Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan jiwa kewirausahaanmahasiswa calon guru kimia dengan pembelajaran praktikum kimia dasar berorientasichemo-entrepreneurship (CEP). Ada 6 aspek yang diduga dapat mendukung peningkatanjiwa kewirausahaan mahasiswa yaitu kemampuan dalam berpikir/bertindak kreatif, kritis,kerjasama, kegigihan , kemandirian dan inisiatif. Alat evaluasi dalam penelitian inimeliputi kemampuan jiwa kewirausahaan calon guru kimia yang telah dikuasai denganmengacu indikator kemampuan kepemimpinan, kemandirian, kerja sama, kreativitas daninovasi dalam kegiatan praktikum. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi terhadap kemampuan jiwakewirausahaan, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa semua kelompok mahasiswa telah mempunyaijiwa kewirausahaan dengan kriteria sangat baik (SB) dalam berpikir/bertindak kreatif, kritis,kerjasama, kegigihan dan inisiatif. Sedangkan untuk kemandirian mempunyai tingkatpencapaian baik (B). Keberhasilan juga ditunjukkan oleh respon mahasiswa yang cenderungpositif. Untuk lebih mengoptimalkan upaya tersebut disarankan agar aspek-aspek yangdikembangkan juga harus didukung dengan sumber belajar yang memadai. Kata Kunci: chemo-entrepreneurship, jiwa kewirausahaan

Abstract

Katuk (Sauropus androgynus L Merr) is known to contain carotenoids, vitamin E, vitamin C, protein, and sterol compounds. This study was aimed to determine whether phytosterol in Sauropus androgynus (SA) leaf affected the reproductive system of female quails. One hundred and fifty female quails were raised from 2-27 weeks old and divided into three dietary treatment, with five replicates and 10 quails in each replicate. The treatment diets were: 1) control group: diet without katuk leaf meal; 2) diet with 9% SA ethanol extract (TEK); 3) Diet containing 9% SA meal (TDK). The TDK-fed quails laid their first eggs at 46 day of age, compared with the TEK (52 day) and the control groups (53 day). The highest fertility (94.55%) and hatchability (93.29%) were obtained from the TDK fed quails at the age of 23 and 24 weeks, respectively. These findings indicated that the reproductive system of female quails were improved not only by phytosterol in SA leaf, but also by the β-carotene, vitamin C, α-tocopherol in SA leaf. Abstract

Penelitian ini dirancang dengan desain Research and Development yang diadaptasi dari model pengembangan pengajaran Sugiyono yang termodifikasi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, keefektifan, dan tanggapan siswa dan guru terhadap modul larutan penyangga berorientasi chemoentrepreneurship (CEP) yang dikembangkan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Secara kuantitatif, data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan cara menghitung rerata skor dan menentukan kriteria pada interval kelas tertentu. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa modul memperoleh skor validasi sebesar 3,24 sehingga dinyatakan valid, modul dinyatakan efektif karena penumbuhan minat wirausaha siswa dalam kriteria tinggi dengan skor 3,07 dan peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa sebesar 0,65 dalam kriteria sedang. Selain itu, data angket menunjukkan bahwa modul dinyatakan mendapat respon baik dari penggunanya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul larutan penyangga berorientasi chemoentrepreneurship (CEP) dinyatakan valid, efektif, dan dapat diterima dengan baik oleh pengguna sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar siswa yang mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan menumbuhkan minat wirausaha siswa. This study was designed with a Research and Development, which was adapted from the model of development Sugiyono teaching has been modified. This study aims to determine the feasibility, effectiveness, and student and teacher responses to the buffer solution-oriented modules chemoentrepreneurship (CEP). Collecting data using interviews, observations, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative. In quantitative terms, the data were analyzed by calculating the mean scores and determining the criteria at intervals of a certain class. The analysis showed that the module validation scored 3.24 that is valid, the module is declared effective because of growing interest in entrepreneurial students in high criteria with a score of 3.07 and increase students understanding of concepts of 0.65 in the criteria. In addition, questionnaire data indicate that the module is declared received good response from the users. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that the buffer solution-oriented modules chemoentrepreneurship (CEP) is valid, effective, and well received by the user so that it can be used as a source of student learning that can improve understanding of concepts and foster interest in entrepreneurship students.

Abstract

The rapid development of informatics and computer technology (ICT) has an impact on the world of education today. On the other hand, changes in the educational paradigm that previously embraced teacher-centered learning became student-centered learning, bringing very significant changes to the developedment of learning methods at this time. This study aims to improve student chemistry learning outcomes through digital based learning. Digital technology has developed widely, but has not been utilized in learning. Based on preliminary observations in the Department of Chemistry at UNNES, lecturers have difficulty in creating a learning atmosphere centered on student activities, so that lecturers are still be the main source of learning. These problems have implications for the quality of learning in the Department of Chemistry, which so far has not used digital learning. This study is a qualitative descriptive study by applying digital based learning through three stages, namely planning, implementation, and reflection (see). At the planning stage, create a digital learning scenario. In the implementation phase, apply the scenario in the class. During learning, observations are carried out by the teaching team. The reflection phase is conducted to review the learning process with a focus on student activities and class participation. The results of this study prove that digital based learning is one option that can meet the need to improve the quality of learning chemistry at the UNNES. The effect of digital-based learning strategies on student learning outcomes is 52.8%

Abstract

This research aim to (1) describe the training model of chemical learning design based on life skill and CEP; (2) know the effectiveness of training model of chemistry learning design based on life skill and CEP. This research use Research and Development (R&D) approach with stages of (1) conduct a preliminary study; (2) design a training model; (3) model validation; (4) testing the model; and (5) describing the final model. Subject of this research were high school chemistry teacher as many as 30 peoples used as a test model of training. Measurement of effectiveness include the variables; (1) ability of the participants in designing learning before and after training; (2) ability to apply chemical learning based on life skill and CEP for trained teachers; (3) participants’ responses to the implementation of training and skills of trainers. Effectiveness criteria determined by constructing a scale of effectiveness based on the average results of measurements of variables. Data collection techniques using surveys, interviews, and documentation. Instruments used were in the form of questionnaires, observation sheets, interview guidelines, and the researcher’s own instrument. The results can be concluded that the training model of chemical learning design based on life skill and CEP effective to improve the quality of teachers in implementing the chemical learning. Recommended for training providers team that the training model of chemical learning design based on life skill and CEP to be developed within a wider scale.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran guided discovery  melalui kegiatan praktikum terhadap hasil belajar kimia. Desain yang digunakan adalah postest-only control group design. Pada kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran guided discovery  melalui kegiatan praktikum dan kelompok kontrol menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi melalui kegiatan praktikum. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, angket, dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan statistik parametrik, karena data berdistribusi normal. Uji t digunakan untuk menentukan perbedaan rata-rata data hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar aspek kognitif kelompok eksperimen memiliki rata-rata 83,20 dan kelompok kontrol memiliki rata-rata 75,52. Pada uji pengaruh antar variabel diperoleh harga rb sebesar 0,57 maka penerapan model pembelajaran guided discovery melalui kegiatan praktikum mempunyai pengaruh sedang terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Besarnya pengaruh model pembelajaran tersebut terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa adalah 32,85%. Analisis deskriptif untuk data hasil belajar afektif dan psikomotorik menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar aspek afektif kelompok eksperimen memiliki rata-rata 3,16 dan kelompok kontrol memiliki rata-rata 3,02, sedangkan hasil belajar aspek psikomotorik kelompok eksperimen memiliki rata-rata 3,22 dan kelompok kontrol memiliki rata-rata 3,09. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode guided discovery melalui kegiatan praktikum berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar baik aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik siswa pada materi stoikiometri larutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media Flash berbasis guided discovery yang layak, efektif dan mendapat respon positif dari siswa maupun guru. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yakni Define, Design, and Develop. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, dokumentasi, observasi, tes dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa media Flash berbasis guided discovery layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Media Flash berbasis guided discovery dinyatakan efektif karena 75% siswa dari subjek penelitian mencapai nilai KKM pada hasil tes dan aspek afektif dan psikomotorik mendapat predikat baik. Selain itu, data angket menunjukkan bahwa media Flash berbasis guided discovery dinyatakan mendapat respon baik dari siswa dan guru. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Flash berbasis guided discovery untuk hasil belajar siswa dinyatakan layak, efektif, dan mendapat respon positif dari siswa dan guru sehingga dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran kimia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa dan mengetahui adanya perbedaan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen materi larutan penyangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dengan metode Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 2 – XI IPA 5. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dan diperoleh kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi, dokumentasi, tes, dan angket. Hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata nilai post test kelas eksperimen 76,214 dan kelas kontrol 69,434. Hasil uji t pada nilai post test diperoleh harga thitung (2,415) > ttabel (1,665) dengan derajat kebebasan = 78 dan taraf signifikansi 5%, yang berarti ada perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif kelas eksperimen dengan kontrol. Uji korelasi biserial diperoleh rb sebesar 0,6557, sehingga didapatkan thitung (7,6696) > ttabel (1,665) dengan koefisien determinasinya = 42,99%. Uji N-gain yang dihasilkan sebesar 0,5162 pada kelas eksperimen dan 0,373 pada kelas kontrol. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode praktikum berbasis IBL memberi pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pembelajaran dan ada perbedaan keterampilan proses sains siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.
