Abstract

Wayang merupakan salah satu kekayaan budaya bangsa Indonesia yang telah diakui dunia. Namun eksistensinya di negara sendiri semakin tidak diminati terutama oleh para generasi muda. Hal tersebut diduga oleh karena kurangnya dilakukan upaya pembiasaan pada usia dini mereka. Kegiatan ini berupaya untuk mengenalkan wayang pada usia dini, yakni anak usia TK di Kota Semarang, melalui guru sebagai khalayak kegiatan dalam pengembangan kurikulum dan media pembelajaran. Adapun tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah: 1) Meningkatkan kemampuan guru TK di Kota Semarang dalam mengembangkan kurikulum (materi) pembelajaran wayang, (2)Meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru TK di Kota Semarang dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran wayang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah metode ceramah, peragaan, dan latihan pratek yang didukung dengan demonstrasi dan tanya jawab. Berdasarkan pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan ini dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: 1) Kegiatan pelatihan dapat berjalan sesuai sasaran yang diharapkan tanpa kendala yang berarti. 2) Kegiatan pengabdian ini merupakan salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru TK dalam mengembangkan kurikulum dan media pembelajaran wayang guna menunjang pembelajaran di Taman Kanak-kanak. 3) Kegiatan ini juga telah memberikan pemahaman pada guru tentang model pembelajaran wayang sebagai alternatif di TK. Dapat disampaikan saransaran: 1) Kepada peserta pelatihan, agar dapat menerapkan di sekolah tempat mengajar masing-masing tentang pengetahuan dan keterampilannya yang didapatkan dalam pelatihan ini. 2) Kepada penyelenggara pendidikan khususnya TK, agar senantiasa berupaya mengembangkan profesionalisme guru dalam pengembangan kurikulum dan media pembelajaran wayang 3) Kepada tim PPM UNNES, agar melakukan kegiatan pelatihan yang sama di wilayah lain sehingga pengetahuan dan keterampilan serupa dapat lebih meluas. 4) Kepada Jurusan Seni Rupa FBS UNNES, agar menindak lanjuti hasil kegiatan ini dalam bentuk penelitian yang secara khusus mengkaji sejauh mana guru dapat membelajarkan wayang dan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran wayang di TK. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang dilakukan di kelas VII-2 SMP Negeri 18 Bulukumba yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar matematika pada pokok bahasan aljabar dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Problem based learning (PBL) sebagai aplikasi pendekakatan saintifik siswa kelas VII-2 SMP Negeri 18 Bulukumba Kabupaten Bulukumba.Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-2 SMP Negeri 18 Bulukumba pada semester ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 29 Orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar, observasi dan tanggapan siswa dari angket yang diberikan. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif.Hasil yang dicapai setelah dianalisis yaitu (1) pada Siklus I, diperoleh skor rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa sebesar 66,14 dengan standar deviasi 13,90, dari skor ideal yang mungkin dicapai yaitu 100 dan berada pada kategori tinggi, (2) pada siklu II, diperoleh skor rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa belajar siswa sebesar 81,21 dengan standar deviasi 10,94 dari skor ideal yang mungkin dicapai yaitu 100 dan berada pada kategori tinggi. Hal ini berarti terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar matematika berdasarkan skor rata-rata dari siklus I ke Siklus II (3) Jumlah siswa yang tuntas belajar pada siklus I sebanyak 13 orang (44,83)% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 24 orang (82,76)% dan (4) Sikap siswa terhadap pendekatan yang dilakukan meningkat dilihat dari respon siswa dari situasi yang diberikan pada siklus I ke siklus II. Dari hasil penelitian ini, secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar matematika pada pokok bahasan aljabar dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) sebagai aplikasi pendekatan saintifik siswa kelas VII-2 SMP Negeri 18 Bulukumba kabupaten Bulukumba Kata Kunci : Hasil Belajar Matematika, Aljabar, Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Saintifik ABSTRACTThis research is Classroom Action Research conducted in class VII-2 of SMP Negeri 18 Bulukumba which aims to determine the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes on the subject of algebra by applying the Problem based learning (PBL) learning model as the application of scientific students to class VII-2 of Bulukumba State Middle School 18 Bulukumba Regency.The subjects of this study were students of class VII-2 of SMP Negeri 18 Bulukumba in the odd semester 2018/2019 Academic Year totaling 29 people. Data retrieval is done by using test results of learning, observation and student responses from the questionnaire given. The collected data is then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively.The results achieved after being analyzed were (1) in Cycle I, obtained an average score of students' mathematics learning outcomes of 66.14 with a standard deviation of 13.90, from the ideal score that might be achieved is 100 and is in the high category, (2) on cycles II, the average score of mathematics learning outcomes of students learning was obtained at 81.21 with a standard deviation of 10.94 from the ideal score that might be achieved which is 100 and in the high category. This means there is an increase in mathematics learning outcomes based on the average score of cycle I to Cycle II (3) The number of students who complete the study in the first cycle as many as 13 people (44.83)% and in the second cycle increased to 24 people (82, 76)% and (4) The attitude of students to the approach taken increases seen from the response of students from the situation given in cycle I to cycle II. Abstract

Semarang mangrove batik is the results of development and exploration of batik based on coastal environment especially mangrove forests. This has become a potential development of coastal batik, both as a coloring medium and as an idea to develop batik motifs. The study using qualitative method resulted in findings (1) mangrove waste, especially fruit, leaves, and stems producing different colors, can be used as eco-friendly batik coloring material which has soft, and classic monochromatic color characteristics. (2) Mangroves are also a source of ideas for developing motives with various variants of motifs, as well as motifs of trees and mangrove roots. (3) Utilization of mangrove waste as a dye for environmentally friendly batik is a manifestation of nature conservation which has an impact on the cultivation and maintenance of mangrove plants.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe role of nitrogen in the process of photosynthesis is very important. It affects the growth, development and yield, especially leaves. Lemon grass produces citronella oil that contained in the leaves. One of the efforts to increase leaves yield is by application of N fertilizer. The aims of this research were to obtain optimal N dosage to improve herbage yield and quality of lemon grass. The research was conducted in Manoko Research Station, Lembang West Java from April - December2014. Using randomized block design, with 4 replicates and 6 treatments. The treatments consisted of 0; 2,3; 4,6; 6,9; 9,2 and 11,5 g N/plant. Lemon grass used from G3 accession. Parameters observed included plant growth (height and number of tillers), yield (fresh and dry herbs weight, and oil yield), and quality (yield, oil and citronella content). The results showed that N application significantly increased the growth, yield, and quality of lemon grass. Application of 4,6 g N/plant of N was optimum dosage for plant height and tiller number, total yield of herbage fresh weight (2904.46 g/plant) and leaves dry weight (1574.83 g/plant), yield (1.55%), oil content (2.06%), citronella content (41.59%). The best yield of citronella was obtained from aplplication of 6,9 g N/plant.Keywords: Cymbopogon nardus L., nitrogen, yield, citronella content PENINGKATAN PRODUKSI HERBA DAN MUTU SERAI WANGI DENGAN PENAMBAHAN NITROGENABSTRAKPeranan nitrogen dalam proses fotosintesis sangat penting antara lain berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan, perkembangan dan produksi daun tanaman. Tanaman serai wangi merupakan tanaman yang menghasilkan minyak sitronela yang terdapat di dalam daun. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi daun adalah dengan penambahan nitrogen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh dosis N optimal dalam meningkatkan produksi herba dan mutu sitronela pada serai wangi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapang yang dilakukan di Kebun Percobaan Manoko, Lembang Jawa Barat dari bulan April – Desember 2014. Rancangan yang digunakan rancangan acak kelompok, dengan 4 ulangan dan 6 perlakuan. Perlakuan pupuk N dengan dosis 0; 2,3; 4,6; 6,9; 9,2 dan 11,5 g/tan. Tanaman serai wangi yang digunakan dari aksesi G3. Pengamatan meliputi pertumbuhan tanaman (tinggi dan jumlah anakan), produksi (bobot segar dan kering herba), dan mutu (rendemen, kadar sitronela, dan hasil minyak). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian N berpengaruh nyata meningkatkan pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman dan jumlah anakan, produksi, dan mutu serai wangi. Nitrogen dengan dosis 4,6 g/tanaman merupakan dosis optimum untuk menghasilkan pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman dan, total produksi herba segar (2.904,46 g/tan) dan kering (1.574,83 g/tan), rendemen (1,55%), kadar minyak (2,06%), dan kadar sitronela (41,59%) terbaik. Produksi minyak serai wangi terbaik pada pemberian N sebesar 6,9 g/tanaman.Kata kunci: Cymbopogon nardus L., nitrogen, produksi, kadar sitronela.

LOCALITY IN CONSTRUCTING CULTURAL IDENTITY (A REVIEW ON SEMARANG BATIK ART)

Abstract

In the context of identity, batik is a form of expression of art with unique features that become the identity or may potentially become a cultural identity for either local or national identity. As the capital of Central Java, Semarang has built an identity through batik that depicts Semarang as having a batik culture. The construction of identity in Semarang batik began from searching for local identities by related actors, either personal or communities or organizations, who collectively explore ideas from locality. Locality includes natural, physical, and social-cultural environments. Through creativity in batik art, those ideas are conveyed in innovation and production of distinctive batik that is Semarang-style batik. This distinction represents Semarang locality that forms Semarang identity. The identity that is created as a product of that culture is continuously developed and preserved through enculturation by education in families, schools, and the society.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Peran kegiatan pramuka untuk pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa SMA Negri 1 sinjai borong (2) Peran kegiatan Palang Merah Remaja untuk pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa SMA Negri 1 sinjai borong (3) Peran kegiatan Seni. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negri 1 sinjai borong yang di laksanakan pada tanggal 20 januari 2016. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang menghasilkan prosedur analisis yang tidak menggunakan prosedur analisis statistic atau cara kuantifikasi lainnya. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan melalui proses kegiatan observasi dan wawancra. hasil penelitian ini Peran kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dalam menumbuhkan kedisiplinan siswa di SMA Negri 1 Sinjai borong yang utama adalah dijadikan sebagai salah satu wadah yang menarik bagi siswa untuk memanfaatkan waktu luang yang sebaik-baiknya. Ekstrakurikuler di SMA Negri 1 Sinjai Borong juga di jadikan sebagai upaya menumbuhkan disiplin siswa disamping banyaknya permasalahan yang terjadi disekolah baik dari pelanggaran disiplin dan kenakalan remaja. Oleh sebab itu, salah satu solusi dari sekolah yaitu dengan pengembangan dan pembinaan peserta didik melalui berbagai kegiatan ekstrakulikuler. Ekstrakurikuler berperang penting dalam menumbuhkan disiplin siswa dikarenakan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dianggap kegiatan yang menarik bagi siswa sehingga melalui kegiatan ekstrakulikuler siswa dapat dilatih dengan mudah dan dibiasakan untuk disiplin dengan mematuhi tata tertib yang telah di tetapkan. Sedangkan perang kegiatan ekstrakurikuler PMR (Palang Merah Remaja), pramuka, dan seni budaya di SMA Negri 1 sinjai borong yang anggotanya di jadikan sebagai informan adapun kesimpulan secara keseluruhan bahwa peran kegiatan ekstarakulikuler tersebut dijadikan sebagai solusi utama siswa untuk meluangkan waktunya dengan kegiatan positif dan menumbuhkan kedisiplinannya. Dari ketiga ekstrakurikuler tersebut berperan dalam menumbuhkan kedisiplinan, dan menjadi teladan atau contoh pada siswa lain. This research was conducted in SMA Negri 1 sinjai borong which was carried out on 20 januari 2016. The method used in this research is qualitative method that produces analytical procedures that do not use statistical analysis procedure or other quantification way. The data in this research is obtained through the process of observation and interview.The results of this study The role of extracurricular activities in growing student discipline in SMA Negri 1 Sinjai borong the main is used as one container that appeals to students to utilize the best time to spare. Extracurricular in SMA Negri 1 Sinjai Borong is also made as an effort to foster student discipline in addition to the many problems that occur in schools both from violations of discipline and juvenile delinquency. Therefore, one of the solutions of the school is the development and coaching of learners through various extracurricular activities. Extracurricular warfare is important in growing student discipline because extracurricular activities are considered activities that appeal to students so that through extracurricular activities students can be trained easily and accustomed to discipline by complying with the rules that have been set. While the war of extracurricular activities PMR (Youth Red Cross), scout, and art culture in SMA Negri 1 sinjai borong whose members are made as an informant as for the overall conclusion that the role ekstarakulikuler activities serve as the main solution of students to spend time with positive activities and grow Discipline. Rabbani Wahed Dance in Sanggar Seulanga Bireuen : "Religious" Values Study

Abstract

Rabbani Wahed Dance is a traditional dance that grows and develops in Samalanga, Bireuen, Aceh. The Rabbani Wahed dance was inspired by Meugrobs movements and poetry which is originated from the practice of the Tarekat Shammaniyah. This dance serves as a media for preaching Islam and contains the value of religious character. This study aims to find out the religious values that contained in Rabbani Wahed dance. In addition, Qualitative method is used in this research. The location of the study was conducted at the Seulanga studio, Sangso village, Samalanga, Bireuen. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validation techniques use the source triangulation. Moreover, the data analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the study concluded that the religious value of Rabbani Wahed dance contained in the poem, including the verse of Saleum that explains about mutual respect, Bismillah illustrates about the goodness, Salatullah talks about praise of the Prophet and obedience to Allah, Attahiyatoen explains about obedience to parents, Allah Rabbani explains the faith to Allah, Sultan Maujuddoen says about the power of Allah, Din Awai Din illustrates about knowing of Allah and the verse of Allahu explains about the majesty of Allah.

The Transformation of Furniture Craft Shape in Tempel Lemahbang Village, Blora in Facing Market Development

Abstract

The transformation of furniture craft shape in Tempel village Lemahbang is done by the craftsmen to face the market development. This research aims at understanding the transformation of furniture craft shape in Tempel village Lemahbang Blora in facing market development. The research method was qualitative while the data collection technique used observation, interview, document study. The technique of data validity used source triangulation, while the data analysis procedure used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research result is that the furniture transformation  happened from the shape and material. The shape aspect transformation is  from classical furniture, such as wooden table or chair in Perancisan (French) style to rustic style. The rustic shape of furniture has created tables, chairs, and ornamental animal shaped furniture. The rustic furniture created by the craftsman has rough shape, preserve natural characteristic from the material used, i.e, bonggol (part of Jati tree’s root). The research findings show that the furniture crafts in Blora experience shape transformation to keep up with market development. The benefit of the research for arts education especially formal arts education agency is as a source of  arts teaching learning based on local culture. The suggestion for the craftsmen is always  to develop their self-potential, especially their English competency so that they will be easy to communicate with foreign customers.

Sining Dance and Central Aceh Tourism

Abstract

Sining dance is the parent of dances in Gayo. Sining dance is one of traditional dances that supports the development of tourism in Central Aceh. The purpose of this research is to analyze the Sining dance and its role of tourism in Central Aceh. The research method was qualitative descriptive and used ethnographic approach.The data collection was used techniques of observation, deep interview, and document study. Data validation was done with data triangulation, source triangulation, and method triangulation while the the analysis used data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion drawing. The results show that the performance of Sining dance plyas a role as cultural attraction, Sining dance also becomes one of tourism attraction through documenter video, Sining dance in one of presentation in a show, and Sining dance is a means of entertainment. The occurence of Sining dance in tourism influences the economic benefit of Central Aceh community and automatically it can preserved Sining dance itself. This research is useful as a vehicle for developing studies on traditional art problems, and is useful as an empirical input for relevant government agencies.

The Identity of Society in Typical Batik Motif “Seluang Mudik” from Sarolangun-Jambi

Abstract

The patterns of batik are strongly influenced by geographical location of the area of manufacture, the state of environment surrounding, and the flora and fauna. Sarolangun area which travesed by Batang Tembesi river makes people familiar with their natural environment. Seluang fish is small fish that Sarolangun endemic which are often waited its existence by the fishermen because of their habit swimming on the river surface in groups. The purpose of the research is to analyze batik patterns Seluang Mudik in Sarolangun regency, Jambi province. The method used in this research was qualitative with observation, interview, and document study as the technique of data collecting. The data validity used the technique of information triangulation from various sources, methods, and theories. The data analysis was done by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results show that batik  motif Seluang Mudik that has various decoration Seluang fish that together swim to a destination to ease the burden against the flow when they immigrate to upstream. It closely relates to the identity of Sarolangun-Jambi society means the knitted togetherness. This togetherness can be found at the events held in society that always be together. One of them is in Lumbo Biduk event, hand in hand in Baralek event, and so on. Implications given by this research is that it can be beneficial for development of batik, for the society surrounding toward environment, for young generations to recognize culture in Sarolangun and for government to support regional potential.
