Abstract

Abstract: Application of guide inquiry method with real things in increase peaces learning of fourth grade students elementary school. This Research aimed is describe applied of guide inquiry with real things in increase peaces learning of fourth grade elementary school. This research is a collaborative action research with conducted in three cycles, each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subject of this research were the fourth grade students of SDN 2 Waluyorejo which consist of 27 students, .The results show that The Application of Guide Inquiry Method with Real Things can  Increase Peaces Learning   of Fourth Grade Students. Keywords: Guide Inquiry Method, Increase Learning, Pieces Number Abstrak: Penerapan Metode Inkuiri Terbimbing dengan Benda Nyata dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran Pecahan Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Tujuan  penelitian ini adalah medeskripsikan penerapan metode inkuiri terbimbing dengan benda nyata dalam peningkatan pembelajaran pecahan siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, masing-masing siklus mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Waluyorejo yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode inkuiri terbimbing dengan benda nyata dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran Pecahan bagi siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.   Kata Kunci : Metode Inkuiri Terbimbing, Peningkatan Pembelajaran, Bilangan   Pecahan

Abstract

By age of five, children grow and develop in many areas, changing from clumsy toddlers into lively explorers of their world, so they need more nutrition in proportion of their body weight. Growth and development in adolescent is associated with a nutritional and health status during the preschool years. Indeed, the under nutritional status or malnutrition would cause the delayed growing and development especially, brain. So they need an adequate nutritious food to support this process, primarily protein and mineral. Protein is a vital dietary component for preschoolers, as it is needed for optimal growth and mineral as well. Furthermoremineral is important to make a balancing fluid an electrolyte. There are many kinds of mineral, one of them is zinc. Zinc is essential for proper development. It is needed for wound healing, propersense of taste, proper growth, and normal appetite. The aim of this study is to determine the influenceof zinc supplementation on nutritional status among children less than five years of age at BloraDistrict, Central Java. An experimental study method was conducted in this study. The respondents were chosen through a cluster sampling technique with a randomized sampling. A total 100 - preschool children from 10 preschools in Blora District was divided to be two  groups as a trial group (n=50) and control group (n=50). A trial group was given a zinc supplementation; the other group was given placebo a 6 days a week for 4 weeks. Pre and post test data was collected to measure theinfluence of giving a zinc supplementation. A t – test statistical analysis using a SPSS was applied to analyze the data. The results showed that there was a significantly influence between a zinc supplementation related to nutritional status among children under five years. A nutritional status pre zinc supplementation presented a low nutritional status, on the other hand given a zinc supplementation showed a significantly increased body weight. Furthermore there was no significantly improved body weight on children who given a placebo. It can be concluded that there was a significantly influence of giving zinc supplementation related tonutritional status among children under five years of age.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the relationship between therapeutic communication done by nurses and the anxiety of family members of hospitalized child who are suffering from infectious diseases. A total of 44 respondents were included in this study using purposive sampling technique. The data were taken using a questionnaire on therapeutic communication and anxiety with a closed question types. The data then were processed using Kendal tau statistical tests with 95% significance level. The results of the analysis shows that 75 % of respondents experienced minor anxiety, 13.6 % had moderate anxiety, and 11.4 % had severe anxiety. Data on therapeutic communication indicates that 9.1 % of nurses less communicate, 52.3 % make enough communication, and 36.6 % make a good communication. Correlation analysis using Kendal tau technique shows that there is a relationship between therapeutic communication done by a nurse and the degree of anxiety experienced by families whose child are being hospitalized with infectious diseases (ä = -0.34 , p = 0.018 ). Nurses should always apply the principles of therapeutic communication to communicate with patients because it can minimize the stress and improve the process of adaptation to stress.

Abstract

This research analyzes many factors that influence the behavior so that can prevent HIV/AIDS by using condom consistently in group of truck driver who usually stay for awhile in the truck stop area. Descriptive co relational used in this research, with the cross sectional approach. Total technique sampling is used to recruit 50 samples. Data has been collected using a questioner and been analyzed using a chi square test. The result of this study reveals there is a relationship between a knowledge (p = 0,001), perception (p=0,001), condom availability (p=0,001) and role of health services (p=0,001) with the behavior of preventing HIV/AIDS. Based on logistic regression test, the most influence factor in using condom consistently is knowledge.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pembelajaran disekolah dewasa ini masih nampak, siswa sering terlambat, siswa kurang kesadaran untuk mengerjakan pekerjaan rumah, menyontek saat ulangan dan kurangnya jiwa nasionalisme sehingga mengarah pada lunturnya nilai karakter siswa terjadi di SMK Negeri 1 Kendal. Kebijakan pendidikan karakter, implementasi, dan pelaksanaan belum terlihat di SMK Negeri 1 Kendal untuk menjawab tantangan globaloisasi dan indutrialisasi dalam  perubahan budaya pada anak usia sekolah. Tujuan Penelitian adalah: (1) Mengkaji kebijakan pendidikan karakter di sekolah berwawasan kebangsaan SMK Negeri 1 Kendal Kabupaten Kendal, (2) Mengkaji implementasi pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Berwawasan Kebangsaan SMK Negeri 1 Kendal Kabupaten Kendal. Fokus penelitian ini adalah kebijakan pendidikan karakter dan  implementasi pendidikan karakter sebagai landasan wawasan kebangsaan di SMK Negeri 1 Kendal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di SMK Negeri 1 Kendal Kabupaten Kendal. Tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi, dengan informan terdiri atas tiga kelompok, yaitu pengelola sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) kebijakan pendidikan karakter yang dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Kendal dilaksanakan sesuai dengan keinginan bersama warga sekolah yang diwujudkan melalui SK Kepala Sekolah. Pendidikan karakter diwujudkan dalam budaya 5S seperti senyum, salam, sapa, sopan, dan santun, (2) pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dilakukan melalui pembiasaan dengan memberikan teladan oleh guru kepada siswanya. The implementation of school learning today still seems that the students are often late, lack of awareness to do homework, cheating on daily examination, and lack of spirit of nationalism that led to the fading of student’s character occur in SMK N 1 Kendal. The character building policy, implementation, and execution have not been seen in SMK N 1 Kendal to answer the challenges of the global era and industry in cultural change for students. The purposes of this study are: (1) analyzing the character building policy in the national vision school SMK N 1 Kendal, (2) Analyzing the implementation of character building at the National vision School SMK N 1 Kendal. The focus of this research is character building policy and implementation of character building as the national vision in SMK N 1 Kendal. This study uses a qualitative approach. The location of the study is in SMK N 1 Kendal. The technique of data collection uses interviews and observations, which the informants consist of three groups: school administrators, teachers, and students. Data analysis technique is conducted with interactive analysis. The results of the study show (1) the policy of character building applied in SMK N 1 Kendal is properly implemented by the community of the school realized through the decree of Principal. The character building is realized in the 5S habituation like smiles, shaking hands, greetings, polite, and courtesy. (2) The implementation of character building is applied through habituation by examples of teachers to their students.

Abstract

WHO memperkirakan resiko klematian akibat kehamilan dan persalinandi usia 15 sampai 19 tahun 2 kali lebih tinggi dibandingkan perempuan yang berusia 20 sampai 24 tahun. Making Pregnancy Safer (MPS) Indonesia 2001-2010 merupakan salah satu strategi dalam konteks Rencana Pembangunan Kesehatan Menuju Indonesia Sehat 2010. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  hubungan usia ibu dengan komplikasi kehamilan primigravida di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bukoposo Kecamatan Way Serdang Kabupaten Mesuji tahun 2013. pisain Penelitian ini adalah cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu hamil pertama di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bukoposo Kecamatan Way Serdang Kabupaten Mesuji tahun 2013 yaitu sebanyak 285 orang, dengan sampel 167 responden. Teknik sampling adalah simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan melihat rekam medik di puskemas poskesdes dan BPS. Analisa univariat menggunakan prosentase dan bivariat menggunakan chi-square. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh komplikasi kehamilan primigravida sebanyak 40,3 %, usia ibu yang beresiko sebanyak 58,1%, Hasil analisa bivariat didapatkan ada  hubungan yang signifikan antara usia ibu dengan (p value = 0,000,) Maka disarankan petugas kesehatan untuk dapat memberikan bimbingan dan konseling kepada setiap ibu untuk dapat menunda kehamilan dengan  tidak hamil pertama diusia yang beresiko yaitu kurang dari 20 tahun atau lebih dari 35 tahun dan bila sudah terjadi kehamilan untuk menjaga kesehatan diri dan janinnya dengan rajin memeriksakan kehamilannya sehingga menghindarkan dari terjadinya komplikasi yang dapat membahayakan kondisi kehamilannya dan persalinannya nanti.

Abstract

Dalam proses pendidikan perlu dilaksanakan manajemen kurikulum agar perencanaan kurikulum berjalan dengan efektif, efisien, dan optimal dalam memberdayakan berbagai sumber belajar, pengalaman belajar, maupun komponen kurikulum. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dalam penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan Manajemen Kurikulum PAUD di RA Miftahul Ulum Ketangi. Untuk memperoleh data yang valid, dalam penelitian ini diperlukan teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tiga metode yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Proses analisis data dilakukan dengan verifikasi terhadap data yang telah terkumpul. Verifikasi tersebut dilakukan dengan metode triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kurikulum di RA Miftahul Ulum. Ketangi yang meliputi perencanaan kurikulum telah berjalan dengan baik meskipun masih ditemui sedikit kendala antara lain adanya sulitnya memahami RKM untuk dijadikan RKH, kurangnya kreatifitas guru dalam pembelajaran, perlunya dukungan sarana yang memadai, dan menetapkan evaluasi. Perencanaan kurikulum dilakukan secara keseluruhan mulai dari pembuatan PROTA, PROMES, RKM dan RKH. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, ada beberapa saran, yaitu: (1) bagi kepala sekolah, guru dan siswa hendaknya selalu berupaya untuk ikut serta dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikannya semaksimal mungkin.(2) bagi penelitian lanjutan, hendaknya hasil penelitian ini dijadikan sebagai tambahan reverensi dan diharapkan dapat dilakukan penelitian yang lebih baik dan sempurna tentang Manajemen Kurikulum PAUD

Abstract

This research was aimed to determine: (1) the influence of teaching experience, mastery of learning media and productivity of teacher teaching on teachers terfomance of Elementary School, (2) the influence of teacher teaching experienceon perfomance of Elementary School, (3) the influence of teacher mastery of learning media perfomance of Elementary School, (4) the influence of productivity of teacher teaching perfomance of Elementary School. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The variables in this research are teaching experience, mastery of learning media, productivity of teaching, and teachers perfomance.The population in this research is teachers of the State Elementary School in Kecamatan Sewon Kabupaten Bantul which amounts to 138 teachers. To make sample of this research is representative to the population’s member, sample was draw by using simple random sampling technique. Furthermore researcher choose 107 teachers of Elementary School in Kecamatan Sewon Kabupaten Bantul as sample of research. The dataacquisition were obtained via documentation and questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using the multiple linier regression formula involving three independent variabels and using the partial correlation formula, after testing the normality test, linearity test, and multycollinearity test. The result of data analysis shows that: (1) there is a positive and very significant influence of teaching experience, mastery of learning media and productivity of teacher teaching on teachers perfomance amounts 47,3%; (2) there is a positive and very signivicant teacher teaching experience to teacher performance amounts 23,2%; (3) there is a positive and very significant influence mastery of learning media of teacher teaching on teachers perfomance amounts 8,7%; (4) there is a positive and very significant productivity of teacher teaching on teachers perfomance amounts 15,4. The suggestion from researcher is the next researcher can reveal the unreveal relative contribution to get better result.
