Abstract

One of an fishery commodity in Ujung Pangkah is flatfish ( Cynoglossus lingua). This study was conducted in Ujung Pangkah waters, Gresik, East Java using fish samples (N=94 males, N=108 females) collected during August 2005 to January 2006. The Study aimed to investigate food habits of the flat fish caught in the area. Research result shows that shrimps was a main food, while crab and Bivalva were complementary food both for male and female fish. Based on index of stomach contents, the index was higher during September for male, and August for female fish. Kinds and percentage of stomach contents varied according to size both for male and female. Therefore, the main food of the male and female fish was simmilar (e.g. shrimps) According to simmilariy index, food habit of the male and female fish is simmilar.Keywords: Flatfish ( Cynoglossus lingua), Ujung Pangkah, Gresik, food habits.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Respon perkecambahan yang berbeda pada tiap tanaman pangan merupakan fase krusial tanaman dalam merespon kondisi margin lingkungannya, termasuk kondisi berkadar garam. Kajian untuk mengetahui respon Solanum melongena pada fase perkecambahan terhadap paparan NaCl telah dilakukan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Botani, Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri, Februari-Maret 2012, dengan desain RAL.  Paparan NaCl diberikan pada konsentrasi 0% (kontrol), 5%, 10%, 15%, dan 20% dan data diambil pada 13 hst secara destruktif untuk diamati dan dianalisis dengan Anova One Way dilanjutkan uji Duncan 5%. Biji koleksi ditanam pada media liat berpasir steril dan disiram tiap 2 hari sekali (50 mL/ pot), pada suhu 27-28OC, 4000-6000 lux, v-angin 0-1 m/s. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kecepatan perkecambahan tertinggi pada perlakuan % dan terendah pada 20%; (2) semua perlakuan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap panjang hipokotil, akar primer, dan biomassa kecambah; (3) rata-rata kecepatan pertumbuhan kecambah optimal pada perlakuan 5%; (4) tipe perkecambahan epigeal; (5) testa terangkat jelas dari media pada umur 3-5 hst; (6) warna kotiledon hijau dan hipokotil putih terang pada umur 13 hst pada semua perlakuan; (7) arah tumbuh erectus, tegar, kotiledon terbuka sempurna dan opposita.   Kata kunci: Solanum melongena, perkecambahan, NaCl.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Perkembangan buah kacang tanah hanya terjadi di dalam tanah. Organ yang membawa buah masuk ke dalam tanah adalah ginofor yang terbentuk setelah fertilisasi terjadi. Apabila buah tidak masuk ke dalam tanah maka, embrio, biji dan buah kacang tanah tidak dapat berkembang. Setiap tahap dari perkembangan tumbuhan dipengaruhi oleh protein spesifik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil protein pada setiap tahap perkembangan buah kacang tanah. Analisis profil protein dilakukan pada beberapa tahap perkembangan buah yaitu pada umur 0, 4, 6, 15, 18 dan 23 hari setelah anthesis (hsa), baik pada buah yang berkembang (masuk ke dalam tanah) maupun tidak berkembang (tidak masuk ke dalam tanah), serta akar, batang dan daun menggunakan   metode SDS-PAGE (sodium dodecyl sulphate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis).  Profil protein pada buah berbeda dengan profil protein pada akar, batang dan daun. Protein dengan berat molekul 124 kDa kemungkinan berperan dalam mengontrol perkembangan buah kacang tanah.   Kata kunci: Arachis hypogaea, profil protein, perkembangan buah

Abstract

Moustached thryssa is one of an important fishery commodity in ujung pangkah waters. The study aimed toinvestigate food habits of the fish caught in the area. This study was conducted in ujung pangkah waters, gresik,east java using fish samples (n=76 males, n=119 females) collected during january to june 2006. Research resultshows that shrimps was a main food, bivalva and parts of crustacean were complementary food, while copepodsand pollychaeta were suplementary food both for male and female fish. Based on index of stomach contents, theindex was higher during january and april for male and female fish. Percentage of food of the fish variedaccording to size. Abstract

Promotion strategy is one part of marketing strategies employed to maintain the product on the market. Promotion strategy aims to provide information to consumers about the products on offer, as a tool to persuade consumers to choose goods that we offer a purchase option at this time, In addition promotion is also useful as a reminder or to remind consumers about the product availability and usefulness of such products and to shape consumer perceptions of a particular product. Our purpose is to investigate how the promotion strategy conducted in the tea beverage franchise businesses to develop their products on the market. Considering the enormous competition in the same segment in running this business in need of proper promotion strategy to introduce our products and give consumers a brand in memory. The results showed that the franchise business Your Tea tea has a good promotion strategy so that products can survive in the market. Franchise Your Tea drinks using promotional strategies either directly or indirectly. Promotion strategies that do business owners this is done directly by seminars and become self-employed speaker events. And to indirectly take advantage of promotional print media and website advertising is promotion in the Warta Kota newspaper, magazine Business Opportunity, distribution of brochures and a website at www.yourtea.biz Evaluation results of this study indicate that the selection of proper promotion can make the products that we offer both attention and response from the public and can form an image which became purchase options.

Abstract

Small and medium Enterprisis (SMEs) have significant role in national economic development. The problems of this research are (1) marketing strategies which has been impemented by sandal shoes craftman in Ciomas Bogor, (2) strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by sandal shoes craftman in Ciomas Bogor, (3) what’s the next marketing strategy which is be able to make sandal shoes selling increases. The results of this research are (1) The internal factors: strength quadrant embraces qualified product, competitive price, and unique sandal shoes; weaknesses quadrant encompasses unmanaged financial management, uneffective raw inventary management, supervision of production process and its quality is not good enough, the place to work is not comfortable enough, minimum technology, and the production cost calculation isn’t accurate; (2) The external factors: opportunity quadrant embraces the availability of human resources, public knows the products, the location is near to the supplier, conducting centralized marketing system, the sales can be run in marketable place with a lot of relationships. The development strategies which can be done are increasing sandal shoes models, optimizing marketing channels or networks, expanding marketing relationship networks, using website or email as means of promotin and marketing (developing E-Commerce), allocating funds for production technology, cooperating with the others to provide raw materials and working capital, and working together to build collective power that’s able to eliminate the weaknesses.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan metode ceramah dan praktikum pada materi gaya kelas IV SDN 1 Sebalor Kec. Bandung Kab.Tulungagung.Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas IV A  berjumlah18 siswa diajar dengan metode ceramah, dan kelas IV B berjumlah 15 siswa diajar dengan metode praktikum.Parameter yang diukur adalah hasil belajar kognitif yang  didasarkan pada  skor hasil evaluasi setelah pembelajaran  satu kompetensi dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan,  bahwa rata-rata dan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan metode praktikum  adalah  84,533dan  93%  lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan yang diajar menggunakan metode ceramah  sebesar 70,833 dan 72% .  Kata kunci: metode praktikum, metode ceramah dan hasil belajar.
