Abstract

  Sorghum is one of high value commodities for food and energy security due to its wide adaptation. The objectives of this research were to study some genetic parameters of sorghum agronomic traits grown under acid soil conditions and to select aluminum-tolerant sorghum mutant lines.  The selection was conducted in an augmented design with 61 lines at the field research station of B2TP-BPPT Lampung. Genetic materials used were mutant lines developed throught gamma irradiation.  The results showed that there was significant differences among the mutant lines for  some agronomic characters observed.  The heritability estimates for agronomic characters were classified as intermediate to high.  Selection based on seed weight and biomass production resulted three best sorghum mutan lines i.e ZH30-29-07, ZH30-30-07, and ZH30-35-07.  These lines showed the best yield and biomass production under acid soil condition.   Key words:  sorghum, acid soil, heritability, selection

Abstract

Water scarcity still becomes a problem in some dryland agricultural areas in Indonesia. Development of dryland farming system may be focused on crops that are required less water such as sorghum. Sorghum is a cereal crop that is usually grown under hot and dry condition and it is ideal for Indonesia. Sorghum is a good source of food, animal feed and raw material for ethanol. Indonesia is currently looking for alternative renewable energy resources and sorghum is regarded as one of the promising source of bioethanol as bioenergy. Unfortunately, most agricultural land in western part of the country particularly in Sumatera and Kalimantan is dryland and dominated by acid soil. The main constraint of crop production in acid soil is deficiency and Al toxicity. Therefore, development of sorghum cultivation in dryland farming system requires a variety which is tolerant to such conditions. Sorghum breeding for acid soil tolerance had been conducted at PATIR-BATAN by using induced mutations with gamma irradiation. The breeding objective was to search for sorghum genotypes tolerant to acid soil condition and with regard to sorghum use for bioethanol production. A number of 66 breeding materials, including the mutants, had been screened for acid soil tolerance on land with soil pH of 4.2 and 39% Al saturation in Lampung Province. Ten sorghum genotypes had been identified as high yielding in the acid soil condition. The mutant lines GH-ZB-41-07, YT30-39-07, B-76 and B-92 had grain yield higher (>4.5 t/ha) than the control plants (Durra, Mandau and Numbu). Sorghum mutants ZH30-29-07, ZH30-30-07 and ZH30-35-07 were promising for grain-base bioethanol production with ethanol yield exceeded 2,000 l/ha. Meanwhile, the sweet sorghum mutants ZH30-35-07, ZH30-30-07 and ZH30-29-07 had brix content of 11.59, 11.95 and 10.50%, respectively. Abstract

ABSTRAK STUDI LAJU KOROSI PADUAN Zr-Mo-Fe-Cr DALAM MEDIA UAP AIR JENUH PADA TEMPERATUR 250 - 300 °C. Logam paduan Zr-Mo-Fe-Cr merupakan salah satu kandidat bahan struktur elemen bakar nuklir di masa mendatang. Logam paduan tersebut harus memenuhi persyaratan sifat mekanik, fisis, kimia dan neutronik sebagai bahan struktur elemen bakar nuklir. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mempelajari laju korosi paduan Zr-Mo-Fe-Cr dalam media uap air jenuh pada temperatur 250 - 300 °C. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode gravimetri tidak kontinyu. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa laju korosi paduan Zr-0,3%Mo-0,5%Fe-0,5%Cr dan Zr-0,8%Mo-0,5%Fe-0,5%Cr yang telah dihomogenisasi pada temperatur 750 °C selama 3 jam atau temperatur 850 °C selama 3 jam, dalam media uap air jenuh pada temperatur 250 - 300 °C dengan waktu 2 - 16 jam, adalah relatif sama dan naik secara kubik. Akan tetapi, paduan Zr-0,3%Mo-0,5%Fe-0,5%Cr relatif lebih tahan korosi dibandingkan paduan Zr-0,8%Mo-0,5%Fe-0,5%Cr. Laju korosi paduan Zr-Mo-Fe-Cr dipengaruhi oleh kandungan Mo dan perlakuan homogenisasi terhadap ingot paduannya. KATA KUNCI: Paduan Zr-Mo-Fe-Cr, Homogenisasi, Laju korosi ABSTRACT STUDY OF CORROSION RATE OF Zr-Mo-Fe-Cr ALLOY IN SATURATED VAPOUR MEDIUM AT TEMPERATURES 250 - 300 °C. Zr-Mo-Fe-Cr alloy represents one of the candidates for structure material of nuclear fuel element in the future. The alloy has to fulfil certain qualifications which include mechanical, physical, chemical and neutronic properties to serve as nuclear fuel element structure material. The objective of this research is to study the corrosion rate of Zr-Mo-Fe-Cr alloy in saturated vapour medium at temperatures of 250 - 300 °C. The method used in the research is gravimetry. The test results indicate that the corrosion rates of Zr-0.3%Mo­0.5%Fe-0.5%Cr and Zr-0.8%Mo-0.5%Fe-0.5%Cr alloys, which have been homogenized at temperature of 750 °C for 3 hours or at temperature of 850 °C for 3 hours, in saturated vapour medium at temperatures of 250 - 300 °C for 2 - 16 hours, are relatively equal and increase cubically. However, Zr-0.3%Mo-0.5%Fe-0.5%Cr alloy shows relative better corrosion resistance than Zr-0.8%Mo-0.5%Fe-0.5%Cr alloy. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan instrumen evaluasi media modul pembelajaran untuk mahasiswa yang dapat digunakan untuk mengevaluasi modul dari aspek materi, pembelajaran dan aspek permediaan. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian pengembangan dengan mengacu pada langkah-langkah yang dikembangkan oleh Borg and Gall yaitu 1) Melakukan penelitian pendahuluan dan pengumpulan informasi, 2) Melakukan perencanaan 3) Mengembangkan produk awal  4) Melakukan uji coba permulaan, 5) Melakukan revisi terhadap produk utama  6) Melakukan uji lapangan utama, 7) Melakukan revisi terhadap produk operasional 8) Melakukan uji lapangan operasional 9) Melakukan revisi terhadap produk akhir 10) Mendesiminasikan dan mengimplementasikan produk.. Subjek penelitian 1 ahli materi, 2 ahli media dan 5 mahasiswa untuk uji utama dan 14 mahasiswa untuk uji operasional.  Metode pengumpulan data yaitu angket.. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik  deskriptif. Hasil penelitian secara umum menunjukkan  bahwa Instrumen Evaluasi Modul Pembelajaran untuk mahasiswa yang mencakup aspek fisik, aspek pendahuluan, aspek isi, aspek tugas/evaluasi, dan aspek rangkuman pada kategori baik dan dapat digunakan sebagai instrumen dalam mengevaluasi modul pembelajaran untuk mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai efektifitas sistem layanan pendidikan yang diberikan institusi terhadap anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian expost-facto, dengan subjek institusi/sekolah yang memperikan layanan pendidikan terhadap anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus yang diambil secara purposive, sebanyak 5 (lima) sekolah, dan 25 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: Lembaga/ sekolah yang memiliki visi misi yang baik, dengan mengembangkan kurikulum dan proses pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa berkebutuhan ternyata telah berkontribusi terhadap prestasi belajar siswanya. Ada empat (.80.%) dari lima sekolah yang dijadikan subyek yang telah melakukan hal tsb; Secara umum komponen pembelajaran, kurikulum, proses, dan tenaga pendidik yang ada, sebagian besar (≥ 75%) dianggap sudah memadai dan memenuhi persyaratan kualifikasi dan profesionalisme untuk pemberian layanan pendidikan anak berkebutuhan khusus. Namun sebagian lain (≤ 25%) menilai masih kurang memadai, untuk pemberian layanan pendidikan anak berkebutuhan khusus, dan Dari sisi hasil (outcome) menunjukkan adanya pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran (79%), dan hanya sebagian kecil (21%) yang menyatakan bahwa hasil (outcome) yang ada belum memadai untuk memberikan layanan kepada anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus. Secara umum KKM telah tercapai, meskipun tingkat keberhasilan melanjutkan studi, dan pencapaian prestasi-prestasi (akademik dan nonakademik) di luar lembaga masih kurang, atau belum memenuhi harapan.   Kata Kunci: Pendidikan anak berkebutuhan khusus

Abstract

Teachers need the competencies to develop learning material especially module,considering that the development of learning material could contribute to the efficiencyand effectiveness of students learning process. Moreover, learning materials have asignificant role both for teachers and students in individual learning and classical orgroup learning context.Learning using module has some characteristics that are, self instruction, therecognition of individual differences, including the learning objectives/competencies, theoccurrence of existence, structure and knowledge order, the use of multimedia, studentsactive participation, direct reinforcement toward students’ respond, evaluation towardstudents learning.In order to develop module, we need to consider some techniques andcomponents required, such as: the course overview component, introduction, learningactivities, exercises, summary, formative test, and answer key for formative test andfollow up. On the other hand, to develop module we can use some techniques includingstarting from scratch, information repackaging, and compilation.The utilization of module in the learning process can be done in the context ofboth individual learning and group learning system.

Abstract

Soengkono, Anggri Puspita Sari; This study aims to revitalize the local economy based on the economic potential of resources and preservation of protected areas through appropriate integrated technological innovation to improve productivity, value and sustainable market access added. Data analysis was performed in conjunction with the data collection process (analysis will) and applicable techniques in qualitative penelitihan. Appropriate development model used technologies adapted, arranged with the potential of existing human resources, natural resources, the existence of potential team of experts, as well as the potential of the existing business environment. Development of models aimed at the formation of community groups productive coffee farmers, the development of appropriate production technology modules coffee processing and packaging printing business.
