Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the income of ornamental plant traders living in the central area (Nglurah) and non-centers (Kalisoro and Ngledoksari). The main method of this research is descriptive analysis. The location of this research is intentional (purposive), by selecting Tawangmangu District as the research location. The method of determining the respondents was done accidentally (accidental sampling) to 30 traders of ornamental plants of the central area and 30 traders of ornamental plants of non-central areas. Data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis method used is income analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, F test, and T-test. Based on earnings analysis shows the average total cost of local traders in the central region of 8,508,364.62 IDR with income of 14,330,849.82 IDR and income of 5,822,485.20 IDR. The average number of cost traders in non-central areas is 7,983,978.00 IDR with revenue of 14,590,483.33 IDR, and income of 6,606,505.33 IDR. The result of T-test shows that the income of ornamental plant traders in the central area is influenced by the experience of trading (X2), venture capital (X3), and land area (X6). While traders of ornamental plants in non-central areas are influenced by the experience of trading (X2), venture capital (X3), and labor in the family (X5).

Abstract

ABSTRAKPangan merupakan kebutuhan utama dalam kehidupan manusia. Pemenuhan kebutuhan pangan baik dari segi jumlah, mutu, gizi maupun keamanan berkaitan dengan Sumberdaya Manusia (SDM). Kualitas konsumsi pangan dan gizi masyarakat menentukan SDM masyarakat tersebut. Agroindustri pangan lokal merupakan kegiatan yang memberdayakan sumberdaya lokal (indigenous resources). Seluruh potensi lokal dimanfaatkan untuk menguatkan agroindustri pangan lokal. Penduduk di kawasan wisata Rumah Dome belum mampu mengolah bahan pangan lokal. Kegiatan ini bertujuan membentuk kelompok usaha produktif Ibu-Ibu PKK di Rumah Dome untuk dapat meningkatkan nilai ekonomis pangan lokal (ketela pohon). Hal yang dilakukan adalah memberikan pelatihan pengolahan ketela pohon menjadi ceriping singkong berbagai rasa, keripik belut daun singkong, membuat brownies berbahan tepung ketela, mengemas produk dengan brand Rumah Dome dan memberikan pelatihan pembukuan sederhana. Dengan kegiatan ini diharapkan akan tumbuh kelompok usaha produktif sehingga dapat mengangkat citra wisata Rumah Dome dan meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat di Rumah Dome.  Kata Kunci: kelompok usaha, brownies singkong, Rumah DomABSTRACTFood is a major necessity in human life. This activity aims to establish productive business of woman group (PKK) in Dome House to increase the economic value of local food (cassava). The activities are training for production process, packaging with Dome House’s brand and simple accounting management. The cassava processing training are: (1) making variety flavors of cassava chips; (2) producing eel chips from cassava leaves and (3) making brownies from cassava flour. Abstract

Business Tortila Chips Insan Mandiri is a business that is engaged in theprocessing of corn. At one stage in the production process, i.e. the moldingstage tortilla chips, are still done manually so it takes a long time, shapes andsizes are not uniform. IbM program was implemented with the aim to increaseefficiency in the production process, especially in terms of shortening themolding and training partners to create a simple financial reports. Service activities using the dialog metode (FGD), introduction and applicationof technology, training, and assistance in an integrated manner. Technologythat introduced and applied to partners through this IbM activity is aTortila Chips display device to create rounded shapes, rectangles and hexagons.The training are simple financial bookkeeping trainings. Introduction to Tortilla Chips display device has been done and partnershave used these tools properly, so the shorter the time required, the productioncapacity can be increased, the product has a uniform shape and size so that thequantity and quality becomes better, which in turn will increase profits. Abstract

The objective of this research is to know the revenue, cost and profit in watermellon farm. It wants to know the efficiency of watermelon farm in Sragen Regency. The method used in this research was analytical descriptive with survey in implementation. The location was selected purposively and it was Desa Pungsari, Kecamatan Plupuh, Kabupaten Sragen. Snowball sampling method is used to choose the sample. The data used in this research was primary data of cultivating season of 2006, which was the newest available data. By using R/C ratio we find that the value is 2,75 per ha. This value shows us that watermelon farm in Sragen had efficien because the value more than one. The average revenue of the farmer was 76.217.500 per ha and the cost was Rp 27.711.550 per ha.

Abstract

Condition of impecunious household food security will progressively susceptible if impecunious household live in area of disaster gristle for example floods disaster. This research aims are to identify the condition of economic social and impecunious household food security in floods gristle area. Research conducted in area of gristle of floods of Town Surakarta cover the Joyontakan, Semanggi, Sangkrah, Kampung Sewu, Jagalan, and Pucangsawit research method used analytical descriptive method. Data of food security condition taken with the interview use the questionnaire from 15 sample household to the each region. Result of research known that economic condition social of impecunious household in area of floods gristle are: a) Most storey level of education of husband and wife are finish elementary school, b) Most work lead household as labor and most of wife do not work or as housewife, c) impecunious household earnings equal to Rp. 1.294.577,77 per month which is as big of earnings come from husband, d) biggest consumption expenditure proportion is food consumption to totalizing expenditure, e) expenditure proportion consume the biggest food at vegetable group, f) expenditure proportion consume biggest non food at housing group. Impecunious household in area of flood gristle Surakarta included in a household which food insecurity.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to analyze factors that influence to employees’performance at Kerjo Factory on PTTPN IX in Batujamus Karanganyar regency.Likert scaling method is used to measure qualitative variables, then multiple linearregression used to analyse independent variables that consist of work motivation,work discipline, and job satisfaction as well as the dependent variable that consistingof employees’ performance.The results showed that R Square is 0,663, it means that66,3% of the variation dependent variable (employees’ performance) can be explainedby the independent variable which consist of work motivation, work discipline , andjob satisfaction. The remaining 33,7 % variable variation is explained by other factorsoutsides of the model such as work environment, work status ,workload, and other.The results showed that work motivation, work discipline, and job satisfaction havejointly significant effect on employees’ performance, while individually only workmotivation and job satisfaction have a significant effect on employees’ performance atthe research location. Work discipline individually have no significant effect onemployees’ performance. The most dominant factor influence to employees’performance onresearch location is work motivation factor. An increase in theelements of motivation and job satisfaction are going to improve the performance ofemployees. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja, disiplin kerja dan kepuasan kerja, serta mengetahui variabel manakah yang pengaruhnya palingdominan terhadap kinerja karyawan Pabrik Teknik Kerjo PT. Perkebunan NusantaraIX Batujamus Karanganyar. Metode dasar penelitian yang digunakan adalah metodepenelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pabrik Teknik Kerjo PT.Perkebunan Nusantara IX Batujamus Karanganyar. Teknik analisis data menggunakanregresi linier berganda. Variabel bebas terdiri dari motivasi kerja, disiplin kerja, dankepuasan kerja. Variabel terikat yaitu kinerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa R Square sebesar 0,663 artinya 66,3% variasi variabel terikat (kinerjakaryawan) dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel bebas yang terdiri dari motivasi kerja,disiplin kerja, dan kepuasan kerja. Sisanya sebesar 33,7% variasi variabel dijelaskanoleh faktor-faktor lain diluar model seperti lingkungan kerja, status pekerjaan, bebankerja, dan lain-lain. Faktor motivasi kerja, disiplin kerja, dan kepuasan kerja secarabersama-sama berpengaruh nyata terhadap kinerja karyawan, sedangkan secaraindividu hanya faktor motivasi kerja dan kepuasan kerja yang berpengaruh nyataterhadap kinerja karyawan Pabrik Teknik Kerjo PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IXBatujamus Karanganyar. Faktor disiplin kerja secara individu tidak berpengaruh nyataterhadap kinerja karyawan Pabrik Teknik Kerjo PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IXBatujamus Karanganyar. Faktor motivasi kerja merupakan faktor yang paling dominanberpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan Pabrik Teknik Kerjo PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IX Batujamus Karanganyar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian saran yang dapatdiajukan adalah peningkatan unsur-unsur motivasi dan kepuasan kerja gunameningkatkan kinerja karyawan serta pelaksanaan penelitian lebih lanjut untukmelengkapi/menyempurnakan penelitian ini.

Abstract

Rice is the food crop with the harvested area and production of the highest among other food crops in Karanganyar Regency. From year to year, its harvested area, production, and productivity tend to increase. These increments showed that rice farming is still in demand by farmers. This study aims to analyze the cost, revenue, and efficiency of rice farming in this regency. The study was conducted in 4 districts; Gondangrejo, Karanganyar, Jaten, and Jatipura. From each district were taken two villages. In total, there were 159 farm households sampled randomly. In average,the revenue of rice farming in Karanganyar is Rp14,429,117.37/ha/year with yearly costs of Rp7,142,446.39/ha. The average annual income therefore reaches Rp7,286,670.98/ha. The value of rice farming efficiency is 2.02 indicating that rice farming in Karanganyar is worth the effort.

Abstract

dan mengkaji atribut kedelai (ukuran, kebersihan, warna, harga, kandungan pati dan keseragaman) yangmenjadi preferensi produsen tahu serta atribut kedelai (ukuran , kebersihan, warna, harga, daya kembang dankeseragaman) yang menjadi preferensi produsen tempe. Penelitian dilakukan secara purposive di Kota Surakartadan 6 kabupaten yang merupakan Eks Karesidenan Surakarta yaitu Kabupaten Karanganyar, Kabupaten Boyolali,Kabupaten Sukoharjo, Kabupaten Wonogiri, Kabupaten Sragen dan Kabupaten Klaten. Dari masing-masingdaerah diambil 15 orang produsen tahu dan 15 orang produsen tempe sebagai sampel. Dari seluruh respondenyang dijadikan sampel, hanya 208 yang bisa dianalisis. Penentuan responden menggunakan metode snowballsampling dengan pertimbangan sampel frame tidak tersedia. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan MultiatributFishbein menunjukkan baik produsen tahu maupun tempe lebih menyukai kedelai impor sebagai bahan bakudibanding kedelai lokal. Secara berurutan atribut kedelai yang dipertimbangkan produsen tahu dalam melakukanpembelian kedelai adalah kebersihan, kandungan saripati, ukuran, keseragaman, warna dan harga. Sedangkanyang dipertimbangkan produsen tempe dalam melakukan pembelian kedelai secara berurutan adalah kebersihan,daya kembang, ukuran, warna, keseragaman dan harga. Kedelai yang menjadi preferensi produsen tahu adalahkedelai yang bersih, kandungan saripatinya banyak dan berwarna kuning. Sedangkan kedelai yang menjadipreferensi produsen tempe adalah kedelai yang bersih, daya kembang tinggi (babar-Jawa), warna kuning, ukuranbesar dan seragam.Kata kunci: swasembada, preferensi, kedelaiABSTRACTThis research aims to examine the preferences of tofu and tempeh producers on soybeans as the rawmaterial and to examine the attributes of soybeans (size, cleanliness, color, price, content of essence, anduniformity) which have been the preferences of tofu producers and also the attributes of soybeans (size,cleanliness, color, price, ability to expand, and uniformity) which have been the preferences of tempeh producers.The research was carried out purposively in Surakarta and 6 regencies in the ex-residency of Surakarta, they are:Karanganyar regency, Boyolali regency, Sukoharjo regency, Wonogiri regency, Sragen regency, and Klatenregency. As many as 15 tofu producers and 15 tempeh producers were taken as samples from each regency. Andfrom all respondents, only 208 of them could be analyzed. These respondents were determined by method ofsnowball sampling considering that sample frames were not available. Analysis results using FishbeinMultiattribute show that both the tofu and tempeh producers prefer imported soybeans to local soybeans for theraw material. Sequentially, the attributes of soybeans considered by tofu producers when purchasing soybeansare cleanliness, content of essence, size, uniformity, color, and price. While tempeh producers sequentiallyconsider cleanliness, ability to expand, size, color, uniformity, and price as the attributes of soybeans duringpurchase. Preferred by tofu producers are soybeans that are clean, contain a lot of essence, and have yellow color.While tempeh producers prefer soybeans that are clean, have high ability to expand (babar – Javanese), haveyellow color, big in size, and uniform.Keywords: self-sufficiency, preference, soybean

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know factors that considered by consumer  and  reviewing  dominant  variables  affecting  consumers  consideration toward  repeat  purchase  decision  on  Kalimilk  product  in  Yogyakarta.  The  basic method of this research is analytical description. Location methods performed by purposive sampling method. The location was used as a place of research is the main store of Kalimilk in Kaliurang Km 4.5 Yogyakarta. Method of sampling done by purposive sampling. The total sample set was as much as 96 respondents. The data source is primary and secondary data. Data analysis used in this research is factor analysis. The results showed that from  the 14 variables that were analyzed, it can be simplified into 13 variables and is included in the three core factors. Based on the priority factor, there are, the factor of suitability of products that have percentage of variance 49.023%, place factors that have a variance percentage value of 12.450%, and promotional factors that have a variance percentage value of 8.585%. While most dominant  variable  considered  by  consumers  in  the  purchase  decision  of    dairy products Kalimilk from each of the core factors that form the variable affordability of product form suitability factors, variable comfort of a place factor, and a variable bonus of promotion factor. The dominant variable for all variables are researched based on the loading factor value of all the variables is a variable bonus to the value of  factor  loading  0.876,  affordability  with  a  value  of  factor  loading  0.860,  and variable social media with a value of factor loading  of 0.858.
