Abstract

Pendekatan, strategi, metode, dan teknik pembelajaran pada hakikatnya dapat dibedakan tetapi tidak dapat dipisahkan. Keempat istilah tersebut merupakan satu kesatuan dalam pembelajaran. Pendekatan, strategi, metode, dan teknik pembelajaran yang akan dan/atau sedang digunakan dapat diketahui dari langkah-langkah pembelajaran yang telah tersusun dan/atau sedang terjadi. Pendekatan pembelajaran adalah cara umum dalam memandang pembelajaran. Sedangkan strategi pembelajaran adalah ilmu dan kiat di dalam memanfaatkan segala sumber belajar yang dimiliki dan/atau yang dapat dikerahkan untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan. Metode mengajar adalah berbagai cara kerja yang bersifat relatif umum yang sesuai untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran tertentu dan teknik pembelajaran adalah ragam khas penerapan suatu metode sesuai dengan latar penerapan tertentu. Teknik pembelajaran mengambarkan langkah-langkah penggunaan metode mengajar yang sifatnya lebih operasional. Faktor-faktor yang perlu diperhatikan dalam penentuan teknik pembelajaran di antaranya adalah kemampuan dan kebiasaan guru, ketersedian sarana dan waktu, serta kesiapan siswa. Faktor-faktor yang perlu dipertimbangkan dalam memilih strategi pembelajaran ialah tujuan pembelajaran, jenis dan tingkat kesulitan materi pelajaran, sarana, waktu yang tersedia, siswa, dan guru.

Abstract

AbstrakModel pembelajaran Structured Numbered Heads (SNH) adalah salah satu model yangdikembangkan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan isi akademis siswa terhadap materi yang diajarkanmelalui pemberian tugas individu untuk menyelesaikan tugas kelompok secara terstruktur. Selama inipembelajaran yang dilakukan di SMK Negeri 7 Surabaya masih menggunakan model ceramah, sehinggamengakibatkan respon siswa yang rendah dan rendahnya prestasi siswa kelas XI TPM 2. Terbukti dengannilai siswa pada mata pelajaran Kompetensi Dasar Teknik Mesin (KDTM) tahun pelajaran 2013/2014pada meteri sebelumnya dari 26 siswa terdapat 10 siswa atau sebesar 38,46% yang belum mencapaiStandar Ketuntasan Minimal (SKM).Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research). Jadi dalampenerapannya menggunakan siklus, terdiri dari siklus I dan siklus II. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitianini dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran Structured NumberedHeads(SNH) pada mata pelajaran KDTM di kelas XI TPM 2 SMK Negeri 7 Surabaya dapatmeningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya hasil belajar, pada Pretest dari 26 siswa hanya ada 2 siswa yang mencapai Standar Ketuntasan Minimal (SKM) ≥75, siklus Imeningkat menjadi 5 dari 22 siswa yang belum mencapai SKM dengan nilai persentase ketuntasan kelas80,76%, dan pada siklus II naik menjadi 26 dari 26 siswa yang mencapai SKM dengan nilai persentaseketuntasan kelas 100%. Nilai persentase aktivitas guru juga mengalami peningkatan, pada siklus I79,63%, dan siklus II 87,69%. Nilai persentase aktvitas siswa juga mengalami peningkatan, pada siklus I76,66% dan pada siklus II 87,03%. Respon siswa dalam pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaranStructured Numbered Heads sebesar 83,33%. Hambatan dalam proses pembelajaran menggunakan modelStructured Numbered Heads adalah, 1) tata ruang kelas yang kurang kondisional, sehingga membatasiinteraksi dengan siswa, 2) siswa kurang teliti dalam menjawab soal-soal dalam pertanyaan, 3) kurangnyapemanfaatan waktu dalam mengerjakan soal Pre test dan Post test, sehingga siswa kurang teliti dalammembaca dan memahami soal.Kata kunci : Respon Siswa, Aktivitas Guru, Hasil Belajar SiswaAbstractStructured learning models Numbered Heads (SNH) is a model developed to improve studentsmastery of academic content of the material being taught through the granting of individual tasks toaccomplish the task group is structured. During this learning is done in SMK N 7 Surabaya still using themodel talk, resulting in low student response and low student achievement class XI TPM 2. With provenvalue to students the basic Competence on subjects of mechanical engineering (KDTM) in 2013/2014lessons on the previous 26 students from meteri there are 10 students or of 38,46% who have not yetreached the Complete Standard Minimum (SKM).This type of research is a Classroom Action Research (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas). So in using theapplication cycle, consisting of I and II cycles. The data obtained from this study will be analyzed bydescriptive qualitative method.The results of this research are applied to Structured learning models with Numbered Heads(SNH) on KDTM subjects in class XI TPM 2 SMK Negeri 7 Surabaya, achievement can increase studentlearning. This is demonstrated by the growing results of the study, the Pre test of 26 students there areonly 2 students who achieve a Complete Standard Minimum (SKM) ≥ 75, cycle I increased to 5 of 22students who have not yet reached a percentage value of the SKM grade 80,76%, and in cycle II rose to26 of 26 students who achieve a percentage value of the SKM 100% class. The value of the percentage ofteachers also experience increased activity in cycle I 79,63% and cyclical II 87,69%. The value of the percentage of students also experience increased activity at cycle I 76,66% and on cycle II 87.03 right%. The response of students in learning using learning model Structured Numbered Heads of 83,33%.Obstacles in the process of learning to use Structured models Numbered Heads is, 1) the classrooms areless conditional, thus limiting his interaction with students, 2) students less thorough in answeringquestions in the question, 3) exploiting the lack of time in working on the question of Pre test and Posttest, so that students are less thorough in reading and understanding the problem.Keywords : Student Response, Activities Teacher, Student Results

Abstract

Pengembangan teknologi di bidang konstruksi yang semakin maju tidak dapat dipisahkan dari pengelasan, karena pengelasan mempunyai peranan penting dalam rekayasa dan reparasi logam. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap hasil dari proses pengelasan tersebut diantaranya adalah tegangan busur, kecepatan pengelasan, besarnya penembusan, polaritas listrik dan penentuan besarnya arus. Dari beberapa faktor yang ada, maka muncul beberapa permasalahan, diantaranya pengaruh variasi arus terhadap hasil kekuatan tarik dan ketangguhan dengan menggunakan las TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) pada material baja karbon rendah. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian eksperimen. Dalam penelitian ini, spesimen yang digunakan sebanyak 18 spesimen yang akan dikenai perlakuan berbeda dalam proses pengerjaannya, yaitu berbeda variasi arus listrik yang digunakan yaitu arus 80A, 100A dan 120A. Uji yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur kekuatan tarik dan kekuatan bending las TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) pada material baja karbon rendah. Hasil kuat tarik yang terbaik atau tertinggi yang dapat digunakan untuk konstruksi – konstruksi yang membutuhkan nilai kekuatan tarik tinggi adalah 26.92 kg/mm² yang diperoleh dari hasil pengelasan las TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) dengan arus 120 A. Sedangkan hasil kuat bending yang terbaik atau tertinggi yang dapat digunakan untuk konstruksi – konstruksi yang membutuhkan nilai kekuatan bending tinggi adalah 81.50 kg/mm² yang diperoleh dari hasil pengelasan las TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) dengan arus 80A.  Kata kunci: Las TIG,Variasi Arus, Kuat tarik, Kuat bending

Abstract

Background: The number of adolescent boys spending their time in the game center is growing considerably. Previous research revealed that online gaming addiction affected the physical and mental health. This study aims to seek the relationship between online game addiction and depression. Methods: This was a descriptive analytical research with a cross sectional approach. boys were sampled using purposive sampling method, based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Depression was measured using BDI depression scale, while online game addiction was determined using Young’s questionnaire and Family Intimacy Instrument (CCI). Multiple logistic regression was used to analyse the relationship between online game addiction, depression and family intimacy using SPSS 17.0 for Windows. Results: The results indicated a positive relationship between online game addiction and depression among adolescent boys in Jebres village. Teenagers with online game addiction had 1.61 times greater the risk for depression than adolescent boys without online game addiction, although not statistically significant (OR=1.61; 95% CI=0.30 to 8.69) p=0.581). Result from analysis on family intimacy variable also showed non significant relationship with depression. Adolescent boys with low family intimacy had lower risk for depression (OR=0.44). However, online game addiction showed a greater relationship with depression than low family intimacy. Conclusions: There was a positive relationship between online game addiction and depression among adolescent boys in Jebres village although not statistically significant. The higher the level of addiction to online games, the higher the risk for depression. Keywords: Adolescent, Online game addiction, Depression, Family intimacy.

Abstract

Background: Anxiety can be experienced by humans, characterized by the fear, unpleasant, and often accompanied by autonomic symptoms. Pregnant woman may experience anxiety, especially in the third trimester, and there may be differences in anxiety in primigravida and multigravida. This study aims to determine the difference of anxiety level between primigravida and multigravida patient in the third trimester of pregnancy. Methods: The research was descriptive analytic study with cross sectional approach was conducted to patients in obstetry and gynecology clinic Permata Bunda Hospital Purwodadi on March 2012. Sixty samples were choosen by random purposive sampling. The samples were (1) thirty primigravida patients and thirty multigravida patients, (2) third trimester pregnancy. Samples were excluded if (1) LMMPI score more than 10, (2) Family death and suddenly incident like accident in last 3 month, (3) severe physical illness. This research was analized by Mann Whitney test by Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) Program 17.00 for Windows. Results: Average score of primigravida 20,1000 ± 1,30811, and multigravida 24,2000 ± 1,02318. The result of Mann-Whitney test was p = 0,015. ( p < 0,05) Conclusions: This research found a significant difference of anxiety level between primigravida and multigravida patients in third trimester pregnancy at Permata Bunda Hospital Purwodadi. Abstract

Background : Perfection graphics technologies in online gaming becomes allure for players, especially for adolescents. Some previous studies have claimed that online gaming addiction can affect the physical and psychological players, one of which may cause anxiety. This study aims to prove the relationship between addiction to online games with anxiety. Methods: This is a descriptive analysis research with a cross sectional approach. Subjects were adolescents game centre visitor in the Jebres Village . The samples are adolescents of the age 12-21 years old. Samples were taken purposively sampling. Data collection techniques using the TMAS anxiety scale, the scale of online gaming addiction questionnaires and Family Intimacy Instrument. Data scores online gaming addiction, anxiety and family intimacy were analyzed with multiple logistic regression analysis model. Result : This research obtained 35 young males. The results of multiple logistic regression analysis showed that there is a positive relationship between online game addiction and anxiety in adolescents in the Village Jebres. Adolescents with online gaming addiction have a risk 2.86 times greater for anxiety than adolescents without online gaming addiction p = 0.212. (OR: 2.86 CI 95% 0.55 s / d 14.91). The results of this analysis also showed an association between family intimacy and anxiety. Adolescents with low family intimacy had 0.51 times the risk for anxiety with p = 0.440 (OR = 0.51). However, online gaming addiction pose a greater risk of experience anxiety than the risks posed by families with low intimacy. Conclusion : There is relationship between online game addiction and anxiety. The higher the level of adolescent addiction to online games, the higher the risk for anxiety. Abstract

Background: Gay is one of high-risk groups to have depression. The prevalence of depression in gay is reportedly higher than that in heterosexual people. Gay is often faced to low self-acceptance or social-acceptance problems which potentially lead to depression. This study aimed to seek the correlation between self-acceptance and depression in gay community. Methods: This was an analytical study using cross sectional approach, conducted in May 2013 at Gessang Foundation in Surakarta. Samples were purposively selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Subjects were asked to fill in: (1) biodata and informed consent forms, (2) the L-MMPI questionnaire to evaluate respondents’ truthfulness in answering questionnaires, (3) the Berger’s Self-Acceptance Scale questionnaire to measure self-acceptance scores, and (4) the Beck’s Depression Inventory Scale to measure depression scores. Samples were excluded when either declined at least 10 statements from the L-MMPI questionnaire, did not completely fill in the forms and questionnaires, had chronic diseases, or were on long-term medications. Data were analyzed by Pearson’s Product Moment correlation test using SPSS 20.0 for Windows. Results: The self-acceptance of 31 subjects eligible for this study was relatively low (mean score = 104.6). The overall mean of depression scores was 14.7 and only 6 subjects (19.4%) were not having depression as they scored less than 10. The analysis  showed a Pearson’s correlation coefficient (r) of -0.758 (p<0.001), suggesting that self-acceptance and depression were significantly negatively correlated. Conclusion: There was a strong and statistically significant negative correlation between self-acceptance and depression at a gay community in Surakarta. Keywords: Self-acceptance, Depression, Gay

Abstract

Background: Somatization disorder is the presence of somatic complaints (physic) which can not be found the adequate medical explanation. Anxiety is a feeling disorder which characterized by a feeling of fear or concern that deep and sustained. Anxiety can occur in the fourth semester students. This research aims to find out is there any difference of the somatization tendencies between semester IV students who have high and low levels of anxiety in Medical Faculty of Sebelas Maret University Surakarta. Methods: This was an analytic observational research with case-control design. The subject were fourth semester students in Medical Faculty of Sebelas Maret University who meet established criteria. The sampling technique using total sampling of a large population of 237 people. The data analysed by using SPSS for Windows version 17.0 programme with the normality test by Shapiro-Wilk continued by Mann-Whitney because the data that taken was not normal distribution. Results: Students with high anxiety level was obtained an average IRS score of 15.75 and SD 6.883. Students with low anxiety level was obtained an average IRS score of 5.33 and SD 3.467. The difference of somatization tendencies between semester IV students who had high and low levels of anxiety generate significant value (p = 0.000) Conclusions: There were difference of somatization tendencies which statistically significant betweet semester IV students who had high and low levels of anxiety. Students who had high level of anxiety are more likely to experience somatization compared to students who had low level of anxiety. Abstract

Background: Online gaming addiction has become a health issue and brings a negative impact, especially in adolescents. One of the factors that predispose online gaming addiction is the tendency of antisocial personality disorder. The tendency of antisocial personality disorder has symptoms that can lead to addictive attitude. This study aims to determine the correlation between the tendency of antisocial personality disorder and online games addiction in adolescents game center visitor in Surakarta. Methods: This study used an observational analytic with cross sectional approach in ten game centers in Surakarta. Sampling was carried out in July and September 2014 using the inclusion and exclusion criteria that have been determined. The sampling technique used was the total sampling. The independent variable was the tendency of antisocial personality disorder that was measured by The Manson Evaluation Test questionnaire, while the dependent variable was online gaming addiction that was measured by Online Game Addiction Indonesia questionnaire. The data analysis used was Pearson correlation test which Kolmogorov-Smirnov data normality test was previously conducted. Results: This study got 53 samples with a mean age of 17 years, the average score of the tendency of antisocial personality disorder was 29.98±9.32, and the average score of online gaming addiction was 18.38±5.90. Data normality test showed a significance value of the tendency of antisocial personality disorder = 0.061 (p> 0.05) and for online gaming addiction = 0.200 (p> 0.05), which means that the data distribution of two variables were normal. Pearson correlation test results demonstrate the value of the Pearson correlation coefficient (r) 0562 with a significance value = 0.000 (p <0.05), which means that there was a moderate correlation between the tendency of antisocial personality disorder and online gaming addiction in adolescents game center visitor in Surakarta and the correlation was statistically significant. Conclusions: There is a correlation between the tendency of antisocial personality disorder and online gaming addiction in adolescents game center visitor in Surakarta. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share pada mata diklat Membaca Gambar Teknik di SMKN 7 Surabaya (2) untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe TPS (3) untuk mengetahui pencapaian hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan TPS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research). Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus, siklus I menggunakan pre-test dan post-test, siklus II menggunakan post-test. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran Think-Pair-Share (TPS) pada mata pelajaran Membaca Gambar Teknik di kelas X TPm 1 SMK Negeri 7 Surabaya dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya hasil belajar, pada pre test dari 30 siswa, hanya ada beberapa siswa yang mencapai Standar Ketuntasan Minimal (SKM) ≥75, siklus I meningkat menjadi 11 dari 30 siswa yang mencapai SKM dengan nilai persentase ketuntasan kelas 36,67% dan pada siklus II, naik menjadi 25 dari 30 siswa mampu mencapai SKM ≥75 dengan nilai persentase ketuntasan kelas 84%. Nilai persentase aktvitas siswa juga mengalami peningkatan, pada siklus I 74,58% dan siklus II 79,57%. Respon siswa dalam pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Think-Pair-Share sebesar 84%.
