Abstract

Sesame is recognized as healthy potential oil crops because can be used to control several diseases. Sesame can grow properly in light soil structure such as sandy coastal soil, however sandy soil is considered as unfertile one and therefore environmental friendly fertilizer application based on dung manure must be studied. The research toinvestigate the influence of application times of mixed fertilizer on the growth sesame in quality growth in coastal sandy soil both at rainy and dry seasons, therefore the experiment directly to the sandy field at the sandy coastal area of Keburuhan, Purworejo, Central Java. From the first stage, it could be said that the application of mixed fertilizer between chicken manure and inorganic fertilizer increasing tochlorophyll content, net assimilation rate, root volume sesame both in rainy and dry seasons.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektivan metode pembelajaran ceramah denganmedia animasi dan metode demonstrasi pada mata pelajaran trasmisi manual kelas XI SMKTamtama Kroya Cilacap. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jeniseksperimen semu (Quasi experiment). Teknik sampling yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalahrandom sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui metode tes. Teknik analisis data yangdilakukan adalah analisi deskriptif dan uji prasayarat analisis dengan uji normalitas, ujihomoginitas, serta uji hipotesis dengan Uji-T Sampel independen (independent t-Tes) dan Uji-TSampel Berkorelasi (piared t-Test). Hasil penelitian siswa kelas eksperimen sesudah menggunakanmetode pembelajaran ceramah dengan media animasi memperoleh nilai rata-rata 73.75 dansiswa kelas kontrol sesudah menggunakan metode demonstrasi memperoleh nilai rata-rata 67.88artinya ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara metode pembelajaran ceramah dengan mediaanimasi den metode demonstrasi, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa metodepembelajaran ceramah dengan media animasi lebih efektiv dibandingkan dengan metodedemonstrasi.Kata kunci : Keefektivan, Metode pembelajaran, Animasi, Demonstrasi.

Abstract

System and management of urban development, whih its concept is environmental outlands, is hughly depended on the accuracy of data and information. To comply with the deamnd it is neede the availability of integrated urban information which is loaded by relevance, validity, reliability, and timely. The information mode meant, includes 1) information dimension of spatial unit; 2) identification of user information k.e: who needs  the information and on what stage the information shall be used; 3) identification of information requirement of every stage developer; 4) AMDAL of the developed urban area. Input of data and information are achieved by remote sensing on orthophoto as the outcoming of this activity are geometrical and semantical data.

Abstract

Land is natural resources within processing needs to the wise action in order to give good returns for human and being prevented it’s conservation. In the utility of it’s land this land is proper to the agriculture land have sometime emergedthe environment problems, namely the balance of nature is disturbed. It doesn’t mean that land is forbidden to use, but in the it’s utility purposes this land must be considered it’s capability or it’s balance. If form and manner of using this land doesn’t disturb the natural balance, it means to be guaranted. In the countrary, if form and remain to be guaranted. In the contrary, if form and manner of  using this land disregard with it’s capability, then the natural balance is disturbed, the land is called asland within dangerous condition or critical land. The coresponding  problem that arises in Kecamatan Cepogo under Boyolali district on the surface level land and southern land resembles the critical land that the most erosion appearance can be found assuch sheet erosion, gully erosion, erosion in the other side, vallage forest, settlement land. Mixing estate and the infertile land. This recent exploration purpose is to understand physical factor that affects the critical land as well as to collect and to clarity the critical land. The used method is survey and laboratory analysis by land unit approach ascartography unit. The adopted data of this research is used the effectively width of soil, texture, soil permeability, soil slope, and soil appearance. From this research is understood that the explorated land has three critical land levels, namely; the medium critical land level is 4411,09 are or 17,48%, the wight critical soil level is 7909,74 are or 12,86% of the whole exploration area wide.

Abstract

The research held on Sub DAS of Gobeh, Wonogiri Regency, have the aims to kno about class and sub-class of land capability in the research area. The other aim is to know about some area developed to the farming land, and to evaluate about land apability currently. The method used in this research is field-survey method, including about observation, measurenment, reording, and laboratory analysis. The sampling method applied in this research is stratified sampling, with land unit stratum. Measurenment and recording in the field inluding about degree of slope, erosion level, soil-deepening, drainage, stone or gravel and flood hazard. The laboratory analysis including about land erodibility, texture, and permeability. The research result identify that, researh fields have three lanf form unit, they are the fluvio volanic foot plain of old Lawu vulcan area flat relief slightly dissected, the fluvio volcanic foot plain of old Lawu mountain area rolling relief medium dissected, and flat foot plain unit can be separated to thirty two land unit. Land capability of the research field identify between level II to level VII. The wide of each land capability are, level II 3 – 8 Ha (2,4%), level III 38,18 Ha (23,7%), level IV 10 Ha (6,33%), level V 107,62 Ha (66,8%), level VII 1,2 Ha (0,75%).

Abstract

There are three aims on this research: to determine  about the level of farming land capability and the sub class of farming land capability, to determine the area that posible to developed for farming land, to evaluate about farming land capability for landuse in the sub district of Boyolali Regency. The methods used in this research is observation in the field and laboratory with land unit approach as a standard  of mapping. The data collected from this research is degree of slope, erosion sensibility, erosion level, solum, texture, permeability, drainage, gravel/ pebble, and the flood hazard. The result of this research showed that the research area has II to VI land capability. Land capability II: 750 Ha (25,1%), III: 1308,1 Ha (43,7%), IV: 250 Ha (8,3%), V: 386,5 Ha (13%), VI: 299 Ha (10%). The dominant restriction is the soil moisture that consist of permeability and drainage.

Abstract

(Sesamum indicumL.) is one of important vegetableoil cropsin theworld. Indonesian local sesame cultivars in use today still have indeterminate growth types that cause simultaneous harvest, narrow adaptability and lower yield. Stage of the research is to see dynamics growth type of sesame due to environmental change and to find morphological and biochemical selection criteria of determinate growth cultivar. This study uses a factorial completely randomized design consisting of three replications. The first factor is six cultivars of sesame, two types of determinate growth type cultivar introduced from Turkey III Det 23, III Det 36 and four indeterminate growth type cultivars Sbr 3, Sbr 4, white local and black local. The second factor is six environments that combine various combinations of temperature and several concentrations of NaCl as salinity stress. The results showed that the environment combined heat stress temperature and salinity affect growth type of sesame. Heat stress makes longer vegetative phase and salinity stress causes black local genotype changed to determinate growth type. III det 23 and III det 36 were considered as stable determinate cultivar and best used as a parent crossing in sesame breeding program.

Abstract

Shrimp is a commodity that is increasingly in demand. The limited land resources implies the need of effective land use planning. The objective of this study was to assess land suitability for brackish water shrimp ponds, which then will be recommended for pond development in the north coast of Tuban, Indonesia. Analytical hierarchy process (AHP) were used to obtain the weight of the different criteria consisted of soil characteristics, topographic, water quality, and infrastructure criteria. The suitable land for brackish water shrimp ponds was determined by weighted overlay in GIS. The results show that the study area contains highly suitable land for brackish water shrimp ponds. Land use and land cover map was interpreted from 2014 SPOT 5 imagery. The area recommended for brackish water shrimp pond wasdelineated by taking into account the suitability and the constraints of land use and land cover.

Abstract

Dalam rangkaian program pemuliaan tanaman untuk meningkatkan produktivitas wijen, informasi keragaman dan hubungan antar sifat sangat penting untuk menentukan keberhasilan seleksi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian untuk mengetahui besarnya keragaman genetik pada komponen hasil dan hasil wijen, serta mengetahui komponen hasil yang berpengaruh langsung terhadap hasil wijen merupakan kajian yang sangat penting. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2012 di Padangan, Sitimulyo, Piyungan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), dengan bahan tanam adalah benih tetua SBR3, SBR2, Turki DT36, F1 dan F2 hasil persilangan antara SBR3 x SBR2, SBR3 x Turki DT36, SBR2 x Turki DT36 dan resiproknya. Benih ditanam secara rapat pada petak-petak sesuai dengan galurnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komponen yang memiliki keragaman besar secara berturut-turut yaitu berat biji per tanaman (68,43%), berat polong (40,532%), jumlah cabang (33,251%), jumlah polong (30,269%), tinggi tanaman (21,256%), dan jumlah ruas (15,511%). Nilai heritabilitas tinggi terdapat pada tinggi tanaman (65,52%) dan umur panen (55,00%). Nilai heritabilitas sedang terdapat pada jumlah ruas (21,91%), umur berbunga (44,68%), berat biji per tanaman (27,05%). Komponen hasil yang berkorelasi positif nyata terhadap hasil adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang, jumlah polong, berat polong, jumlah ruas, dan umur berbunga. Komponen hasil yang memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap hasil adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah polong, berat polong, umur berbunga, dan berat 1000 biji. Kelima komponen hasil tersebut dapat dijadikan indek seleksi terhadap hasil.
