Abstract

Improving performance quality becomes a main goal of every developing company. The objective of this study is to investigate the influence of labor discipline, motivation and leadership style on employee performance either simultaneously or partially, and to determine the most influential variables of the employee’s performance at Sadha Jaya printing in Denpasar. The technique of collecting data applied in this study was observation, interviews and questionnaires. The respondents were 48 employees at Sadha Jaya printing in Denpasar. The data were tested by applying validity and reliability testing that aims to determine how far the variables studied have a degree of accuracy and consistency. Later, the data found were analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis techniques, F test and T test. Keywords : work discipline, motivation, leadership styles and performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal misconceptions about mechanics held by the last semester pre-service physics teachers at one of universities in Lampung. The population of this study was all of pre-service physics teachers who was conducting a final project at one of universities in Lampung. The research was conducted in odd semester academic year of 2012-2013 with 67 samples. A multiple choice test with the certainty of response index (CRI) was used in this study. The test consisted of 18 items about mechanics conceptual understanding. By using CRI, it can be identified whether the students hold misconceptions or not. Results showed that as many 36% students held misconceptions about mechanics concepts, and only 28% of the sudents understood the concepts. Work and energy was the highest misconceptions’ topic and rotational dynamics was the lowest misconceptions’ topic.

Abstract

A module is a media that can be used without other supporting media. Based on the need analysis, the media used as learning source in State SMAN 1 in Banjit was only students’ working sheets (LKS). The objective of this research was to produce a physic learning module based on multi representation for kinematics learning material for Grade X students in SMAN 1 in Banjit. The development method was adapted from research procedures and developments according to Suyanto and Sartinem (2009) that contain of seven stages of development. The testing results of users’ response were 3.30 for appealing aspect with excellent category, 3.24 for easiness aspect with good category, and 3.54 for usefulness aspect with excellent category. The effectiveness test result was 77.1% with least accomplishments criteria (or KKM) of 70. These indicate that the module is proper and effective to use as a learning media.Modul merupakan media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan tanpa media penunjang lain. Berdasarkan identifikasi kebutuhan, media yang digunakan sebagai sumber belajar di SMAN 1 Banjit hanya LKS. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis multirepresentasi pada materi kinematika untuk siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Banjit. Metode pengembangan diadaptasi dari langkah-langkah penelitian dan pengembangan menurut Suyanto dan Sartinem (2009) yang meliputi tujuh tahapan pengembangan. Hasil uji coba terhadap respon pengguna untuk aspek kemenarikan memperoleh skor 3,30 dengan kategori sangat baik, aspek kemudahan memperoleh skor 3,24 dengan kategori baik, untuk aspek kebermanfaatan memperoleh skor 3,54 dengan kategori sangat baik. Sementara itu, hasil uji efektivitas mencapai 77,1% siswa tuntas KKM 70. Dengan demikian, modul layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.Kata kunci: modul, multirepresentasi, pengembangan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to make an assesment instrument of spiritual (divinity) and social attitudes (environmental devotion) in integrative science learning for junior high school students about learning topic the changing of our surroundings. Development method was adapted from the development method by Sugiyono (2013) which contains of seven stages of development. Validation design which contains construction, substantion, and language was tested to two expert and showed that the instrument had high validity with 3,56 validity score. After the validity test, then the instrument was tested its reability which was done to students of VII 1 at SMP Global Madani Bandar Lampung in academic year 2013/2014 which consists of 19 students. The result of the reliability test showed that the instrument had high realibility with 0,878 alpha cronbach’s score. The result of research showed that the instrument was valid and reliable to measure of divinity and environmental devotion attitudes.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan instrumen penilaian sikap spiritual (nilai ketuhanan) dan sosial (nilai kecintaan terhadap lingkungan) pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu untuk SMP pada tema pembelajaran perubahan di sekitar kita. Metode pengembangan diadaptasi dari metode pengembangan menurut Sugiyono (2013) yang meliputi tujuh tahapan pengembangan. Validasi desain yang meliputi aspek konstruksi, substansi, dan bahasa diujikan kepada dua orang ahli dan diperoleh skor validitas sebesar 3,56 dengan kategori validitas sangat tinggi. Setelah uji validasi, kemudian dilakukan uji reliabilitas yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas VII 1 SMP Global Madani Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 19 siswa. Hasil uji reliabilitas diperoleh alpha cronbach’s sebesar 0,878 dengan kategori reliabilitas sangat tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen valid dan reliabel untuk mengukur nilai ketuhanan dan nilai kecintaan terhadap lingkungan dan layak untuk digunakan.Kata kunci: instrumen penilaian sikap, nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, pengembangan

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop students book for science learning that contains the value of divinity and environment devotion for junior high school students. The subjects of this research were design and material experts and students of class VII-1 Global Madani Junior High School. Development method was adapted from the development model of learning media by Suyanto and Sartinem (2009) which contains of seven stages of development. The results of feasibility tests by design expert and material expert showed that the design quality of the book was excellent (89%), and the material quality of the book was good enough (56%). Furthermore, from the results of the trial test showed that for the appealing aspect of the students book with very attractive category (3,51), for the easeness aspect with very easy to use category (3,36), and for the usefullness aspect with very usefull category (3,35). The results of the effectiveness test showed that the book was effective for science learning.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan buku siswa pembelajaran sains bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan lingkungan bagi siswa SMP. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu ahli desain dan ahli materi serta siswa kelas VII-1 SMP Global Madani. Metode pengembangan diadaptasi dari model pengembangan media pembelajaran oleh Suyanto dan Sartinem (2009) yang meliputi tujuh tahapan pengembangan. Hasil uji kelayakan oleh ahli desain dan ahli materi didapatkan bahwa kualitas design buku sangat baik (89%), dan kualitas materi buku cukup baik (56%). Selanjutnya, dari hasil uji coba pemakaian diperoleh bahwa untuk aspek kemenarikan buku siswa dengan kategori sangat menarik (3,51), untuk aspek kemudahan dengan kategori sangat mudah digunakan (3,36) dan untuk aspek kemanfaatan dengan kategori sangat bermanfaat (3,35). Hasil uji keefektifan menunjukkan bahwa buku efektif untuk pembelajaran sains.Kata kunci: buku siswa, nilai kecintaan lingkungan, nilai ketuhanan, pengembangan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop a multirepresentation-based students’ book which is attractive, easy, useful, and effective to be used as a learning media. The population of this research was the students of class XI IPA at SMAN 1 Rumbia. This developmental research contained five stages of work that comprised: analyzing product which is being developed, developing preliminary product, validation expert test and revision, field test in a small group and revision, and field test in a big group and final production. The testing scores of users’ response were 3,45 for attractiveness aspect with excellent category, 3,50 for easiness aspect with excellent category, and 3,44 for usefulness aspect with excellent category. The effectiveness test result was 81,2% with least accomplishments criteria (or KKM). These indicated that the student’s book is approved to be used as a learning media.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan buku siswa berbasis multirepresentasi yang menarik, mudah, bermanfaat, dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Siswa Kelas XI IPA SMAN 1 Rumbia. Tahapan pengembangan terdiri dari lima yaitu: menganalisis produk yang akan dikembangkan, mengembangkan produk awal, validasi ahli dan revisi, uji coba lapangan skala kecil dan revisi produk, dan uji lapangan skala besar dan produk akhir. Hasil uji coba terhadap respon pengguna untuk aspek kemenarikan memperoleh skor 3,45 dengan kategori sangat baik, aspek kemudahan memperoleh skor 3,50 dengan kategori sangat baik, untuk aspek kebermanfaatan memperoleh skor 3,44 dengan kategori sangat baik. Sementara itu, hasil uji efektivitas mencapai 81,2% siswa tuntas KKM. Abstract

The observation results showed that there were many students who did not possess scientific attitude in learning physics. This was caused by a fact that students used conventional learning model. The objective of this research was to find out the influence of student’s scientific attitude to concept mastery by using guided inquiry learning model. Population was all Grade X students in State Senior High School 12 in Bandar Lampung in odd semester of academic year 2013 – 2014. Samples were 34 students in classroom X4.3samples were taken using simple random sampling technique. This research used one-shot case study design. Hypothesis was tested using simple linear regression. The result showed, the conclusion was that the student’s scientific attitude influenced positively and significantly the students’ physics mastery concept by using guided inquiry learning model with contribution of 31% which was the determination coefficient value (R square).Berdasarkan hasil observasi masih banyak siswa yang kurang memiliki sikap ilmiah dalam mempelajari fisika. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang diterima siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh sikap ilmiah siswa terhadapa penguasaan konsep fisika siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 12 Bandar Lampung Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2013-2014, sedangkan sampel yang diambil yaitu Kelas X4 dengan jumlah 34 siswa. Pemilihan kelas sampel dengan teknik simple random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one-shot case study. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil uji tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sikap ilmiah siswa berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penguasaan konsep fisika siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan kontribusi sebesar 31% yang merupakan nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square).Kata kunci: inkuiri terbimbing, penguasaan konsep, dan sikap ilmiah.

Abstract

The previous study at State Junior High School 8 in Bandar Lampung showed that many students perceived physics as a difficult subject because it employed many mathematical formulas and developing concept. Therefore, the objective of this research was to find out the influence of ability to generate representation mode to physics problem solving by applying guided inquiry with multiple representations learning approach. Data of ability in generating representation mode were collected with 5 problems given to students and data of problem solving were collected by giving 7 problems to students in the end of learning process. The results showed that there was a positive, linear and significant influence between generating representation mode ability and problem solving in physics subject, with contribution of 85.3% as the value of determination coefficient (R Square).Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pendahuluan di SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung, masih banyak siswa yang menganggap fisika merupakan mata pelajaran yang sulit karena banyak menggunakan rumus matematis dan banyak pengembangan konsepnya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan membangun mode representasi terhadap pemecahan masalah fisika melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan pendekatan multirepresentasi. Data kemampuan membangun mode representasi diperoleh dengan 5 butir soal yang diberikan kepada siswa dan data pemecahan masalah diperoleh melalui 7 butir soal yang diberikan pada akhir pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh linear yang positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan membangun mode representasi terhadap pemecahan masalah fisika, dengan kontribusi sebesar 85,3% yang merupakan nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square). Kata kunci: gerak, inkuiri terbimbing, kemampuan membangun mode representasi, pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

This research aimed to produce interactive learning media based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) that are effective to learn particle waves dualism concept for students and aimed to identify student’s response about the attractiveness of the product. This research used research and development (R&D) method with implementation procedure referenced on the research procedure according to Suyanto and Sartinem that were consisted of seven steps, that is: (1) analysis of the needs; (2) identification of resources; (3) identification of product specifications; (4) product development; (5) internal test; (6) external test; and (7) production. This research produced interactive learning media in the concept of particle waves dualism as a source of independent learning for students grade XII IPA SMA Islam Terpadu Baitul Muslim Way Jepara. The media was declared effective based on the success of students reached the minimum completeness criteria (is called KKM) and it was declared attractive based on questionnaire analysis results.Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) yang efektif dalam membelajarkan konsep dualisme gelombang partikel pada siswa serta untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap kemenarikan dari produk yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (R&D) dengan prosedurpelaksanaan mengacu pada prosedur penelitian menurut Suyanto dan Sartinem yang terdiri dari tujuh langkah, yaitu: (1) analisis kebutuhan;(2) identifikasi sumberdaya;(3) identifikasi spesifikasi produk; (4) pengembangan produk;(5) uji internal; (6) uji eksternal;dan(7) produksi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif pada konsep dualisme gelombang partikel sebagai sumber belajar mandiri bagi siswa kelas XII IPA SMA Islam Terpadu Baitul Muslim Way Jepara. Media yang dihasilkan dinyatakan efektif berdasarkan keberhasilan siswa mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) dan dinyatakan menarik berdasarkan hasil analisis angket.Kata kunci: dualisme gelombang partikel, media pembelajaran interaktif, penelitian pengembangan

Abstract

This research aimed to recognize influence of English skill on result of physics’ study using Inquiry. The data of English skill was taken by using TOEFL Junior test and the data of result of physics study was taken by a test on Heat. The data analysis used simple linear regression. The data analysis revealed that the correlation coefficient was 0.747 categorized as high correlation and the contribution of English skill to result of physics study using Inquiry was 55.8 %. It showed positive and significant influence of English skill on result of physics study. It was caused by the language as a media of scientific communication.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh kemampuan bahasa Inggris terhadap hasil belajar fisika menggunakan model Inkuiri. Data kemampuan bahasa Inggris siswa diambil menggunakan soal TOEFL Junior, dan data hasil belajar fisika diambil dengan tes pada materi Kalor. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,747 berkategori korelasi tinggi dan kontribusi bahasa Inggris terhadap hasil belajar fisika sebesar 55,8 %. Hasil ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kemampuan bahasa Inggris terhadap hasil belajar fisika. Hal tersebut dikarenakan bahasa merupakan sarana komunikasi ilmiah.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, kemampuan bahasa Inggris, model Inkuiri.
