Abstract

This quasi experiment research aims to know the influece of implementation TAPPS strategy in learning with respect to student’s mathematical communication ability. The design of this research using postest only control design. The population of this research are all tenth grade students in even semester at Senior High School State 5 Bandar Lampung in Academic Years 2012/2013. The samples of this research are class X.3 and class X.6 choosen by using  purposive sampling technique. Data techniques collection uses mathematical communication ability test. Based on hypotesis test results, it is aqcuired that the average of value of student’s mathematical communication ability with TAPPS strategy is more than that of using conventional learning.  Thus, TAPPS strategy influenced towards student’s mathematical communication ability.Kata kunci: TAPPS strategy, mathematical communication ability

Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed to develop a blended learning model in the course of Civic Education and gained a blended learning model which was a learning model that combines face-to-face learning with online learning on Civic Education course. This research was a mixed methods research that combines qualitative and quantitative approach in one study. The approach of this study was based on data which had been collected, that is quantitative and qualitative data.The object of this study was blended learning model of Civic Education Course and the subject was students of Education and Science Education Faculty, Islamic University of North Sumatera. The sample was selected based on the mastery computer and previous experience on online lectures so that the students would not face some technical problems in following the learning activities The implementation of this research was only up to the third step of the research development step that was recommended by Borg and Gall and by using Dick and Carey ‘s learning design model as main reference , which involved collecting data, planning, and developing product. The result of this study was in the form of online learning programs that was packaged in Learning Management System (LMS) by using an application called Edmodo. This learning product is expected to provide alternative solu-tions to students’ learning problems and provide learning resources for students and lecturers of Civic Education at the Faculty of Education and Science Education, Islamic University of North Sumatera.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran blend-ed learning pada mata kuliah Pendidikan Kewarganegaraa (PKn) dan diperolehnya suatu mod-el pembelajaran blended learning, yaitu suatu model pembelajaran yang mengkombinasikan antara pembelajaran tatap-muka dengan pembelajaran online learning pada mata kuliah PKn. Penelitian pengembangan ini termasuk pada mixed methods research, yaitu pendekatan penelitian yang menggabungkan penelitian secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif dalam satu penelitian. Penggunaan pendekatan ini didasarkan pada data yang dikumpulkan, yaitu data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Obyek dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah model pembelajaran blended learning pada mata kuliah PKn. Sedangkan subyek penelitiannya adalah para maha-siswa Fakultas Kependidikan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara. Pemilihan subyek peneitian didasarkan pada penguasaan komputer dan sudah pernah mengikuti perkulia-han online, sehingga mahasiswa tidak akan menghadapi permasalahan teknis dalam mengikuti pembelajaran blended learning. Pelaksanaan penelitian penelitian pengembangan ini hanya sampai pada langkah ke 3 (tiga) dari pengembangan penelitian yang direkomendasikan oleh Borg and Gall dan dengan menggunakan rujukan utama model desain pembelajaran Dick and Carey yaitu pengumpulan data, perencanaan, dan pengembangan produk. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan ini berupa produk pembelajaran dalam bentuk program pembelajaran online yang yang dikemas dalam sistem manajemen pembelajaran (LMS) dengan menggunakan aplikasi program Edmodo. Produk pembelajaran ini diharapkan dapat memberikan alternatif terhadap masalah belajar mahasiswa dan menyediakan sumber-sumber belajar bagi mahasiswa dan dosen pengampu mata kuliah Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di Fakultas Kependidikan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the effectiveness of developing constructive learning based learning models on subjects of Citizenship Education. Testing the effectiveness of this learning model is done by an experimental method by comparing the use of a blended learning model with a learning model that is usually done at the Education Faculty of the Islamic University of North Sumatra.This research  was carried out in the second semester (two) of the 2017/2018 school year with a population of 156 students and the sample was 56 students.The sampling technique in this study used cluster random sampling and selected a history education study program totaling 29 students and a Pancasila  and  Citizenship  Education  study  program  totaling  27  students. Hypothesis testing using independent T test. Based on the results of the T test obtained a significance value of 4.270 with a degree of freedom of 54. While the p-value for the two-sided test (test-tailed) is 0,000 which is smaller tha a = 0,05.The rejected  that the statistical hypothesis Ho :  mexperiment =  mcontrol. So  that  it  can  be  concluded  that  the  score  of  learning outcomes  in  the Citizenship Education course of the experimental group with different control groups.The conclusion of this study indicates that the results of the development of  a  constructive-based  blended  learning  model  in  Citizenship  Education courses are effective. Abstract

Abstract. The aim of this study was to see the learning outcomes of Civic Education subjects by using the Blended Learning model that based on Edmodo at the Faculty of Education of the Islamic University of North Sumatra. The population in this study amounted to 156 students and a sample of 59 students in the school year 2017/2018. The sample was taken using cluster random sampling technique and selected a total of 32 students from the History Education study program and 27 students of the Pancasila and Civic Education study program. Hypothesis testing is done by using one-way analysis of variance (Anava) at a 0.05 level of significance using the SPSS 24.0 for Windows program. Test the hypothesis in this study using an independent T test. Based on the T test results obtained a significance value of 0.032 with a significant value of 0.032 <0.05 which rejects H0 and accepts H1. Based on the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes of Citizenship Education courses for History Education students and students of the Pancasila and Civic Education Study program. Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat hasil belajar Mata Kuliah Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran blended Learning berbasis Edmodo di Fakultas Kependidikan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 156 mahasiswa dan sampelnya berjumlah 59 mahasiswa pada tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dan terpilih program studi Pendidkan Sejarah berjumlah 32 mahasiswa dan program studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan berjumlah 27 mahasiswa. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis varians (Anava) one way pada taraf signifikansi 0.05 dengan menggunakan program SPSS 24.0 for Windows. Uji hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji T independen. Berdasarkan hasil uji T diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,032 dan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,032<0,05 yang menolak H0 dan menerima H1. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matakuliah PKn pada mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Sejarah dan mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan.

Abstract

The Comparison Of Emission Levels Of Carbon Monoxide Exhaust Gas In Automatic Motor Vehicle Injection System. Transportation plays a very big role as a source of air pollution, especially exhaust emissions reach 60-70%. CO emitted by motor vehicle which exceed the standard be able to cause disturbance and even death. The development of a two-stroke engine vehicle into a four-step engine is a people demand who want a vehicle which is easy and comfortable. Indonesia has many different types of vehicles, but two types of motor vehicles with the YMJET-FI and PGM-FI system are most on the market. Three fuels such as premium, pertalite and pertamax are used by the public. This research was observational analytic, using Posttest Only Design to analyze the CO emission from YMJET-FI and PGM-FI engine with premium fuel, pertalite and pertamax. CO emission was tested at engine speed of 1.900-2.000 rpm and temperature 80oC. Analysis used Two Way Analysis of Variance statistic test with α = 0,05%. The results showed that YMJET FI using premium emitted CO as 0,23%, pertalite 0,32% and pertamax 0,37%. PGM-FI using premium emitted 0,21% , pertalite 0,24% and pertamax 0,25%. The conclussion is, both of YMJET-FI and PGM-FI, using premium, pertalite and pertamax emitted CO lower than the emission quality standard according to KemenLH 2009 such as of 4,5%.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Menelaah Kompetensi dasar materi ekologi yang terdapat pada silabus kurikulum 2013 ternyata sangat representative dilakukan proses pembelajaran dengan strategi outdoor learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan validitas, kepraktisan  dan keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran ekologi SMA dengan strategi outdoor learning. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hal-hal sebagai berikut: Rata-rata nilai untuk perangkat pembelajaran ekologi SMA dengan strategi outdoor learning 3,69 dengan kategori sangat baik. Penerapan pembelajaran ekologi SMA dengan strategi outdoor learning dapat meningkatkan nilai kognitif peserta didik dari 69,12 menjadi 79,75. Sebanyak 73,435 % peserta didik memperolah nilai baik pada aspek afektif dan 26,565% memperoleh nilai baik sekali. Sebanyak 100% nilai baik pada aspek psikomotor. Proses belajar mengajar sebagaimana dirancang dalam perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan  mendapat respon positif dari 78,12% peserta didik dan penilaian observer pada keterlaksanaan pembelajaran mendapat rata-rata nilai 3,53 yang termasuk kategori sangat baik. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Realizing that the basic competence of ecological material in the syllabus of curriculum 2013 can be best carried out by outdoor learning strategy. The results show following matters: The average of learning outcomes in learning ecology by learning outdoor strategyis 3,69 with very good category. The implementation of ecological learning in high school by outdoor learning strategies able to increase students cognitive value from 69,12 into 79,75, 73,435% students obtained good score on affective aspects and 26,565% obtained excellent score. 100% student obtained good score on psychomotor aspects. Teaching and learning process as designed in the learning device developed got a positive response from the 78,12% of learners and observation of the observer revealed that the feasibility of the learning process got the average value 3,53 which is included a very good category.
