PENGGUNAAN MODEL THINK TALK WRITE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN PENGUSAAN KONSEP SISWA

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the used of TTW learning model for improving activity and students conceptual understanding. Research design as was pretest and posttest non equivalent. The samples were X2 and X1 class which were selected by cluster random sampling. Data were qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative data anylisis obtained from the value of pretest, posttest, and N-gain that were analyzed by using U-test. The quantitative data were a descriptive activity and student questionnaire responses. The research result showed that substitution information skill was that 93,0% and asking question skill lowest activity was 84,7%. Result of conceptual understanding had improvement average 53,17 but it was not significant. This TTW learning model not significantly improved conceptual understanding but improved learning activity.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penggunaan model pembelajaran TTW untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan penguasaan konsep oleh siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretes postes tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas X2 dan X1 yang dipilih secara cluster random sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis data kualitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes, postes, dan N-gain yang dianalisis menggunakan uji U. Data kuantitatif  berupa deskripsi aktivitas dan angket tanggapan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas bertukar informasi sebesar 93,0% dan aktivitas terendah kemampuan bertanya 84,7%. Hasil penguasaan konsep mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata 53,17 namun tidak signifikan. Dengan demikian pembelajaran melalui TTW tidak signifikan namun aktivitas belajar meningkat.Kata kunci : aktivitas, penguasaan konsep, think talk write

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significance of the influence of the use of the Argument-Driven Inquiry learning model, academic ability, and interaction between learning models and academic abilities on students' critical thinking skills. The population was eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung. The study samples were students of class VIII A and VIII J that were selected from the population with cluster random sampling technique. This study was a quasi-experimental with Pre-test Post-test Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Data were analyzed statistically by Ankova test and LSD test. The results showed that the ADI learning model had a significant effect on critical thinking skills with a significance value of 0.00. Whereas academic ability and interaction between the ADI learning model and academic ability did not significantly influence critical thinking skills with a significance value of 0.88 and 0.20, respectively.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui signifikansi pengaruh dari penggunaan  model pembelajaran Argument-Driven Inquiry, kemampuan akademik, dan interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan kemampuan akademik terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIII A dan VIII J yang dipilih dari populasi dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan kuasi eksperimen dengan Pre-test Post-test Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Data dianalisis secara statistik dengan uji Ankova dan uji BNT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran ADI berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan nilai signifikansi 0,00. Sedangkan kemampuan akademik dan interaksi antara model pembelajaran ADI dengan kemampuan akademik tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan nilai signifikansi masing-masing 0,88 dan 0,20. Kata kunci: Argument-Driven Inquiry, kemampuan akademik, keterampilan berpikir kritis

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the influence of problem based instructions’ model on self efficacy and students’ learning outcomes in environmental management . The design of this reserach was quasi experimental with non equivalent pretest-postest. Population were 7th grade student at SMP N 1 Seputih Mataram.  Analysis of the quantitative data in this research was using ANOVA test. These result in ANOVA test showed a significance level of  5%. Qualitative data were self efficacy which was analyzed descriptively. Self efficacy average on experimental class get sufficient characteristic (82,94%). This increasing was followed by student learning outcome. The result showed that learning outcomes of experiment class was “sufficient” characteristic (63) and control class get low characteristic (42). Based on this research, it can be concluded  that the problem based instruction’ model give influence to self efficacy and students’ learning outcomes in  human role in environmental management to improve pollution and damage of environment subject matter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction terhadap self efficacy dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pengelolaan lingkungan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain pretest-postest non equivalen. Populasi adalah siswa kelas VII di SMP N 1 Seputih Mataram Lampung Tengah. Data kuantitatif berupa hasil belajar diperoleh dari pretes dan postes yang dianalisis menggunakan uji ANOVA yang  menunjukkan taraf signifikansi 5%. Data kualitataif berupa self efficacy yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Rata-rata self efficacy pada kelas eksperimen berkriteria “baik” (82,94%). Meningkatnya self efficacy diikuti dengan meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar kelas eksperimen (63) dan kelas kontrol (42). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction berpengaruh terhadap self efficacy dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pengelolaan lingkungan. Kata kunci: hasil belajar, problem based instruction, self efficacy

Abstract

The aim of this research was to figure out the effect of Problem based instruction toward self-efficacy and student learning outcomes. The design of the research was pretest and posttest non-equivalent. The samples were students in class VIIC and VIIDJunior High School 2 Seputih Mataram that were selected by purposive sampling. The quantitative data were learning outcomes obtained from the average value of pretest, posttest, and N-gain that were analyzed by Anova One way test on level of confidence 5 %. The qualitative data and student self-efficacy that analyzed descriptively. The result showed that learning outccomes of experiment class was “medium”criteria (57,21) and control class was “medium” criteria (31,87). The improvement of  student self-efficacy in aspect of performance achievement shown by the experiment class was “general” criteria (75,88%). Therefore, it can be concluded that Problem Based Instruction improved learning outcomes and effected student self-efficacy.  Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model problem based instruction terhadap self-efficacy dan hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest kelompok tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIC dan VIID SMPN 2 Seputih Mataram yang dipilih secara purposive sampling.  Data kuantitatif berupa hasil belajar diperoleh dari nilai pretes, postes, dan N-gain yang dianalisis secara statistik dengan uji Anova pada taraf kepercayaan 5%. Data kualitatif self-efficacy siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen berkriteria “sedang” (57,21) dan kelas kontrol berkriteria “sedang” (31,87). Peningkatan self-efficacy pada aspek pencapaian kinerja pada kelas eksperimen berkriteria “pada umumnya” (75,88%). Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa problem based instruction meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan berpengaruh terhadap self-efficacy siswa. Kata kunci: hasil belajar, problem based instruction, self-efficacy

KREATIVITAS SISWA PADA MATERI DAUR ULANG LIMBAH MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PjBL

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate the student’s creativity in using PjBL model. The research used type one-shot case study design. The sample of this research were X4 grade students of SMAN 1 Bandar Sribhawono. They were chose using purposive sampling technique. Qualitative  data  were obtained from rubric assessment, that were: student’s creativity, student’s product, and scoring questionnaire about other product and student’s comment about PjBL  model. The result showed  that most of the student’s creativity categorized as “creative” (64,96%) in  planning including the aspect of making plan, interdicipline of knowledge and concept application, exploration and developing ideas of product designing, choosing the right materials, and using tools. Most of product was categorized as “quite creative” (54,11%) including the new aspects, unique, useful, correct, economic value and heuristic. So, PjBL model could improve the student’s creativity categorized as “creative” and “quite creative” product. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kreativitas siswa menggunakan model PjBL. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah tipe one-shot case study.  Sampel penelitian adalah kelas X4 SMAN 1 Bandar Sribhawono, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data kualitatif diperoleh melalui rubrik penilaian: kreativitas siswa, produk  siswa, angket penilaian siswa terhadap produk lainnya dan angket tanggapan siswa terhadap model PjBL. Abstract

The  purpose  of  this  research  was  to  know the influence of PBI model to self efficacy and students’ learning outcomes on the influence of population density to environment subject matter.  The design of this research was control group pretest-posttest. The samples of this research were the students at VIIA  and VIIB  SMPN 2 Seputih Mataram which were chosen by purposive sampling. The learning outcomes were analyzed statistically by using one way anova. The qualitative data were the increasing of self efficacy which were obtained from questionaire and analyzed descriptively. The result showed that the average of self efficacy in experiment class (76) was higher than control class (67,8) and students’ learning outcomes increased significantly with the average in experiment class (62,2) and control class (54). Based  on  this  research, it can  be  concluded that  the  PBI model gave influence to self efficacy and students’ learning outcomes.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model PBI terhadap  Self efficacy dan  hasil  belajar siswa  pada  materi  pokok pengaruh kepadatan populasi manusia terhadap lingkungan. Desain penelitian ini control group pretest postest. Sampel adalah  siswa  kelas  VIIA  dan VIIB SMPN 2 Seputih Mataram dengan teknik purposive  sampling.  Data hasil belajar dianalisis dengan Anova satu jalur. Data kualitatif  berupa peningkatan self efficacy yang  diperoleh melalui angket yang dianalisa secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata self efficacy kelas eksperimen (76) lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol (67,8) dan hasil belajar siswa meningkat signifikan dengan rata-rata nilai kelas eksperimen (62,2) dan kelas kontrol (54). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan   bahwa   model pembelajaran PBI berpengaruh terhadap self efficacy dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, PBI, self efficacy

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of the experimental study is to asses the impact of field trip and knowledge biodiversity toward new paradigm environmental (NEP) the student class one high secondary school. The experiment was conducted for 64 participants who were randomly selected with the factorial design of 2 X 2. The instructional participants were treated with random assignment. The findings of the research revealed that: (a) There is the new paradigm environmental (b) The participants biodiversity who knowledge higher field trip strategy in TNWK and strategy field trip around school, who were no taught with the new paradigm environmental. (c) The participants biodiversity knowledge lower with field trip in strategy TNWK and strategy field trip around school, who were taught for the new paradigm environmental. 4. There is no positive interaction influence between field trip in strategy TNWK and strategy field trip around school class one. Keywords: biodiversity, biological diversity, most basic level include the fullrange of species on earthTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai dampak dari kunjungan lapangan dan pengetahuan keanekaragaman hayati terhadap paradigma baru lingkungan (NEP) yang siswa kelas satu sekolah menengah atas. Penelitian ini melibatkan sampel dari 64 peserta yang dipilih secara acak dengan desain faktorial 2 X 2. Peserta didik dibekali dengan tugas acak. Abstract

This study aims were to compare the knowledge of biodiversity and the environmental care attitude of students between schools around the conservation of TNWK and urban school. This study used descriptive verification and ex post facto design. The samples were X grade IPA students in Seputih Surabaya 1 High School and Bandar Lampung 1 High School 2017/2018 Academic Year which were taken using purposive sampling method. Data on students' knowledge were obtained through tests and environmental care attitudes obtained through questionnaires. Data were analyzed  using the t-test and linear regression. The results of t-test showed that there were differences in knowledge significant environmental care attitude towards students in school the TNWK conservation area and school in urban area. The results of the linear regression test showed that there was  very strong relationship between knowledge and environmental care for high school in school the TNWK area.Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan pengetahuan keanekaragaman hayati dan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa di sekolah konservasi TNWK dengan sekolah perkotaan. Penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif verifikatif dan ex post facto. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X IPA di SMA Negeri 1 Seputih Surabaya dan SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 yang diambil menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data pengetahuan diperoleh melalui tes dan sikap peduli lingkungan diperoleh melalui angket. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan regresi linear. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan dan sikap peduli lingkungan yang signifikan antara siswa di sekolah kawasan konservasi TNWK dengan sekolah di perkotaan. Hasil uji regresi linear menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang sangat kuat antara pengetahuan dengan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa di sekolah kawasan TNWK. Kata kunci: keanekaragaman hayati, konservasi, perkotaan, sikap peduli lingkungan
