Abstract

One of the pillars of Islam establishment is implementation of Zakat encashment. Zakatbecome one of the five pillars of Islam which one and others work in synergy. How important zakatis, Allah refers to people who are not fulfilled it as religion liars (Surah al-Maun). The importance ofthe  Zakat  can  be  seen  from  the  mission  of  Islamic  sharia  as  the  teaching  that  committed  toimplement physical and spiritual welfare, spiritual material. Zakat become instruments tend to thewelfare of the people. In Indonesia, it has entered the consciousness of the state. This was evidencedby the publication of two laws on zakat, Law No. 38 of 1999 and Law No. 23 of 2011 on Zakat. Thispaper explores the management of zakat as a part of the responsibility of the state, in addition tomanagement and ethical management.

Abstract

There is no doubt that the problem of environment has become the most formidable issue faced by human being in the modern history. The danger imposed by the environmental crisis is much greater than the danger of any forms of war. This crisis has thus become the greatest enemy of humanity. The level and extent of the danger requires equally a great effort to address and tackle it. It is here that this paper tries to contribute. It attempts to offer an Islamic perspective of environment and its conservation. The paper is convinced that Islam is rich with perspectives on this issue. It therefore, introduces the many theories and views on environment that the sciences of Islam have spoken about. It brings into discussion the view of the science of theology (kalam), jurisprudence (fiqh) and sufism  (tasawuf) on environment. Each of these sciences is discussed in relation to the others, as well as in the context of what the paper calls fiqh lingkungan (the jurisprudence of environment). The idea that underlines the paper is thatthese sciences are—generally speaking—concerned with the idea of personal and collective responsibility; an idea that already has a direct relevance to the problem of environment.

4T Zikr in Anxiety Reduction in Acute Coronary Syndrome Patients

Abstract

Anxiety is a psychological problem that often arises in heart disease, especially in patients with acute coronary syndromes. Anxiety could prolong the healing process of ACS and increase the cost of care and treatment. Purpose of the study was to evaluaste the effect of 4T Zikr on anxiety in patients with ACS in the CICU. This research was a quasi-experimental two group pre post design. 64 subjects were recruited by purposive sampling; 28 subjects in intervention group and 28 subjects in control group. Anxiety was measured by NRS 0-10. 4T zikr composes of subhanallah, alhamdulillah, allahuakbar and laailahaillah with intensity 60 dB, beat rate 60-80 mm, pitch 220-800 Hz, volume 4-5 for 30 minutes. The results show that 4T zikr could reduce anxiety at 12 hours, 24 hours, 36 hours, 48 hours, 60 hours, and 72 hours in patients with ACS (p<0,05). There were significant differences in anxiety reduction at 24 hours (p<0,001) and 72 hours (p<0,001) between group after 4T zikkr in patients with ACS. In conclusion, 4T zikr can reduce anxiety within 72 hours after admission in patients with ACS.

Abstract

Cassava starch based bioplasticfor packaging application has great potency because of the various starch-producing plants in Indonesia.Bioplasticcan contribute to reduce the dependence on fossil fuels andpetroleumthat can solve the environmentalproblem.Thepurpose of this research is to find out the thermal decomposition and the activation energy of cassava starch based bioplastic. The methods weresynthesis bioplastic with cassava starch as main component and glycerol as plasticizer. The thermogravimetry analysis was conducted to obtain the decomposition process mechanism of bioplastic and the heating valueof bioplasticwas measured  using theadiabatic bomb calorimetric.  Data analysis was conducted using  a fitting model approach with an acikalin method to determine the activation energy. The result of thethermogravimetricanalysis showed thatbioplasticisgraduallydecomposedto the moisture, volatilematter, fixed carbon, andash in four stages mechanism. Totally decomposition of bioplastic was 530°C, then all of bioplastic was become the ash. The activation energy in the early and primary thermal decomposition stages are 1.27 kJ/moland 22.62 kJ/mol, respectively and heating valueof bioplastic is 15.16 MJ/kg.

Abstract

FIQH TEXTS BANJARESE ULAMA CONTNUITY AND DEVELOPMENT STUDY OF FIQH ECOLOGY: Fiqh texts play an important role in the Muslim community throughout the ages. Fiqh texts become the code of conduct for Muslim to make their deeds valid and in accordance with the teachings  of Islam. Fiqh texts as intellectual  products have an important role to determine the level of creation and as means to observe the progress of the intellect of a Muslim community. In addition, fiqh texts produced can  be  a  hint  towards  a  particular  school  of  thought  and  as critical study materials to perform continuity and development of intellectual  work. Banjarese Ulama (from Banjarese ethnic)  are known by their religiosity. The work in the field of jurisprudence was  also  born from  them  since  Sabilal  Muhtadin  in  the  18th century  until Mabadi Ilmu ‘Fiqh of the 20th century.  However, the continuity  of the  intellectual work that  appreciates  for the environment, especially on water ecology, which characterizes the ecology of Banjar, is inadequate. This shows the “unthinkable” in an intellectual  creation, as described in the results of this study.

Abstract

AbstrakLuka kaki diabetik (LKD) merupakan salah satu komplikasi pasien Diabetes Mellitus. LKD yang lama sembuh salah satu penghambatnya ialah menurunnya sirkulasi pada kaki. Electrical muscular stimulation (ENIS) merupakan salah satu terapi tanibahan yang dapx diaplikasi pada Iuka. Tujuan dalam studi ini ialah untuk tnengetahui peran EMS terhadap penyembuhan Iuka kaki diabetik.Artikel dikumpulkan melalui database elektronik CINAHL, Proquest. Google Scholar, ScienceDirect dan menggunakan kata kunci luka kaki diabetik electrical muscular stimulation, dan penyembuhan luka. Kriteria inklusi adalah studi untuk jurnal yang diterbitkan pada periode antara tahun 2000-2014.Hasil dari studi ini menunjukan bahwa EMS dapat digunakan sebagai terapi tambahan pada luka kaki diabetes untuk meningkatkan sikulasi darah pada ekstremitas bawah. EMS merupakan terapi tambahan yang dapat diaplikasikan pada luka kaki diabetes dengan meningkatkan sikulasi dan mempercepat penyembuhan luka.Kata-kata Kunci: Electrical muscular stimulation (EMS), Luka kaki diabetes, Nitrit oxide (NO), Penyembuhan luka, dan sirkulasiAbstractDiabetic foot ulcers (DFU) is one of the complications in patient with diabetes mellitus. The decressed blood flow has a role in the chronicity of diabetic foot ulcers. Electrical muscular stimulation (EMS) is one of the adjunct therapy that can be applied to the wound. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of EMS on the healing of diabetic foot ulcer. This article collected through electronic databases CINAHL, Proquest, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect and use keywords diabetic foot ulcer, muscular electrical stimulation, and wound healing. Inclusion criteria were studies to journals published in the period between the years 2000-2014. The results of this study showed that the EMS can be used as an adjunctive therapy in diabetic foot wounds to increase the reduction of circulating blood in the lower extremities. EMS is an adjunctive therapy that can be applied to diabetic foot ulcer with increasing reduction of circulating and accelerate wound healing. Abstract

Jatropha oil has characteristics very close to the diesel fuel, so it has good prospects as a substitute or as a mixture of diesel fuel. Previous research showed that jatropha oil usage in diesel engines caused power to decrease. It was probably owing to the higher viscosity of the Jatropha oil compared to that of diesel oil. Installing the magnetic field in the fuel line of a diesel engine fueled with jatropha-diesel oil is expected to reduce the viscosity of jatropha-diesel oil mixture, hence improve the combustion reaction process. This research aims to know the influence of the magnetic field strength in the fuel lines to the power of diesel engines fueled with a mixture of jatropha-diesel oil. The composition of Jatropha oil-diesel was 20% jatropha oil and 80% diesel oil. Magnetic field variations were 0.122, 0.245 and 0.368 Tesla. The results showed that the higher the strength of the magnetic field was, the higher the average diesel engine’s power would be.

Abstract

Aeromonas hydrophila mampu menyebabkan terjadinya infeksi dan kematian ikan botia dalam waktu yang relatif singkat pada konsentrasi yang tinggi, terbukti dengan konsentrasi 108 selml-1 menyebabkan 50% ikan uji mati. Hasil pengamatan histopatologi pada ikan terinfeksi menunjukkan ginjal yang mengalami degenerasi hyaline, munculnyavakuola yang disebabkan lisis pada glomerulus dan kemudian hancur, nekrosis pada glomerulus, terdapat banyak koloni bakteri A.hydrophila didalam ginjal, serta terjadi infiltrasi limfosit. Sel hati tidak terlihat jelas karena tertutup infiltrasi limfosit dan koloni bakteri A.hydrophila yang sangat banyak, nekrosis yang menyebabkan vakuola, terdapat infeksi sekunder bakteri yang belum teridentifikasi, serta terjadi cloudy swelling. Pada bagian insang, nekrosis lamela primer menyebabkan munculnya vakuola, kongesti pada lamela primer dan edema pada lamela sekunder, infiltrasi limfosit, poliferasi sel/fusi lamela serta hyperplasia pada lamela primer. Sementara itu pada ikan botia yang terinfeksi A.hydrophilatetapi kemudian diobati, ginjal mengalami perbaikan glomerulus dan kapsula bowman sehingga terlihat jelas, tubuli berbentuk seperti donat dengan corak titik dan garis, tidak ada lagi nekrosis dan vakuola, tidak ditemukan lagi koloni bakteri, terjadi perbaikan hyaline yang mengalami degenerasi, jaringan hematopoietic (pembentuk sel-seldarah merah) terlihat jelas dengan inti yang bulat. Pada bagian hati, tidak ditemukan lagi koloni bakteri A.hidrophila dan bakteri sekunder lainnya sehingga hepatosit terlihat jelas dengan bentuk polyhedral dengan inti 1-2, jumlah eritrosit terlihat normal, karena tidak ada lagi infiltrasi limfosit. Akan tetapi masih terdapat penyumbatan pada vena centralis yang dipenuhi oleh eritrosit. Pada insang tidak ada lagi nekrosis dan vakuola pada lamela primer sehingga jaringan terlihat solid, namun ditemukan infeksi sekunder parasit Monogenea sp. Tidak ada lagi infiltrasi limfosit, lapisan epithelium terlihat 1-2 lapis, tidak ada lagi edema dan fusi lamela sehingga lamela tampak jelas dengan ukuran panjang yang bervariasi.Kata Kunci : histopatologi, Aeromonas hydrophila, Ikan Botia

Effect of MnFe2O4 Nanoparticles to Reduce CO and HC Levels on Vehicle Exhaust Gas Emissions

Abstract

The air pollution particle emitted from transportation in Indonesia Bay 2015 consist of 70.50% CO; 18.34% HC; 8.89% NOx; 0.88% SOx; 1.33%. These gases are very harmful to humans. To reduce the toxic gas effect, special treatment is needed, one of them is by applying catalyst on exhaust system. MnFe2O4 has the potential to bind the CO and HC elements contained in the exhaust gas. This study aims to investigate the effect of MnFe2O4 addition on catalityc converter towards CO gas and HC emissions of motor vehicles. Therefore, the percentage of exhaust reduction with and without applying MnFe2O4 on varied engine rotation using fuel with RON of 88, 90, 92 and 98 can be revealed. The results describe that the highest reduction precentage of CO content by applying MnFe2O4 nanoparticles as a catalyst for premium, pertalite and pertamax fuel are 34.1% (effective at low and high rotation); 31.1% (effective at all rotations); and 3.9% (effective at low rotation). On the other hand, the highest reduction percentage of HC content on premium, pertalite, pertamax and pertamax turbo fuel are 79.3% (effective in high rotation); 71.4% (effective at high rotation); 53,6% (effective in high rotation); and 2.1% (only effective at low rotation).
