Abstract

This research used design research. It was constructing a learning trajectory through handshake context to help students’ understanding of the Combination concept. This research used PMRI approach. The participants of the research were the students of 10th class SMA Negeri 15 Palembang. For retrospective analysis, the data were collected from a teaching experiment in form of student’s work, field notes, and interviews. The obtained data is a learning trajectory which is consists of 1) students do a role-play scene of the handshake activity; this activity supports students’ understanding that A do handshake with B is the same with B do handshake with A, which it indicates order does not matter in Combination. 2) students utilize their knowledge about factorial forms to analyze the general pattern of the Combination. 3) students solve problems related to the Combination concept to help them think about how to solve the similar problems in the daily life. The results of the study showed that the use of the handshake context can help students to understand of the Combination concept.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan lintasan belajar pada materi sifat-sifat segitiga berdasarkan panjang sisi dan besar sudutnya menggunakan konteks Stadion Gelora Sriwijaya Jakabaring di kelas VII. Desain pembelajaran yang digunakan terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu preliminary design, design experiment (pilot experiment dan teaching experiment), dan retrospective analysis. Dalam penelitian ini, serangkaian aktifitas pembelajaran didesain dan dikembangkan berdasarkan pendekatan PMRI. Penelitian ini melibatkan 29 orang siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara. Penelitian ini menghasilkan Learning Trajectory (LT) yang memuat serangkaian proses pembelajaran dalam 3 aktifitas yaitu menentukan jenis-jenis segitiga berdasarkan panjang sisi dan besar sudutnya, hubungan panjang sisi dan besar sudut pada segitiga dan menyelesaikan masalah yang berkaitan dengan sifat-sifat segitiga berdasarkan panjang sisi dan besar sudutnya.  Hasil dari percobaan pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa konteks Stadion Gelora Sriwijaya Jakabaring dapat digunakan sebagai starting point pada materi segitiga di kelas VII SMP.This research aims to produce a learning trajectory on the material properties of triangles based on the side and angle using the context Stadion Gelora Sriwijaya Jakabaring in class VII. Instructional design used consisted of three stages: preliminary design, design experiment (pilot experiment and teaching experiment), and retrospective analysis. This study used learning activities are designed and developed based on PMRI approach. Subjects were 29 seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara. This research resulted Learning Trajectory (LT), which contains a series of learning processes in the three activities that determine the types of triangles based on the side and angle, relationship side lenght and angle of the triangle and resolve problems related to the properties of triangles based on side length and angle. Results of the experiments showed that the Stadion Gelora Sriwijaya Jakabaring could be used as a starting point by seventh grade senior high school students to learn triangle.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan : (1) menghasilkan bahan ajar PMRI topik Literasi Finansial pada Aritmatika Sosial yang valid dan praktis di kelas VII, dan (2) mengetahui efek potensial terhadap hasil belajar dari pengembangan bahan ajar PMRI topik Literasi Finansial pada Aritmatika Sosial di kelas VII. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Design Research tipe Development Study. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII Fatimah SMP IT Bina Insani Kayuagung tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan walk through, dokumen, tes, angket, dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan bahan ajar PMRI topik Literasi Finansial pada Aritmatika Sosial yang valid dan praktis. (2) Bahan ajar PMRI yang dikembangkan memiliki efek potensial terhadap hasil belajar. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan peran lintasan belajar menggunakanreceipt pembayaran listrik dalam membantu siswa untuk menemukan konsep fungsi dikelas VIII. Design research digunakan sebagai metode penelitian dengan melibatkan 30siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Pagaralam. Penelitian menghasilkan learning trajectoryyang memuat serangkaian proses pembelajaran dalam dua aktivitas yaitu PMRI pada materifungsi. Setiap aktivitas PMRI terdiri dari pengguanaan konteks, penggunaan kontribusisiswa, interaktif, dan keterkaitan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengandiberikannya pendekatan PMRI, peran receipt pembayaran listrik dapat membantu siswauntuk menemukan konsep fungsi sehingga dapat mengidentifikasi hubungan antara duavariabel pada materi fungsi.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.22342/jpm.9.2.2160.162 - 177

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kecakapan akademik siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika model kooperatif tipe reciprocal teaching. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.5 SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya yang berjumlah 36 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes. Berdasarkan analisis data observasi menunjukan skor rata-rata kemampuan kecakapan akademik siswa adalah 85,26 dan tergolong dalam kategori tinggi. Adapun skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa adalah 83,01 dan tergolong dalam kategori tinggi. Sehubungan dengan kesimpulan tersebut, hendaknya para guru matematika dapat menerapkan model reciprocal teaching dalam rangka melatih kecakapan akademik siswa. Kata Kunci: Model reciprocal teaching, kemampuan akademik siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning trajectory to help students understand concept of subtraction of integers using multimedia in the fourth grade. This study is thematic integrative learning in Curriculum 2013 PMRI based. The method used is design research consists of three stages; preparing for the experiment, design experiment, retrospective analysis. The studied was conducted on 20 students of grade four SDN 1 Muara Batun, OKI. The activities of students in this study consisted of six learning trajectories. The first activity asks the students to classify heroism and non-heroism acts, summarize, and classify integers and non-integer. The second activity asks the students to answer the questions in the film given. The third activity asks students to count the remaining gravel in the film. The fourth activity asks students to count remaining spent money in the film. The fifth activity invites students to play rubber seeds in the bag. The last activity asks students to answer the questions in the student worksheet. The media used along the learning activities are a ruler, rubber seed, student worksheet, money, gravel, and film. The results indicate that the learning trajectory using multimedia help students understand the concept of integer subtraction integer. Abstract

This study aimed to compare the life skills between student learning using cooperative learning model Brainstorming and Three Step Interview type by considering personal intelligences. The method used in this research was quasi experiment with comparative approach. The study design used factorial design. The population in this study were 9 classes with 255 students and the samples used by 2 classes with 57 students was determined through random cluster sampling. Data collection technique used observation and questionnaires. Hypothesis testing using two-way analysis of variance and t-test of two independent samples. Based on analysis of the data, it obtained the result that there is a difference in life skill and the interaction of the use of cooperative learning model of Brainstorming and Three Step Interview type by considering personal intelligences.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kecakapan hidup antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Brainstorming dan Three Step Interview dengan memperhatikan kecerdasan personal. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan pendekatan komparatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan design factorial. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 9 kelas dengan jumlah 255 siswa dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 2 kelas dengan jumlah 57 siswa yang ditentukan melalui cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan angket. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis varians dua jalan dan t-test dua sampel independen. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil bahwa ada perbedaan kecakapan hidup (life skill) dan interaksi penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Brainstorming dan Three Step Interview dengan memperhatikan kecerdasan personal.Kata kunci: brainstorming, kecakapan hidup,TSI, kecerdasan

Abstract

This study aims to generate trajectories of students in learning by using a comparison worth growing terraced paper of form informal toward formal shape. The method used in this research is the research design consisted of three stages, namely the preliminary, design experiments and retrospective analysis. In this study, a series of learning is designed and developed based on the notion of the learning process and approach PMRI. This research was conducted in SMP PGRI 1 Palembang by involving students in grade VII.2 totaling 30 students. This research produces Learning trajectory (LT), which includes three activities namely 1, activity starts from drawing two wake up the same but different size, measure each side at the wake and determine the corresponding sides to determine the ratio. Activity 2, the activity determines the relations between the two ratios to determine whether the two ratios is a comparison worth or not. Activity 3, resolve issues relating to the comparative worth of daily life-today. Results of the experiments showed that a series of learning activities that have been done to help improve students understanding of learning valued comparison.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) develop prototype software called computer aided learning (CAL) for Real Analysis courses, and (2) produce a valid and practice prototype software CAL in Real Analysis. CAL was tried out to prospective math teachers at the Department in Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Sriwijaya University. That is used in this study is a developmental research that consists of analyzing, designing, evaluating, and revising. The Instruments for collecting data are questioner, observation, and test. Questioner is used to evaluate CAL. Observation is used to see the studentsâ?? skills and the studentsâ?? activities. Test is used to see studentsâ?? achievement after using CAL uses test. All data are analyzed using descriptive technique. The results of analysis are: (1) CAL Developing is just for sequences, series and limit function and the cycles are analyzing, designing, evaluating, and revising. (2) CAL prototype which is developed has been valid based on expert review and practice based on try out.

Abstract

This study was aimed at describing the student’ learning progress on decimals addition by a set of learning activitis based on Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education. This research  method is design research which contain three stages, namely: preliminary design, design experiment and retrospective analysis. Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) has been designed to play an important role as learning design and research instrument. HLT was tested to 30 fourth grade students. The data were collected through interview, observation, and field notes. The findings of the research  showed that this instructional design could stimulate students  in the introduction of one digit decimal through the result of weight measurement, the use of the model that the students make themselves (model of) to describe the measurement results at the second level, and marking the result of the measurement to the number line and continued by describing the process of decimals addition from the measurement activity to the number line in the more formal level. Furthermore at the formal level, students are able to solve the problem of the decimals addition using the correct procedure that is the place value rule.
