Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to find out the principals leadership role in increasing the motivation of teachers to teach Islamic Education in High School of Martia Bhakti-Bekasi. This research uses method of naturalistic-qualitative. This method also uses phenomenology and tries to understand the meaning of events and its implications for the research object. From this research we know that principals of leadership have sought to increase the motivation of teachers to teach Islamic Education. The attitude of the principal is very positive, excited, interested, and ready and has the duties and responsibilities as a principal agency to promote education by improving the motivation of teachers to teach Islamic Education.

Abstract

Kyai Haji Ahmad Dahlan (1 August 1868 Yogyakarta - 23 February 1923 Yogyakarta), born Muhammad Darwis, was an Indonesian Islamic revivalist who established Muhammadiyah in 1912. He created Muhammadiyah in 1912 as an educational organisation as a means of realising his reformist ideals. It was quickly joined by traders and craftsmen. In 1917 added a womens section named Aisyiyah, which played a significant role in modernising the life of Indonesian women. Spreading to the Outer Islands, Muhammadiyah established a strong base in Sulawesi only a decade later after it was founded. It was one of a number of indigenous Indonesian organisations founded in the first three decades of the twentieth century;a time known as the Indonesian National Revival; that were key in establishing a sense of Indonesian nationalism, and ultimately independence. Dahlan was completely absorbed in the field of education. Aiming point on the world of education in turn drove him into the heart of the people who actually matter. Based on the description of this concept can be used later to build a more effective nation that is through education. KH Ahmad Dahlan is a man of action types that are already in place when leaving quite a lot of charitable efforts are not made. Therefore, to explore how the philosophical orientation of education Ahmad Dahlan more properly refers to how he built the educational system.

Abstract

This article explains about ijtihad and its relation to shari’ah (Islamic law), fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and ushul fiqh (methodology of Islamic jurisprudence). Ijtihad (اجتهاد‎,) derives from jahada (struggle). Ijtihad is a technical term of Islamic law that describes the process of making a legal decision by independent interpretation of the legal sources (shari’ah), the Quran and the Sunnah. In ushul fiqh, these qualifications of mujtahid can be summed up as (i) an understanding of the objectives of the sharia and (ii) a knowledge of its sources and methods of deduction. The "gates of ijtihad" were "closed" in the 10th century in Sunni fiqh, meaning that ijtihad is not practiced in Sunni Islam anymore. In modern application, conservative Muslims say that most Muslims do not have the training in legal sources to conduct ijtihad. They argue that this role was traditionally given to those who have studied for a number of years under a scholar. However, liberal movements within Islam generally argue that any Muslim can perform ijtihad, given that Islam has no generally accepted clerical hierarchy or bureaucratic organization. A number of revivalist tendencies have re-opened the doors of ijtihad though not in a liberal direction.

Abstract

A research has been done using seismic refraction method to determine the depth of bedrock in the Village ofKemuning Lor, sub district of Arjasa, Jember. The Data acquisition was done by using 12 geophones and usingweight drop vibrations sources. The distance between the vibration source and the first geophone is 10 metersaway, while the distance among geophones is 2 meter away each. This Data acquisitions used two tracks (thefirst track was about 90 meters and the second track was about 40 meters). The first and second track werecrossing each other, the first track lied from the main road to crevasse, while the second track lied in line withthe crevasse. The result was that we were able to obtain three layers having the depth of 3,03-6,76 m; 4,37-9,93m and 10,68-13,32 m, and having spreading speed 168,9-198,8 m; 425,1-511,7 m and 909,1-972,2 m. Theobtained bedrock profile had declivity toward the crevasse and is assumed to have the potential of soilmovement.

Abstract

The area around of Jember University has potential as a trading area because the majority of its citizens are immigrants. This potential is utilized by street food vendors located around the University of Jember. Most street vendors dispose of waste i.e used cooking oil directly around trading locations. One methode to determine waste seepage in the soil is to use the geoelectric method with crosshole dipole-dipole configuration. This research is a laboratory scale research. The sample of soil and waste of used cooking oil were taken from the location of street vendors around Jember University. Based on the research results, the soil resistivity value before being given the waste is 2.78 Ωm to 7.52 Ωm. While the value of soil resistivity after given the waste of used cooking oil ranged from 0.01 Ωm to 5.15 Ωm. Observations from the first day to the seventh day indicate that the movement of waste used cooking oil occurs vertically due to gravity and in all directions due to capillarity.

Abstract

Islamic Guidance is social rehabilitation program for Drug Addiction (resident). The goal of this research to know the Islamic guidance for resident at the Center for Rehabilitation of the National Narcotics Agency Lido Bogor. The methodology in this research is qualitative descriptive, with a sample two religious counselor. Can be concluded that Islamic guidance is implemented with the classical format, group format, and individual formats. The goal of the Islamic Guidance to develop religious mentally.

Abstract

Indonesia has many kinds of plants iles-iles (Amorphophallus oncophyllus). In this study, using raw materials derived from the Goa Kreo, Semarang, Central Java, the area has two types of iles-iles, namely A. oncophyllus and A. variabillis. Plants iles-iles (konjac) contains a fairly high Glukomannan, glukomannan is a polysaccharide composed of units of D-glucose and D-mannose. In this study intended to determine the content of glucomannan plant iles-iles in Goa Kreo. By using gravimetric methods phenyl hydrazine, glucomannan levels were obtained at 30.56%. In this study also aims to determine the viscosity of konjac flour are affected by operating conditions such as the total concentration of konjac flour, stirring time, and pH (pH 2-8). With a higher sucrose concentration, viscosity konjac flour tends to decrease. For salt concentrations (0, 10; 20% w / v) no effect on the viscosity. Improved high viscosity can be observed mixture for konjac - rice flour, konjac - wheat flour and konjac - corn flour. For gel formation, the hydrocolloid which interacts synergistically with konjac flour to form a gel. Hydrocolloids are carrageenan. This gel texture varies according to the ratio of konjac flour - carrageenan.

Abstract

Nowadays, developing vehicle is made as light as posible with the purpose to reduce energy consumption. For this reason, material that can be used is aluminium that has light weight and non corrosion properties. Aluminum structure will be not strong enough, it still need another material like steel to make it stronger and stiffer. Joining aluminum to steel has problems because of very low solubility, thus it requires other material as its medium in which it accelerates promoter solubility aluminum to steel. In this study, mixture of Fe and Cu powder was used as promoter material or filler in the process of diffusion welding of aluminium and steel.. The  good results diffusion between the steel with aluminum filler hence the need for variation of Fe and Cu. Aluminum and steel welding process with adapting diffusion treatment will produces intermetallic layer. Intermetallic layer was formed from the fussion among two different material, and it made new compound. This research showed some different solubility level of aluminum in steel in every variation of filler composition. The highest solubility ratio of aluminum in steel was 0.4 which reached in the specimens with filler composition of 40% Fe,60% Cu and 60% Fe,40% Cu.

Abstract

Perilaku menyimpang merupakan suatu hal yang sangat dianggap sebagai momok masyarakat dan untuk memprbaikinya dapat melalui salah satu bimbingan layanan dan konseling yaitu layanan informasi sosial. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, dengan pendekatan korelasional, teknik pengumpulan data; observasi, angket, dan. Teknik analisis; deskriptif, dan korelasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah adanya hubungan antara layanan informasi sosial dengan kecenderungan perilaku sosial siswa, dengan semakin baik layanan informasi sosial yang diberikan maka semakin baik pula perilaku sosial siswa. Kata kunci : Informasi Sosial, Perilaku Sosial

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain optical properties (absorption spectrum) and electrical properties (photoconductivity) of organic dyes in DSSC performance. optical and electrical properties were tested by using UV-Visible Spectrophotometer and Elkahfi 1601 PC 100 / IV meter, respectively, while Keithley Type 2600A is used for the characterization of DSSC. This study is a great base to explore and investigate the development of DSSC solar cells using natural dyes (organic). Spectra optimal absorption and photoconductivity produced by natural dyes (organic). The results of this study indicate that the absorption spectrum of natural dyes (organic) in the range of 300-500 nm. electrical characteristics (I-V) of the increase in linear dye under illumination. I-V characteristics of DSSC from organically produced natural dyes to color the biggest-mangosteen obtained Voc of 565 mV; JSC = 1.52 A / m2; FF = 0.12; and η_ef is approximately 0.09%, respectively,. The conclusion of this study, natural dyes (organic) can be an attractive alternative as a dye.
