Abstract

Flooding is a crucial problem in Jakarta city and there were many ideas to solve that problem, such ascanals development, land use management, applying soil conservation technique, check dam building,injection well, reservoir dam until rain moving technique. Reservoir dam is chosen by many experts as asolution to solve about flooding in order to increase and accelerate the rate of percolation to groundwaterinto their aquifer. this research is preliminary investigation to calculate the effectively of reservoir damthat is consider with water balance and groundwater flow into reservoir dam. Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas untuk  menyusun modul pembelajaran  dan  mengetahui pengaruhnya dalam membimbing siswa menguasai kompetensi mengaplikasikan hukum-hukum Newton dalam persoalan dinamika sederhana. Modul merupakan paket belajar mandiri yang meliputi serangkaian pengalaman belajar yang direncanakan serta dirancang secara sistematis untuk membantu siswa menguasai kompetensi belajar yang telah ditetapkan. Dari hasil penelitian yang berlangsung dalam tiga siklus  didapatkan adanya peningkatan persentase penguasaan kompetensi belajar rata-rata kelas untuk setiap siklusnya tetapi belum mencapai ketuntasan belajar kelas yang diharapkan. Meskipun demikian penggunaan modul dapat meningkatkan sikap kemandirian siswa dalam belajar. Saran untuk  mencapai ketuntasan belajar adalah   guru sebaiknya menambahkan lembar latihan menggambar diagram gaya supaya siswa dapat berlatih menggambar diagram gaya pada benda dengan ukuran yang proporsional. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah modul pembelajaran yang disusun dapat meningkatkan kompetensi mengaplikasikan hukum-hukum Newton dalam persoalan dinamika sederhana dan meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa. Abstract

Peningkatan persentase jumlah pengunjung yang bertujuan untuk kuliner menunjukkan adanya peluang usaha kuliner di Kota Bandung. Pemilik usaha Distro Sandwich memiliki ide untuk membuka usaha kuliner Distro Sandwich di Mall Kota Bandung. Untuk melaksanakan rencana tersebut dibutuhkan studi kelayakan investasi pada usaha tersebut.Aspek yang dikaji terdiri dari Aspek pasar, Aspek teknis, Aspek legal dan lingkungan, Aspek SDM, Aspek finansial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kelayakan kelima aspek, usaha Distro Sandwich dinyatakan layak, dan terpilihnya Mall X sebagai lokasi usaha dengan menggunakan metode Incremental Analysis ROR. Berdasarkan hasil analisis sensitivitas, batas perubahan keputusan kelayakan, apabila penuruanan jumlah penjualan tidak lebih dari 6,8% dan kenaikan biaya bahan baku tidak lebih dari 8,58%. Business owner Distro Sandwich have an idea to open culinary business named Distro Sandwich in Bandung Mall. To implement the plan feasibility studies needed investments in the business. Aspects studied consisted of market aspects, technical aspects, legal and environmental aspect, human resources aspect, financial aspects. Based on results of the five aspects of feasibility analysis, business Distro Sandwich declared eligible, and election of Mall X as a business location using Incremental ROR Analysis. Abstract

Tingkat stress penduduk perkotaan mulai meningkat hal ini disebabkan oleh padatnya aktivitas dan padatnya arus lalu lintas yang ada. Maka dari itu spa menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk relaksasi agar pikiran kembali relaks. Dengan adanya peluang tersebut maka harumi home spa didirikan untuk membuat para konsumen menjadi merasa lebih puas dan dimanjakan karena tidak perlu pergi keluar rumah untuk mendapatkan jasa spa. Melihat adanya kendala yang disebabkan bentuk usaha yang masih baru dan adanya kompetitor yang hanya bertahan sebentar dalam menjalankan usaha yang sejenis, maka dibutuhkan sebuah studi mengenai analisis kelayakan investasi. Metode untuk menganalisis peluang investasi ini dilakukan dengan lima aspek penelitian yaitu aspek pasar, aspek teknis, aspek legal, aspek sumber daya manusia, dan aspek finansial. Hasil penelitian analisis kelayakan ini layak untuk diimplementasikan. Dengan target penjualan 2.811 orang/tahun, payback period (PP) 1 tahun 2 bulan, net present value (NPV) Rp.208.602.293,-, dan interest rate of return (IRR) 81,5%. Given these opportunities then Harumi was established to create a home spa consumers become more satisfied and pampered because it does not need to go out of the house to get spa services. Seeing constraints caused fledgling establishment and existence of competitors who only a short time in running similar businesses, it takes a study on the feasibility analysis of investment. Methods for analyzing investment opportunities is done by five aspects , namely aspects of market research, technical aspects, legal aspects, aspects of human resources, and financial aspects. The results of the analysis of the feasibility study is feasible to implement. With a sales target of 2,811 person/year, the payback period (PP) 1 year 2 months, net present value (NPV) Rp.208.602.293,-, and the interest rate of return (IRR) of 81.5%. Abstract

The ability to think creatively in improving the quality of education is considered as a very vital source for a nation. If carefully observed, education development efforts have not been optimal, it is because the teacher does not know the extent to which student’s creative thinking ability. Therefore, in certain subjects (IPA) that require high creative thinking skills, there are still many students who lack value. The aims of the study are to determine the ability of creative thinking and the influence of learning models of Community Technology Science (CTS) in improving the creativity of junior high school students on global warming materials. The research design used is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study are students of class VII SMP N 1 Jakenan. The sample is determined by purposive sampling. Test methods, observations, and questionnaires were used to collect research data. The results showed that students creative thinking ability using CTS model for high category was 12%, medium 65%, and low 23% based on test, while for creative attitude, 100% of students were in medium category. CTS models influence on the ability of creative thinking of students increased by 6%.

Abstract

The Opak river is formed by fault. The earthquake in Yogyakarta on May 27th, 2006 had activated the Opak’s fault and caused secondary fault. The fault had made destruction of the infrastructure. This research aimed to determine the description of subsurface structure and to identify the location of the underground fault. The Schlumberger configuration of geoelectrical method was used for identifying the fault in the research area. The data collected in three lines of each which the length is 75 meters. The datas were processed by Res2dinv and Surfer 10.0. Based on the result of the process, the resistivity value are 5-1077 Ωm and the discontinue plane of the contour profile resistivity at depth function. The discontinuities of resistivity value can be interpreted the fault plane. The position of the fault in line A is 38 m, while on the line B and C, the fault locations are located at 33 m from the start point of the measurement. The faults in lines A, B, and C are straight with the strike N 113° E.

Abstract

A common problem that often a rises is that the implementation of unplanned and uncoordinated governance often runs slowly as it has to priorize political consensus in the development of government systems. Our study observed the process of allocating proportional regional expenditures between consumptive routine spending and development spending that favor public interests so as to have a positive effect on economic growth. From the social and political side, especially in the midst of the unfavorable political situation, a compromise from ASEAN countries wa born to combine human rights implementation with the principles of governance in order to achieve the improvement of public services and the protection of human rights for the wider community. Keywords: human rights, good governance and clean government, economic growth

Abstract

Mengacu pada penelitian terdahulu mengenai rendahnya kemampuan literasi sains siswa dan belum tersedianya bahan ajar IPA yang memuat kemampuan literasi sains seimbang, maka dilakukan pengembangan bahan ajar IPA berbasis literasi sains. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik, kelayakan, keterbacaan, dan keefektifan bahan ajar dalam mempengaruhi kemampuan literasi sains dan peduli terhadap lingkungan siswa. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 10 tahap yaitu mencari potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi produk, revisi produk, uji coba produk awal, revisi produk awal, uji coba produk akhir, revisi produk akhir, dan produk akhir. karakteristik bahan ajar ini memilikiperbandingan 41,17% : 17,64%, 17,64% : 23,52%. Uji kelayakan diperoleh hasil rata-rata 88,70%. Uji keterbacaan bahan ajar diperoleh hasil rata-rata 76,60%. Kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas eksperimen 73,72% dan tergolong memiliki kemampuan literasi sains sedangkan kelas kontrol 59,46% dan tergolong cukup memiliki kemampuan literasi sains. Kemampuan peduli terhadap lingkungan siswa kelas eksperimen 71,86% sedangkan kelas kontrol 64,03% dan keduanya tergolong memiliki kemampuan peduli terhadap lingkungan.  Referring to the previous studies about the low literacy skills of science students and the unavailability of science teaching materials that contain a balanced scientific literacy ability, then the development of science-based teaching materials science literacy. This study aims to determine the characteristics, feasibility, legibility, and effectiveness of teaching materials in influencing the ability of science literacy and students concerned about the environment. In this research, there are 10 stages and is looking for potential problems, data collection, product design, product validation, product revision, the initial product trials, revision of the initial product, end product testing, revision of the final product, and the final product. the characteristics of this teaching material has a ratio of 41.17%: 17.64%, 17.64%: 23.52%. Feasibility test obtained an average yield of 88.70%. Readability test instructional materials obtained an average yield of 76.60%. Grade students' science literacy skills 73.72% classified experiments have the ability to control a class scientific literacy while 59.46% and is quite have the ability to scientific literacy. The ability to care for the environment experimental class students 71.86% 64.03% while the control group and both classified as having the ability to care for the environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran inquiry berbasis metode pictorial riddle terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan berkomunikasi ilmiah siswa SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen semu dengan desain one group pretest posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik dokumentasi, tes dan teknik observasi. Dari hasil uji gain didapatkan pemahaman konsep siswa meningkat dengan faktor gain sebesar 0,56 (sedang) dan kemampuan berkomunikasi ilmiah siswa meningkat dengan faktor gain sebesar 0,56 (sedang). Dari uji korelasi product moment didapatkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inquiry berbasis metode pictorial riddle berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep dengan kriteria sedang dan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berkomunikasi ilmiah siswa dengan kriteria kuat. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bawa model pembelajan inquiry berbasis metode pictorial riddle berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan berkomunikasi ilmiah siswa SMP. The purpose of this research is to know the influence implementation of inquiry learning model with pictorial riddle method on increase the understanding concepts and scientific communication skill of junior high school students. The method used is quasi experimental with one group pretest and posttest design. Data collection method used in this research are documentation, test and observation. From the obtained gain test result shown that understanding concepts of students increased by a gain factor of 0,56 (medium) and scientific communication skill of students increased by a factor gain of 0,56 (medium). From the obtained product moment corelation test result shown that the implementation of inquiry learning model with pictorial riddle method influence on increasing of understanding concepts of students with medium criteria and influence on increasing of scientific communication skill of students with strong criteria. Based on the result above, it can be concluded that the implementation of inquiry learning model with pictorial riddle method gives positive influence to increase the understanding concepts and scientific communication skill of junior high school students.

IMPLEMENTASI STRATEGI WHOLE BRAIN TEACHING (WBT) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN SAINS FISIKA DI MTs MUHAMMADIYAH PEJAWARAN KABUPATEN BANJARNEGARA

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu apakah minat dan hasil belajar siswa MTs Muhammadiyah Pejawaran Banjarnegara dapat ditingkatkan melalui pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Whole Brain Teaching (WBT). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan minat dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII MTs Muhammadiyah Pejawaran Banjarnegara pada pokok bahasan Cahaya. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental Design menggunakan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Hasil analisis uji-t data hasil belajar dan angket minat belajar, diperoleh bahwa thitung lebih besar daripada ttabel maka kelompok eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelompok kontrol. Gain peningkatan minat siswa yang diberi pembelajaran dengan WBT mencapai 0,410 sedangkan peningkatan minat siswa yang diberi pembelajaran dengan diskusi mencapai 0,223. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model WBT dapat meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII di MTs Muhammadiyah Pejawaran Banjarnegara pada pokok bahasan Cahaya. Problems in this study is whether the interest and student learning outcomes MTs Muhammadiyah Pejawaran Banjarnegara can be improved through learning by using a model of Whole Brain Teaching (WBT). This study aims to determine the increase in interest and the results of class VIII student of MTs Muhammadiyah Pejawaran Banjarnegara on the subject of light. The research design used in this study was Quasi Experimental Design using design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Results of t-test analysis result study and questioonnaire, found that t count greater than t table the experimental group was better than the control group. Gain increased interest by students learning with WBT reached 0.410, while the increase in interest in students were given a lesson with a discussion reaches 0.223. Based on the results of this study concluded that the WBT learning model can improve the learning outcomes of interest and eighth grade students in MTs Muhammadiyah Pejawaran Banjarnegara on the subject of light.
