Abstract

Nuclear reactors is one of systems that have complex characteristics. To control the reactor power optimally, it needs an effective and efficient control system design. Optimal control system is designed based on the method of state feedback to provide optimum control signal based on predetermined performance index. Nuclear reactor dynamics are modeled by mathematical equations as an approach to model of real reactor. Power reactor to be controlled is modeled by a point kinetics method with one group of delay neutrons. Optimal control system design and simulation of the response of a nuclear reactor is accomplished using  MATLAB. In the Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) control scheme with various value of q and r, the fastest response of control system in order to regulate output of the system occur at q=0,0001 and r=20. In the LQI control scheme with various value of wo, the fastest response of the system to reach the reference occur at wo=1 where q=0,0001 and r=10. LQG control scheme with Tracking System is able to make the reactor power output to set point after the disturbance applied to system. Keyword :   Nuclear Reactor, Optimal Control, Kalman Filter

Abstract

Information system is a set of components that interconnect, collect, process, store, and distribute information to support decision making and supervision within an organization. Today the information system can not be separated with computer technology that feels growing rapidly along with our increasingly complex needs. These developments can be seen from the many organizations or institutions in various fields that use computerized systems to perform various jobs quickly and with great accuracy. The use of computerized systems is expected to minimize errors made by humans thereby reducing large losses. And can mengefisienkan time in completing the work quickly and accurately. One concept of building a computerized information system is dengfan MVC model. Model-View-Controller (MVC) is a concept introduced by the inventor of Smalltalk (Trygve Reenskaug) to encapsulate data along with processing (model), isolate from the process of manipulation (controller) and view to be represented on a user interface . The MVC architecture has the benefit of separating between model and view allowing multiple views using the same model. As a result, an application model component is easier to implement, test, and maintain, because all access to the model runs through this component. One of the frameworks that works based on the MVC concept is Codeigniter. Codeigniter is an open source web application framework that is used to build dynamic php applications. The main purpose of Codeigniter development is to help developers to work on applications faster than writing all the code from scratch. Because of the superiority of codeigniter that the system of practical work administration and the final task is built using the framework..

Abstract

The realization of the On-Off control system can be built using the comparator principle. The principle has a weakness that is the possibility of chattering due to 'thin' limit of comparator switching. Low immunity to noise increases chances of chattering, if not anticipated it will cause 'fatigue' on actuator thus reducing component’s lifetime. Hysteresis has features to suppress chattering. This article describes how to realize the hysteresis On-Off controller using Operational Amplifier (Op-Amp) which is simple and cheap discrete electronics component, by modifying the Op-Amp comparator circuit so that it has the hysteresis band with minimum and maximum limit variable so that the reference point of the comparator can be shifted.

Abstract

Iman Setiono, Dista Yoel Tadeus, in this paper explain that physics is a branch of behavior and experimental studies. In studying the nature, physics uses mathematical language to model natural phenomena in a mathematical context. In physics research, mathematical abilities are needed as student’s initial abilities in solving Physics problems. This study aims to study the relationship between courses in applied physics and courses that are the basis of developing competencies. The method used is the method of documentation and analysis using quantitative descriptive. The object of this study was students for physics subjects from student learning outcomes of student KHS grades. The results obtained from an integrated analysis provide strong results between learning outcomes and the ability of other subjects.

Abstract

Dista Yoel Tadeus, Iman Setiono, in this paper explain that temperature regulation is one of the most important needs for the industry. Lots of processes and production are carried out under certain temperature conditions and free from interference. Industrial temperature controller is one of the basic equipment to meet these needs. On the market there are various types, specifications, and brands of temperature controllers, but have similarities with one another mainly lies in the basic functions of temperature regulation capabilities. This article describes the background of industrial temperature controllers principal, also covers control concepts, basic controller configurations, control methods, actuator equipment support, and examples of sensor parameter settings and controls on the Autonics TC4S series temperature controllers.

Abstract

Device for controlling liquid/water level using the floatless method uses the character of liquid conductivity as an electric current carrying medium. Excitation voltage is generated by the controller and passed to the electrode through an insulated conductor cable. The electrode is submerged in a tank or liquid storage vessel and directly becomes the lower limit and upper limit of the liquid level. Omron 61F is one of the industry-standard floatless control devices that is simple, compact and relatively inexpensive and easily available on the market. Some applications for controlling liquid levels such as water supply and drainage can be done easily and simple wiring. Omron 61F provides a variety of controller types that are tailored to the application conditions and the type of liquid used, ranging from purified clean water, dirty water, salt water, to several types of acidic liquids.

Abstract

Ikan hias dan vegetasi air memiliki rentang toleransi terhadap nilai parameter lingkungan. Parameter tersebut hendaknya senantiasa diawasi demi kelangsungan hidupnya. Internet of Things (IoT) telah dimanfaatkan sebagai sistem monitoring dan otomasi parameter lingkungan ikan dan vegetasi air namun sistem ini membutuhkan biaya yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan suatu model sistem monitoring berbasis IoT berbiaya rendah untuk memberikan informasi parameter pH dan kekeruhan air setiap saat kepada pemilik ikan hias. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan komponen opensource dan sensor berbiaya rendah. Data monitoring digunakan untuk mengaktifkan aktuator berupa filter air. Filter akan aktif apabila tingkat kekeruhan air sudah melebihi batas kekeruhan yang ditentukan. Pengujian kekeruhan air aquarium menunjukkan saat kekeruhan mencapai 3000 ntu pukul 14.12 pompa aktif dan filter bekerja sampai kekeruhan berada pada nilai 498 ntu pada pukul 17.00 dan pompa mati secara otomatis. Nilai pH dan kekeruhan air berhasil ditampilkan dengan baik di aplikasi Blynk pada ponsel. Hasil pengujian menyimpulkan bahwa sistem monitoring yang dikembangkan telah berhasil diimplementasikan dengan baik.  Ornamental fish and aquatic vegetation have a tolerance range of environmental parameter values. These parameters should always be monitored for survival. Internet of Things (IoT) has been utilized as a monitoring and automation system for environmental parameters of fish and aquatic vegetation, but this system requires high costs. The purpose of this study is to develop a low-cost IoT-based monitoring system model to provide information on pH parameters and water turbidity at any time to ornamental fish owners. This system is built using opensource components and low-cost sensors. Monitoring data is used to activate the actuator in the form of a water filter. The filter will active if the turbidity level of water has exceeded the specified turbidity limit. The aquarium water turbidity test showed that when the turbidity reached 3000 ntu at 14.12 the pump was active and the filter worked until the turbidity was at 498 ntu at 17.00 and the pump automatically shut down. The pH value and the turbidity of the water were successfully displayed in the Blynk application on the cellphone. The test results concluded that the monitoring system developed was successfully implemented.

Abstract

Salah satu bentuk kegemaran yang mudah dijumpai di masyarakat Indonesia adalah memelihara ikan hias dalam akuarium atau kolam. Salah satu aktivitas rutin yang dilakukan dalam memelihara ikan hias adalah pemberian pakan. Umumnya pemberian pakan dilakukan secara manual oleh manusia sehingga ada potensi ketidakakuratan dan siklus yang tidak periodik. Alat pemberi pakan otomatis dalam penelitian ini diusulkan sebagai salah satu solusi dalam mengatasi persoalan tersebut. Perancangan sistem keseluruhan terdiri dari empat bagian yaitu: catu daya, pengendali, aktuator servo, dan perangkat lunak program. Catu daya merupakan sumber daya untuk menjalankan seluruh sistem yang terdiri dari tegangan AC yang disearahkan menjadi DC. Pengendali berupa rangkaian elektronik yang didesain sedemikian rupa sehingga dapat berfungsi sebagai pengolah data berbasis mikrokontroler ATmega 8535. Aktuator servo berfungsi untuk mengatur buka tutup pada alat pemberi makan ikan. Perangkat lunak berfungsi sebagai implementasi logika di dalam perangkat mikrokontroler. Hasil pengujian menunjukan hasil sesuai yang diharapkan yaitu dapat memberikan pakan ikan secara otomatis pada waktu yang telah ditentukan. Kuantitas pakan yang dikeluarkan dalam waktu buka 1 detik, rata-rata sebesar 1,3 gram dan untuk waktu buka 2 detik, rata-rata sebesar 5 gram.Kata kunci : Pakan ikan otomatis, ATmega8535.
