Abstract

Mount Leuser National Park (TN G. LEUSER-TNGL) is the oldest and the widest national park in Indonesia. Nowadays, many problems such as illegal logging, land enrichment by Aceh’s conflict refugees, have deteriorated most conservation areas significantly. Social problems were identified as the impacts that need to be specifically handled. Therefore, it is a need for TNGL office as the manager of the site to re- plans its previous policies and programs which have been inapplicable for present condition. One of the programs planned by TNGL was to establish a mechanism where the resorts become a basis for future development of TNGL. This was because the resorts had an important in communicating problems occurred in the field due to its closeness to the area of problems. Cinta Raja Resort is one of the resorts found in TNGL that needs to be reviewed related with its problem complexities that could represent the situation of TNGL Key words : Resort, Cinta Raja, TNGL, Empowerment, Supporting Capacity

Abstract

Abstrak : Salah satu materi yang diajarkan pada mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris di kelas VIII semester genap adalah Public Places and Sports diperlukan suatu media yang memungkinkan siswa dapat menggunakan alat indera secara optimal. Untuk itulah perlu dirancang sebuah media yang dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut. Selain itu agar materi yang disampaikan melalui multimedia tidak bersifat parsial, maka multimedia yang dikembangkan harus menimbulkan perubahan kognisi, afeksi dan psikomotor siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model konstruktivistik melalui multi media pembelajaran bahasa Inggris khususnya Public Places and Sports di kelas VIII SMP semester genap dalam bentuk CD pembelajaran, dan media yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemerolehan empat keterampilan bahasa Inggris di sekolah. Media ini dirancang untuk pembelajaran mandiri. Hasil ujicoba media kepada siswa akan  mempunyai efek yang potensial, yaitu siswa suka belajar dengan multimedia, siswa aktif mengikuti pelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran. Model Konstruktivistik melalui multimedia dalam pembelajaran membantu siswa untuk memperoleh keterampilan berbahasa Inggris dan mempraktekannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.   Kata Kunci : Model Konstruktivistik, Membangun , Multimedia, Pembelajaran, Konsep-konsep belajar  bahasa Inggris.   Abstract : One of the material which taught in English  especially on grade eight in even  semester is about public places and sports so that, in learning and teaching process is needed a media as a tool to stimulate students’ five senses hopely they can use it optimally. For that case it is necessary to design a media and  how to solve the problem faced by the students. Beside the material can be delivered impartially, multimedia is also developed to affect the students’  cognitive,  affective  and phsycomotor  changing. The purpose of this research is how to develop constructive model in English lesson especially when the  topics  are public places and sports in grade eight in even semester in form of CD interactive learning, and hope  the media which is developed can increase the four language skills achievement in school. This media is also designed for independent learners. The result of trial media to the student will affect potentially to the students that they like studying English by using  multimedia as a learning media. Using multimedia in learning is helping student to stimulate  the four  language skills and easy to practice it in their daily life.   Key words : Constructive Models, Developing, Multimedia,  Concepts, Instructional and Learning English.
