Abstract

Naga Sasra dan Sabuk Inten--the silat story-- is built based on various ideological confrontation. It is assumed that this text has a close relation with extra situation because in outside the text, the political and social situation was facing similar ideological confrontations. Th eproblems are how ideology play in the artistic structure of the text and how are the relation and negotiation pattern of the ideologies. An artistic space is constructed by semantic fields and a place for seedbed of various ideologies. The dominant odeology is feodalism in a text. Negotiation and relation for ideology can be a way to grashep hegemonic ideology. The myth is the medium to relate capitalistic ideology. In extra-textual, capitalism is hegemonic ideology. The genetics of the text originates from capitalism class.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out and to describe (1) is the romantic ideology dominant in the works of the non- tradition of Balai Pustaka, (2) works of 1970-period, and (3) works of 2000 period. These questions arisen based on the real fact that the romantic ideology influenced the series of the history of Indonesian Literature, further more before modern Indonesian literature arisen, since 9-14 century in the old Javanese. This ideology is also find out in 19 century and in the works of Balai Pustaka tradition in 1920-1945.The data were taken by using random sampling. The structural-semiotics method and dialected method used to analize the data. The results of this research: (1) the works non Bapalai Pustaka tradition mainly in 1920 is dominated of realism ideology. (2) in popular literature (1970) is found out that romantics ideology is pseudo romanticism. The works in 1970, mainly the popular literature is as if as romanticism although pseudo-romanticism. Recently, the romantic ideology is played, distorted, re-bulit by using a ?pseudo-romaticism? word.

Abstract

Cerita silat ADM menceritakan masalah seputar berdirinya dinasti Mataram mulai dari peperangan antara  Pajang dengan Jipang, runtuhnya Pajang, sampai pada berdirinya kerajaan Mataram. Kebanyakan para tokoh ADM dapat ditemukan dalam cerita babad Tanah Jawi. Berdasarkan pada penelitian intertekstual dapat ditemukan bahwa (1) cerita silat ADM ditulis berdasar cerita babad BTJ, (2) cerita silat ADM merupakan cerita babad Mataram modern, (3) cerita silkat ADM berfungsi melegitimasi kekuasaan panembahan Senapati. The silat story ADM tells about story of establishing  Mataram dynasty beginning from Pajang-Jipang confrontation, the falling of Pajang, and establishing of Mataram dynasty. Most of Characters are similarly to Babad story- a Javanese historiography.  Based on intertextuallity research, some elements of the text can be found. There are: (1) the silat story of ADM is composed based on Javanese historiography (BTJ), (2) the silat story of ADM is the modern historiographyof Mataram. (3) the silat story of ADM legitimates of Panembahan Senapati outhority.

Abstract

Mahasiswa calon guru seharusnya memahami dan mampu mengembangkan beberapa model pembelajaran. Dalam pembelajaran sastra semestinyalah model pembelajaran berbasis teori sastra. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada pengembangan model pembelajaran apresiasi sastra. Karakteristik desain model apresiasi sastra berbasis teori semiotik termasuk di dalamnya sintagmatik, sistem sosial, sistem reaksi, sistem penunjang, tujuan pembelajaran, dan sistem pendamping. Model pembelajaran apresiasi sastra berbasis teori semiotika memiliki tahapan pada lapis bunyi, arti, objek, dunia, dan lapis metafisik. This research aims to describe a development of literary appreciation learning model since teacher candidate students should understand and are able to develop some learning models, and in learning literature, the learning model should be based on literary theory. Characteristics of literary appreciation model desihn are based on semiotic theory including sintagmatics, social system, reaction system, contributory system, learning objectives, accompanying system. Literary appreciation learning model based on semiotic theory has stages on sound layer, meaning, object, world, metaphisical layer.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh motivasi terhadap prestasi belajar sistemrem, (2) pengaruh modul praktik terhadap prestasi belajar sistem rem, (3) pengaruh motivasibelajar dan modul praktik terhadap prestasi belajar sistem rem siswa kelas XI SMK Ma’arif 9Kebumen.Populasi dalam penelitian ini 134 siswa, jumlah sampel 100 siswa. Penentuan jumlahsampel ditentukan berdasarkan tabel penentuan yang dikembangkan oleh Issac dan Michel.Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Pengumpulan datamenggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas menggunakan validitas konstruk danreliabilitas dengan alpha cronbach. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dananalisis kuantitatif. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif menunjukan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa padakategori cukup sebesar 59%, modul praktik pada kategori cukup sebesar 59%, berdasarkananalisis kuantitatif menunjukkan bahhwa motivasi belajar siswa mempengaruhi prestasi belajar (r= 0,272 sig = 0,000 < 0,05. modul praktik mempengaruhi pencapaian prestasi belajar siswa (r =0,697 sig = 0,000 < 0,05). Artinya hipotesis ke dua diterima karena hasilnya positif. Hasil regresiganda diperoleh koefisien (R) sebesar 0,760 ( F = 66,489 sig = 0,000 < 0,05 berarti ada pengaruhyang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar siswa dan modul praktik secara bersama-samaterhadap pencapaian hasil belajar siswa. Persamaan regresi Y= 40,223 + 0,373X1+ 0,931X2, daridata di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi belajar mempengaruhi prestasi sebesar 0,272 dansig sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05, sedangkan modul praktik mempengaruhi presasi belajarsiswa sebesar 0,697 dan sig sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05, sedangkan hasl regresi ganda yaitupengaruh motivasi dan modul praktik bersma-sama menunjukan F hitung sebesar 66,489 sedangkansig sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05.Kata kunci: modul praktik, motivasi, prestasi

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to develop traditional-expression-based learning materials for Javanesereceptive skills as character education media for junior high school (JHS) students. Thiswas a research and development study. The research product was a model of learningmaterials relevant to Javanese learning needs at JHS. The developed learning materialswere in the form of story discourses entitled proverbs containing character values. Thelearning materials were packed in an anthology of short stories and a short movie CD usingJavanese of the ngapak [a], Surakarta [$û], dan Pati [ m] dialects. The learning materials forthe [a] dialect were used at JHSs in the areas around Kebumen and Pekalongan. Those forthe [$û] dialect were used in the areas around Surakarta, Salatiga, and Semarang. Thosefor the [ m] dialect were used in the areas around Pati and Blora. The results of the productevaluation showed that the products were good with scores of 4.35 for the book and 4.50for the short movie CD. The model of the materials could be used as media to improvereceptive skills and inculcate values through character education into students.

Abstract

Penelitian berfokus pada pengembangan buku panduan motivatif berbantuan audio dalam pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek berbasis pendidikan kewirausahaan. Tujuan penelitianuntuk mendapatkanbuku panduanyang valid kemudian diharapkan memperoleh pembelajaran yang efektif. Penelitian merupakan penelitian R&Dyang dikembangkan Borg dan Gall, Populasi penelitian ini; siswa SMA di kota Semarang kelas XI semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Variabel penelitian meliputi buku panduan motivatif, audio, dan keterampilan menulis cerita pendek. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dengan metode tes, dokumentasi, pengamatan dan angket. Teknik analisis data meliputi analisis angket kebutuhan siswa dan guru, dan analisis data akhir. Angket kebutuhan siswa dan guru menjadi acuan pembuatan buku panduan tersebut sehingga validator memberikan penilaian dengan interval 4,00 sampai dengan 4,50 sehingga buku panduan motivatif dan audio dikatakanvalid. Berdasarkan 30 responden menghasilkan nilai t hitung6,62 dan pada taraf signifikan 5% dan n = 30 diperoleh t tabel = 1,68 yang berarti bahwa t hitung lebih dari t tabel sehingga menunjukkan ha diterima. Buku panduan motivatif berbantuan audio bermuatan kewirausahaan efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan menulis cerpen. Proporsi siswa yang mencapai KKM lebih dari 80% sehingga tuntas secara klasikal. Saran pengembangan lebih lanjut buku tersebut untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berbicara siswa.This study focuses on the development of motivational guide-book with audio media for learning how to write short stories based on entrepreneurship education. The aim of the research is to obtain a valid guide-book that can be used for effective learning. The Research is R&D research developed by Borg and Gall. The study population was high-school students in Semarang City grade X Semester 1 Academic year 2014/2015. The research variables include motivational guide-book, audio media, and short-story writing skills. While data collection techniques were the methods of testing, documentation, observation and questionnaire. Data analysis techniques include questionnaire analysis students’ and teacher’s needs, and the final data analysis (test for normality, homogeneity test and t-test). The questionnaire of students’and teachers’needs becomes a reference in making this guide-book and the validators gave scores between 4.00 to 4.50 so the motivational guide-book with audio media is supposed to be valid and the short-story writing skill of the students will be better. As the proportion of students which classically achieved KKM is more than 80%, so the learning is effective. Further research is expected to develop the guide book, not only to improve the skill of writing short stories, but also the skills of speaking

Abstract

The intertextual study between Ajidarma’s Kitab Omong Kosong and the Ramayana romance hypogram composed by Rajagopalachari leads us to the defamiliarization of the hegemony of Ramas power, deviating to the heinous, barbaric, and harassing domination of power over the people of the Ayodya colony. In the Ramayana romance, the hegemony of Ramas power, as awatara Lord Vishnu, being honored by his people for his courage against Rahwanas wrath. The hegemony of Ramas power goes hand in hand with the moral, the virtues of life, and the dharma. Ajidarma’s Kitab Omong Kosong is marked by defamiliarization motives. The motives form a plot (sjuzet) that deviates from the Ramayana and creates the wholeness of the story (fabula) which is constructed with a unique structure. Ramas character is told by defamiliar motives that (1) deviate not far from convention, (2) balanced between convention and innovation, and (3) free oneself by convention. Ajidarma created the story of Rama with several advantages: (1) deviating the role of the characters, thus avoiding the binary opposition of black and white characters in reaching power, (2) the stories being woven in a unique story structure, alternating between myths, facts, and literary images, (3) as a whole the novel it creates presents a peculiar and unique story (fabula), and (4) the novel becomes a plural text, i.e. a text with plural interpretations.

Abstract

This research is entitled Linguistic Defamiliarization in the text of Ahmad Tohari’s Trilogy. One of problems discussed is the form of linguistic defamiliarization in the text of Ahmad Tohari’s novels united in a trilogy. The purpose of this study is to describe the form of linguistic defamiliarization in the text. Theoretically, this research contributes (1) to adding a new insight about the writing Ahmad Tohari’s rhetorical style and (2) to the preparation or writing of the history of Indonesian literary theory. Meanwhile, among the practical benefits that can be obtained is the appreciation of interesting language and literature learning. This research is a qualitative descriptive study employing an analytical approach and hermeneutic technique. It was carried out in such a way because it was difficult to avoid using an eclectic method to analyze a novel. The use of integrated the methods was expected to get maximum results. The data in this study were linguistic data in the form of sentence fragments contained in the text of the novels in the trilogy, namely Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk, Lintang Kemukus Dini Hari, and Jentera Bianglala. The data were in the form of chunks of the characters’ speech and the author’s narration in the form of words, phrases, clauses, sentences and discourse that allegedly contained forms of defamiliarization. The data collection technique employed in this study was the documentary technique and first level of semiotic reading technique. The data collection technique used in this study can be described as follows, (1) reading the text of the trilogy employing the first level of semiotic reading technique, i.e. the heuristic reading. This reading technique was based on a linguistic convention; (2) keeping records of data coded according to the characteristics on the data cards; (3) classifying the data according to the types of problems, namely the forms defamiliarization at word, phrase, clause, sentence, and discourse levels. On the data analysis stage, a second level of reading technique was applied, that is the hermeneutic technique, to provide the overall meanings of the text. The results of this study show that the form of text defamiliarization in  Ahmad Tohari’s trilogy are in all linguistic levels, i.e. word, phrase, clause, sentence and discourse ones. At the word level, the defamiliarization is in the form of connotative meaning utilization, exploiting the Javanese words, the use of foreign terms, the use of expletives, and the utilization of compositum. Meanwhile, at the phrase level it shows the use of endocentric attributive phrases, endocentric connective phrases, verbal phrases, noun phrases, and prepositional phrases. An the clause level it shows the use of verbal clauses, adjectival clauses, and nominal clauses. The sentences found in the text are in the form of simple sentences and compound/complex sentences with varied structural patterns, both compound and complex sentences.
