Activity of Ligninolytic Enzymes during Growth and Fruiting Body Development of White Rot Fungi Omphalina sp. and Pleurotus ostreatus

The activity of ligninolytic enzymes of white rot fungi (WRF) Omphalina sp. and Pleurotus ostreatus was observed during somatic and fruiting body development in solid substrate fermentation using empty fruit bunches of oil palm (EFB). The enzyme activity was dominated by laccase both of Omphalina sp. and P. ostreatus. The laccase activity on somatic phase (mycelium growth) was higher compared to that of fruiting body formation phase. The laccase activity of Omphalina sp. was slightly higher compared to that of P. ostreatus. The peak activity of manganese peroxidase (MnP) for Omphalina sp. was observed two weeks after inoculation, while P. ostreatus had two peaks i.e. two and four weeks after inoculation period. The MnP activity of P. ostreatus was higher compared to that of Omphalina sp. Omphalina sp. growth in EFB did not secrete lignin peroxidase (LiP) in contrast to P. ostreatus. The peak of LiP activity of P. ostreatus was reached two and four weeks after inoculation. The MnP and LiP activities declined during the development of fruiting bodies while laccase increased both in Omphalina sp. and P. ostreatus. It seems that the activities of ligninolytic enzyme profile were regulated in line with developmental phase of growth both in Omphalina sp. and P. ostreatus. The need for water supply always increases with population growth and development of the region, demandingPDAM Semarang able to provide a better service to their communities.The issue of high rate of leak, the high discharge capacity untapped and range of services is still very low whichis a major problem for the Semarang District PDAM water supply for the City of Ungaran. Similarly on thequestion of the level of customer satisfaction and service performance should be analyzed so that companies canknow the goals and strategies in improving water services to the community.Customer satisfaction to water supply services, measured in terms of customer perception in the use of watersupply. The analysis showed that customer satisfaction in the category of high levels of satisfaction are stronglyinfluenced by water pressure, adequacy of water use, quality of complaints handling and accuracy of watermeter readings.The results of the performance assessment of water services which refers to two normative rules, namely No.47of 1999 Kepmendagri obtain the final value of 58.16 is included in the category of adequate and appropriatecriteria BPPSPAM obtain the final value of 2.055 is included in the healthy category.From the results of the performance analisia taps and customer satisfaction level analysis shows that there aresome indicators of corporate performance and customer satisfaction needs to be improved and enhanced.

The availability of historical data used in hydrological analysis is often incomplete and very short, so the information obtained from the data is also very little. If continue to use incomplete historical data or a little period of time, the analysis results will not match the circumstances in the field. Hydrology analysis in planning of Embung Suruhan uses rainfall data from Jiken Station, Blora Station and Bogorejo Station from 1986-2006 and climatology data of Tempuran Reservoir Station 1986-2005 with 4.6 million m3. The next study, capacity 6.69 million m3 with rainfall data from five stations, namely: Blora station, Jiken, Gayam, Greneng, and Tempuran from 1997-2012 and climatological data of Tempuran Reservoir and Kedung Ombo Reservoir. This research is to get the requirement of optimal irrigation with forecasting of discharge data and simulation of initial variation of planting and some scenario type of planting pattern from Embung Suruhan. Discharge was analyzed by Mock method and then raised up to 25 years with Thomas Fiering model and to get the water availability used Basic Year. The discharge data has characteristics that are close to historical data and in 2018 as the basic year used for water availability.

Kajian Panjang Data Historis yang Representatif pada Model Stokastik

Stochastic models are models to generate new data series based on historical data and have similar statistical parameter with statistic historical data. Methods of forecasting are developed base on statistic and mathematic science. The historical data are observed data or sample data. The limited data is become main constrain for extrapolation of data. The mean error of generated data should be lower than 5%, its mean data of generated have the validation rate on 95 %. Three samples location for study are Catchment of Bengawan Solo in Bojonegoro, Catchment of Serang in Kedungombo - Grobogan and Catchment of Citarum in Cirata - Bandung. The synthetic data and then is used to calculate the statistic parameter. Error of generated data is measured with relative error. The relative error is result of divided and subtract statistic parameter of generated data and the statistic parameter of historical data longest and statistic parameter of generated data. The result of data length analysis is relative error and historical length of the data. Execution of conctruction project executed to pass selected project management system from planning phase until operation phase. Unfavorable scheduling system can cause the project to be inefficient. Execution of a construction project often needs to accelerate the duration of the project. Every effort to expedite the implementation of the project in general will result in increased project costs. This provides the necessary conditions so that the business dilemma that the project can be completed with optimum cost and time. The intention and purpose of this research is to accelerate the execution time by using the method of CPM overtime, so we get the optimal time and cost. This research method by forming a linear equation of the trajectory of the crisis and then analyzed by linier program LINDO. The results on the building construction projects the PKM Universitas Diponegoro obtained optimum time of 133 days with a total cost of                Rp. 6,252,074,822,-

Pengoperasian Waduk dalam Rangka Penanganan Bahaya Kekeringan dan Banjir

This paper present the use of stored water in reservoir more optimally by developing operation policy which is able to anticipate the dry and wet (flood) conditions. The reservoir operation  policy which is able to anticipate those conditions will result in more efficient use of water throughout the whole year season, i.e., minimising spillage during wet (flood) season and yet conserving water during dry season. When the dry season is incoming, the operation policy will direct to release less water than during the normal condition, thus conserving water. When the wet (flood) season is coming, the operation policy will direct to release more water to give attenuation volume in the reservoir such that during the rainstorm it can store the excess weter. The operation policy which has capability to anticipate the incoming condition is developed by employing Stochastic Dynamic Progamming (SDP) imbedded with fuzzy infrencing technique. The performance of the generated operating policy from SDP is evaluated by simulating the reservoir operation inplementing the generated operation policy under three conditions, i.e., normal, dry and wet (flood) conditions. Abstract: This research aimed to know: (1) which of the NHT modified model, the NHT model or the direct learning model promoted the students? better achievement on mathematics, (2) which one is better, the students with visual learning style, auditorial learning style, or kinesthetics learning style, and (3) in various learning style, which one having better achievement on mathematic, the NHT modified model, the NHT model or the direct learning model. This research was a quasi-experiments research with factorial design 3x3. The population of this research was the eight grade students of State Junior High Schools in Ponorogo. The sample was taken by the use of stratified cluster random sampling technique. The data collecting made use the documentation, questionnaire, and test methods. The documentation method was used to collect the data of the second-semester students? achievement on mathematics in the academic year 2011/2012 as found in their report books. This finding was further applied to check the balance of the students of the two exsperiment classrooms and one control classroom. The questionnaire was used to find the type of learning style mostly owned by the students. Whiles, the test was used to determine the students? achievement on mathematics in the straight line equation topic. Examination of hypothesis used an unbalanced two way analysis of variances at significance levels 5%. The results of the research was as follows: (1) the students? achievement on mathematics due to NHT modified model was equally due to NHT model, while the two models above was better than due to direct learning model, (2) there was no distinction among visual learning style, auditorial learning style, and kinesthetics learning style based on the students? achievement on mathematics, and (3) in various of learning style, the students? achievement on mathematics due to NHT?s modification model was equally due to NHT model, while the two models above was better than due to direct learning model.Keywords: the NHT Modified, the Direct Learning Model, the Learning Style

Tegangan lewat denyar ( flashover ) adalah  fenomena pelepasan muatan  bersifat merusak yang melintasi  seluruh bagian permukaan isolator. Pelepasan muatan ini disebabkan pembebanan medan listrik pada permukaan isolator yang melebihi harga ketahanan elektriknya. Penyebab terjadinya tegangan lewat denyar adalah pengotoran permukaan isolator, hujan asam, surja hubung dan surja petir. Tegangan  lewat denyar atau flashover ini berupa loncatan api yang terjadi antara isolator atau komponen listrik tegangan tinggi. Hal ini dapat terjadi akibat gagalnya isolasi  sistem tegangan tinggi tersebut. Salah satu penyebab kegagalan isolasi pada isolator tegangan tinggi di Gardu induk Tanjung Jati B Jepara adalah  timbulnya hujan asam akibat kondensasi asap yang keluar dari cerobong  PLTU Tanjung Jati B.  Hujan asam timbul karena kegagalan peralatan Flue Gas Desulphur (FGD) yang dipasang di PLTU untuk mengurangi gas emisi sebagai persyaratan pembangkit listrik ramah lingkungan yang diprogramkan pemerintah melalui Kementerian  Lingkungan Hidup. Tindakan nyata ini dilakukan untuk menepis anggapan bahwa PLTU dengan bahan bakar batubara merupakan salah satu industri yang mengeluarkan gas  emisi SOx dan NOx yang tinggi pada proses operasionalnya. Efek gas emisi ini merupakan salah satu  penyebab terjadinya hujan asam pada lingkungan.  Banyaknya  kadar keasaman hujan asam yang terjadi di daerah industri akan selalu berpengaruh terhadap jaringan listrik tegangan tinggi yang sedang beroperasi menyalurkan daya listrik.  Adakalanya fungsi  peralatan tegangan tinggi seperti isolator di gardu induk yang menyalurkan daya listrik pada jaringan SUTET 500 kV pada jaringan JAMALI di Pulau Jawa terganggu dalam sistim operasinya karena polutan yang menempel di isolator. Hujan dengan pH antara 4 – 5 dikategorikan sebagai hujan asam dan pada pengujian ini mempengaruhi penurunan tegangan saat terjadinya  flashover sebesar  145,5 kV – 142,5 kV  dari tegangan kerja, hal ini  menyebabkan isolator sebagai bahan isolasi dapat diperkecil jarak rayap permukaan isolatornya sehingga dapat berpengaruh terhadap ketahanan suatu isolator dalam menjalankan fungsinya sebagai alat untuk menahan terjadinya kegagalan tegangan lewat denyar ( Flashover ) dari bagian-bagian yang bertegangan.

Banger river polder system which has 524 ha area is a part of Semarang Centre region drainage system. Banger river polder system is located in East Semarang region and North Semarang region. It is a crowded area with many problems. This area which has low level at soil supporting capacity is flooded by rob almost everytime. So it causes land subsidence every year. On the other hand, land use is another serious problem there with many houses cover the area without proper access road. Construction method evaluation of procurement and pump installation and retention pond and closer dike construction in Banger river polder system need to adapt more further with the real condition on site. Procurement and pump installation works will not be affected significantly by Banger river polder system site location. So that, in retension pond and closer dike works need a construction method which uses dewatering work, temporary dike construction, and determining the hauling route. These works combination produce an effective construction method, construction method using dewatering and bailey bridge. This construction method is a combination between dewatering work and the use of bailey bridge which is based on workability, reducing cycle time, and the economical one. This combination is the most effective, based on work influence indicators which reach 27,05%

This final project consists of redesign of Berdikari-Kali Garang Bridge by using Prestressed Box Girder Concrete. The construction method that is used in this project is segmental box girder. And for the prestressed system, the type of cantilever is based on the consideration of the length of this bridge which has 240 meters length, and is devided into 3 quarters, which are : 60 m + 120 m + 60 m. The design of this bridge begins with the explaination of the background for the choice of the bridge type, the purpose for this study is followed with the fundamental of design, which is analyzed is based on the BMS ’92. from the original data, the preliminary design is done by determining the main dimension of the bridge. In the initial phase, the design of load analyzed are used. Load analyze are self weight, dead load, additional weight, traffic load, and time analyze because of creep, and loss of prestressed. From the analyze, than did the allowable stress control. After, did the box reinforcement calculation, allowable deflection, shear calculation, strength and stability calculation which are crack moment control, limit moment, divided force, and torque. At the end of design stage is did the support design. Upon completion stage box, then do the structural design under the initial step to determine cross-sectional dimensions of the pillars and abutments plan which will be calculated ultimate load that will be used to analyze the strength of pillars and abutments. Recent stages of planning the foundation pillars and abutments. The end result of this planning and cross section shape. Where that will be calculated from the price of the building to be used.
