is an aspect that should be evaluated; it is about the availability of toilets at those tourist destinations. There is 53 percent of domestic tourists tell that there is no access to public toilet. Therefore, this research describes stakeholder to understand the existing condition and make an improvement in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of innovation capacity on the competitive advantage of MSMEs as well as to determine differences in innovation capabilities based on a gender perspective. Research respondents were 60 micro business operators in Bangka Regency. Methods of data collection through questionnaires and interviews. Data were processed using linear regression analysis and the Mann-Whitney Test. The results showed that the capability of innovation had a significant effect on the competitive advantage of microbusinesses in Bangka Regency. In terms of gender, there was no difference in innovation capabilities between male and female microenterprise entrepreneurs in Bangka Regency. Keywords: innovation capacity, competitiveness, gender
