Abstract

This study aims to determine the distribution of the vegetation indexes to estimate the carbon stocks of forest stands in the Production Forest of Lembah Seulawah sub-district. Aceh Province, Indonesia. A non-destructive method using allometric equations and landscape scale method were applied, where in carbon stocks at the points of samples are correlated with the index values of each transformation of the vegetation indexes; EVI and NDVI.  Results show that EVI values of study area from 0.05 to 0.90 and NDVI values from 0.17 to 0.85. The regression analysis between EVI with carbon stock value of sample locations equation is Y = 151.7X-39.76. with the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.83. From this calculation, the total carbon stocks in the Production Forest area of Lembah Seulawah sub-district using EVI is estimated 790.344.41 tonnes, and the average value of carbon stocks in average is 51.48 tons per hectare.  Regression analysis between NDVI values at the research locations for the carbon stack measured samples is Y = 204.Xx-102.1 with coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.728. Total carbon stocks in production forest of Lembah Seulawah sub-district using NDVI is estimated 711.061.81 tones. and the average value of carbon stocks is 46.32 tons per hectare. From the above results it can be concluded that the vegetation indexes: EVI and NDVI are vegetation indexed that have a very close correlation with carbon stocks stands estimation. The correlation between EVI with carbon stock and the correlation between NDVI with carbon stock is not significantly different

Abstract

Abstract: The research aimed to analyse the climate type change and its effect on the weatland paddy production. The average precipation of area used a method of Thiessen Polygon. The temperature and air humidity used Dauglas HK.Lee’s classification. Meanwhile, Schmidth-Ferguson’ classification was used to observe the climate type change of the area and the climate change on the weatland paddy production was analysed through a regression multiple. The observation was conducted for 15 years in the first period (1983-1997) and for 15 years in the second period (1998-2012). The research results showed that the change of climate type in the area of Aceh Besar district had happened from the type A to the type B in the area of Saree and Kota Jantho subdistrict. Further, the climate change of type B to the type C also happened in Blang Bintang subdistrict. Saree had the average precipitation from 2.466 mm/year in the first period to 1.735 mm/year in the second period. Also, Blang Bintang subdistrict had the average precipitation from 3.857 mm/year to 1.393 mm/year, and Kota Jantho subdistrict had the precipitation from 4.431 mm/year to 1.917. The regression analysis showed that the climate did not have a clear influence on the weatland paddy productivity and the area the for live of wide harvested. Great Aceh District had implemented a development of agriculture for food plants which were not affected by the climate change structurally or non structurally. This can be seen from the fact that the Local Government had given a contribution to the society: such as giving new variety of plants in every planting season, organic fertilizer, drainage and reservoir building, opening a new weatland and agricultural extension workers. Although these contributions have not been implemented fully, they have given positive effect on the threat of food security in Great Aceh District for the last 30 years. This can be seen that the total of weatland paddy production in the last 15 years of the second period have got increased for 1.558.711 tons or 10.3 per cent and got decreased for 13.686 ha, so that the influence of climate change was not significant for two period examied. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan tipe iklim terhadap produksi padi sawah, rata-rata curah hujan wilayah menggunakan metode Poligon Thiessen, suhu dan kelembaban udara menggunakan penggolongan Dauglas HK. Lee. Sedangkan klasifikasi Schmidth-Ferguson digunakan untuk melihat perubahan tipe iklim wilayah, perubahan iklim terhadap produksi dilakukan analisis Regresi linier berganda. Pengamatan dilakukan pada periode 15 tahunan pertama (1983-1997) dan 15 periode 15 tahunan kedua (1998-2012). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa telah terjadi perubahan tipe iklim wilayah di Kabupaten Aceh Besar dari tipe A ke tipe B pada Kawasan Saree dan Kecamatan Kota Jantho. Selanjutnya perubahan tipe iklim B ke tipe C untuk Kecamatan Blang Bintang. Dengan rata-rata curah hujan Kawasan Saree 2.466 mm tahun-1 periode pertama menjadi 1.735 mm tahun-1 di periode kedua, Kecamatan Blang Bintang 3.857 mm/tahun menjadi 1.393 mm tahun dan Kecamatan Kota Jantho 4.431 mm tahun-1 menjadi 1.917 mm tahun-1. Analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa perubahan iklim berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap produktivitas padi sawah dan luas lahan gagal panen. Dikarenakan Kabupaten Aceh Besar telah menerapkan pembangunan pertanian tanaman pangan yang tahan terhadap perubahan iklim baik struktural maupun non struktural. Hal ini terlihat dari adanya bantuan Pemerintah daerah kepada masyarakat seperti: pemberian varietas-varietas baru setiap musim tanam, pupuk organik, pembagunan irigasi dan drainase, waduk, pembukaan lahan sawah baru serta tenaga penyuluh pertanian. Kendati demikian belum sepenuhnya terlaksanakan tetapi ini telah memberikan konstribusi terhadap ancaman ketahanan pangan di Kabupaten Aceh Besar selama 30 tahun terakhir yang terlihat dari jumlah produksi padi sawah 15 tahunan periode kedua terjadi peningkatan sebesar 1.558.711 ton atau 10.3 persen dan luas lahan gagal panen terjadi penurunan sebesar 13.686 ha, sehingga pengaruh perubahan iklim terabaikan selama dua periode tersebut.

Abstract

Membangun jejaring litbangkes melalui satu ikon yang dapat menjadi magnet (daya tarik untuk mendatangkan institusi lain) sekaligus dapat mempromosikan hasil-hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Balitbangkes Depkes RI itu sendiri. Yakni sebuah ikon dalam bentuk gedung Mosquito Theater dan pameran yang pembangunannya dilakukan secara bertahap selama 3 tahun (2006-2008). Yaitu dengan adanya pemutaran film-film dokumenter tentang seputar pemberantasan penyakit bersumber binatang. Dari sini, diharapkan peran serta masyarakat dapat lebih meningkat lagi. Sementara itu, dipihak lain, adanya gedung ini merupakan bahasa yang mudah dipahami dalam advokasi dengan pemerintah daerah khususnya, karena mengintegrasikan substansi pariwisata yang notabene merupakan visi dari pemerintah daerah baik provinsi maupun kabupaten.

Abstract

Pemberantasan malaria di Kabupaten Garut belum intensif karena pelaksanaannya belum didukung oleh data lapangan yang akurat. Penyebabnya, belum adanya sistem informasi malaria yang handal yang bisa dijadikan acuan sebagai dasar untuk mengantisipasi terjadinya Kejadian Luar Biasa (KLB). Pemanfaatan teknologi maju seperti penginderaan jauh dalam pemantauan kondisi lingkungan daerah endemis malaria merupakan suatu yang mendesak. Suatu studi epidemiologi analitik non-experimental yang bertujuan untuk mengantisipasi terjadinya KLB dengan mengembangkan sistem informasi malaria yang berdasarkan environmental system dan mosquito system yang dihubungkan dengan surveilans kasus dilaksanakan di Desa Sagara dan Maroko kecamatan Cibalong Kabupaten Garut. Data yang dikumpulkan diperoleh melalui survei entomologi, pengukuran lapangan, pengambilan sediaan darah, data sekunder kasus serta data satelit melalui remote sensing (penginderaan jauh). Data yang diperoleh dianalisa menggunakan SPSS versi 10. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variasi spesies nyamuk Anopheles yang berhasil ditangkap di Desa Sagara yang dominan adalah An. sundaicus, sedangkan di Desa Maroko An. aconitus. Untuk tempat perindukan potensial nyamuk Anopheles spp di Desa Sagara adalah lagun Haminteu adapun di Desa Maroko adalah genangan air berupa aliran pesawahan dan kolam yang ditanami kangkung. Di Desa Sagara faktor lingkungan yang signifikan adalah tingkat kehijauan tanaman, kelembaban, ketebalan awan dan suhu. Variabel curah hujan dengan kepadatan nyamuk dominan An. aconitus di Desa Maroko terdapat hubungan yang signifikan. Model matematika untuk kepadatan vektor dan kasus malaria untuk Desa Sagara adalah y (kasus malaria) = 1,6667 x (An. sundaicus), sedangkan untuk desa Maroko adalah y (kasus malaria) = 1,25 x (An.aconitus).Keywords: Environmental system, mosquito system, surveilans kasus, remote sensing, Kejadian Luar Biasa (KLB)

Abstract

Abstract - The surface reflectance anisotropy can be estimated by directional reflectance analysis through the collection of multi-angular spectral data. Proper characterization of the surface anisotropy is an important element in the successful interpretation of remotely sensed signals. A signal received by a sensor from a vegetation canopy is affected by several factors. One of them is the sensor zenith angle. Functional data analysis can be used to assess the distribution and variation of spectral reflectance due to sensor zenith angle. This paper examines the effect of sensor zenith angles on the spectral reflectance of vegetation, example on cotton leaves. The spectra were acquired in a green house trial in order to address the question ‘how much information can be obtained from multi-angular hyperspectral remote sensing on vegetation?’ The goals of the functional data analysis applied in this paper is to examine the Functional Data Analysis approach was applied to analysis multi-angular hyperspectral data on cotton, highlighting various characteristics of cotton spectra due to sensor view angles, and to infer directional variation in an outcome or dependent variable with different zenith angles.

Abstract

The flight distances of Anopheles sundaicus in Sukaresik District of Ciamis is 910 meters from its breeding places, however the area which is related to mosquito density is not described due to influence of many variables, therefore the study was carried out to determine relationship between flight range and mosquito density. The benefit of data related to priority setting for malaria vector control. The methodology analysis for this study was performed by entomological survey which is divided into 5 zones. The range of zone was 0 into 375 meters from breeding places with different of human density (Zone I was0 - 75 m, Zone II was 75-150 m, Zone III was 150 - 225 m, zone IV was 225 - 300 m and zone V was300 - 375 m). Each zone was selected 5 houses for catching stations of mosquito both indoor and outdoor. The number of An. sundaicus which was trapped both indoor and outdoor was combined and grouped by range zone, therefore was calculated the number of proportion each zone. The replication of this study is 3 times at interval of 14 days. The result of proportion was analyzed to figure out each zone relationship between range of potential breeding places mosquito density and human density. The conclusion of thisstudy: the human density under flight range of An. sundaicus area related to mosquito density, however the range of breeding places and human density was not correlated to mosquito density. Abstract

At malaria high endemic area, oftentimes appear a malaria carrier (without clinical symptom) due to antibody parasite existence on blood as caused the frequently of contact human with malaria parasite.To detect prevalence of malaria carrier, it had been conducted a study at Pamotan and Bagolo villages with blood microscopically examination for malaria parasites existences.

Abstract

Abstracts. Malaria control program is aimed to prevent of disease transmission and treat­ment. The successes of malaria control program depend on many factors. One of those fac­tors is community participation which is initially by awareness. The study which is aimed to asses relationship between knowledge and community participation was conducted in Sin­dangkerta village - Cipatujah Sub District - District of Tasikmalaya. This area has been high endemie malaria since malaria program was launched in southern coastal of java island. Data collection was carried out by interview to 270 respondents which was chosen as a sam­ple. The results of th is study are 77.4% of sample is good knowledge however 13% lack par­ticipation. Base on statically test, there is not significantly relationship between knowledge and participation. This research suggested that Health District office of Tasikmalaya have to undertake facilitating and stewardship for improving community participation by local specific method and involving of key person as well.Keywords : Knowledge, community participation, malaria control program

Untuk  meningkatkan ketrampilam  mahasiswa dalam melakukan kegiatan Praktek  Mesin produksi, perlu dilakukan beberapa persiapan antara lain teori penunjang yang membekali mahasiswa dalam mempercepat alih pengetahuan dan ketrampilan  yaitu mata kuliah Teknologi Mekanik dam  mata kuliah gambar teknik. Untuk mencapai  kemampuan ketramilan tersebut diperlukan  peralatan  pendukung yaitu Mesin Frais, Mesin Sekrap, Mesin Bubut, beserta alat potong Mesin Gerinda dan Alat Ukur; Mikrometer, Jangka Sorong, Busur Derajat dengan beberapa gambar kerja yang digunakan sebagai acuaan dalam melakukan kegiatan alih ketrampilan .Gambar kerja yang digunakan V Blok, Mur T, Bubut bertingkat 1, Bertingkat 2, Bubut Toleransi, Gerinda Pahat Rata Kanan, Gerinda Kasar Kanan. Evaluasi Produk Pratikan terdiri dari beberapa kriteria antara lain; Kehadiran Pratikan, Proses Produk,  Performen Produk, Akuurasi Ukuran Produk, Ketepatan waktu Produk, sebagai gambaran diabil sebanyak 32 Pratikan.. Hasil Pratikan dievaluasi dengan memberikan prosentase (bobot nilai) pada masing masing kriteria selanjutnya  diolah untuk menentukan nilai akhir Pratikan dengan NA (Nilai Angka) atau NH  (Nilai Huruf).
