Aktivitas Antioksidan dan Toksisitas Ekstrak Metanol dan Pigmen Kasar Spirulina sp.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur aktivitas antioksidan dan menguji toksisitas ketiga ekstrak. Penelitian dilakukan secara laboratoris. Ekstrak Kasar Spirulina sp didapatkan melalui proses maserasi dengan pelarut methanol. Ekstrak pigmen kasar diperoleh melalui partisi dengan pelarut methanol/aseton serta eter.  Aktivitas antioksidan dilakukan dengan mengukur IC50 dengan metode spektrofotometri dengan DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) sedangkan kadar toksisitas dilakukan dengan menghitung LC50 dengan uji BSLT (Brine Shrimp Lethality Test). Kromatografi Kolom Terbuka dilakukan untuk mengisolasi pigmen sedangkan identifikasi pigmen dilakukan dengan teknik Kromatografi Lapis Tipis dan metode spektroskopi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak kasar metanol, ekstrak pigmen kasar methanol/aseton dan eter mempunyai nilai IC50 323,7; 51 dan 34,85 ppm. Nilai LC50 dari ekstrak methanol r, ekstrak kasar pigmen methanol/aseton dan eter berturut-turut adalah 113,20; 65,22 ppm dan 34,11 ppm. Hasil isolasi pigmen dan identifikasi pigmen menunjukkan bahwa pigmen mengandung β-karoten dan klorofil α. Hasil uji fitokimia menunjukkan bahwa ketiga ekstrak positif mengandung senyawa golongan flavonoid dan sterol. Ekstrak pigmen kasar Spirulina sp. selain mempunyai aktivitas antioksidan yang tinggi juga mempunyai toksisitas yang tinggi terhadap nauplii Artemia sp. Kata kunci: Spirulina sp,ekstrak metanol, ekstrak kasar pigmen, IC50, LC50.  The aims of this research were to determine the antioxidant activities and level of toxicity of those three extracts. Spirulina sp crude extract has obtained by maseration technique with methanol solution while crude pigment extract has collected by partition technique with methanol/acetone and ether solution. The laboratory experiments of antioxidant activities (IC50) was determine by DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) and spectrophotometrical methods while the level of toxicity was done by BSLT (Brine Shrimp Lethality Test). The pigment was isolated using the Couloumb Chromatography Methods while pigment identification was done by Thin Layer Chromatography Methods and confirmed spectrophotometrically. The data was analized descriptively. The results showed that IC50 of methanol extract, crude pigment methanol/acetone and ether were 323.7; 51 and 34.85 ppm, respectively. Furthermore, the toxicity level LC50 of methanol extract, crude pigment methanol/acetone and ether were 113.20; 65.22 and 34.11 ppm respectively. β-carotene and chlorophyll α was identified and isolated. Those three extract contains flavonoid and sterol. It is concluded that crude pigment extract of Spirulina sp. has a high antioxidant activity as well as toxicity to the nauplii of Artemia sp. Abstract

Multiple decrement model in life insurance is a decrement model where the decrement of amount participants of insurance do not only because of just one cause of decrement but because of two or more causes of decrement, so that can provide various benefit in one policy of insurance program. In this paper, using two causes of decrement, that is disability and death. In construction of a multiple-decrement table, can be associated from the tables of single-decrement which have known. The number of premium payments for life insurance depends on what kind of insurance program that have been taken. Abstract

. Three species food chain models are model that express the interaction of three populations of prey, first predator and second predator populations. The models are derived from a combination of logistic growth model between prey population and predator population. Model that is used is a Holling type II functional response. The model consists of non linear differential equations with three dependent variables, there are  representing size of prey population at time ,  is size of  first predator population at time , and  is size of second predator population at time . From the result of stability analysis conducted on the food chain model of three species are found six equilibrium points based on the value eigen, and six cases of different stability.

Abstract

ABTRACT-- A  predator-prey model with logistic growth in the prey population is an iknteraction between  a  predator and  a  prey  population with logistic  growth  in the  prey  population. The  equations  in this model  are  non  linear dffirentiat  equation  with two dependent  variables.  In this  system,  H(t)  X size  of  prey population at time t  and P(t) is size  of  predator  population  at time t . Abstract

Abstract: Application of Model Cooperative Learning Index Card Match type in increasing student learning social studies class IV Glontor SDN Academic Year 2012/2013. This research is a classroom action research that aims to: describe the application of cooperative learning instructional model types Index Card Match, enhance social studies learning, and describe the challenges and solutions. The experiment was conducted in three cycles. The subjects were all class IV students at SDN Glontor which totaled 34. Source data comes from teachers and students. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The validity of the data using data triangulation technique. Data analysis with qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results show that the application of model Cooperative Learning Index Card Match types can improve learning Social Studies class IV students Glontor SDN Academic Year 20122/2013. Abstract

As guarantee in a life insurance is which caused by death. The death results loss of income of someone or the family. With the result that, a life insurance provides a payment of specified amount upon the death of a given life. There are two systems in this payment, that the insurance payable at the moment of death (continuing insurance) and the insurance payable at the end of the year of death (discrete insurance). If life table are uniformly distributed, so there is a relationship that an immediate payment is equivalent on the average to a payment of  at the end of the year of death.

Abstract

The objective of the study is intended to know how interaction in reading comprehension class of sixth semester of English Department of Muhammadiyah University of Purworejo in the academic year of 2012/2013. In this research, the researcher focused of interaction characteristic on teacher and students talk in classroom interaction and the activity going inside the classroom. The data of this study are the teacher’s talk and sixth-semester English students’ talk in reading comprehension course activity at Muhammadiyah University of Purworejo in the academic year of 2012/2013. The researcher uses only one class; class VI A which consist of 29 students. To analyze the data, researcher used an instrument, Flander interaction Analysis Categories (FIAC). The results of the analysis showed that the percentage of content cross’ characteristics was 37.19% of the whole class time; teacher control’s characteristic was 15.37%, whereas teacher support’s characteristic was 19.91%. Abstract

Businnes of production Rahayu is a tile-making business is kind of small press located in the Tabanan  Regency, Bali. In conducting the business of production Rahayu tiles using simple tools and production quantities depending on the season (dry season and rainy) so that profit is not the same in each season. To determine the performance of the tiles Enterprises Rahayu, the study will analyze the level of Break Even Point (the breakeven point),  Shut Down point (point-of-business), and the level of benefits to the individual - each season.  This research method to analyze the breakeven point, point-of-business, and business profitability Tile Rahayu mathematically using production data from 2010 to 2012. The results obtained are the BEP analysis, business break even lower during the rainy season than during the dry season. This is because the selling price higher during the rainy season than during the dry season.  Judging from the SDP analysis, point-of-business is much lower than the breakeven point in any season. This is due to fixed costs in cash on SDP analysis is much smaller than the total fixed cost of the BEP analysis. If the views of each season, the SDP during the rainy season is less than during the dry season due to monsoon selling price is higher than during the dry season. Judging from the level of profits, the two seasons (wet and dry) Tile Enterprises Rahayu produce nearly the same amount of profit, but profit is higher during the rainy season than during the dry season.  This is due to the selling price higher during the rainy season so that revenue also grew, as well as variable costs during the rainy season due to lower production numbers lower than the dry season, thereby reducing production costs.

Development of an entrepreneurial culture based on Islamic boarding school is an important part in the economic life of the people, especially in growing businesses of the neighborhood students, who have distinctive characteristics: honesty, risk-taking, hard-never give up, and independent.In order to optimize the development of the regional economy Jember, the development of an entrepreneurial culture to create a Sharia-based environmentalentrepreneurs from Boarding School in Jember more effective and relevant for the study, because the district. Jember city known as students save a lot of potential support for accelerated development of Sharia-compliant forward. Identifying the purpose of this study sharia-based entrepreneurial ability, the boarding school in Jember. Research utilizing primary and secondary data from the Department of Cooperatives and related agencies as well as the spread of structured questionnaires to the respondents. Determined that respondent knowingly 9 boarding schools that have received program package C/SMA equivalent and approved by the Office of Religious Affairs of data analysis using methods Turla and Hawkins.

Abstract

 Learning effect and deterioration do not fragmentary happen all the time. If both of them simultaneously found, the processing time of the job will increase yet decrease from the plan at once. The actual processing time of jobs are defined by function of their starting times and positions in the sequence. The effect of learning and deterioration on single machine scheduling at this paper is applied at a paper-mill. Learning effect as a result of regular performance-evaluation at this paper-mill reduce the effect of deterioration up to 206,5509 hours. Routing jobs by Earlier Due Date (EDD) rule construct the optimal result under maximum lateness case in this paper than either Most Urgent Job (MUJ) or Shortest Processing Time (SPT) do. The maximum lateness under EDD rule is 13,6% less than sequence that is recently used in that paper-mill.
