Abstract

The purpose of the research is to discuss and choose of the structures for managing of run-of water resources.This research is conducted by observing  the soil layers of 130x300 m2 wide and 4 m depth at 17th stations in Kabupaten Karang Anyar. Water table, hard soil, and gravel-soil is parameter for choosing the structure that is allowable. Hard-soil or water tabel on 2.0 - 2.5 meter at Colomadu, Kebakramat, Jaten, Tasik Madu,and Karang Anyar. Hard-soil or water tabel  on 2.5 – 3.0 meter at Matesih, Karang Pandan, Mojogedang, Jumapolo, and Ngargoyoso.Hard-soil on 3.0 – 4.0 at Kerjo, Jumantono, Jatipuro, and Jatiyoso. Big gravel-soil at Tawang Mangu, and Jenawi.The result showed that small dam or horizontal infiltration hole-water is allowable at Jenawi, Tawang Mangu, Karang Anyar, Jaten, Tasik Madu. Vertical infiltration hole-water is allowable at anothers. Abstract

Indonesian’s gorvernment has make regulation No.7, 2004, about water resources engineering. It also content in Principle Ordinance of Indonesia 1945 in chapter XIV, and in section 33 which says that the land, the water and the rich of Indonesian’s nature is having by the government and used to as much as the civilian prosperity.Some initiatives has made by the government to increase the number of food production. They are consist of two ways, intensification and extensification methods which are suported by technical, semi technical, and simple technical irrigation system. Because of the Growth of Indonesian’s population, the demand of rice as main food is increase.Water demand research for village irrigation is needed to increase the production of rice. To estimate the demand of water, it is a must to have investigation first. The investigation is used to investigate some datas, they are the dimension of river chanall, the speed of water and the discharge of river. There are two method to looking for them. First method is using the floating object and then the second one is using Current Meter. Using Floating Object is suitable to looking for the datas in a village irrigation system, but it is a must to use another equipment as equal equipment. Keywords : Water Demand, Village  Irrigation

Abstract

Irrigation Area in Central Java Provincy is managed by two element. They are government and P3A (Perkumpulan Petani Pemakai Air ) Dharma Tirta. Government has responsibility to manage the primary and secondery Irrigation net, and P3A has responsibility to manage the tertiary Irrigation net. To know the ability of P3A to manage the teriary Irrigation net, government has a method, it has standart grade for P3A in Central Java. Every years, the government of Central Java evaluate the progress of each grade of P3A. with the grade, Government classify P3A into 3 group, they are undeveloped, now being developed, and   developing P3A. Abstract

Irrigation Management which across through provinces, regencies, and located in one regency of the Irrigation Area (DI) had different level of difficulty,  in spite of technical problems, it is also influenced by  factors of society behavioral. Then, irrigation management based on the technical and behavioral of the society to its local wisdom that sourced from the local cultural innovation was interested to be analyzed. The local wisdom potency which was based on its own autonomy and independence will be beneficial optimally and directed positively in many kinds of forms and efforts to overcome problems related to effectiveness and efficiency of irrigation system management. The location of the research was determined randomly from 12 provinces which consist of 37 regencies in Java and outside of Java. The aims of this research were identifying irrigation regulation, the service water irrigation, the physical condition of irrigation network, implementation of Governmental Regulation, analysis between manifest variable correlation with construct variable and  construct variable with others construct  variable, interpretation of test hypothesis for each of latent variable, the influence analysis to the used of  water in  irrigation, and formulation of policy in irrigation  management. Thus, the development of model to manage irrigation based on local wisdom using variable of technical and social aspect were interested to be analyzed. Abstract

Indonesia has two seasons namely rainy season and dry season. When dry season comes, farmers got the hardest hit by the limited amount of water, to where it becomes very valuable. There are two ways to solve the deficit of water during dry season. The first way is to carry out an appropriate water management, and the second one is to initiate the efficient use of water. There are other problem involving water irrigation distribution in areas that comprise several regencies, especially in down stream areas where shortage of supply of irrigation water happens. Thus, it is imperative to manage water resources and water irrigation distribution system. For example, farmer community has to hold a meeting to set a plan of water distribution. Distribution of irrigation water can be accurately determined using coefficient value of K. Abstract

ABSTRAKPerguruan tinggi agama Islam (PTAI) sebagai bagian integral dari sistem pendidikan nasional tidak bisa melepaskan diri dari perubahan paradigma baru perguruan tinggi yang saat ini sedang gencar terjadi. Ada paradigma baru ini, kebijakan pengelolaan perguruan tinggi harus lebih terbuka, transparan, dan akuntabel. Saat ini PTAI menghadapi dua permasalahan serius, yakni kualitas lulusan yang dihasilkan dan sumbangan PTAI pada pengembangan ilmu keislaman. Pada konteks kualitas lulusan, kapasitas intelektual dan keilmuan para lulusan PTAI menunjukkan bahwa banyak dari para lulusan PTAI yang belum sanggup menjawab setiap permasalahan keagamaan yang berkembang di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Masalah kedua di atas disebabkan karena geliat yang ada di dalam kampus saat ini lebih banyak yang bersifat politis daripada ilmiah. Selain itu, tradisi menulis karya ilmiah atau penelitian di kalangan kampus PTAI juga terkesan dipaksakan. Tulisan ini berupaya menwarkan gagasan untuk membangun Managemen Penjaminan Mutu dengan Prinsip Six Sgima pada Perguruan Tinggi Agama Islam (PTAI) untuk Merespon Tantangan Nasional dan Global. Mengacu pada semangat paradigma baru Perguruan Tinggi dan problem yang dihadapi oleh PTAI ini, maka keberadaan jaminan mutu (quality assurance) di PTAI penting dilakukan. Selama ini, mayoritas PTAI tidak memiliki lembaga atau unit penjaminan mutu karena dua alasan. Pertama, khusus bagi PTAIN sebagai lembaga yang selalu disubsidi pemerintah, selama ini merupakan “anak manja” yang keberadaannya terjamin APBN, bagaimanapun kualitasnya. Kedua, sebagai akibat dari alasan pertama, pada umumnya pimpinan PTAI melihat proses penjaminan mutu sebagai tugas manajemen dirinya. Kata Kunci: Six Sigma, Manajemen Mutu, Penjaminan Mutu, Total Quality

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze Daniels’ work of historical context in his movie The Butler. To reveal the purpose of research, the writers utilize qualitative methodology with a mimetic approach to analyze the historical context in the movie. The results concluded that this movie gives a significant proportion in three types of history, namely political, social, and intellectual history. In the political aspect, the movie depicts the history when the United States used to establish the Segregation Law based on racial background. In the social aspect, the movie depicts non-white Americans who were considered unworthy. Whereas, in intellectual aspect, the movie portrays many historical figures and other Americans who fought the injustice demanding equality as the citizens.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of head elevation on mean arterial pressure, blood pressure, and intracranial pressure among hemorrhagic stroke at the Margono Soekarjo Hospital Purwokerto on 2011. The study was employed quasi experimental design pre and post test with control group. This research used analytical descriptive. And, the data was analyzed by t test dependent and chi square analysis approach. There was significant effect of head elevation positioning on mean arterial pressure, blood pressure, and intracranial pressure among hemorrhagic stroke patients after the treatment (p value 0, 00) of intervention group in the Margono Soekarjo Hospital Purwokerto. Meanwhile, there was no significant change of control group on mean arterial pressure, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and intracranial pressure (p values were 0,206, 0,761 and 0,092, and 0,058 respectively). The study showed that there was significant effect of head elevation positioning on mean arterial pressure, blood pressure, and intracranial pressure among hemorrhagic stroke patients after the treatment (p value 0, 00).

Abstract

Telah difabrikasi directional coupler yang berfungsi sebagai pembagi daya (power divider) dengan pendekatan metode Fused Biconical Tapered (FBT) dengan memanfaatkan serat optik step-index multimode tipe FD-320-05, buatan Autonics, Korea. Struktur ini mempunyai dimensi diameter teras (core) 200 μm, tebalselubung (cladding) 150μm dan lebar gap antar teras serat optik sebesar 100 μm. Indeks bias teras dan selubung masing-masing sebesar 1,49, dan 1,41. Hasil perhitungan karakterisasi directional coupler diperoleh nilai coupling ratio (CR) sebesar 0,31 pada panjang interaksi kopling antar serat optik 25 mm. Hasil ini sesuai dengan standarisasi karakteristik directional coupler hasil fabrikasi industri, dengan demikian devais ini dapat digunakan sebagai komponen pembagi daya (power divider).Hasil ekstrapolasi data melalui grafik menunjukkan bahwa devais ini dapat ditingkatkan fungsinya sebagai pemecah berkas (splitter) dengan panjang interaksi kopling sekitar 27 mm.

Abstract

Deteksi ketinggian air secara kontinyu telah berhasil dilakukan berbasis pada sensor pergeseran menggunakan multimode fiber coupler dengan membran dari bahan polyisoprene sebagai reflektor. Prinsip kerja sensor menggunakan perubahan tekanan hidrostatis akibat perubahan ketinggian air dalam tangki untuk menggeser membran yang diberi bahan reflektor. Pergeseran membran menyebabkan perubahan daya optis berkas balik cahaya pantulan dari membran yang masuk ke kanal sensing fiber coupler. Perubahan daya optis berkas balik terkopel ke kanal deteksi fiber coupler dan terbaca dalam bentuk tegangan keluaran detektor optis. Resolusi ketinggian air yang mempu dideteksi sebesar 1 mm dengan rentang ketinggian 45 mm - 320 mm. Daerah linier dan sensitivias sensor yang dihasilkan masing-masing sebesar 10,4 μV/mm dan 130 mm - 320 mm.
