Abstract

This writing explored about the existence of Islam in France. The presence of Islam in France was due to the effort of imigrants of South Africa, Aljazair, Marocco, Tunis, Turkie, and other Muslim dominated countries. Their arrival in France had significant contribution toward Islamic development in France. Following the time, Islam more and more grew and plural, and its population reaches 4.6 percent from total citizens. Moslems in France are adequately apreciated by the goverment to establish their religiosity. It doesn’t mean that Islam is free from pressure, Islam sometimes paces complicated problems due to tribal and etnical problems.

Abstract

The election of Abu Bakr as the Caliph is on the basis of democracy. Baiat generally performed better than the Muhajirin and Ansar. He managed to fight the apostates and the liar who claim to be prophet, so the transition is successfully passed by the Caliphs. Appointment of Umar ibn al-Khattab instead of Abu Bakar also complies with the constitution because through deliberation that does not use an authoritarian system. During his reign, Umar managed to bring the glory of Islam and set the state administration into an ideal shape. Usman ibn Affan elected as Khalifah based system acclamation. Attainment Usman in the lead and the softness of his heart without realizing opportunities influx of calumny at the end of his leadership that led to his killing. While accusations of nepotism addressed to Usman totally unwarranted and can be rejected. Ali ibn Abi Talib reigns at a difficult time in which the split occurs in the body of the people. Ijtihad difference in demanding justice for the murder Usman is the main cause of the civil war, not because of a power struggle.

Abstract

The plurality of social life of Makassar society in XVII century is a central point in the realization of gaining progress and performance in Makassar at the time. The plural life marked by principle of "high sea" and the tolerance among religious and the readiness Makassar government who politicized the society which has different background in mutual life.

Abstract

Palestina is a continously conflicted region. Thousand years before christus, Jews has already established the Judah King and Israel. These regions were occupied interchangably by some nations such as Assyiria, Babylonia, Misria, Persia, Macedonia, Romawi and Byzantium.  Arabian then took Palestina form caisar of Byzantium  (634 M) and in 1516 M., Palestina was under Turki Usmani kingdom. In  this time, Jews cameback to Paletine, and lived with arabian in harmony based on culture and religion. However, some leaders of Israel formed zionisme by means to establish Jews Nation. This movement finally became the main factor of conflict

Abstract

Islamic education aims at educating people to be insan kamil namely, a figure who has integrity in all aspect. Thus, religious education must be socialized in early age, in order children have a basic education especially in religious aspect. Islamic education is tiedly deals with values, meanwhile culture educates some norms and moral. It means that there is close relationship between religion and culture. In this case local genuine has significant role in supporting religious education,  because it has noble values which grow from the necleus of heart.

Abstract

Kedatangan Islam di Nusantara dibawa oleh para pedagang dan ulama-ulama, mereka datang dari Arab, Persia maupun India, penyebarannya adalah berada pada jalur-jalur dagang internasional pada saat itu. Pendidikan Islam dilakukan dalam bentuk khalaqah di rumah-rumah pedangang ataupun ulama maupun dengan tauladan. Walisongo dalam penyebaran Islam di Jawa sangat berhasil karena mampu mengislamisasikan wilayah Jawa. Lembaga pendidikan yang digunakan adalah pesantren. Keberhasilannya didukung oleh pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kultur masyarakat Jawa.

Abstract

Minat orang Barat untuk mengkaji Timur termasuk Islam sudah berlangsung cukup lama dan telah menmpuh fase-fase historis tertentu. Setiap fase perkembangan  orientalis itu memiliki ciri dan tendensi yang berbeda. Fase sebelum melutusnya perang salib, tujuan para oritentalis  adalah memindahkan ilmu pengetahuan dari dunia Islam ke Eropa. Fase masa perang salib, Peter sebagai kepala Biara Cluny memerintahan para sarjana dan penerjemah untuk menerjemahkan teks-teks Arab ke bahasa latin. Dalam proses penerjemahan ini, terjadilah cerita-cerita negatif yang ditujukan kepada pribadi Nabi Muhammad saw. Cerita-cerita pada dasarnya akibat dari kekalahan Kristen dalam Perang Salib. Fase masa pencerahan di Eropa ditandai keinginan para orientalis untuk mencari kebenaran. Pada masa ini kekuatan rasio mulai meningkat sehingga lahirlah karya-karya yang dianggap objektif, bahkan berisi penghargaan kepada Nabi Muhammad dan Alquran. Hal ini didorong oleh motif ekonomi dan politik. Orang Barat pada saat ini, berkeinginan menguasai Timur, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan pengetahuan Timur secara objektif dan menyeluruh, agar dapat menyusun strategi  untuk mencapai tujuan itu. Mulai abad ke 19 sampai sekarang para orientalis secara teratur mengadakan kegiatan seperti kongres-kongres, mendirikan lembaga-lembaga kajian ketimuran, mendirikan  organisasi-organisasi ketimuran dan menerbitkan majalah-majalah.

Abstract

The purpose of this essay is trying to observe the concept of political ethics in Islam within history of Islam community. The writer intentions to describe it until there are no less understanding about it. Right now, the political situation aborts the ethical concept of Islam. Actually it appears because our overview by the political treatise which defines politics as a way to seize the power with any circumstances. Probably, the other reason on why it happens, because we don’t reflect the way of our former throughout Islamic history. On this essay, it will be found that the balance of a state depends on the implementation of ethical value by the government in every event of Islamic community throughout history. The result of this implementation will make a civil society, like in the City of Madinah on the era of Muhammad saw. However, it doesn’t mean that the ethical value of Islam is only able for the society on the era of Muhammad because Islam ethical value prevails on the universal life. Furthermore, the Islamic ethical value is also implemented on after the era of Muhammad. It can be seen on the age of Caliphs or the era of each leaders of Islamic state. Beside it we will find, every conceptual of Islam political ethics in each treatises of classic Islamic scholars, like al-Ghazali, al-Mawardi, Ibn Taimiyah or the Islamic philosophers. Finally, the political ethics of Islam aims to ensure the right’s of people and to carry out the commandment of Allah swt.
