Abstract

Abstract: This study describe to investigate : (1) the implementation of the program of On The Job Training to prepare the students of State Vocational High School 6 of Surakarta to enter the world of work; (2) the constraints encountered in the implementation the program of On The Job Training at State Vocational High School 6 of Surakarta; and (3) efforts taken to cope with the constraints in the implementation of the program of On The Job Training at State Vocational High School 6 of Surakarta. This research used the descriptive qualitative research method. The results of the research are as follows: (1) the implementation of the program of On The Job Training at State Vocational High School 6 of Surakarta has been in compliance with the prevailing procedures an can prepare its students majoring in the Office Administration particularly in the expertise competencies in terms of hard skills and soft skills to enter the world of work; (2) the constraints encountered in the implementation of the program are as follows: the students are not mentally ready to follow the program of On The Job Training, the advising teachers have a low frequency to visit the world of business and industry, (c) not all of the competencies can be done by the students, the theories accepted by the students in the class do not conform to the work practicum in the world of business and industry; and (3) the efforts taken to deal with the constraints are as follows: motivating the students, warning the advising teachers, implementing the rolling system at the work department, the advisors of the institutions give guidance to the students.   Keywords: implementation, the program of On The Job Training, students

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate: (1) the leadership role of the headmaster in growing the discipline of the teachers and the administrative staff members of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta; (2) the obstacles in the leadership role of the headmaster in growing the discipline of the teachers and the administrative staff members of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta; (3) the solution from the role of the headmaster to overcome the obstacles which emerge in actualizing the discipline of the teachers and the administrative staff members of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta. This research used the descriptive qualitative method and the embedded single research strategy. The population of this research was the headmaster, the teachers,  the administrative staff members, and  the students of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta. The samples of this research were taken by using the purposive sampling technique. The data of this research were gathered through interview, observation, document analysis from informants, places, events, documents, and files. The data were then analyzed by using the interactive analysis technique. The results of this research are as follows: (1) the leadership role of the headmaster of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta was done through the activities of discipline building, such as: (a) giving motivation to the teachers and the administrative staff members; (b) giving the leadership role model by having discipline; (c) making efforts in paying attention to the welfare of the teachers and the administrative staff members; and (d) implementing discipline enforcement; (2) the obstacles which emerge in building discipline in SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta are as follows: (a) the internal obstacles, such as: the characters of personality of some teachers and administrative staff members which are difficult to accept advice and less responsible in doing their job and tasks; and (b) the external obstacles which emerge in building the discipline of the teachers and the administrative staff members of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta; and (3) the solutions to overcome the obstacles are as follows: (a) enforcing the rule and making discipline development; and (b) intesifying the shared activities with the teachers and the administrative staff members.Keywords: principals leadership role, Teacher and Employee Discipline

Abstract

Asphyxia neonatorum is a condition in which the baby can not breathe spontaneously andregularly soon after birth due to several factors: maternal factors , factors from the placenta ,fetal factors , factors of labor , and of multifactorial. This study aims to investigate thecharacteristics of mothers with infants died of asphyxia in Semarang district in 2012 andanalyzes the factors that cause infant death due to asphyxia in Semarang district in 2012. Thisresearch is a retrospective study using cross-sectional approach . Subjects were mothers withinfants died of asphyxia in Semarang Regency in 2012 , time studies in January 2014. Theresearch instrument using the checklist and perinatal mortality audit records . Technical analysisof the data using univariate analysis. Based on the research that the characteristics of pregnantwomen who have a baby die of asphyxia mostly aged between 20-35 years of age productive oras many as 29 ( 76 % ) of people , berparitas < 4 which is 36 people ( 95 % ) , junior highschool education is 21 people ( 55 % ) , age at term pregnancy is 28 people ( 74 % ) . Theresults showed 13 infants ( 34.2 % ) died due to asphyxia with the causes of fetal factors , 13infants ( 34.2 % ) died due to asphyxia with the cause of multi- factor , 10 infants ( 26.3 % )died due to asphyxia with a cause of the labor factor 2 infants ( 5 % ) died due to asphyxia withthe causes of maternal factors , not the baby died because of asphyxia obtained with the causesof placental factors . Advice given is a health worker should be more thorough in examiningpregnant women and more prudent in taking actions that can overcome the disstres fetalasphyxia not allow to happen. Keywords  : asphyxia neonatorum, death in infant

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) know the role of academic supervisor of Educational Economy major to enhance student’s learning achievement, 2) to find out the time duration the academic supervisors take to do the counseling, 3) to find out the problems in counseling.This research uses descriptive qualitative method and the embedded case study. The data come from informants, the research locations and documents. The research uses the purposive sampling technique. The data collection is done with interviews, observations and document analysis. The data validation uses data triangulation pattern and the resource. The data analysis is conducted with interactive analysis pattern technique.The results of the research conclude that: 1) the academic supervisor functions as the information resources, the one to accommodate, listen the problems of the students, help the students to resolve the problems, give suggestions and monitor the learning activities of his/her students, 2) the counseling is done at: the beginning of the semester, the middle semester and the end of semester, 3) problems to conduct counseling come from both the academic supervisors and the students

Abstract

Gapoktan Jatimulyo merupakan salah satu Gapoktan berprestasi yangada di Kabupaten Wonogiri. Di tahun 2010, Gapoktan ini mendapat danaPUAP sebesar 100 juta rupiah dan kemudian mengembangkan KSPS(Koperasi Simpan Pinjam Syariah) Jatimulyo untuk pengelolaannya. Akantetapi dalam pelaksanaannya, KSPS Jatimulyo masih belum menerapkansistem keuangan syariah dan pencatatan keuangannya masih dilakukansecara manual. Di tahun 2014, KSPS Jatimulyo telah melakukan penataanpencatatan administrasi keuangan dan penyediaan sistem (software)keuangan untuk mempermudah operasionalisasi KSPS sedangkanGapoktan Jatimulyo memiliki rencana pengembangan usaha pembuatanpupuk organik. Usaha pupuk organik ini tidak berjalan dengan baikkarena terkendala permodalan dan pemasaran mengingat persediaanpupuk organik dilakukan melalui sistem pengadaan barang diDepartemen Pertanian. Kurang lengkapnya dokumen-dokumen pendirianusaha membuat usaha pupuk tidak dapat berkembang. Oleh karena itu,diperlukan pendampingan agar pada akhirnya produksi pupuk organikini dapat menjadi usaha baru bagi Gapoktan. Tujuan dari kegiatan iniyaitu meningkatkan kemampuan pengurus Gapoktan dan KSPSJatimulyo, meningkatkan teknologi yang dapat mendukungpengembangan usaha Gapoktan dan meningkatkan produktivitas danprofesionalitas Gapoktan dan KSPS dengan ditandai meningkatnyakemampuan untuk menghasilkan laba. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukanmelalui pelatihan dan pendampingan secara intensif dan berkelanjutan.Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan meliputi koordinasi denganGapoktan dan KSPS Jatimulyo, pelatihan sistem keuangan berbasissyariah dan manajerial, pendampingan pengelolaan keuangan berbasissyariah serta pemberian TTG berupa software keuangan dan seperangkatkomputer.

Abstract

Teknologi Informasi berbasis komputer adalah salah satu media yangcukup efektif dalam mengelola informasi suatu lembaga, termasuk bagiPPKwu UNS. PPKwu yang banyak berkecimpung di bidang pelayanandan pendampingan UKM, keberadaan website sangat diperlukan. Hal initerkait dengan konsultasi bisnis yang saat ini dimungkinkan dilakukandengan teknologi internet. Oleh karena itu, dipandang perlu untukmengembangkan website PPKwu untuk menjadi media komunikasi bagiPPKwu dan mitra atau tenant serta menjadi media promosi dalamupayanya menjadi pusat mandiri. Target yang diharapkan dari kegiatanini adalah desain tampilan website yang menarik serta berisi informasiinformasiterbaru yang lengkap mengenai PPKwu. Kegiatan peningkatantata kelola di PPKwu diawali dengan penyelenggaraan workshop dimanasetiap peserta berbagi informasi (brain storming) mengenai kebutuhancontent website sehingga output yang dihasilkan adalah sumbang sarandari semua anggota Peer group PPKwu dan staf PPKwu. Setelahdiperoleh masukkan mengenai content website, maka dilakukanpembuatan website, implementasi dan evaluasi website.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kapasitas manajemenserta pengelolaan PPKwusehingga diharapkan dapat menjadi pusat studi yang mandiridalam mencapai pemenuhan target kerja dan anggaran. Melalui perbaikan tata kelolapusat studi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan dan menyinambungkan pelayanan pusatstudi kepada mahasiswa dan masyarakat, meningkatkan jumlah penelitian danpengabdian yang dilakukan serta meningkatkan jaringan kerjasama sehingga dapatmencapai misi UNS yaitu UNS menuju world class university.Secara khusus, tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah: 1) merevisirenstra, roadmap, dan SOP; 2)menyusun manual dan sasaran mutu pusat studi. Kegiatan ini bertolak dari adanyapermasalahan di PPKwu yaitu terdapatnya duplikasi peran PPKwu dengan pusat studilain, belum adanya manual mutu dan sasaran mutu yang menjadi panduan pelaksanaanprogram kerja,kekurangaktifan peer group disebabkan banyaknya kegiatan peergroup difakultas, dan keterbatasan tenaga adminitrasi.Kegiatan peningkatan tata kelola di PPKwu dilakukan melalui penyelenggaraan tigatahapan workshop yaitu workshop revisi renstra dan roadmap, workshop penyusunanmanual dan sasaran mutu dan workshop revisi SOP. Peserta workshop adalah semuapeergroup PPKwu. Semua kegiatan PPKwu telah terlaksana, adapun kegiatan-kegiatantersebut antara lain : workshop revisi roadmap dan renstra PPKwu serta workshoppenyusunan manual & sasaran mutu dan SOP PPKwu.
